😐 The hotel itself is good. The rooms are spacious and location is fantastic for those seeing shows. The bed was quite hard but I liked the selection of firm/soft pillows. Rooms can be exposed to a bit of street noise, particularly at weekends. The mini toothpaste was a lifesaver as I’d forgotten mine... The hotel itself is good. The rooms are spacious and location is fantastic for those seeing shows. The bed was quite hard but I liked the selection of firm/soft pillows. Rooms can be exposed to a bit of street noise, particularly at weekends. The mini toothpaste was a lifesaver as I’d forgotten mine. The staff are lovely, really helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, trying to check in was a complete nightmare. It took me FIVE attempts to arrive at the correct room 🤦🏼‍♀️ 3 occurred when I was trying to check in around 5.30pm. In the end I gave up as I was running late by this point and simply left my bag with reception. I had no room keys and knew I wouldn’t be back until late. When I returned at 11pm the young guy working very kindly walked with me to the room and checked it. It too was occupied. We tried again. By the time I gained access to an empty room I was quite anxious about someone being given the wrong keys to my room and so slept quite poorly. I was given complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. However, having paid £230 for a room I gained access to 6hrs after I wanted to and 4 fruitless trips from and to reception, a £10 breakfast didn’t really go far enough.

A sophisticated and modern stay. From the moment we arrived we were in awe of the beauty of the building and it's interior design. Situated in a fantastic location it's the ideal hub for a city break. The foyer and breakfast area is fresh and oozes class. There is a real city shique feel and this is the same for the bedrooms. A fabulous marbled shower which was spotlessly clean and plenty of mirror space. A large comfortable bed and plenty of storage makes this place the ideal way to end a busy day in the city. Breakfast is great with a selection of pastries and cooked options, coffee and juice too. The service off the staff from the time we arrived to the minute we checked out was perfect, polite, attentive, friendly and welcoming and we would definitely stay again!

Was looking for a good coffee around Trafalgar, and came across this gem. On two different occasions I dropped by, and ladies at the counter greated us with a big smile and took our order. On both occasions I had their V60 pour overs (Ethiopia and kenya). The presentation was beautiful and the barista absolutely nailed the extraction. Highest recommendation to anyone who appreciates a fine hand poured coffee as opposed to the flat white everyone else seems to order in London (which I can only assume they would nail as well)

I was shocked by the attitude of the staff. This has never happened to me before. When there were other free tables, a man sat down next to me and started talking loudly through the speakerphone without headphones. The waiter who brought me coffee asked me if I wanted to move to another table. I wondered if it would be better to ask that man to use at least headphones in a public place. She said she would be back in a minute. She did not return. When I approached her myself, the waitress said that she was very busy, so she did not come, and then the man left by himself. When I asked why she offered me to change the table and not him, the waitress answered that he was also their client. It didn't answer my question. I did not expect such manifestations of sexism and left there extremely upset and humiliated.

Pro: Good coffee. Good vibe. Con: Average customer experience. I visited the cafe with a friend. Both of us ordered separately. We weren’t asked if we would be dining in or not but we were both served coffee in take out cups. Everyone else in the cafe who ordered in was served in proper cups and saucers. Although that slightly bothered us, we decided to brush it off. However, afterwards when I walked up to the counter to ask for something, the lady who was responsible for handling orders and serving, wasn’t polite. She made me wait for a bit before she even acknowledged me. The other lady (who was making the coffees) was very sweet and had also greeted us originally when we walked in. Overall, both incidents did leave a bad taste which was a shame because we were looking forward to spending more time there and enjoying the vibe. The experience wasn’t bad but it will make me think twice before coming to this place again (even if the coffee is good).

Didn't want to write a review to keep this place a hidden gem only I can enjoy but I guess it's too late now. Amazingly polite staff and a great environment. Just what you look for in a cafe

Always helpful, always welcoming team. The hotel is in middle of everything. Soundproof windows let's you sleep well. Just the deluxe room we stay has no heating system in the bathroom. A bit cold for our nature. Overall experience is great 👍🏻.

Hopped in for a quick coffee boost. Flat white. Arrived quickly and drinkable immediately. Amazing latte art that remained intact after 3 sips 😆

A friend took me there for coffee. The beverage was decent enough, but there were dirty dishes all over the tables and staff had to be asked to clean our table before serving us the coffee.

Mixed on this place - the coffee is good I think esp around here there are mainly chains. But the customer service is always awkward/not very friendly. I had a very small apple danish which was lovely but extremely overpriced for the size

Great coffee! I’ve been here twice now, weeks apart and have had an excellent flat white both times - which as Aussie in London isn’t always easy to find!

Lovely cafe hidden in a hotel, location is very convenient. We ordered breakfast bap (both regular and vegetarian) and both are tasty. Coffee is good too.

Adding another 5 star review to this cafe. It's not cheap so expectations were high. Totally worth it! One of the best coffees I've had in London :)

A really cute cafe which belongs to a hotel. I went there a few times to study as it has a really calm and minimalist environment and ir perfect for focusing. Haven’t tried anything other than croissants and coffee but they are so good!

What made this stay great were the staff. Super friendly, helpful, down to earth. If this hotel can retain its quality of staff and level of service, it will do very well. Rooms are well appointed, bathrooms very nicely designed, comfortable beds, tasteful throughout and of course a great central location.

Really kind service, the place is well decorated, clean and comfortable with soft music, but no hope a lot of places, there is a big table and six little ones. The price is average but a bit lower than most sites in London, 3,4 £ the capuccino for example. They don't make you pay extra for not regular milks, the coffe is really good and smell nice . The best place in this weekend in London, and coffee is the only thing I pay money.

Great coffee and cosy area, right in the heart of London. All the sights of London within walking distance. The coffee shop is part of the Lovely Page8 hotel.

Liked · Page 8 is at a super location - buses right when you exit the hotel, underground train is 2 minutes walk. Its right on Trafalgar square in front of the National Museum - you can't get a better location. This was especially nice since we planned to spend time around Soho / Covent Garden and this meant walking distance. The hotel rooms are spacious, and we found the facilities matching our traveling needs - a large safe fitting laptops, small fridge, toiletries, water, TV. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating on the several times where we approached them. The cleanliness wasn't perfect but it was definitely comfortable. Disliked · We did find several long hairs scattered around some prime locations - near the bed, on the toilet, in the sink, in the shower. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the cleanliness rating, and while it did not disappoint per say, I do think its a point worth improving.

Beautiful building, amazing location, friendly staff. Cleanings inconsistent, leaving me without supplies at times. Fire alarm goes off about every 3 days. For a multi-week stay, you’d think they’d bother to replenish the chips and such. But no.

Came for a coffee meeting and their GM was there to greet us and make us feel welcome. 10/10 service, hospitality and quality of product. Would highly recommend as a place to drop into if you need to meet someone.

Great coffee in an ideal and perfectly central location. Friendly welcoming staff and warm, modern interiors. The cafe is part of the hotel lobby but thankfully doesn’t charge hotel prices!

What a superb hotel with an excellent location just beside Trafalgar Square perfect for exploring, with so many sights within walking distance. The beautifully designed rooms come with everything you could possibly need: sparkling and still water, proper coffee and tea bags with fresh milk, slippers and robes, a Marshall speaker, huge TV and a variety of toiletries, all the usuals plus shaving kit, toothbrush and paste set, comb and vanity kit. they seem to have thought of everything! The staff are amazing, offering the most warm welcome and refreshments on arrival they really couldn't do enough for us and are a real credit to the hotel. I can't thank them enough and will definitely be returning some time soon.

Mila at front desk is amazing: friendly, professional and anticipates guest needs. We really appreciate her warm welcome. I have never written a review for a hotel, but I was compelled this time. Thank you for all your attention to our needs.
