😠 Very poor quality food. Frozen chips and frozen fish, both were yuk! I will never go there again, ever. Two fish and chips and one supermarket brand diet cola £19! Not worth £5.....disgusting food. 🤮 People often mention chips, fish,

A family owned restaurant. The price of the food is inexpensive compared to restaurants and pubs around Green Village. My friends (three of us) and I had the pies which taste delicious. Also the server is friendly who asked about our personal lives to find out who we are. The decor is old fashioned, but soft and sweet.

Funny place. It feels like you are on a low budget movie set. Family owned place, but no love... cheap food. Super market canned food, im scared to think about the kitchen. Been here one time. Never again.

Nice and quiet restaurant. We had paid exactly what we ordered. Not like previous review saying otherwise. They accept cards and it's contactless too. My kids loved the food. I think £5 for kids meal including full glass of juice and 1 scoop of ice cream is very good. I gave 4 stars instead of 5, only because the fish was not freshly battered. Our chips were nice and golden colour. The man who works there is very friendly It's not Hilton type restaurant so don't expect fancy food. It's more of pub food. But not bad.

A dated atmosphere is found and the owner seems bored with his life showing as much enthusiasm as a revived corpse. Fish and chips was worse than I made my self as an impoverished student - the chips and the fish and the peas were clearly all from a frozen packet and probably the worst I’ve ever been served - if I was offered money to eat here I would decline - a little further down the road is a good fish and chip shop - save yourself my food pain and go there instead.

I recommend that you DO NOT EAT HERE. As you walk by this place you may wonder why it is empty; wonder no more. As someone else already said their specials are misleading. After some mediocre service and a decent meal it was my partner's turn to pay the bill. As soon as she was at the till the pair of elderly gentlemen that work there simultaneously asked us where we were from separating us and drawing our attention elsewhere. The patron underhandedly removed the receipt and shoved the Visa bill to my partner to sign. We didn't think anything of it at the time but by the time we got on the DLR we realized that we had been ripped off for just over £4. Admittedly it was our fault for not being more vigilant and not a significant of money but why would you want to eat at an establishment that practices such... pedestrian tactics.

I had lunch here when visiting Greenwich. This place is simple and fuss free, good if you want to have a quick decent meal. Food is not fantastic and do not expect freshly cooked meal, I would think the lunch specials were just heated up from a microwave. However the service was decent and friendly enough.

This is a place to avoid. The service is slow and.. let's say "neutral" - neither friendly nor unfriendly. But the specials are horrible - I had roast beef which was without any taste, a horrible gravy and over-cooked vegetables, that were obviously heartened up in a microwave. The "roasted potatoes" were fried potatoes, probably from the day before, and also heartened up. My wife had turkey which was of the same quality. This is a tourist trap, people came in all the time for lunch and the owner obviously knew, that people will probably never come again. So why taking the effort and cook something decent?

A friendly owner but he uses old school tricks that cost you money as a diner. You ask for just water with your meal and expensive mineral water is served. There is a service charge surreptitiously added. And for a restaurant that sells itself on specialising in fish and chips, it's unacceptable to serve chewy breaded cod from the freezer rather than fresh battered. But I suppose the profits are greater that way. Depressing as I have just started work nearby and I could easily have become a regular had I not felt so ripped off. Won't be coming back.
