Honestly the worst GP. Lazy receptionists, incompetent doctors. The other day my friends daughter hd been feeling sick and had a sore throat for over 2 weeks. The doctors said she was fine, however it worsened to the point she lost her voice. Doctors again said she was fine. Later we went to a different GP and they told my friend she had a bacterial infection in her throat that worsened because the doctors said she was fine. Honestly a disgrace, I have one friend whose mum was feeling terrible and drowsy, she could barely get up. They went to this GP 6 times doctors said she was fine. My friend knew something wasn’t right so she went to the hospital and found out her mum had the last stage of cancer. Later she died because of the doctors in this GP kept telling my friend that everything was fine with her mum when in reality she was battling with cancer. After this incident the GP wrote a letter to my friend saying her behaviour to the staff was ‘intolerable’. My friend had the right to be angry to the doctors who could have prevented the death of her mother.

I tried to make an appointment for my elderly grandad this morning. The receptionists are awful. They behave like I am disturbing them from their sleep. I explained that he has been having issues with His breathing but she told me they have no appointments and would not give me an emergency appointment. The women told me go to A+E which is totally ridiculous, disgraceful and a waste of resources. I tried to call back to ask if they can give him the inhaler so he can at least manage his breathing. The receptionist said they can’t give him a medication he needs to see a doctor. THIS GP WILL NOT GIVE HIM AN APPOINTMENT BUT EXPECT HIM TO SEE THE DOCTOR TO GIVE HIM LIFE SAVING MEDICATION THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. It’s impossible to make an appointment at this surgery. The phones are rarely responded to. The Receptionist not only are unable to make any appointments but they are also unable to make any appointments for the future. My grandad Has a serious medical condition which could be rectified with medication but this surgery is refusing appointments. I will be making a formal complaint to the relevant bodies. I am registered at Another doctor surgery where we do not have to deal with this bureaucracy . We can get appointments when needed and appointments for the future if needed. This surgery needs an independent body to investigate what’s going on.

The doctors themselves are great, however the receptionists are terrible, when I was at the GP the receptionists were having a conversation in the other room while the phones were ringing and none of them picked up, today I tried calling the GP and spent half hour in first place only to be told I’m too late and need to try again tomorrow. Shen said “you will have to phone again at 8am” which is what I did but somehow within 45 minutes there’s no appointments available, when I was in the queue there was only 10, these receptionists need to be removed and hire people that actually want to help

Unfortunately the few Dr's I've seen were unhelpful. didn't seem to care or give options /offer treatment that is actually available. Get you in and out as quickly as possible is what I found. The NHS is a serious mess and they pass the blame. Also medical records have been lost for over one year and no one seems to care. Also had the GP cancel on me 3 times after waiting 2 weeks for an appointment. Rebook time almost another two weeks. Dr White is nice, but still given limited help for my health. Feeling unwell and want to end up worse chose the NHS..

I Just came out from them i can not express with words how bad and disappointed i feel.. I am 37 weeks pregnant, during all my pregnancy i been seen each time different midwifes that made me feel always a bit extrange but as i was having a good pregnancy i didnt give too much importance, but what happened to me today shows how little they care on you, i was given a leafleft with all the dates for antenatal clases and been encourage by my Last midwife to attend, i came on time at 13:30 and in reception they told me to sit down as someone will come and pick me up, i been literally AN HOUR waiting, and no one came! I been asking several times and they kept telling me: someone is coming! Not giving me much explanation..i could even hear them laughing and not giving much importance to the matter that NO ONE was coming, and i was there.. 37 weeks pregnant waiting for AN HOUR sitting down in reception.. IT IS SO EMBARRASING.. They made me feel really bad...

This GP surgery ( Aylesbury medical centre) need to understand how to care for their service users effectively because they lack quality of care. If you are on the phone to them at 0800, they kept you on number 1 in the queue for completely 40mins and when they eventually picked the phone they said no more bookings available, you can call back at 1400.This kind of practice is disgusting, this is not the first time I am experiencing this inequality care they are providing. I am disappointed. If they know that they are not going to attend to their service users, then they should close done instead of giving people false hope.

I've been a patient at the Aylesbury Medical center for over 20 years. Over the past 5 months it's impossible to obtain an appointment. My 7 year old is sick and needs to be seen by a doctor. They no longer book appointments, they advise you to call the emergency line at 8am which nobody picks up. When you eventually get through they advise you to call back 14.00. At 14.00 exactly the same thing happens. I have not gone there in person at 8 maybe that is the only way to obtain an appointment. I will now take my son A& E.

This is a review of the Aylesbury Health centre, which holds the baby clinic every Monday. I would not recommend this place since it is overly crowded and the waiting times to get the baby weighed are very long. I went there in order to get my 5 month old baby weighed. After a wait of one and a half hour, I finally gave up since the health visitor was not even weighing babies anymore. The place was overly crowded; all people that were complaining about the long wait. On the side, I do not understand why weighing a baby should take that long. The health visitor only lets one person in at a time. It would seem a lot more efficient to me if two or three parents/carers could get in to undress/dress the baby such that the scale can be used more efficiently. I usually go to another clinic (in Bermondsey on Grange Road) and they work in this way, and that is a lot more efficient, i.e. shorter waiting times.

A very terrible service. I understand there are COVID restrictions but this is absolutely a useless surgery. This is not my usual surgery but due to appointment times, I was sent here and oh my!!!! First, I went into the wrong building! Apparently one building is Aylesbury Health Centre and the other is Aylesbury Medical Centre. I was directed to the other building and I was just 4mins late due to me entering the wrong building. I ran back out luckily it isn’t too far from each other. The reception took 10mins to answer the flipping door and I had to watch her clean her keyboard, type, speak to someone else then when she was done she spoke to me through the door. She wouldn’t even open the door despite there being multiple glass shields around her desk!! All the time this was going into my appointment for her to finally tell me that the nurse cant see you as she’s waiting for her next patient! There was no one in the surgery!!!!!! I sat outside the surgery to inform my Other half of my frustration and to my anger, nobody entered the surgery for another 20mins!!!!!! It’s so sad that there is no longer efficiency, no form of empathy or care despite explaining my plight. I am a senior healthcare professional myself and this is so not on!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Aylesbury medical center for an eye scan. From the outside I wasn't very hopeful, it's pretty rundown inside and out although it looks like they made a lot of effort to improve it. The woman at the front desk on the ground floor was so lovely and helpful. Had an eye scan upstairs, the guy who gave me the eye drops was lovely, reassuring, gave me all the information I needed. A few minutes later the eye doctor came to get me, she was so friendly, knowledgeable and really super efficient. Aylesbury medical centre is a great example of the difference a great team of people can make to a rundown place. They provided a great standard of care so nothing else mattered. Would definitely recommend.

The most annoying receptionist staff ever. You wait 30 minutes to get through for them to only over and over again hang up the phone!! So aggressively aswell. If there isnt any appointments left just answer the damn phone and say so! People are calling the doctors for a reason.. be more courteous.

My first impression was good. Midwife seemed to be very committed, kind and helpful. And the place was also not bad. It is slightly outdated but with no money in NHS I guess no wonder. However, service is what's count. And like I've already mentioned, I was very satisfied.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This surgery doesn’t even deserve 1 star. It’s appalling they tell you to call them back at 2pm but they don’t pick up their appointments line. What does a patient have to do before they’re given a telephone consultation? Is this normal to be on hold for more than 15 minutes?

Once again I am ringing the Aylesbury Health Centre about my elderly mother and once again it takes forever for them to answer the phone and when you eventually get through they cut you off, this has been happening for years and it needs to stop. This has happened to me several times and other people who are unfortunate to have to deal with this surgery. I have left my house with my phone on loud speaker trying to get through, I have driven 5 miles to work, drove around looking for a parking space, parked my car then walked 15 minutes to my workplace and guess what they still don’t answer. Aylesbury you need to do better either get more staff or a proper phone system that works like other surgery’s.

Midwife services - I’d recommend, I have Charity who is just so lovely and puts you at ease. Team are as responsive as us reasonable over email (non-emergency), really happy with care received during my two pregnancies to date.

This was my first visit to the Aylesbury Medical centre as I normally attend a different surgery - part of the same Nexus group. The appointment was made through an e-consult discussion with a GP - and this was the first available appointment within the Nexus Group. I saw Dr Shazia Kay. She was extremely good - listened carefully - did not hurry me - despite me having three health issues that needed attention. She did a thorough examination and gave me a number of prescriptions for each of the conditions. The prescriptions were then emailed to the pharmacy of my choice to collect the medicines. An all round excellent service. Thank you Dr Kay and the staff at the centre.

Excellent treatment. Saw Dr Shazia Kay. She listened carefully to details of all four of my medical problems. Did a careful examination. Sent an immediate set of prescriptions to the chemist of my choice. Thank you for brilliant service.

This isn't the health centre they show in picture. It's the medical centre which is the surgery. The post code for the medical centre is SE17 2UN. Picture is also different. People are getting wrong information

Invited for a drop in flu vaccine at this surgery. Felt grubby and overcrowded, no soap in dispenser in toilet. Fortunately I didn’t have to wait long for my vaccination as the waiting room was stuffy. The nurse who administered the vaccine was very kind, professional and helpful as was the receptionist.

Was on the phone queue for over 30 minutes, only for them to hang up when I got to position one.

How the receptionists are allowed to get away with such disgraceful behaviour is beyond me. Being a new patient, not being allowed to finish sentences or finish questions and then consistently having the phone hung up on me mid conversation. Appalling.

They start the day with something ridiculous like 3 appointments available so you have more chance of winning the lottery than you do getting even a telephone appointment let alone a face to face.

The best experience I have had with a Doctor in years, it was so nice to for someone to actually listen to an issue and then act on it immediately, with correct medication now prescribed I feel so much better, not my usual practice (but will be going forward) a massive thank you to Dr Ramandeep.
