Attended due to a open house event. Very glad we stopped and took a look-see. Great facilities, toilets, bar and food, not forgetting to mention the most amazing structure, erected in the river (the clubhouse).

GYC was the perfect venue for my pre-wedding party. Karolina and Will were both excellent to work with. They responded promptly to my many questions (and with lots of patience), seeking to accommodate various requests. Karolina is clearly really experienced and gave lots of helpful advice. We loved the outdoor space for the drinks reception and seeing the views across the Thames, especially as the sun went down. It was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Would definitely recommend.

What a wonderfully funky space and visited on a truly halcyon day. I can only salivate that this is the start of things to come. Great area to clear headspace in general.

Lovely relaxing place with an ecological center nearby. I had a stroll along the banks of the river Thames and it was wonderful. Greenwich so full of history.

I'm sure that the venue is lovely but I tried to book a viewing and the communication was really bad with the venue host. There were some times days in between replies, and a bad miscommunication that led me to turn up to the venue believing i had a viewing and not being able to contact anyone, not by email, the venue hosting website or by phone. Overall a bit disappointing.

Beautiful venue for my friend's wedding. Great spot by the river with a separate building on the river with stunning views day & night! Wonderful way to celebrate their journey into married life!

I was here but not to use ,I was fishing , great spot ,super friendly people, and a great view of the Thames, take a walk or a ride im sure you will enjoy it

We just wanted to get in touch to say a huge thank you to the GYC team for making our wedding day a success. Every person that we spoke with at GYC has been so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the entire process. As soon as we stepped out of our ceremony, GYC was ready and waiting with a well earned glass of Aperol Spritz! Our wedding guests all commented on how brilliant the venue staff were too, so it really does show how important it is! We were also so impressed by Relish, one of their recommended caterers, and really glad we chose them to cater for our wedding.

I visited the Greenwich Yacht Club over the weekend and was thrilled to see a boat used by an Olympic champion (Ben Ainslie if I recall correctly). It's fascinating to discover that in Britain, you don't need a license or qualification to sail. The club's bar is a gem, often chosen for birthday celebrations and wedding ceremonies. Highly recommend!

We held an event here for 60ish people. Mixed group of professionals from 9 till 6. We wanted a fixed set up for the start, with the flexibility to adjust as we needed throughout the day. Along with this, we had 4 breakout spaces, including the terrace. Being by the river is great, and there are other places that can offer that, but what sets Greenwich Yacht Club apart from the others is.. 1. The venue itself is great. Lots of wood and glass, different spaces, sofas, bar, kitchen, terrace etc... 2. Now this really is the reason why we will continue to hold events here. The events team are excellent. Not patronising, not dismissive, not trying to add to the bill at every opportunity. W helped us with everything up until set up and then G took over. They were accommodating to all our requests, suggested adjustments, worked not only within our budget but helped us reduce cost. I never had any issue reaching them via email or phone...really I could go on. This team, this venue...so much better than other places I've used in London. Thank you GYC
