My husband and I visited first Mr Richard Gullen, then Mr Chris Chandler who will carry out the brain surgery that is required. I cannot speak highly enough of both these experts. The information we were given was clear and concise helping us to understand the brain condition and the options there are for treatment, and to be aware of the situation without the treatment. Above all there was much kindness, humanity and support which was so appreciated when you feel vulnerable as the patient, or their partner, at such a difficult time. We are willingly putting ourselves in these experts hands with total trust, knowing they will care completely and operate with the greatest skill and experience you could ever find.

From the prep pack to departure this was an amazing experience for me and my family with friends! The experience meant that myself and all could put all our attention the complex yet incredible operation and post treatment. Mr Chandler as our consultant, and the whole team were fantastic!

I feel I need more stars to be able to rate accordingly! Chris Chandler has provided me with fantastic treatment and support over the last 6 months. His expert knowledge has been invaluable when past medical records could not be found, and his calming and friendly, but to-the-point, manner have helped me through a very difficult time. Chris is an asset to the healthcare profession and I will be looking forward to seeing Chris at my future check-ups.

Long standing, complicated back problem sorted - I felt in good, safe, trusted and experienced hands from first consultation right through to discharge. I feel so fortunate to have been referred to Mr Malik and the whole team there.

I’ve been doing treatment and spine surgeries with Dr Sanj Bassi since 2008 and he is a brilliant, kind, humble and understanding doctor. Mr Sanj Bassi is my favourite doctor and an Angel in disguise for me. His secretary Christine is nice as well. The service at London Neurosurgery Partnership are excellent and quick.

I had chronic sciatica in my right leg for over two years. I was fed up felt hopeless and was suffering with debilitating pain and on a high dose of opiates and Morphine. I couldnt wait for surgery on the NHS so decided to take my health into my own hands and research the best surgeons. I spoke to an orthopaedic surgeon and a neurosurgeon but was still anxious about surgery. I finally met Mr Malik and instantly knew I was in good hands. His professionalism, expertise and integrity is first class. He answered my questions and concerns and genuinely cares and wants the best for his patients. My surgery was performed within two weeks, and as soon as I could stand up my leg pain had disappeared! I am now three weeks post op and feel great. I am off all the painkillers, can walk, sit and sleep comfortably. I am no longer suffering thanks to Mr Malik and feel so positive about the future! I am so glad I chose him; I would recommend him hands down to anyone. Additionally, thank you to Mr Malik’s secretary Zobia and the nurses and staff at Harley Street Clinic for looking after me.

We saw Mr Bassi today as my daughter has been having headaches for many years, we chose him because he has a special interest in Chiari Malfunction. Mr Bassi is very friendly and has a caring manner, he took time to explain our daughters MRI results in a way that we could understand. We feel confident she’s in good hands and now understand our daughters condition. I would highly recommend him.

I was referred to see Mr Malik after it was discovered I had a nerve sheath tumour on my spine. From the initial assessment through to the post-surgery follow up Mr Malik was professional and immensely knowledgeable with explaining the procedure and answering any questions I had. His confidence and humour immediately put me at ease about the operation and my recovery is proceeding as well as I could have expected. Mr Malik is clearly a very highly skilled specialist and gave me a great level of care along with everyone at the Harley Street Clinic who were exceptional. Thank you to everyone.

I will always be grateful for choosing this clinic and the amazing neurosurgeon Dr Sanj Bassi. At my first consultation his reassurance, kindness and explanation of my urgent lumbar laminectomy, due to Cauda Equina Syndrome, completely put my mind at rest, and due to his expertise and that of his team, my surgery and recovery was a complete success, and has turned my life around, after being in pain for so long, I now walk without pain, and a big smile on my face, I couldn’t be happier.

I was seen by Mr Malik for a reherniated L5/S1 disc. Following a caudal epidural injection and changes to my exercise regime I am now largely symptomless and am unlikely to need surgery.

Dr Malik was such a big and excellent help to my father! He arranged everything so quickly and really showed his worry and dedication to us; we’ve never been so well attended by anyone until we met Dr Malik, we will be eternally grateful.

Mr Malik was the neurosurgeon that oversaw my condition. He was very attentive, although the condition was crucial at some point, he projected calmness and positivity and hope and even after the mass was not seen in the last MRI, he prompted me to have one more MRI after 6 months to make sure everything’s back to normal. I would definitely recommend this doctor for any significant spinal challenges.

Mr Bassi has been incredibly patient and thorough in helping me through my diagnosis of Chiari with a Syrinx following surgery elsewhere. His manner is approachable and friendly and always open to answering questions in detail.

Mr. Malik and doctors team, knowledgeable nurses, all members of Harley Street Clinic are fantastic. I was so well looked after without any worry at both pre- operation and post- operation. Very clear instruction and efficient.

I went to see Dr Bassi after struggling with back pain for many years. Previously I’ve been seen by my GP and then being referred to a consultant who said he could do nothing for me and was totally dismissive. Dr Bassi however listened to my concerns, examined me and most importantly said there is something that could be done to help. Finally, we have a plan going forward and I’m looking forward to hopefully being relieved of my pain. I want to say thank you to Dr Bassi and I would highly recommend him to anyone in a similar situation.

Dr Barazi is a genuinely wonderful and humble human being. I had severe facial pain after suffering with a bad burnout. I’d had pain for six months and was quite desperate as the pain cycle was exhausting. It was like speaking to caring friend. He talked me through everything, gave me piece of mind, recommended the rights scans and communicated with me the whole way through until we were happy to close off with a proposed solution and narrowing a complex diagnosis. I have been very unwell for the last couple of years, however since dealing with MR Banghoo and his team I can honesty say a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I have the best team looking after me without a doubt. I would not consider dealing with anyone else other than the London Neurosurgery partnership and recommend them massively to anyone who would listen.

My appointment has been cancelled (unforeseen circumstances) less that 24h before the agreed date/time. I felt really disappointed and frustrated. But Miss Mary intervention was totally amazing: she found me another surgeon for the same day! She was utterly kind, professional, helpful and reassuring. The surgeon change turned out to be for the better: that’s how I met Mr Barazi. He immediately put me at ease and was absolutely courteous, elucidative and accurate. I will soon have an operation with him.

Professor Ashkan is Incredibly professional and knowledgable. He explained my diagnosis and next steps in way I was able to understood. I felt, and continue to feel supported by him.

My first time visiting and I was put at ease straight away. My MRI scan was explained to me very well. All my concerns were very well explained to me. I would definitely be back in the future. Very grateful for putting my mind at ease.

I have known Professor Ashkan for a number of years now. I was under his care for a while and he recently cared for our daughter too. He is the nicest doctor you could ever meet! The clinic facilities are outstanding and the Professor’s assistant is very efficient too which is always a bonus!! Professor Ashkan would always be my first port of call for anything neurological.
