This is the best Nepalese food I’ve had outside of south asia and that says a lot! It’s a quaint, little restaurant tucked away in blackheath close to Greenwich Park. The service was great and the food was great. Pictured here is the gurkhali chicken and the spinach chicken. We got the momos (a must) and the chili chicken (as well as dal and the lakeside fish). They have a great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages but their cocktails are exquisite! Such a feel-good place: I will definitely go back soon!

A great hospitality experience for our first time trying Nepalese food 😋 Best cocktails we've ever tried, my fave was Nepalese whiskey sour "The Smokey Himalayas" and The Jiri gin cocktail - love the lime twist. Every plate was a high standard, from the impressive scallops and prawns starters to the salmon and lamb shank mains, all so good..delicate and tasty desserts, so beautifully presented. Definitely recommend this place 👌🏼

I’m no stranger to Blackheath as I worked and lived here for 2yrs. We drove in from Chislehurst to check out this new Vietnamese place. The place was nowhere to be found but we struck gold by choosing to eat here. The staff were professional, yet approachable and not too clingy. Then he food came, WOW! It was tasteful and beautiful. Definitely coming back here after recommending this place to our friends & family. Thank you guys.

Everest Inn is such a breath of fresh air in comparison to other South Asian restaurants and takeaways in the area. The quality is excellent and the food is always fresh. We had a number of takeaways during the pandemic, but finally got a sit-down dinner and the experience was even better. The lamb shank is incredible - so tender, it just slides off! And the momos were perfect as always (top tip: get a portion for yourself!) And the staff are so attentive and friendly. They're always around to make sure we're comfortable and even during takeaways, they're very prompt. Sadly, our first sit-down at the restaurant was our last as Blackheath residents but we would happily keep coming back to try out all the things on the menu than go anywhere else.

AMAZING Outstanding , in both food and service. Attended 20th October as a group of 7 for an annual reunion meet-up. The service was brilliant and the food was simply amazing! Nepalese cuisine is certainly outstanding in every aspect. The Old Durbar (Nepalese) whiskey went down an absolute treat. Highly recommended and we will be using again. The staff were on point, attentive and couldn’t do enough for you. Thank you immensely. PS - Blackheath is a beautiful village.

Good food. Meat/chicken are halal based on info by the staff. Had mixed non-veg starters, chili lime prawns were excellent. Had salmon for the main course - could've been seasoned better. Service is slow and that may be because all dishes are made fresh to order? All in all a good dine-out place. Tip- go after 7 pm to find plenty of parking nearby..went on weekdays

Absolutely loved this place. Make sure to get the momo dumplings and don’t shy away from the Nepalese egg curry. Sounds strange but it’s REALLY good!

My curry was not spicy at all, I explicitly asked for it to be vindaloo hot and it was mild. Good service and kind waiters.

Had a lovely Xmas lunch here today. Great food but it was freezing cold sitting inside the restaurant- hence only 4 stars. This is because they kept the entrance doors wide open through the meal - because they decided to seat two extra tables of people seated outside on the pavement. Not fair for people seated inside because of the constant cold breeze/ wind coming in. My husband was freezing while eating and has now developed a chill. Polite suggestion for the owner: Please do not expect people to put up with being very cold as they eat by keeping the entrance door constantly wide open - this spoils the occasion even if you are getting a few extra pounds in the till!!

Absolutely amazing. The Lake Fish special is something you almost never see on a Nepalese or Indian menu. Imagine the best battered fish you've ever had, with flaky, perfectly cooked white fish. Perfectly, delicately spiced and accompanied with a light cloud of egg fried rice. No oil or grease in sight. Just flavors of the Himalaya. And the carrot pappadom chutney with mustard is like a small hit of horseradish and carrot crunch. Wonderful house white wine Boules was a perfect match. It's a 6 out of 5.

We had never been here before, however will most definitely will be returning. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was perfect. Manish, Bharat and their colleagues were very attentive, made some recommendation taking into account what we normally like (but also the desire to try something different). 100% recommend. It’s lovely to see (from the displayed certificates) they have also won so many awards for not only their food but also their excellent work within the community.

Went here with my wife and another couple on a Saturday evening. Food, drink and service was great. Really couldn’t fault anything. In particular, other restaurants should take note of the service at Everest if they ever do some benchmarking. This is the sort of service you should be giving. Never had to ask them to come over or wait to order something else. Great stuff and will go again.

We conducted a small gathering here with about 70 odd people coming in. It was a good idea. Food was absolutely good. Staff lovely.

This is a nice and cozy restaurant where we went during our short stay in Blackheath . The area is quiet during evening hours so it was perfect sitting outside and having a delicious dinner at the Everest. The food is freshly prepared, we came back from the city centre and were so hungry, we found the perfect spot, as the portions are generous. The staff was very friendly , we had a really nice evening.

Had dinner for 2 on a busy Friday evening but we still received great service and the food was wonderful as usual. We have dined here several times and also ordered takeaways and the we have always had a consistent experience. This is one of my favourite places in Blackheath

Sublime, utterly fantastic. A taste of Nepal, from the streets of Blackheath - via the avenue of incredible service. We had such a fantastic evening, the service and hospitality was warm. The food was next level, some of the nicest curry we have ever had. We will certainly be coming back and I encourage you to do the same. 5 stars

I have Visited this restaurant twice in recent weeks after some time given it’s the other side of London for me to travel, but what is so special is that the owner and team continue to produce not just excellent food but a whole delightful gastronomic experience. The service is friendly and courteous but more importantly, genuine, the restaurant is cosy and comfortable and the food is consistently exquisite. I just wish I lived closer so I could enjoy this excellent restaurant more often!!

We had Christmas lunch at the Everest Inn and it was excellent. The menu was amazing, with some traditional dishes such as turkey fused with spices and given the restaurant’s own special twist. The service, as always, was exceptional. Thank you for a very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon.

Very tasty food. Quantity isn't piled high on your plate but the quality and taste is good ( I didn't leave hungry). Could be a little more attentive on service, I requested more condiments..which never came, so asked someone else again, which then came immediately . I would certainly recommend and return again.

Great Indian food and friendly servers! We had the chicken tikka masala and a few vegetarian sides. Delish! Also really appreciate that they list their allergens as I’m gluten free. Makes a huge difference and I felt safe eating here.

My visit was very spontaneous, but was the best decision I made. By far the best nepalese/Indian restaurant I've been to in London, and funny enough this cuisine usually is my least favourite; but today changed my viewpoint indefinitely and I most certainly will be returning back with my family in two weeks. I recommend having the Lakeside Fish for your starters, mind blowing flavours upon the first bite the marinade really took me by surprise. For the main I had the Everest Lamb Shank. If you are smart you will consider trying this dish because the way it left me sitting in a confused trance of satisfaction afterwards is hard to explain in words. The dominate flavours of the spices along with the tenderness of the lamb!.. was something only a skilled chef could pull off. And to top off the evening, a lovely whisky infused cocktail. Overall 5 star service!

Second time eating here, the staff are lovely, friendly and great service. The food is also very nice and lots for vegetarians to choose from. Wine selection also very good. We also walked in without a booking and they were quick to accommodate. Will be back again soon 😊

Absolutely loved this place! Food was so so good, perfect portion sizes. Service was some of the best I have experienced, all of the staff were really lovely and clearly make an effort with all old and new customers. Cocktails also great. Its not local to us but we will 100% be back again. (Visited 3.9.21)

Editing my rating from last year to describe in a review what an absolute gem this restaurant is. As a Nepali who moved here fairly recently, bringing friends here to introduce them to the food of my country, has been a delight. Every dish, every cocktail that they serve makes me so proud. Fills my heart with so much joy and nostalgia every time I come to this place. Also, ‘lime poleko prawns’ is admittedly my favourite food/dish EVER!

Such a shame to share a negative review, however I dined here on New Year’s Eve with my partner and the food was very poor quality! The service and staff were all very professional and friendly and atmosphere was nice. I have eaten here in the past and always enjoyed the food, but this most recent visit was very disappointing! I’ve had better elsewhere for a lot less money! The food was tasteless and meat not seasoned throughly, the rice tasted microwaved and the potatoes were hard! I will not waste money here again. £130 for two and left hungry.

Love this Nepalese food 😋 great cocktails, best we've ever tried, love "The Smokey Himalayas" and The Jiri gin cocktail with a brilliant lime twist. Love the lamb shank main, just fantastic. Like the desserts, well presented. Would recommend this place! We'll be back! Baby friendly with high chairs and high capacity venue too!
