A lovely green space for all the family. They have a gym in the park a running track, huge field. This park has recently had a new childrenโ€™s play area fitted, this is in my opinion, the only really nice play area for children on the Island. The unique thing about this is park is that it is connected to Mudchute farm and the walk down is so refreshing and green, it almost feels like you are in the country side.

Wonderful place. Our weekend spot for playing, a few exercise/ warmups, farm visits, sports activities and sometimes picnics too. You would be invigorated to do something at the weekend. Don't miss out if you are staying close by.

This is good park having kids play area and open gym with basic equipments . Main thing I want to draw attention is that the walking/jogging track requires immediate repair. The track is uneven and at one side it is very much slanting. It appears it is sinking at one place. Concerned authorities should pay attention and arrange to repair it at priority.

Based in the south-eastern part of the Isle of Dogs, Millwall Park is the largest on the island, within it caters to a few things ranging from a outdoor fitness area to two designated playgrounds with plenty of green for sport actives. There are a few entrances/exits, the main one would be via Manchester Road but the others would be located on East Ferry Road and Stebondale Street but you can go through Mudchute Park and Farm too. There are local buses nearby, bus stops Island Gardens (Stop D and J) which caters to the bus D7, which starts/ends from Poplar/All Saints Church to Mile End, the 135 which starts/ends from Crossharbour Asda to Old Street Station (Moorfields Eye Hospital) and the N550, which starts/ends at Trafalgar Square to Canning Town Station. You could also get here via 135, 277(N) Millwall Park (Stop L), Mudchute Station Spindrift Ave (Stop MB) or Island Gardens (DLR) and lastly the Greenwich Foot Tunnel of course. All in all, worth a look if you're around the area.

My son had a football game. Pitch was muddy and not well looked after. Was still OK. Wouldn't like to go when it's been raining heavy - you'll be slipping in the mud!

A lovely place for outdoor activities with family and friends. This has been our home ground for playing the LMS league. Lush green with open gym and other play area for kids. Has a running track surrounding the entire ground. Lovely place to spend on a sunny day. The cricket ground has a mat pitch and is suitable for all forms of cricket.

A nice park with some decent equipment which should be even better when the improvements are completed. It also has one of the most impressive backdrops ever with fantastic views of Canary Wharf.

On a lovely sunny day the park was bristling with sporting activities, and people sun bathing, loads of children in the play area I had a walk around the perimeter, and enjoyed my short visit A great amenity for the locals

A spacious park that appears to be used for sports, and includes an outside gym and a play park. The park is directly outside (to the left) if coming out of the DLR of Island Gardens. We had a little picnic, although it was ruined a little by someone who thought it was OK for their dog to join us (was not on lead). The dog took a fancy to the sausage roll our youngest was eating which he kindly decided was his.... the owner of the dog walked over and apologised and as they walked away with the dog eating its new lunch we heard him say to the dog 'o you really shouldn't eat sausage rolls there not good for you!'

Just a day visitor to Docklands, but walking from Cutty Sark under the river Thames and through Millwall Park was nice, finding out the squirrels will take crisps from your hand was magical.

Very nice park. Lots of people but everybody is busy with their own work. Some are playing football, some cricket ( they have proper pitch ), some are just relaxing and some are jogging or exercise.

There's a new children's playground here under the arches at the southern end near Island Garden station. My children certainly enjoyed it. There's nothing huge but there's a decent slide, a bridge thing, and a sort of rope obstacle course, and of course what looks like a wooden meteorite to climb on.

  • 5/5 Llewelyn J. 1 year ago on Google
Nice chilled park great facilities. Playground has a good mix of apparatus and thereโ€™s a good adult outdoor gym. East to get to and very near Mudchute City Farm

  • 5/5 Ewa K. 3 years ago on Google
Lovely place, great for a walk with a dog, exercises or pure chillax with a book. There is a nice coffee shop opposite Island Gardens DLR station.

  • 5/5 Simon D. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely place for dog walks. Mudchute farm is nice too. Only problem with park is that there is so much rubbish left laying around by thoughtless and selfish idiots. Lots of bins, so they are just lazy. The refuse men are there every morning cleaning up, but they are fighting a losing battle. If walking your dog keep an eye out for broken glass, needles, and any litter your dog could choke on.

Such a nice big park with lots of space for walks runs chill time & to play football and move around. The park was clean and tidy and has seats. There is a number of entrances and is open 24 hours a day. Inside the park is a playground exercise equipment and basket ball court. The nearest DLR stations are Island Gardens & Mudchute and three bus routes stops outside the park too. On a nice day the park will be busy but there is so much space here a nice place to come and visit.

I enjoyed this place for my morning walk, gym workout. Made few friends.who are regular visitors for practicing their skills. The highway maintenance van picking up garbage every day ensures that the users or park are not disturbed. Overall well managed.

  • 5/5 Sulaman K. 5 months ago on Google
Large open space, great workout section and kids playground, but the grass does need some care as it does get very muddy due to all the football and rugby training that takes place on the weekends

  • 5/5 Arjun K. 5 years ago on Google
A beautiful park with plenty of recreation facilities and places to exercise, play ball games, or just take it easy. The massive grounds allow for good star gazing as well on a moonless night, although city glare can be a problem. New exercise machines have been installed which are a plus.

The pitches definitely ain't the best as it is very muddy. But, they do have a zoo and a wide open part for playing

Big and lovely playground, it has an area for under 4yo and a big one for 5+ children. It is just a few minutes walk from Mudchute Farm. The only bad thing is that it doesn't have a toilet in it.

Why would it get more than 3 stars? The children in play area is shabby. The out door gym area is small/tiny for the demand. The place is basic. The grass field is always muddy after little rain ( poor drainage). Another example of Tower Hamlets doing the minimum.

Huge open playground space with outdoor exercise equipment and places to sit and relax on a sunny day. It's a short walk from Island gardens and the Mudchute farm and it was wonderful day out for us covering all these green spaces in the city.

Update: During Covid they have opened an outdoor gym with few equipments where you can exercise. It's a beautiful park to walk. There are lot of activities going on. People train, play, come to relax. I love using the park for playing badminton and running. Saw some fireworks last night which was amazing and attached pictures for you to look. This place is 30 second away from Island garden dlr station and about 2 minutes from mudchute. I'll update more photos of the park when i click more.
