Excellent store! Lots of different product, awesome meat and live fish 🐟🐄 this is where I get my 🍤 if you love to try new foods, this is the place. 80% Chinese, but also other Japanese and asian products. If you like to buy in bulk these guys have a B2b warehouse section too. Worth a look. 💪

Easy to find. Ample parking on a Wednesday daytime. Great selection and great prices. Lots of Chinese, Thai and Japanese options. Meat and seafood deli inside too. Vegetable selection is low but it's fine since they stock vegetables.not readily available in a usual supermarket. There's also a section for cookware so this store fulfills all my needs. Overall a great experience.

Huge supermarket with a warehouse attached. Has everything Chinese and exotic. And even some top wines such as Penfold 407 at a bargain price. The warehouse was massive and had loads and loads and all types of food containers which is what we were looking for. Loads of checkout tills and plenty of helpful staff on hand to help. Well lit Parking out front and underground.

Once you see the tiled and sweeping roof of this Chinese Pagoda style building you'll just simply know you are at the greatest Chinese and South East Asian Supermarket in the whole of Great Britain in my opinion. They have an enormous stock of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai food and products as well as a cafe and restaurant for Dim Sum and regular meals. Can get very busy and the parking can be crowded. I think the staff are always helpful and pleasant but they get frustrated and tired like anyone else in a busy place. You can spend hours here. Give it a try.

This place is a little smaller than Purley but I think the setup is better like this. The tables aren't as close and the restaurant is not so overwhelming. The food is pretty much the same story, some dim sum is good, some average. The main dishes are ok too, they're nothing to complain about really. Cricklewood and Purley are miles better than anything Gerrard Street has to offer these days. Price is ok but with dim sum it can always mount up. Service is good in comparison to other Chinese restaurants but those who know will know not to expect friendly attitudes much. The shop is attached to the restaurant and so is convenient. The usual stuff available here, fresh and dry but do be careful to check the expiry dates on what you buy.

Great store! Massive variety of items at decent prices, only downside is the large prices you see on shelves are ex vat, the full price is on there but much smaller. Only other thing is the location, it’s a little inconvenient to reach on foot

Good selection of oriental food and fresh seafood. Bubble tea is new and has a good selection of flavours, however always out of stock. Restaurant next door to wing yip.

Great place if you are lover of Asian food. Big choice of frozen seafood and other like buns, samosas, pork, beef etc… obviously prices are more affordable than in a other supermarkets. We went just before Christmas and some products were sold out, which was a bit disappointing, hence giving 4⭐️ Car park is on a private land, so be aware and do not park. We parked just across the road in the decathlon parking (free)

This store is good and has a lot of options to pick and most of the time it will have what I need, but I hope it has more options for vegetarians. There was a lovely shop assistant there who was helpful.

Regular customer at the supermarket. Usually a good experience despite being overpriced in comparison to a lot of other Asian marts (especially the ones in soho, surprisingly). Sadly brought home a coconut spread opened it and it was filled with mold!! Despite expiration date saying 2024. I won’t post a picture to save everyone from the displeasure lol

They now have much less isles and much less varieties, simply selling lower grade stuff at higher prices. The restaurant is always packed but we've noticed the dim sums are much more expensive, portions are much smaller and less tasty , and service charges added straightaway ( hardly get any ). Will spend less there and avoid the restaurant.

Lived in China for nearly 20 years, love this place! It has everything you could need

This place is pretty good and prices are at least 20% cheaper than central London. Food is good, service is fast but go there on a weekend and expect it to be busy. Grab a ticket and may be wait 20-30mins but table turn around is fast. If you can get there when the doors open or within the hour of it opening then you'll be fine, otherwise head there mid-afternoon when everyone else have filled their bellies. Decor-wise don't expect a swanky look, the place has been around for a while, just go there with the expectation of good food and good prices. Added benefit is the Chinese supermarket next door as they are part of the same establishment.

Nice food in the restaurant and next to the supermarket. Easy to find and quick to get to from outside London. It was extremely busy when we went bit it was close to Christmas so not sure if it's quieter at other times.

Very good place to get Chinese ingredients, with a decent choice of other Asian (Vietnamese, Japanese) stuffs. Note that you'd better not need to communicate while inside: the place seems to be an excellent Faraday cage, with a very bad WiFi.

Wing yip is well stocked. Found everything I was looking for in terms of oriental groceries. Large warehouse in the back. Great if you own or run a restaurant. The supermarket also has two eat in or takeout restaurants at the front entrance. Disabled access. Free but limited parking.

It suits most of my needs from an Asian supermarket. I get my staple 10kg sushi rice at a decent price every couple of months amongst other things. It's great that there are now new fridge freezers in. There's a good range, but based on other smaller Asian supermarkets, I think they could certainly introduce a little more variety with the space they have.

Love this place. Been here forever and still going strong. Well worth a visit for the home cook or professional. There's a bubble tea place that serves excellent bubble tea. We got brown sugar caramel and matcha

A great place to buy your Asian groceries. The shelves are always full and the shop is super clean. Other supermarkets can take not on how much pride Wing Yip takes into their stores.

A Fantastic day out! Lovely food from the cafe, lots of interesting ingredients for a foodie like myself. On top of that, there were some good deals to be had which I have never seen in other shops.
