The Crown is a delightful pub in the heart of historic Blackheath. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a good range of wines and beers. When I visit, I usually get a table but it does sometimes get busy. It has plenty of tables outside for when the weather is sunny and there is a quieter area upstairs where you can eat, sample some of their wines or hire it out for your own event. Well worth a visit.

Amazing local pub with nice range of on tap beers and cozy atmosphere. The manager is very attentive and always polite. Loaded chips are absolute favourite!

Place that serves a nice selection of Beer 🍺 Always here for a few pints after work to ease off the mind to relax. Sometimes it's crowdy and have a very unique buzzing crowd partying and sometimes it's quiet and peaceful don't mind either. Nonetheless nice outdoor area facing towards the greenery of Blackheath Village and inside there's a plenty of tables. Never had their food here so can't comment much about it. Great vibes and staff are always friendly.

Sadly didn’t get any pictures but went to 4 pubs in Blackheath and enjoyed this most. Went with friends? Had a family vibe, good priced and friendly staff. Clean toilets and nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if you want not extortionate prices and a friendly atmosphere! Noticed they do a comedy night Wednesday, might have to pop in!

I order a Beef Burger with Cheddar Cheese and chips for my son and got a dry burger patty with no cheese on. I asked a member of Staff and they was so friendly to add some cheese. For myself I orderd a Roasted Cicken, sun-dried tomato parmesan cheese sauce, Roasted herb potato, green beans wilted spinach and chanteney carrots and I got a cooked chicken breast with cooked potato and a sauce and some green beans. Staff is very friendly, kitchen don't meet the description of the menu. Atmosphere is nice. I was there with my two kids. Kids friendly environment.

The Crown in blackheath is a good pub with friendly staff. The Sunday roast Chicken roast dinner is ok. But the chicken is under seasoning and the vegetables overcooked 7.5 out of 10

10/10. Booked a table at another pub but left because the service was so bad. Walked a few steps and found the crown - can’t wait to come back. Top food and top service. Really great pub and really well priced.

Lovely little pub, and the owner is always really welcoming and has funny stories for guests. He makes great wine recommendations too.

Had a great catch-up with a friend, in this former coaching inn. Shepherd Neame pub, so beer half-decent. Although they can't make coffee for toffee, but given it's a pub, I will let them off.

This was our first time earing here, family of 6 and sadly we will not be returning. We waited 1hr 25 mins for our food. We did get 3 free cokes, a wine and an apple juice free for the wait being so long and also to be fair it was really busy due to race for life and beautiful weather. The food though was not food. We ordered two kids cheeseburger meals, each only with half a hamburger and a sprinkle of cheese. How can you only put in half a hamburger? The fishfinger sandwich contained two fishfingers and at £10, this is a bit of a joke. The kid’s macaroni cheese was dry and bland. Im not sure if we were served these dishes on purpose because we complained about the length of time but thats a shame becausethe actual pub is nice and cool with lots of space. Given the quality and portion size of the food though we will never return.

Thoroughly enjoyed it the karaoke night was very very good would definitely go back for that. The beers are cold the service is great, and you get a decent pint. There's a really good one called neck oil.

Just a nice local pub with a nice atmosphere. The drinks aren’t too pricey and the staff are extremely friendly. They sometimes have live music on which is a great little touch.

First visit to The Crown to meet friends for a Christmas meetup. Although it was busy, the staff were cheerful and helpful and the service excellent. Good food and drinks, so a very pleasant afternoon. The pub is dog friendly, which was a lovely surprise, chatting to a couple with Cockerpoo on the adjacent table. I am looking forward to a return visit.

Went in for the Sunday roast a couple of weeks ago. Ordered the beef roast and I have never been more disappointed in my life. Sounds like an exaggeration but I promise it’s not. The beef was cold and chewy, the Yorkshire pudding was flattened to oblivion and the gravy was basically brown toilet water. It looked like a leftover roast from 3 days ago that had been cling filmed flat in the fridge before being microwaved. I sent it back as soon as I had a taste of the beef. Absolutely vile. The only reason I’m giving them 2 stars instead of -5 is because I quite liked the fish and chips (I had already paid after all!) and they were actually quite good. Fresh fish and nice chips. Don’t go here for a roast. Staff were also dead on the inside and walked around like zombies. They didn’t apologise and quite frankly seemed fed up with their life…. I would be too if I worked there to be fair.

Food here was very nice and hot when served. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I've taken point off as food was rather slow, which is a shame as otherwise we were very happy.

Nice cool drink at the front of this nice pub in Blackheath while the girls did the 2022 Race for life.

Asked for a gluten free beer as I have celiacs disease, was given one, and after taking a few sips I realised it was not a gluten free beer. After informing the young lady working the bar she was apologetic, however the older man, who I’m assuming is the manager showed absolutely no concern, he was far more concerned about the refund and stated “well it’s not alright, that just cost us £4.95”. I was extremely unimpressed with his poor attitude and service. The other employees were nice, and the food looked good, although apart from the chips there weren’t any other clearly gluten free options.

The Crown in Blackheath is where the esteemed gentleman will enjoy his beverage. The place is laden with history and the women sip the finest wines until their cheeks go rosy. There are some women who have rosy cheeks all year round but we don't need to name names. The staff are the finest you could find and its a tip of the cap to the recruitment team that they have hand chosen the brightest and most enthusiastic of staff for their team. They just deliver on every front. The managers are perfect gentlemen and have a personal touch which makes you want to go back time and time again. Perfect establishment.

Was seated outside and just left there. 4 lots of people whom came in after where served before us in terms of order taken drinks and food. After 30 minutes of just sitting there with no service we just left.very disappointed

Watched England beat Denmark in the 2020 Euros semi finals, terrific atmosphere and excellent choice of ales, going back to watch the final between England and Italy, will be great whatever the outcome, outside seated dining area overlooking Blackheath village and the open space of Blackheath itself.

Love this pub and hold it dear to me as my wife and I went here on our first date. Great staff and atmosphere. Only downside for me is the lack of ale selection but can't fault it otherwise.

Walked in and straight up to a smiley barman - got what I wanted and a table in the window for the start of a celebration lunch with friends. Plenty of space and great atmosphere! If you need to whet your whistle then pop into the crown! Cheers!
