It ia an awesome place to visit. Even a short break from work would be excellent. Anyway, amazed by the plant and tree choices. Do you know about Strawberry tree? Do you know during early age how plants from all around carried to UK. Very nice and calming environment with all the facilities. The routes are clean and clear. There are enough spaces to sit down. There is toilet facility too. There are birds cheering you can hear, at first I thought it's artificial. Birds comes and goes yet well maintained garden. Cherry on top is everything for free. Hope you enjoy 😊

Wow, such a hidden piece of beauty in such busy city area of London! It’s completely free to just walk through, take in the views and get some pretty pictures. Very tranquil and if you’re interested in plants there’s a lot of educational information around.

Crossrail Roof garden is a very pleasant place to visit. It has a very beautiful garden with a variety of plants. A few key points: 1. It is free of cost and doesn't need a booking. 2. Spend some time in the garden and enjoy the environment. Don't rush. 3. You will find directions from Canary Wharf Station to the crossrail roof garden.

A stunning garden which is hidden amongst a forest of buildings surrounding it. Gives a good breath of fresh air, the wonderful sound of birds chirping and a treat for the soul. The trees are extremely polite and well behaved too. Highly recommend a visit.

Amazing rooftop garden in the middle of concrete business buildings. Ideal place to go have a break from all the hustle bustle in Canary Wharf. Nice place to visit with children and show them tropical and exotic plants, flowers and trees from other countries and continents.

Small nice roof garden, which is free access. The rain gave it a better vibe during my visit even if it's part open on the top. But getting there you also pass through a nice bridge and a lot of restaurants and shops.

Magical garden on top of the Elizabeth line at Canary Wharf. Super modern conservatory garden with clean flat paths between the trees. Look out for the public art and sculptures too

Crossrail Place Roof Garden is a relaxing botanical garden situated in the middle of the busy Canary Wharf business district. We went to the Breakfast Club on the ground floor and whilst waiting to be seated, took a walk around the garden and spent about half an hour trying to spot the different kinds of tropical plants, but could have easily spent longer as it's an extremely peaceful and quiet area. It's the beating heart of the Canary Wharf station serving the brand new Elizabeth line which is a thrilling experience in itself, providing comfortable transport to central London in minutes.

What a hidden treasure of a place!? Peaceful, tranquil and the air of a forest in such a metropolitan built up part of the city. Truly unique! Pop in and take a stroll for free when you're in east London or at Canary Wharf, as the plants and environment are really captivating. A tribute to what people are capable of when they love and cherish nature....elevating it and enshrining it on a pedestal it deserves.

My favourite space to visit in London! Really peaceful and quiet, with lots of fresh air and gorgeous plants. So easy to access from the DLR at West India Quay (2 mins walk) and a great space for some quiet contemplation or mindfulness. Never overly busy either so can guarantee a spot to sit and relax. Lots of interesting seasonal displays of art too. Can’t wait to go back!!

Located close to Canary Wharf station. This small but mighty peaceful gardens made us forget about the hectic London life for a little while. With a few benches so you can catch some sun rays or hide in the shade. This is not too far from the Thames. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, So if you’re visiting London you can go and eat in a restaurant on or near the river. Also perfect for a romantic walk for a date if desired. Good place to sit by if you have to wait or even sit by and paint or read. I highly recommend visiting this little heaven. It is peaceful and healing and perfect for time in nature while getting a chance to learn about many plants. Moreover it’s free entry!!!

An absolutely amazing escape from the always busy London. There's birds singing and everytime I go it's not busy and there's always a bench to sit on. I really enjoy coming here. Last Saturday there was even live music! How great! 🎶

It’s on the top floor of crossrail place, right above Elizabeth Line. The plants here are beautiful and majestic. You’ll find lots of tropical or sub tropical plantations here. The garden is very well maintained, clean and organised. I see staff working here tidying up often. It’s a very safe area for kids to play around. It is nice to grab a coffee and a book to just chill here.

Lovely place to hangout. One of the most remarkable aspects of this garden is its ability to transport you to a different world. Whether you visit to relax, take a leisurely stroll, or simply enjoy the greenery, you'll find it to be a rejuvenating experience.

The roof garden is located near the prime meridian line that marks the boundary of the Eastern and Western hemispheres. The garden takes inspiration from this by having plants from both hemispheres, in two separate zones. Most of the garden is covered, but there are a few sections which are open to the elements. When I visited at 08:30 it was very quiet, though I suspect it gets busier during lunch hours when all the nearby office workers are looking for a peaceful lunch spot.

Stunning quiet gardens on the rooftop at Canary Wharf that’s also flanked by two restaurants worth visiting. It provides a quiet space in the city for rest and peace. Entry is free so need to purchase tickets before visiting.

The place would be great for a selfie and photo shoot. Make sure it is sunny, not rainy. Otherwise, you will be wet 😌 like me. There is a restaurant/bar at the end. However, it is a good idea to grab a coffee and snacks and enjoy the view. There are seats , left, and escalators. Good place for meditation and proposal. Not crowded, although it was a Saturday afternoon

That's a really peaceful place. I think in the summer time it will be more beautiful to visit. I will definitely come back in late spring or summer. There's a good place for coffee and relaxing your mind.

The Gardens are well done with a covered walkway with open area windows, places to sit the sound of birds all around stick to that don’t bother with the bar at the end of the passage The walk to it from the train is fascinating through colorful tunnels and courtyards galore

A city escape in a peaceful setting. This rooftop garden is placed a stones throw away from Canary Wharf tube and easily accessed via lift or escalator with bars and restaurants at either end. The garden itself is a collection of greenery under a partially exposed roof. There are areas to take it all in and have a seat under a palm while gazing up at a glass fronted building. It’s a bit of juxtaposition but worth a visit if in the area. While the garden itself is developed, it isn’t as mature and varied as say, the Barbican centre. Some colours would be good in the summer months but then sense of tranquility is apparent. I’d say it is best used by local residents with no access to a garden or those who just want a peaceful stroll. Personally, I think there are better roof gardens so don’t go out of your way to get there but if you want to escape the hustle of Canary Wharf, duck upstairs to this little green oasis and seek out the calm!

Hidden rooftop garden in Canary Wharf. Worth it if you’re into plants and garden. Information board is quite educative as well

Discover a hidden garden that offers a peaceful escape without having to leave the city. This well-maintained sanctuary boasts a variety of lush greens and a serene atmosphere, where you can enjoy the absence of noise and the company of friendly and quiet individuals, albeit very few. You may even spot some on-the-go yogis practicing their poses amidst the towering skyscrapers. I love bringing my guests to this garden and amassing them with its beauty.

A beautiful tranquil and amazing place to be. It doesn't feel like your in London, but rather a wonderland forest. It's simply amazing. A MUST visit if you are in Canary Wharf. 10/10!

It was smaller than I thought but worth a visit and is free... the Big Easy along the path was so cool... live music too

Canary Wharf is a beautiful business district and to be able to find this garden roof so full of healthy plants, that's just a great stress relief right in the middle of a "good" chaotic place. Just magic. Bring your lunch and get good filtered air. Cheers!

Lovely (and free) place to visit if in the area. Great to see a range of trees and shrubbery within a city and there are interesting information boards about some of the plant species. Plenty of benches to sit and relax and great for children - there weren’t many flowers or low-down leafy plants for them to grab (and no exotic poisonous plants or cacti!). Some bypassers were comparing it to their visit to Kew Gardens - this is a very different experience and purpose to Kew Gardens or any other botanical garden (particularly as this is a free public garden). It would have been improved had there been individual little placards identifying each plant or tree, and would have been nice to read about the biodiversity or how it helps bees and insects. It is relaxing and very pretty, but also small.

Beautiful variety of plants, quite tranquil to admire the views and relax. There's several information boards with the history of the plants from around the world. Also has a small vegetable bed and several lifts, great accessibility.

It was small but a lovely place to wander around and sit, a bit of green in the middle of the city. Great experience without entry fee. If you are in the area, this is worth a visit.

Beautiful place if you work around canary wharf . Entrance is awesome. Weekends are busy with pets. It's covered with glass so worries for rain and wind. One time visit place Free of cost Have restaurant at garden place Have washrooms at level -3. Garden is on level 1. Not so huge place

I've been here quite a few times, it's a lovely quiet place with wonderful shrubs, pants and trees. Something there is entertainment, at the weekend or on school holidays. There are even toilets on the ground floor. It's disabled friendly with good wide paths all the way through.

It was a relaxing place to stop and have a couple of drinks. Although the drinks were pricey, you got it back with a great skyline view overlooking one side of Canary Wharf. Definitely a place to visit if you’re looking for a place to rest with a view!
