Despite vomiting, loss of appetite difficulty breathing and coughing up blood for six weeks my gp is still refusing to even speak to me on the phone, they wonā€™t see me at all despite been unable to work incredibly unwell and house bound for over a month. Itā€™s terrifying, there is no health care at all. There is literally no point in having a gp. I feel like there is something seriously wrong with me and they wonā€™t give me an appointment. Iā€™m considering writing to my MP or looking into taking legal action as Iā€™ve being begging for an appointment for weeks but the doctors refuse to do their job. Iā€™ve had to go through 111 to get the help needed which is so unfair on them as my doctors should just be doing their job.

Impossible to see a GP, takes days to book a phone consultation, receptionist sends you to A&E for non emergency requests which GPs should deal with. I was unwell during early pregnancy and took a month since when I called them to be seen till I actually got a call from a GP to discuss my blood results. Completely and utterly pointless as by that time I had recovered, with the help of Google search. If you want medical care, this isnā€™t the place to be. I would give them zero stars if possible. They have one amazing receptionist, so if youā€™re lucky to speak with her, you might stand a chance to get your issue half-sorted.

Unsure why the low rating on here but my experience has been very good with this medical centre. Booked multiple appointments via the website and always got one the next day. The receptionists have always been kind with a smile on their face and never waited more than 5mins once I got there. Dr. Chung was so empathetic, professional and knowledgeable. While I very much hope I donā€™t need to go back anytime soon, if/when I do I know Iā€™ll be in safe hands.

I have been with this GP for very long time. Always received professional services from them. Recently I was struggling to get an appointment which I needed urgently. One of your staffs Mr.Mahbubur Rahman dealt my request promptly for which I was really happy. Even after my appointment he managed to authorise my prescription request from the pharmacist very quickly. So pleasedšŸ˜Œ

If only I could give less than 1 starā€¦Iā€™ve moved to this area and this surgery is just 1 minute from me and my partner is registered there already so naturally I am trying to register with them. I filled out the paperwork, gave the lady my ID and was told Iā€™d receive a text within a few days, I also explained my ankle is giving me so much pain I need to see the doctor as soon as possible, now itā€™s been 3 months I am still not registered I have called and gone In to enquire whatā€™s happening more than 5 times and the receptionist really just has an I couldnā€™t care less attitude and acts like sheā€™s being bothered everytime I ask, all she keeps saying is I donā€™t know and yeah it can take long you have to wait..Iā€™ve also asked to speak to practice manager every time Iā€™m there and am always told they are off sick!

Ive had a back injury for 2years - when i first reported GP didnt even bother do an examination. Spoke to 111 multiple times and they said i need to be referred for a MRI & back specialist. Star lane refuse to do anything, i speak to a new doctor everytime that asks me to explain everything over again. The receptionists are beyond rude. I had to take time off work and they had me come in, with my back in pieces just to send me home again because of a mistake they made. I recently started a fulltime job (doesnt pay much) & wanted to check if i needed to pay for the medication prescribed, as i was kind of sure i would but would have to wait a week until i got paid. The receptiontionist told me i wouldnt have to pay. I again left with my back injury for no reason. They are useless, they give me anxiety and they do not help. looking for a new surgery because 32 with a back issue for 2years that makes me bedboundā€¦.i need help not them fobbing off & making me worse.

The level of Ignorance from the doctors here is extremely disappointing. There is no Corona restrictions in places pretty much all part of the UK except with GP's. During the lock down they don't wanted to see me face to face which resulted in complex fistula and I had 3 surgeries already and waiting for more, Initially online and phone consultations described my problem as simple piles. Each time you make online bookings, you will get a single ring and phone will cut off and you will get a voice mail says," doctor tried to reach you, they won't call back, you need to make another appointment ". Last week I made another online booking for breathing difficulties ,still no calls. I supposed to receive a call very next day!!.

The Doctors are brilliant, I have no problems with the surgery.is the system, of booking appointments, to go through in filling in forms, on line and have to wait for a text them waiting for a be Doctor to call you.Why can patients called to book at the receptionist. I feel stressed when I have to make an appointment to fill in that application form.

I've been a patient at Star Lane Medical Centre (SLMC) since 2018. This is the first time I wrote a detailed review for a medical centre. Because I strongly believe SLMC is a truly exceptional service that deserves recognition! Here are my reviews of my overall interaction with them: Booking and Appointment: - Online form ā€“ I like SLMC's new medical form, itā€™s user-friendly and I can quickly explain my symptoms with all the prompts provided by the software. I can complete the form in <10mins, which is a significant time-saving compared to having to speak to someone over the phone! - Appointment slot ā€“ almost all of the time, Iā€™m being given phone appointments within 3- 4 working days. However, they also offered an in-person appointment if they think youā€™ll be benefited from a physical examination. I do like that you can indicate your preferred Dr to see. - Phone/receptionist ā€“ occasionally, Iā€™ve to phone SLMC to confirm my prescription/letter request etc. The waiting time varies between 5-20mins, but they have the option of you to ā€œsave your queue numberā€ and receive a callback. Itā€™s a great initiative. This could be improved by the call back not being hung up after only 2-3 dial tones. Interaction with GP/Nurses/Other staff: - GPs & Nurses ā€“ Iā€™ve seen various GPs & nurses in the last 4 years. Iā€™m particularly impressed by Dr Fang and Dr Gilligan whoā€™s been supporting me before and during pregnancy. They made you feel heard, and cared for and include you in the decision-making for your treatment. They wonā€™t hesitate to advocate for you if they think you are being ā€˜forgottenā€™ by the hospitals/other services that they referred you to. I also accompanied my husband to regular post-surgery appointments from May-June 21. Iā€™m impressed by the care, dignity and compassion shown by the nurses in this GP. A special shout out to Nurse Shahima whoā€™s not just excellent in her work, but truly cares for her patientā€™s condition and recovery. - Admin/Reception staff ā€“ this has been kept to a minimum since the introduction of the online form. There are some exceptional admin staff whoā€™ll go above and beyond for you. However, an improvement can be made in their approach behind the glass wall (e.g. volume when discussing patientā€™s conditions). Overall, Despite NHSā€™s limited resources, I'm impressed by the team's efficiency and care! Itā€™s not easy to balance both, but Star Lane GP has shown in the past 4 years they are worthy of 5* reviews. They should be given an ā€œOUSTANDINGā€ rating by CQC for their services!

It is a good GP. Online appointment booking is in working hours and you will get appointment with 2-3 days and sometimes next day, which is quite good comparatively to other GP in this area. They donā€™t book appointment at reception, so if you need same day appointment then they wonā€™t help you. I find this GP overall good.

This surgery is actually really appalling. Doctors donā€™t even chase you up to let you know if blood test results are abnormal. Half the time you try and get a hold of a doc, theyā€™re on annual leave or magically donā€™t work there anymore. The rest of the 1 star reviews are correct and accurate. Receptionist staff will hover around their desks if they see you waiting needing some assistance but wonā€™t come to the desk to help you. Disgusting. How is this service even still open? Itā€™s an actual joke.

I have been coming to this surgery for nearly 20 years, and when I hear people swearing at the staff I think they should go abroad and see how the health service is and what it costs. To all the staff at star lane surgery well done and thank you for your help and if people talk to staff properly you get more done .have a good day

Suzie is the most kindest person I have ever met. She is so helpful, kind & understanding she is brilliant at her job . Suzie has really helped me a lot without her being there I honestly donā€™t know what I would have done I was in a really dark place she helped me to see that their was light at the end of the tunnel.i will always be grateful for her being there when I felt so alone. We need more people like her . I am now on the right road getting my life back in order which I could not have done without her support

I am patient for star lane. I am very satisfied with the all services from the reception, doctor and all staff members. Yesterday I have spoken to Mrs. Augusta. She was explaining everything and the way she was talking was good. I know her from the beginning. She was doing project very well and professional. O don't have any complaint about her and 10 out of 10 service.

Itā€™s a shame 0 stars isnā€™t an option cause that would be my opinion. Absolutely useless practice, one of the worst in London. The doctors donā€™t listen to you, I get hung up on multiple times after being on hold for over an hour, donā€™t explain things properly and then expect you to deal with the consequences without any further guidance, donā€™t complete repeat prescription requests and I constantly have to chase them. I canā€™t think of anything good about this practice to be completely honest.

I was required to provide evidence from GP with my diagnosis for Blue badge application and Augusta listened carefully to me and wrote a letter based on my records and my comments. I've got my blue badge that helps a lot and I am very greatful for the kindness and understanding she showed to me.

The staff at Star Lane are generally very friendly and courteous. Suzy, whom I dealt with today was amazing in providing information and explaining things to me. Her advice was sound and I could tell she was knowledgeable on the topic as well as her concern and care about my issues.

This place is an absolute disgrace ! From reception to some of the health professionals. I have been there for 2y. I had so many outrageous situations were they have been unprofessional, didnā€™t follow up, made mistakes in their notes, forgetting appointment, rudeness and so much more. Having young children registered there is incredibly stressful . It takes days to have an appointment even for a sick baby. Donā€™t register here.

Very disappointed with this GP, starting from that the information from previous GP they didnā€™t transfer all, so the doctor started to give her predictions about whatā€™s happen, on one of the first appointment and trying to seek from them help the doctor she said her hands is tied up and she canā€™t do anything after few weeks I end up in hospital because of same health problems and GP didnā€™t refer to specialist. They just keep sending in the loop to check daily bases, measurements and even the last calls didnā€™t know what messages sending to patients. Donā€™t waist your time in this GP, they lost half of the information, no attitude, no interest to solve the health problem.Could say not worth it even 1 star.

When I first was referred to this service, I was sceptical and I really didnā€™t want to go, I kept cancelling appointments and making excuses as to why I couldnā€™t go. Anyway fast forward to today. Thus service and support I had from Tosin was amazing. We worked together throughout this process and I haloed me have a sense of purpose I have managed to achieve some of the things we talked about and worked on and in short it gave me a kick up the backside! Thank you Tosin this is not good bye itā€™s thank you for remaining a voice at the other end of the line if I need it ā¤ļøā¤ļø
