Our experience here last week was OK but not as wonderful as it usually is. I've been to a few Gordon Ramsay restaurants before, including the Bread Street Kitchen location, and we've always had great food and great service, but this time wasn't especially good. There were 3 of us altogether, although my husband ended up being 30 minutes late - my apologies for this! At the same time though, we arrived at 5pm and to start, the service was very good. It wasn't particularly busy on the patio so we decided to sit there. At 5:20, my husband messaged me to say he was close by so I ordered his drink and some appetizers. He arrived just after 5:30 and we still hadn't received the drink, although the appetizers were there. No one came over to even ask if my husband wanted a drink after this and he didn't receive it until almost 5:50. After this, we ordered our mains - the food overall was absolutely fantastic though. Burgers were amazing, pork was delicious and the side mac and cheese was great. My husband ordered "creamy" mashed potatoes on the side though which were very hard and not very nice so that was dissapointing, but management were very good at taking this off the bill so I also can't fault them for that! Our experience is usually amazing at the Ramsay restaurants so it was just slightly off putting at the speed of service this time but the food definitely made up for it.

Wowed by Heddon Street Kitchen! The food was absolutely delicious (they offer a wide range of dishes), and Chris and the team went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic. Loved the cocktails and the overall ambiance. A definite must-try! Heddon Street Kitchen? More like Heaven Street Kitchen!

Attended for networking breakfast. spent the morning on the 2nd floor. I had the granola bowl, a breakfast muffin and their pastries. all very high quality and delicious! Service is good. Expected a little more attention to detail as a few times the servers provided cups to the wrong table. overall a pleasant experience and I would recommend 💯

Located in one of the most popular areas of London I experienced a great dining experience. My server Daria was super knowledgeable and very pleasant throughout our experience. The music and vibes were intimate yet cozy. The drinks were delicious and refreshing. As for the beef Wellington ! I never had one before but I can only hope that all of them will taste as good as this one. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Audrey was fantastic and have great recommendations - I had the tuna tartar with was lovely full of flavour. The butter chicken was a delight but would have liked a little bit of spice added. Mac n cheese had somewhat of s funny taste not sure what the ingredient was but wouldn't recommend the carrots on the other hand were brilliant. Overall recommended and will be coming back for a tomahawk!

The experience at Heddon Street Kitchen was amazing! We ordered the specialty Venison Wellington for Two and it was absolutely perfect. Our waiter, Chris, went above and beyond taking care of us on our first trip to the UK. Can't wait to come back!

The food is good and the dining experience is great, but you must know what are the dishes they are famous for. Your experience may be average if you go for what you like which may not be what they are best at. Beef Wellington is a plus. You will be surprised by its tenderness and flavour. This is a fusion restaurant serving English, Indian and Japanese Cuisine. You may be taken aback and think that it is a jack of all trade restaurant. This restaurant is very good at quite a few dishes. Lidia is one of the kind and helpful attendants.

Overall food was delicious. Seasoned beautifully, in fact, seasoned so well that if you are looking to order the steaks, don't bother with the extra sauce, it's super yummy as it is. Starters were fresh and flavourful. All the sauces were perfect. Burger was very good, great patty, fries were amazing. Service was good and quick. Lovely place to get lunch/dinner after shopping nearby. A great location just around Regent street/Oxford street.

We had Sunday Roast and the food was delicious! What made our visit exceptional though was the fantastic team onsite. Eduardo and Chris were polite, professional and very accommodating! They looked after us and made us feel very welcome. Food and team 10/10! Thank you all!

I had Chris as my server here and he made the night outstanding for us! He was attentive, was knowledgeable of the wine pairings with our meals and had a sense of humor! He added so much positivity to our night and I cannot thank him enough! The food was out of this world! The tamarind spiced chicken wings are a MUST have! The beef Wellington…let’s just say I dreamt of it and woke up wishing I had left overs to enjoy for breakfast again! Now for the dessert, I’d fight my first born child for. The sticky toffee pudding! I hope you enjoy these as much as I did! Thank you again to Chris!

We dined here on 31st October 2023. The atmosphere and decor was very appealing. The service from the outset was brilliant. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The other staff were also chatty. I had the prawn cocktail for starters which was very generous and tasty. My Son has the chicken starter which he said was amazing. For mains I had a salad, my Son the steak, again both were great. Dessert we went chocolate and sticky toffee pudding, these were divine. The bill was around £160 but we ate till we were stuffed and drank what we wanted...the whole experience was worth it. Great quality, generous portions. We would definitely eat here again. Exceeded our already high expectations. Well done!

Came here a couple days before new years all the way from Melbourne Australia to end the year with a nice scrumptious steak. I was not disappointed one bit! It all started from the superb attentive staff especially Chris who looked after us. To the excellent presentation as the food was served. A must do if you’re visiting London and looking for a great steak!

We visited the place to celebrate a family birthday. Famous beef wellington takes 45 minutes as warned in the menu. But I think it was worth, especially considering the portion. Plus, it is something you want if you are Gordon Ramsay‘s fan. We had porterhouse steak, which was great. The service and environment was all great. You can tell that the place is managed by professionals. I would go back anytime.

The atmosphere was great, the vibes were very nice all evening. But most enjoyable thing was the service, Chris pampered us from the beginning until the end. I strongly recommend this restaurant. PS: the food was delicious the best experience I ever had.

After waiting for far too long for service at the restaurant across the street, we sauntered over to the Heddon Street Kitchen and I'm SO glad we did! It was by far the best dining experience we had during a week in London. The restaurant is lovely, the service was very attentive and the food was absolutely delicious!

It was my first trip to London, so we decided to go to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant for the first time to try his famous Beef Wellington. The interior and vibe of the restaurant was modern and nice. However, the waiters were so-so. They will help you, but they respond very curt and I didn’t feel very welcomed. You could say that it’s because it’s busy so they don’t have a lot of time to spend at each table, but they could at least smile and pretend they like working there. You would think that employees at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant would be trained appropriately since they ‘represent’ Gordon. I work at a restaurant myself so I expected more friendliness from the employees. We ordered the tomato soup en chicken wings as starters, since the Beef Wellington would take 45 minutes. I really liked the tomato soup but the chicken wings were okay. The Beef Wellington was worth its price since we got quite a lot, but because of the starters I was already quite full after one slice. The mashed potatoes tasted good as well, but a bit too salty. We also ordered mac and cheese as an extra side, but we were so full, we only ate half of the dish. Overall experience was alright. Maybe I expected too much. If I visit London again I don’t think I would visit again. Maybe I would try a different Gordon restaurant but not Heddon Street Kitchen again.

We had an early dinner following a trip to the theatre. We ordered a starter each- chicken wings and a prawn cocktail- both delicious. For our main we went for the Beef Wellington which is served with mash at £48 per head. We opted for 2 vegetable sides also. There is no denying the beef was very good, beautifully tender but I wouldn't recommend it for that price. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant, we just didn't feel that was good value for money. We left before dessert as nothing took our fancy. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

The food is very good, like expected. The services are very nice to you and polite. The prices are not that high that you would think when you go to a Gordon Ramsey Restaurant. The only thing that you should know is that the Beef Wellington is 50 pounds per person and it’s for 2 persons so you will are going to pay 100 pounds don’t do the mistake that I did and know about the price.

Food is not the most amazing, but still Pretty decent. We had Sunday roast, and I ate the tomato wagyu beef balls. That was actually pretty decent. Service was not the best. Server went to grab more water but did not come back. Great location for meeting up with people and having great conversations.

Xmas catchup with friends form Bath University 30+ years ago. Francisc ran our cocktail making experience downstairs in our own bar. Brilliant cocktails he had us create based on our preferences and his knowledge. He made the event great fun. Highly recommended.

My family loves all things Gordon Ramsey. We were in London from the US and lucky enough to secure a reservation on NYE 2022. It did not disappoint! Ive never had a Gin and Tonic, and the Ramsey’s Gin and Tonic set a high bar. The Salt & Pepper squid was tender and flavorful. The Beef Wellington was EXCELLENT, cooked perfectly, and everything we expected it to be. For dessert we did the ice cream bar…mint chocolate chip was a special for the night and it was amazing. Prompt, courteous, helpful staff. Highly recommended!

When the sun is shining in London (a rare treat) the outdoor seating is where you want to eat at Heddon Street Kitchen. The waiting staff were lovely and friendly and the food was delicious. Their offering for kids is fabulous, my only ask would be to extend the ice cream offering to include chocolate. My dessert was worth the 15 minute and was divine. A firm favourite

We have come for the Beef Wellington experience which we received as a gift voucher from our friend a while ago. The restaurant was buzzing with lively and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were friendly and professional. The whole menu is absolutely exceptional. Large portions and everything delicious. The restaurant had pretty decor all around. Lavatories also showed stylish design, were clean and in a good shape. 100% recommend!

Nice lively restaurant, main courses were not impressive. Pork belly skin was stiff, should be more crispy; also a little smelly, the rare pork smell wasn’t removed properly. My friend who also had pork belly had the same feedback. Crispy duck salad and chicken wings were nice as starter, T-bone steak was a little dry. Also somehow we felt the waitress who served our table was a little angry, maybe because we were running late and my friend waited there for an hour without ordering anything….

It is in a good location, I personally like Gordon Ramsay. I would love to give it a 4 stars, but i am too disappointed with the pork belly which it is not cracking and crispy at all, just taste a piece of pork, nothing special. I do love its Sunday Roast beef, but it does not have enough gravy. Love the roasted vegetables, and its potatoes are crispy done, this is the only one big tick! Price is a little expensive, but consider its location, it is alright, and still within the acceptable range. Its service is good, and love that it is a pets and kids friendly restaurant.

**5-Star Google Review for Heddon Street Kitchen, London** Heddon Street Kitchen in London is a culinary gem that deserves every bit of its stellar reputation. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with an atmosphere that perfectly balances elegance and comfort. The staff here are exceptional; attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, they make every visit feel special. The menu is a delightful journey through modern British cuisine with a twist. Each dish I've tried has been a masterpiece of flavors and presentation. The chefs here truly understand how to blend traditional techniques with innovative ideas, resulting in meals that are both comforting and exciting. The venue itself is beautifully designed, with a cozy yet sophisticated decor that makes it perfect for any occasion, be it a casual lunch or a celebratory dinner. The attention to detail in every aspect of Heddon Street Kitchen's operation is evident and contributes to the overall exceptional experience. Moreover, the buzzing atmosphere is always inviting, whether you're nestled inside or enjoying the vibrant outdoor seating. It's a place where every meal feels like a special occasion, yet it's comfortable enough to become a regular spot. In summary, Heddon Street Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience in London. The combination of exquisite food, impeccable service, and a charming atmosphere earns it a well-deserved five stars.

Overall a terrible place. Food was fine. The Wellington steak was good, but others are not very special, too much fusion and way to salty. The service was terrible. The waiter was with a dead face all the time, and put a wrong order for us.

6/6/22 We arrived 10 minutes early and the front door service didn’t seem very welcoming. The lady with the two-toned (B&W) hair who took us to our tables had a bad attitude. She seated us at some poorly lit corner table, and when we asked her politely to move us somewhere else (we did see some 3, 4 empty tables for 2), she made a face and didn’t respond. It took us a good minute to explain why we don’t want to be seated there and that we could see some empty tables, she finally shrugged her shoulders (all the while not speaking a word) and asked us to choose our table! I understand she could’ve been having a tiring day at work and wasn’t feeling her best, but it negatively affected our first experience there. Gordon’s signature beef wellington lived up to it’s hype (i think), it was more about the experience! We LOVED the fresh flavour-packed starters. The salted beef brisket, spicy tuna tartare and the tamarind chicken wings were all amazing! Since we enjoyed the starters so much, the main beef wellington slightly fell dull on the palate, and was too big of a portion, but again a great dish! Since it was our first time, we would’ve appreciated if the waiter taking the order would’ve suggested that the portion of 3 starters and a beef wellington might be a little too much for 2 people (or am i expecting too much and should’ve done my research before coming 🤔) Anyhow, the overall experience was good. Will definitely go try other Gordon’s restaurants!

we had such a blast, with only a day spent in London we picked Beef Wellington experience.. Daria and Saad were doing fantastic job to accomodate our request. Food delicious and you can tell it is indeed a high quality meal. We will surely come back again :) thank you!

Good food, you can feel the quality of the ingredients is excellent however I believe it is not good value for money. The mains are quite standard options, like burger or fish and chips and to pay around £20 for a simple burger I find it excessive. If you decide to order a starter, dessert and some wine like we did, don't be surprised if the bill at the end exceeds the £70 x person.

Turned up unannounced at 4pm on a Saturday for a table for three. It was clear they were busy but the host was happy to accommodate and squeeze us in upstairs on an end table. Service was a little hap hazard but given they had accommodated us we were more than happy. The food choice is comprehensive and the food (given how busy they were) was served quickly. The fish and chips were lovely with a really good piece of fish well cooked. The burger was served medium as requested and was juicy and tasted great. One small gripe was that the fries didn’t arrive but the meal was filling and so were not missed. They still have their ice cream bar but it’s nothing like it used to be. Originally they had a large selection of toppings in old fashioned jars for the children to see and choose from. Now there are just four on display and what alternative toppings are hidden behind the counter, I could just see over but my son had no idea and couldn’t see. The chef(?) who served was THE most miserable man and clearly didn’t want to be helping. My son felt quite intimidated and embarrassed asking for his choice 😮. Amazing that one person can let the side down. @Gordon Ramsay - maybe revisit this section and inject some more fun into this aspect! Other than that a great meal, at a respectable price, will visit again and hope the chef is having a better day upstairs!

We chose Heddon Street Kitchen because it was a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and also because it offered a Sunday roast menu in the evening. I was looking forward to trying my very first Sunday roast in the UK! Unfortunately, this restaurant leaves MUCH to be desired. The best part of my meal were the honey roasted carrots. The chicken had rubbery skin, was quite dry, and was served without the bread sauce listed on the menu. The roast potatoes were old as they were difficult to cut into due to the crunchy outside being too cold to cut through. The gravy, if you could call it that, was not a thickened sauce at all and was a huge oily puddle under everything on the plate. The entire dish was lacking flavor. My husband had the butter chicken dish and that was much better but the rice was crunchy and the roti that is served with it? It was nothing but a flour tortilla. We also ordered a side of macaroni and cheese and it was served without the garlic crumb topping. For £120 the quality of food should be much, much higher.

Amazing experience! We had had a not-so-great experience previously at another GR restaurant but my faith has now been restored following this visit to Heddon Street Kitchen. Absolutely delicious food, cooked to perfection, generous portions but most importantly, fantastic customer service. Special shout-outs to Thomas for his incredible hospitality and generosity, Ivan for his great attentiveness and Napi for his outstanding customer service, all made our visit highly memorable and enjoyable. Great team, deserving the highest praise!

As Gordon Ramsay’s name is associated with this place, expectations were naturally a little high. Starters were great. So was the service. The steak however was a little overcooked for my liking. Sea bream could have done with a little more seasoning.

  • 5/5 Erik C. 1 year ago on Google
This place needs no review and needs no introduction. It suffices to say that it lives up to the name and the hype. You can clearly see the work that has been put into creating the menu and building the atmosphere of a restaurant. Everything was great down to the most minute detail. The service was phenomenal and the decor of the restaurant was magnificent. Have not even gotten to the food yet. I ordered the spicy tuna appetizer which was delectable. Truly some of the better tuna I've had around the world. Then I ordered the pork belly with a side of macaroni cheese. Both were plated to perfection and tasted amazing. The pork belly came with some sort of apple sauce (excuse my poor description) that combined together amazingly. Mostly writing this to confirm that this place truly lives up to the hype.
