I volunteered here regularly for a while and I learned so much. Who would have thought that there is so much green space hiding in Catford?! At first, I was nervous. I realised that I was the youngest person there and I was the only black person (initially). But let me tell you, these people are so beautiful inside and outside. They did not judge me and simply treated me with such love and respect that I could only have hoped to encounter there. Maria (the owner) has one of the most beautiful souls I have ever seen in my life. I really hope to return when I have more time in my schedule. If you have the time, please consider stopping by and volunteering at this wonderful organisation. There is so much to do so you can never feel bored. Seeing plants grow from seeds is such a heart warming event. It pains me to see this place so frequently become vandalised by bored young teens. They destroyed many of my seedlings and I grieved for them. Previous time that would’ve been spent on the wildlife, has to be reassigned to damage control. Seriously, protect this wildlife, and it’s people, at all costs. I will be back Maria!!!

I will turn the place into a paint balling at some hours. The potential it has is just great. But we love the art and creative aspects of the place. Really nice! It could be dangerous if children are not well behave as there are many rusty parts and some window glasses on the floor. But will highly recommended. Excellent place!

A fantastic free green space a few hundred metres from the South Circular Road. Booking essential for all events and volunteering sessions.

I can imagine not everyone would give this 5 stars but this project to upcycle some south London wasteground is inspiring and the people I met there were lovely

A fantastic wild space. Activities are run all year round for people of all ages. These include craft, cookery, and gardening. I feel I am getting away from it all when I go here.

This is such a beautiful place, smack bang in the middle of Catford; there is lots to do here! There are bees, plum, apple and pear trees. I was there helping to clear a space for an outdoor kitchen! And cut a path to the plum tree so it can be pruned! They have volunteer days so if you've got some spare time go along, and help out at this natural habitat. You can take children there on volunteer days!

Went to an outside meeting here. Cooked our own lunch on the fire. Great afternoon. Magical! For meetings you have to book

What an amazing place. So peaceful and so loved by the coordinator and the volunteers. They work so hard to make it a safe and usable space for all. Thank you all.
