Lord's - the home of cricket. A must visit for a Cricket fans who are in London. High class stadium, well maintained and a neat hospitality. The look of the pavilion is awesome. It is an only stadium which allows to carry alcohol inside with lots of food. Though there are many shops around for food and the craft beer. Comfy padded seats, enough legroom space and lots of toilets in and out. Doesn't interrupts view in any stands. Don't miss a museum though it is a smaller one. Overall an awesome feeling.

Visited Lord's for the 1st time last week and absolutely loved it. Staff and stewards friendly, efficient and very helpful. We got off the train at St Johns Wood and there were stewards waiting from the station to guide you to where you needed to be, even stopping the traffic so you could cross the road. Lots of food stalls bars and toilets. A great venue for a day out.

Seeing and taking in the history of cricket played at this venue was one of the best experiences. It is in fact the home of cricket. Your brain and intellect become engaged as you walk through the changing rooms and listen to the tour leader explain the history and begin to live in those moments. The Lords tour ought to be on your bucket list if you enjoy cricket. Several pointers for anyone considering a Lords tour. 1. Make your reservations at least one month in advance. You might not be able to purchase last-minute or even one-week-ahead tour tickets. 2. Arrive at the gate prior to the start time. The tour begins and concludes almost exactly on schedule. 3. Don't be afraid to inquire about anything.

Lords Cricket Stadium is the epitome of cricketing elegance and tradition. The iconic venue, nestled in St John's Wood, London, exudes a sense of history that engulfs visitors as soon as they step through its gates. The Pavilion, with its timeless architecture, stands as a testament to the sport's rich heritage. The hallowed turf of the playing field is meticulously maintained, offering a perfect stage for epic cricket battles. The grandstands provide excellent views from almost every angle, ensuring spectators don't miss a moment of the action. The atmosphere during a match is electric, with passionate fans adding to the thrill. The museum within Lords is a treasure trove for cricket enthusiasts, housing an extensive collection of memorabilia, including historic equipment and artifacts. The guided tours offer a fascinating journey through the stadium's past, showcasing its role in shaping the game. However, like any historic venue, there are areas that may show signs of aging. Facilities, while adequate, may not match the modern extravagance of some newer stadiums. Yet, this only adds to the charm for those who appreciate cricket's roots. In conclusion, Lords Cricket Stadium is a cathedral of cricket, where the echoes of legendary moments resonate through time. It may lack some contemporary frills, but its aura and significance make it a must-visit for anyone seeking to connect with the soul of the sport.

The home of cricket. Period. So long as the sun is shining when the cricket is on, you wont be disappointed. Great seating and viewing facilities. Good catering and watering holes around the ground. Don’t forget to bring a bottle of vino or bubbles to this one as it is the only venue of it’s kind in the world that allows this! I will be back for the next round of Ashes here.

It was a dream come true to be able to watch a game at the Home of Cricket. The stadium is pure class! Great blend of history and the present. The hospitality was something else and the seats were very comfortable. Went to go watch the 2019 Cricket World Cup game between Pakistan and South Africa. I was in total awe of the stadium throughout my time there and I still am. A must visit for a Cricket fan. The experience was incredible. Ah, what I wouldn't do watch a game here again!

The tickets are pricey but hey this is like centre court Wimbledon. It is more than just watching cricket. It’s a museum and a place of worship. You get to bring a bottle of wine or 2 beers at a test match. It’s polite and easy to get around. The food is great. You could easily take your wife or other half who might only be mildly interested.

A dream ground to play foe every cricketer and every person tried to be a cricketer or watched the cricket. Iam lucky enough to visit this ground. I felt goosebumps when I saw the prudential trophy (India won this in 1983), original Ashes trophy ⚱️and many more significant trophies and players collections. I felt overwhelmed to sit in the player seats where legends like Ian Botham, Flintoff, Kevin Peterson, Anderson, Sachin, MSD and Ricky ponting used to sit. I saw the Lords Balcony where Ganguly waved his Jersey after Natwest series win. The media center is an excellent one to visit. They charged about 45 pounds and over 1.30 hrs tour. The guide is very good person to explain about the stories behind several greatest events. A must watch for every cricket fan.

First time coming to Lords and both my daughter and myself loved the Hundred final. It's a great stadium, both historic and modern. The seats have plenty of leg room and all offer a fabulous view of the action. We particularly enjoyed the history when walking around and the museum was brilliant - huge thanks to the staff in their for their insights and warmth. There were lots of toilets, food options and free water fountains. Will definitely be back sooner rather than later!

The Home of Cricket. Dream comes true 😵🤞🏻Wow what a thrilling match to be witnessed and Team India win 🔥🐐🙏🏻🌻. Pleased with entire Lord's ground management team and facilities so far all good. They allow take away food and drinks which is good if you carry or Just wish they have some wide option for food as with family when we visit and preferences vegan or vegetarian difficult to find in long day like test match or better to carry take away box along with you.

"The Home of Cricket". I always love going to Lord's to watch the cricket! Amazing ground, with lush green grass and the iconic MCC pavilion! We managed to get entry to the Pavilion and got to see all the members rooms and even saw the odd player taking photos with the public! Unforgettable and cannot wait to go again!

As an Indian cricket fan, visiting Lord’s Cricket Ground was an experience steeped in history and prestige. Being part of a diverse group with an Aussie, three West Indians, a Kiwi, and fellow Indian supporters added to the excitement. The aura of the ‘Home of Cricket’ was palpable, and walking through the Long Room, seeing the Honours Boards, and feeling the presence of cricketing legends was awe-inspiring. The ground’s immaculate condition and the rich tradition it embodies made us feel connected to the greats of the game. The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming, enhancing our experience. While the tour was a unifying journey for cricket lovers from different countries, as an Indian, I felt a profound sense of pride and connection to the sport’s rich history. Lord’s truly is a cricketing pilgrimage that transcends national allegiances.

Comfy padded seats at the home of cricket! Uninterrupted view, enough leg room. Nearest tube station is St. John’s Wood , the queues after a capacity crowd are mental. None of the surrounding roads are closed and can be quite dangerous when leaving the stadium. Plenty of food choices and bars inside the ground

Great ground to watch cricket, staff were very helpful. Good disabled facilities. Just a shame like all places like this food and drink is such a rip off. On the plus side you can bring your own under club rules.

Went for the first ever Hundred's final. It was really fun. Fortunate to see both women and men final. Mu Bucket list checked. Wheelchair accessible entrance, washroom, food, water, beer everything accessible. Both card and cash transactions. Loved the atmosphere. It's a different feeling to see a match in Lord's than anywhere in the world.

Great experience to visit the home of cricket. A privilege to see the history of the game on the walls. First class seats with a great view of the pitch. Toilets spotlessly clean. Plenty of food and drink available. Security checks carried out efficiently by thorough but polite and good natured staff. My first visit was a great experience and surpassed my expectations. Looking forward to returning soon.

Played cricket then it's a dream to experience at least one game at home of the beautiful game. Lord's is a vibe, that we can't express, need to sink in the glory, be a part of the crowd. Have a drink or two, zip and enjoy the sport. Memories from 2 decades back

Went to a wonderful day of Ashes cricket at the home of cricket. What a truly special occasion it is to see England v Australia at Lords. Facilities are fabulous, plenty of foods to suit all tastes and drinks are easy to get at over a dozen bars around the ground. Seats are comfortable and leg space is generous. A truly great place to watch the wonderful game played at its best by the best

Amazing experience. Just so much to soak in for a cricket fan. Highly recommend a match day tour. Even though the pavilions are not accessible the atmosphere of the match at Lords is worth it. The tour guide was a brilliant narrator taking us though some of the historic moments of the game.

It was bucket list item for me seeing England play cricket at Lords and it didn't disapoint at all. Jimmy Anderson and Joe Root's were on top form. Great seats high up in the new Compton Stand. Loo and the bar were just down a few steps - happy days. Refreshments and food there are not as expensive as I was led to believe by others which was a pleasant suprise. And we also got a full day of cricket too.

As always one of the best sports arenas to visit and the Saturday of the test match versus India was the best days cricket I have ever seen there the atmosphere was electric. Thank you to all the staff at the ground for making it so special. I can't wait to return.

I’m not that into cricket (and support Ireland anyway) so being at the ‘home of English cricket’ was interesting. Joined a tour of the pavilion and museum. Good to do once if you ‘re not interested but definitely take a loved one who likes cricket to see what’s on offer. It’s only the history that’s elitist. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Check their website for info.

Went for the ground tour in August this year. It was one of the best experience to see and absorb the cricketing history this Ground has witnessed. Its truly a Home of Cricket. Going through the dressing rooms and the tour guide explaining all the history, your brain and mind gets engaged and starts to living in those moments. If you are a cricket fan then the tour of Lords should be on your list. Few tips if you are planning a tour of Lords. 1. Book well in advance at least 1 month before. You might not get tour tickets last moment or even 1 week prior. 2. Be there at the gate at start time. The tour starts and ends almost precisely on time. 3. Don't shy away of asking questions to tour guide, you will get more and more details and moment you might not be aware of. 4. Video shooting is not allowed during the tour but Photography is allowed. Hopefully this review will help you to plan your Lords tour :).

Great experience. Loved it. It is worth to spend the money for the ticket. A great, must have experience if you are a true cricket fan. Tour group was not much big ( around 10-20 people) and you can ask questions and clarify things.

Undoubtedly one of the best cricket stadiums. A great collection of paintings and photos in the main stand. Worth visiting the players dressing rooms - would surround you with nostagia specially when you stand in one of the balconies :)

Great historic traditional venue. Beer expensive (£7-£8 each) and not allowed to take alcohol in on Hundred match days. £1 refund if you take plastic pint glass back to the bar. Toilets clean and plentiful. Shame not more activities for children

Amazing experience with my family. My children’s first ever sporting event and they enjoyed and participated like pros. I went with my my brother’s family and his very young children enjoyed the game too. Very lively atmosphere with lots to do before the game. Lord’s has variety of food stall plus the added advantage of bringing your own. The security at the entrance are very friendly bunch of people who kept us entertained for a very small delay in opening the gate. I recommend young families to visit Lord’s as it allows children to learn lots of new things and ways people interact. Definitely going again.

Well... 'it's the home of cricket'. History, tradition and ambiance. It's all here. The new Compton stand is impressive but the upper tier is 'miles' from the wicket. Approximately 90 steps to the upper level. Take binoculars: you have been warned.

And it was thrilling. A must visit place of London. 5 Star from me...

Taking a tour through the host, visitors dressing room, balconies, long room, stands and garden - everything together was a memorable experience. On a Saturday morning, I was lucky to have checked the tour availability while I was on the subway toward Lord’s. There were few seats left for 11 am tour, booking on their website on smartphone was smooth and easy (26 Pounds?). I wish there’s a waiting lounge for visitors to use who arrive early (people come from far off places), and they’ve to just stroll outside without any shade or enclosure. I had to wait almost half an hour, and it was quite windy and drizzled for some time. The tour itself is fantastic. You start at the museum (actually you’re let roam on your own till others join in), where one of the guides will join in, have introductions for all, and starts with his stories. Throughout the entire ritual of going through the museum, long room, meeting rooms, stairs, dressing rooms, balconies, one of the side stands and finally the garden - the guide would keep you engaged every moment with stories that you might have already read in cricket books or learnt from those trivia. At the same time, the trip was well-paced to give us enough time to enjoy the feeling of being at Lord’s and take innumerable snaps and selfies. After the trip finishes, you’re let in to the gift shop, which is quite good and has all sorts of items for you to buy for yourself and your friends and family. Memorable experience.

Lords has been known as the Mecca to cricket-lovers. Spectators passion for Cricket can be overwhelming while visiting here as it also hosts a free museum on site. It's worth making the effort to get there early. One must be prepared to walk if planning to reach by train. Plans and directions within the ground makes it easy to find your seat. The seats, like most other stadiums, are not comfortable enough if you sit for several hours. Some people bring cushions, others get up and walk around for time to time. Everything about this place is quite exceptional and visitors from Cricketing Nations to London should plan a visit here.

It's the home of cricket.....period. what more is there to say?? It's currently closed although there is a flurry of activity on the grounds presumably to get it ready for the up and coming games.
