Most of the times this gym is unbearable. Dirty, equipment broken, overcrowded, now there is a consistent number of kids training (under 18) here which is not really ideal. The staff is non existent, twice last week there was a guy screaming loudly and aggressively towards another member and none stopped him. The episodes lasted at least 20 minutes while I was training there. I can’t find any other convenient gym in the area otherwise I will be long gone. I love training, I hate the conditions I have to train.

I have been using The Gym in Ealing for a few years, but I have decided to move on. It was a great gym for years but recently things are going Very wrong. Today was my last day, I counted 18 pieces of equipment broken. In the end i had to abandon my training as a result What is working is dirty, When you go to the locker room you need to search for a locker that locks. Even the water dispenser is broken I understand that there is an upgrade planned but we shouldn't have to put up with the current situation.

I have been going to this gym for several years and it used to be fantastic, but now it has just gone completely downhill... The majority of the machines and equipments are old and faulty, with many treadmills and machines being labelled as "not working". It has even reached the point where one of the benches (used for the chest press) have become part broken, causing the bar to always be slanted when you come to bench. This in itself should be considered a dangerous hazard as it can cause severe issues with stability and result in chest/shoulder injuries. I informed a member about this issue with the bench a few months back, but it seemed to have made no difference. Some of the mens lockers are still broken (an ongoing issue for years) which makes it almost impossible to find a place for your belongings during peak hours of the gym. The only saving grace is the PTs who are always friendly and very polite, and the fact that it is a 24/7 gym. But that's sadly not enough to prevent me from cancelling my membership given how bad the state of this gym has become after all these years.

Okay gym with decent range of equipment. Bathroom cleanliness definitely needs work. Just keep in mind that if you cancel your debit order, they cancel your membership shortly after even though you’ve paid for the full month.

The Gym Group is a scam if you want short term membership. When you join they set up a direct debit. To ensure you don't get charged for the following month you need to cancel it a week before the month ends. But then they cancel your entrance code at the same time, so you cannot get into the gym. Therefore you can only ever get 3 weeks when you pay for a month. I talked to a member of staff and the manager about this at Ealing Gym, thinking it was reasonable and common sense that I could get a month's use when I've paid for a month, but both just said it's in the small print. Poor customer service and misleading marketing.

Great gym nice kind staff good equipment. everyone was really nice and the space is amazing !! however upon going to the gym today my partner had encountered a guy wanting help from the PT “ Marcus Berni “ that he had just had a session with and asked my partner to ask the PT if when he is finished he could come back and help him quickly ,being a member at the gym for nearly 2-3 years never ever had a bad word been mentioned about anyone coming or passing however Marcus decided to turn around to him shouting “ are you going to pay me for it and started shouting at him , my partner said okay mate it’s alright and walked away continuing onto the session he was persistently staring and making him feel uncomfortable from across the bench he finished with the weights as my partner goes to take the bench he goes what are u doing are you blind as if to say he was still using it and intimidating him … my partner left it to which Marcus proceeded to sit on his phone and not do a work out . The entire experience was strange as he had been sure the Pt would have been more professional calm and less aggressive this is a bad way to respect the gym and all it’s for and it’s not what a gym is about . I hope that there is something seriously done about the way Marcus treats his clients or anyone in general .

Going to start off by saying the only reason I go here is for convenience, price and 24hrs Been going here for years and the equipment etc is good for the most part. The only downside is a no parking for people that drive they like to tell you there is but it's on another road and it's free to park after 6pm, i think, sorry that aint good enough. Secondly the lockers in the men's changing room are a mess mostly unable to close most of them at all, the ones in good condition when busy are taken leaving you thinking what to do with your belongings. The gym sort it out!!!! your making millions a year so less lavish living and more reinvestment for the basics requirements.

Honestly if you want to lose your money and your dignity go to this gym. It is truly horrendous, full of horrible, rude and stinky people who have no consideration for others, it is cheap and simple and the type of people you will find there are very low classes, the bathroom have always a strong smell of urine. you get what you pay for!

Used to be a member here however I just cancelled my membership not because I don’t like the gym overall it’s a good gym in Ealing if you looking for something that’s open 24-7 and has all the equipments join this gym only little criticism I have is gym needs more cleaning in the toilet areas, Staff are all nice and friendly God bless and thanks for the instagram feature guys 👊

There is something wrong with the air conditioning here, it doesn’t help that this gym is vastly overcrowded at peak hours but there is constantly a mouldy smell in the air which causes problems for my asthma, and i can’t breathe while running here, which is not the same as in other gyms!! The gym itself is very quite dirty, equipment all sticky and not been cleaned in years, and 1/3 of the equipment is broken which means even less available at peak hours. Also no one re racks their weights or cleans their equipment after use, i think people have just given up on this gym in general though. Been here for a month but will not be renewing my membership. Yes it’s cheap, but you don’t get what you pay for here…

A lot of decent equipment, but max dumbbell only 40kg? And 4 smith machines yet only 3 squat racks? And where are all the plates? Could only find a handful of 20kgs and they were all different brands. Some cable attachments are very rusty and squeaky as well. Was very hot inside and the AC barley makes a difference. No one puts anything back where it should be and the staff doesn’t seem to clear up until end of day. That being said it’s a decent size and very cheap. You get what you pay for.

VERY POOR!!! Would give 0 if I could!!! One of worst gyms in area. Too small amounts of equipment, machines for amount of people, have to wait every time before use. Every week one of makes gets broken for days, waste of money. Every evening two different music playing max volume. Rubbish gym I have never seen before......

I have been using this gym for the last 2 years and it is brilliant. It is excellent value for money, with an expansive selection of equipment and space. It can get very busy from 5pm to 7pm which is to be expected for the best value for money gym in the area.

I’ve been going to this gym for about 5 years with a few mini breaks in between (S/O covid) and it’s painfully below average. If you’re after a cheap place to go to keep fit at unholy hours such as a red bull fuelled 4am session to forget about her because Joji just dropped a new song then it’s great! However, half of the machines are always out of order or rusted, the toilets are always blocked and smell, the roof is always leaking, the lockers are all busted, and the changing room is occasionally flooded. I’m sure there’s a fair few health violations there but at the end of the day it’s cheap and accessible 2/5

It's fine. It's big and well lit, equipped and proportioned. The visitors just don't seem to know how to tidy up after themselves; the place (especially the free weight bench section) is often a bin; as well as empty water bottles, and towels, just left behind across the machines. A hard line and more staff could really change this place.

I've been a member of the gym for about 2 years. Since it's been renovated, the gym is clean, tidy, and well looked after! The whole team is really helpful, friendly, and caring. Great classes that are always on time. Highly recommended, especially the boxing classes run by Jason, Marcus, and Michael! Also, Ashley and Bartosz are always approachable and ready to address any queries about equipment or other matters. It can get busy sometimes, however the app provides info in terms of capacity, which is very handy.

Unfortunately this gym doesn't cater to people looking to use free weights. The floor is all spongy and they only have small planks of wood to stand on to do your squats/deadlifts. The weight plates are all over the place and it's a mission to find what you need. The changing rooms and showers are nice and clean.

Gym is ok. New machines etc. but never anyone on site. Tried to use a guest pass about 5 times which never worked. Workout partner went inside looking for staff to let me in and the staff said they’re busy personal training… there were about 6 people outside with the same issue. Rude staff didn’t care. Not going there again

Cleaners clean the bottom of the machines with the same rag they clean the handles and screens. Same bucket off water for all the machine basically just spreading dirt and bacteria everywhere. really disgusting and offputting to watch. I have complained before to no avail so had to stop going.

Nice large gym, especially for London as the majority feel cramped and dark, but this is large and bright. Clean gym but can quickly get unorganised thanks to the lazy members who don’t put their weights away. Super cheap for what you get too!

Morning time is the best time to come to the gym. There is always equipment available to use. Jonathan Sentongo is one of the Personal Trainers here, he gave me some good tips in my training regime. If you need a PT I’ll recommend him.

Great amount of space but the equipment is worn, not cared for properly and the toilets are bad. I'm lucky I didn't leave this place with an injury! Changing room area was fine, but all of the equipment made me feel like I was back in the 20th century. Never again.

The place is a mess with weights everywhere! Most cardio machines are pretty old too. I'm comparing this like for like with other gyms which fall part of the gym group so price and opening hours are standard.

Classes are a joke different names for the same type of exercises! They don't respect time, instructor not coming or cancelled class without a warning is quite common. Cancelled after my first month and would definitely not recommend if you are looking for good classes.

Absolutely love this gym. Have been a member from day one. Seen it develop and improve over the years. The staff are amazing, professional but also extremely friendly and welcoming especially the AGM Jules and coach/PT Aakash. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when here even members that train regularly are decent. There’s a good atmosphere there.

Joined this gym a few months ago. Was instantly introduced to staff members and offered support. Although I'm always anxious about using the gym due to the high level of men in the gym compared to women, I've found the classes specifically aimed at women and one trainer in particular (Kacey) to be fantastic. Her classes and sessions have given me the confidence to use almost every piece of equipment in the gym and to laugh when I'm having a session. If you're a woman, and new to this gym then Kacey is the person to speak to. Equipment is fantastic when it's not being dropped. The only negative of this gym is the noise volume. If you are noise sensitive or neurodivergent, the loud music in a class can be really overwhelming. The constant noise of weights being dropped also breaks your concentration at times but that is more the fault of the members than the staff. This gym also has showers which makes it an ever better place to come!

  • 3/5 J .. 2 years ago on Google
Not an amazing gym in my experience, certainly not suitable for beginners as the "induction" is online rather than in person which means it is easy to incorrectly use the equipment and have an injury. But for people using the gym on a semi regular basis I would recommend it for the price and availability of equipment, with the exception of the weights area, which is very rarely free. The toilet and shower facilities are good quality, kept clean and all functioning correctly, however a significant amount of the lockers have been broken, either by prolonged use or from theft, which renders bringing in a bag very hard, especially at peak times. Another thing to be aware of is that at most times throughout the day there aren't any visible staff, there are notices that mention the gym is remotely monitored 24/7 through cameras, but there is no help desk or a easy way to find staff at a given point, in most cases they just have to be nearby, which one of them was when one of the gates didn't admit me in and the staff member logged me in and fixed my problem. Overall, I would not recommend this for anyone new to the gym unless you plan on hiring a personal trainer to show you the ropes, the price is about standard for what you get and the facilities are what you would expect.

The changing room has gone beyond disgusting. Members walk in the showers with their shoes and muddy boots. If I was the manager, I'd put a sign at the showers "Do not enter with shoes" and ban those who do it. In general, while it's understandable the gym is supposed to be "self-running", the managers don't care and that's why they're attracting very low-quality customers and losing the good and loyal ones. The managers must go in and show their faces and just talk to members....

Great hassle free gym with a good variety of equipment and classes. Changing rooms looked clean and spacious when I was shown around by the lovely manager Marcus who was super helpful with answering my questions. No issues on getting onto equipment and throughly enjoyed the friendly atmosphere on my first session. Good value for money and gets the job done. Would recommended!

In general, I do like this gym. I would say 4 out of 5 - would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an affordable and convenient gym in Ealing. However, one of the male staffs WITH BRAIDS makes me feel very uncomfortable today because he keeps “chatting” loudly with one female visitor. He is standing in between 2 treadmill (mine and that female). Their conversation is obviously not related to professional coaching. Gym could be one of the social spots to make “friends” but would be nice to not disturbing other users. Staff should also be professional at work. :) please train your staff.

It is average for a gym, but beware of the treadmills. Most are out of order or not all of the buttons work (some don't seem to have a functioning incline, others don't allow you to easily adjust the speed).

Gym is good, been going here on and off for the past 4 years. Gym is kept clean, very few machines are broken which is great. Only downside is the free weights area. Weights are not put back systematically at all. I've been to a handful of different gyms and this is the only one where the weights are all over the place. The company is to blame here as there are no labelling as to which weight goes where, if they label the weight racks then I'm sure people will start putting the weights back in the right place. I hope by the new year the staff can sort this issue out as this is the only downside to the gym and would realistically only take 1 late night or early morning to sort out.

The Gym is simply amazing. Great equipment, great vibe and truly amazing staff. The manager Marcus (and his assistant manage Ashley) are both extremely friendly, engaging and helpful. The PTs are top drawer. My trainer is Aakash and Shereena is awesome too. I cannot speak highly enough of my Personal Trainer - Aakash. I have been training with him for over 2 years and he is simply awesome! He has been instrumental in transforming my physique, physical health and general well being. He is “Simply the Best”. Get a membership at the Gym. It’s the best one in West London!
