The machines are good but the gym is a mess. Everyone should put the weights away but it doesn't happen.. Bars for Squat in a high position with a lot of weights on, weights and dumbbells everywhere on the floor. Sometimes a employee goes there to tidy up but, poor guy, these kind of things should have been done by everyone. They don't have odd numbers dumbbells so, you have to go from 4kg to 6kg for example wich can be too much in some cases..

The female section is not big enough and has less equipment. There is so much unnecessary space in the mixed section with crowded equipment, some of that space and equipment should at least go towards the female section. There are girls being hostile towards each other due to the lack of equipment and space it is just unfair. You say that it is a 'safe place to build up confidence and self esteem' but due to the lack of equipment and space, the woman have no choice but to go to the mixed section. The gym would benefit with a larger female section which includes more equipment such as smith machines, leg press, hamstring curl machine, leg extension e.c.t as well as a larger warm up space with more mats. There are also missing dumbbells as they are all over the place, and equipment's just laying on the floor, enforcing rules to place equipment back would be helpful. Reasons like this has made me leave this gym, I'm sure a lot of woman would agree, this advice would honestly help the gym a lot so I recommend you consider it.

Compared to Korea, the price is cheap and good, but the wifi is not very good.

The staff clearly doesn’t care their customers. They told me there is no joining fee when I signed up membership but I was charged after I signed up. I emailed the gym and I got response that there is a discount code before I enter my details while I wasn’t given any when I am physically in the gym but she didn’t even help me with registration. Later on, they didn’t feel the mistakes made by their staff caused inconvenience to the customers. When I asked when my refund will be processed and they said the query will be answered after bank holiday, such a vague answer. I can’t believe it

1)The gym is dark like the “Mariana Trench” probably a strategy to cover the dirt and defects of venue. Sometimes you just want to sleep in the bench because the darkness. 2) Phone Signal/Reception Despite the location in zone 2/3 around some fancy Mini-skyscrapers this GYM doesn’t have signal/ reception at all. Seems like you are training in a Russian bunker in Siberia not in London in the middle of the western civilisation. Doesn’t matter if you have EE, Vodafone, 02 the latest IPhone or Samsung you will not have signal/reception especially 3G/4G/5G forget about to listen some important work audio on WhatsApp or check your latest GP test results?! Or your mama asks you to buy some pasta at the shop for the dinner guess what?! no pasta tonight because is no signal. And despite this lack of reception this venue doesn’t provide WI-Fi the password is “guest2018” so that means they didn’t even bother to change the network provider in almost 5 years! 5 years think how many things happened in 5 years: Brexit has been completed we have overcome a global pandemic and now there is a war in Europe but despite everything the Wi-Fi is not working yet very frustrating!! 3)The sauna is cool but unfortunately you cannot regulate the temperature of the showers is only warm water no cold water. After the sauna is very beneficial and effective to do a shower with cold water unfortunately in this gym the shower temperature is standard/hot. Despite all of this this gym is not bad they have a lot of equipments and potential is in a good area easy to reach they can improve hopefully one day.

Good equipment and nice receptionists. Only giving 2* because the place was a complete mess during my visit...people not following guidelines, equipment left all over the floor (weights, dumbells, barbells just all over the place)...staff need to reinforce safety and cleanliness of this gym ASAP. If you ever go to The Gym which is across the bridge, you will see how a decent gym should look like! Much more space, fresher air - better air ventilation, always tidy, people follow guidelines and always respect equipment and others around them.

I wish I could give a positive review but there was a lot of things wrong with this gym from the moment I walked in. The DJ was so loud that I couldn't hear the receptionist when trying to have a conversation about my membership and payment, I had to result to shouting across the counter. There's zero data if you're on O2. And the gyms free WiFi bugs out often so don't expect to WhatsApp anyone, watch a workout tutorial or use a fitness tracking app. Mismatched weights were absolutely everywhere in a mess. Finding a set of dumbbells was impossible. It was so dirty, I don't think the gym has a regular cleaner. Tissues everywhere on the floor, people's sweat unwiped. It was really unhigenic. I think the staff need uniform because I couldn't tell who works there or not. I gave this a 1 star because the best thing I got out of it was the sauna. I heard the branch in Mile End is better, but definitely not this one.

The staff are lovely and helpful. I joined in January and everyone has been welcoming. The main area has a variety of equipment however it is quite congested. The ladies area is really small and it doesn’t have enough equipment. It feels as if we’re all on top of each other when using weights and the mat. The classes get booked really quickly and due to the size of the room it’s difficult to manoeuvre. During the class, people hoard weights so there aren’t enough for you to work with. As someone who works, I can only make it for late afternoon. It can get really busy, you’re left waiting quite a while to use equipments - for that alone the membership price is not worth it.

Although the equipment is in decent condition, the gym is always messy and the tap for water in the changing room and the water fountain are very often out of order. Likewise, the gym frequently lacks blue paper to wipe the equipment before and after use, which obviously results in pretty disgusting benches and equipment if you don't bring your own towel. Not to mention that it's not exactly ideal, given the pandemic guidelines.

It's a good gym when it's not busy like most gyms . My only issue is that the dumbells are a mess. I undrstand that the gym relies on users to put them back but due to the lack of enforcement or encouragement a few are abusing that goodwill. Also it seems that some ladies borrow dumbells and take it to the women section which is fine but then can't be bothered to return them to the main gym area which is frustrating as it means your spending time looking for them and in some cases doing with out. Last thing is the gym needs to get a couple of more ropes for the pully. There's only 1 rope and when you get a group working out together then you can be waiting a long time, for a gym that size I find it astonishing. Edit: someone probably saw my review or mentioned it to them as they have added a few more ropes for the pully stations.

Good points: a lot less busy than The Gym Group across the road, has enough barbells and racks and some of the classes are pretty good. Has a small sauna which is a nice touch But... Bad points: The situation with equipment strewn all over the place is pretty bad and getting dangerous. You have to be very mindful of where you walk especially when trying to return weights (I've had a few near misses myself) and there's often discarded equipment blocking the fire exit. I know members should put weights away but the gym cannot rely on it especially when there is no enforcement. Can waste a lot of time trying to find dumbbells and there are kettlebells in there apparently but have yet to find them. It's pretty filthy generally, some of the older benches have infestations in them. Never seen it being cleaned anywhere. WiFi works for around 4 days a month and due to its positioning under a bridge there is little reception away from the windows. If you need to use app programmes for your workouts you need to get these fired up before you get it

Update: It's the same as 2 years ago when I joined last time. I rejoined but the issue is still there so I left this gym again and joined another gym adjacent to it. No hope of improvement here. Original: No network reception, WIFI doesn't connect either. You have to be disconnected with family, friends and sometimes work while exercising. Made a nos. of complaints but no luck getting it resolved.

I am really pleased with all classes in there. The gym is quite clean and nice and the people working there are friendly. UNFORTUNATELY you have been increased the prices , but at the same time Not Having Wi-Fi from months. I mean monthS. This is really poor management. You have to take actions , and fixed the Wi-Fi problem and the poor connection in general. You are just all the time making excuses that you are working on it.I only see that you are not having enough effort f To fixes the problem

This is a decent gym to be fair. Friendly staff and for the price you pay. This facility actually has a sauna inside each changing room area. 1 for females and 1 for men so there is no free mixing. Also something that is handy is that they have a separate womens training area in the womens section for the females who like to train while not free mixing so very ideal for a female who covers from head to toe. So for the price it is very good value for money. And also has good open and closing times aswell. Hope this helps

DO NOT COME HERE if you are interested in the woman’s section. It is very overcrowded. The place is a mess with weights everywhere. Only two running machines, one is faulty. There isn’t any space to workout, there’s no space. The gym itself is quite spacious but have left no room for women to work out safely and independently. There are barely any staff around that I can visibly see. In a very convenient location right next to Canning Town Station. Toilets do not seem clean. Needs improvement

Good gym vibes. Been using this place for 3 years. The gym itself is pretty standard/basic, but the people working there and the actual customers are very good.

The place is dark, not enough lighting inside. It's not very clean, you can see a lot of dirt accumulated around the machines that has not been cleaned for years and also it's very conjusted and cramped up. It's not spacious.

Good gym, great staff. Would give 5 stars if it was better lit. Too dark, difficult to see and find weights when it's dark outside. Please make it brighter! Otherwise, all good!

People not following guidelines and no one wears a mask walking around the gym. Staff need to enforce the Covid-19 guidelines in the gym to ensure safety and cleanliness of the gym and its members. Even the staffs aren't wearing a mask.

NO Wi-Fi or signal at the gym. It's been like this for 12 months for what I can see, so even if they tell you that it is going to be fixed, it's just a lie, they don't care. Most of the lockers are already occupied or reserved, so if you come on the rush hours, you don't have any storage available.

Best staff, great atmosphere! The lighting is perfect - creating a good ambience. Separate rooms for a studio and spinning classes. I love that there’s also a women’s gym and 2 sauna’s one in men’s and women’s changing rooms. Would highly recommend! My only wish is constant Wi-Fi throughout the gym ✨

  • 2/5 Vicky L. 2 months ago on Google • 14 reviews New
The membership increases but the facilities and equipment don’t get any better. The spin studio is desperate for an overhaul, the sound system is terrible and the bikes are in desperate need of updating. Be sure to arrive for your class early as you will highly likely have to service your bike before you can get on it, it took me 3 attempts and even on the 3rd bike I had to dismantle the handle bars, fix the plastic tubing and then reattached the handle bars to stop them moving, When the sound system isn’t working which is often, they use a speaker but you can’t hear the music at the back, hopefully you enjoy the sound of rattling bikes instead as that’s all you can hear, If it wasn’t for the incredibly capable instructors, Sarah and Kris who can motivate you despite all of that i wouldn’t bother.

Great value gym! I have been going there for years. It has added value by having a sauna and hairdryers in the women's area which makes it very women friendly. Not to mention it has a whole private and dedicated women only exercising area fitted with machines and dumbels for the women who like more privacy. People are nice and friendly. The atmosphere is very welcoming and homey and overall energy is great. I always feel good going there and I go regularly. Yes, there are always small things which can be improved but honestly this gym is great and good enough just the way it is and is great value for money! Highly recommend!

Love that it's closer to home but find the music unbearably too loud inside the gym. Wish they had low music hour or put on a TV show in the mornings so it's less distracting

Have been twice via Hussle. Some of the classes are good but avoid the Tuesday evening dance classes at 6pm and 8pm. The instructor is really horrible and nasty. She has a very unwelcoming and unfriendly manner and I will not be returning due to her disgusting attitude. She does not treat newcomers well and could learn a lot from the 7pm LBT instructor Khris who is her complete opposite

Price are really competitive thanks to my girlfriend corporate benefits, that's why I moved from "thegym" The sauna is incredible. The space can be better organized. They need more dumbbells especially low weights for shoulders exercises. Nice and friendly people. Sometimes the music is too loud.

Gym has no parking ! And if you want to use Morrison one ,make sure you check the hour restriction ,coz gym opens 5am but car park 7am for example. Get attracted to the gym for the price and end up paying much more, just because trusted and failed to check. Gym website is misleading !!!

This has been my gym for many years. Since lockdown ended I have become a much loved regular. The team are exceptional! Especially Dave, he will treat you like family and make sure your always welcome. Facilities are top class and you can get PT sessions from a good range of diverse trainers. They also have a sauna which is pretty darn fantastic. So if u want a professional family vibe head to fitness4less and get bodytastic.

I recently visited the gym and, while there have been some renovation improvements, they appear to be minimal at best. One major issue I encountered is the constant interruption during classes, with individuals standing by the door while classes are in progress. The doors themselves don't shut properly, resulting in noise disruption. To address this, I recommend replacing them with noise-proof wooden doors and prominently displaying a "DO NOT ENTER" sign to remind members to engage quietly and refrain from entering the room unnecessarily. Additionally, it may be beneficial to consider relocating equipment to a more accessible area. Furthermore, I was disappointed to find that the sauna in the ladies' changing room is still not fixed, and there are noticeable safety hazards such as nails sticking out in certain areas and a broken seat. The condition of the sanitary bins is also concerning, as they often malfunction, resulting in a mess that is unacceptable for a ladies' toilet. Additionally, the ceiling appears to be wet and shows signs of potential collapse, which is a serious safety concern. Management: I urge for the monitoring of class capacity to ensure classes are not exceeding safe limits. Proper ventilation should also be ensured prior to classes to maintain air quality. Furthermore, the new mats are already damaged and pose a slipping hazard, indicating a potential waste of funds. Lastly, I recommend a thorough deep cleaning of the gym floors, which appear to be in dire need of attention after years of sweat accumulation. There is never enough tissue in the dispenser, you always need to ask for it. Maybe the staff should be more proactive and make sure the area is clean and tidy, etc. Overall, while the gym has potential, there are several critical areas that require immediate attention to provide a safer and more enjoyable experience for members.

The gym staff are great, but the management don’t care. The air condition doesn’t work. It’s so hot in there during summer time that you start sweating before you start your workout. People have spoken to the management for years and every year they say they are going to sort it out and every year they don’t. I know people that have left because of this issue over the last 6 years but nothing has been done to resolve it .
