Didn't go into the house, but the grounds - where the Beatles once did publicity photos - are lovely. A serpentine lake, vistas, and old spruces. Lots of room for kids to run around and a nice cafe too.

Fantabulous! I visited this place in September last year and it was an unforgettable visit. This is a Neo-Palladian-style villa built in the 18th century. Many Whig politicians used to stay here centuries back. I couldn't visit the house due to an ongoing event. The main highlight is the surrounding greenery and it's a retreat for our eyes. A beautiful garden designed by William Kent is just stunning. The place was very crowded due to an event(many musical and other cultural events happen here often) when I visited. History buffs should visit this place and I guess that the majority of the people living in West London are unaware of this beautiful villa and its surroundings. Don't forget to buy some souvenirs from the souvenir shop when you leave. Thanks.

Lovely neo-palladian historical villa with more than 300 years of history. The villa is surrounded by 65 acre garden open to the public. The garden has also a beautiful a 'kitchen garden' and greenhouse with more than 300 species of Camellias! To access the: the villa, kitchen garden and greenhouse, you must pay a fee but if you are an'English Heritage' member like me 😉 the access is included in the membership (which I strongly recommend!!. Lots to see around the UK!) This site is just marvelous! Lots of history mixed with the British one, there are Italian and African influences dating from the Roman empire. There are statues of Roman emperors and a beautiful Sphinx. The blue room of the villa is amazing!! There is also a Coffee. Shop and restaurant next to the villa which can be a accessed freely. A must see! I'd definitely recommend a visit to this lovely historical location. The red velvet cake of the coffee shop was also very delicious!

A corner of Paradise. I love walking here whatever the weather and listening to the flow of the cascasde. Locally sourced food from the market and Kitchen garden. Lovely picnic area, cafe, cricket ground, dog friendly, people friendly and beautifully maintained. Check out their website for what's on.

The somewhat underwhelming (interior) historical House additionally hosts events, functions and workshops. The celebrated and legendary gardens are charming with much original fabric and overall conception surviving. Many differing aspects and period divertissements worth seeking out. A worthwhile and distinguished destination that will assuredly not disappoint.

Beautiful house and park featuring lakes, glass house, pavilions and a maze. Also has a large cafeteria with inside and outside seating. They offer opera and other events in the summer.

Beautiful house surrounded by lush gardens . There are so many things to see besides the house , cafe , observatory, pond , garden , bridge etc . The property has many gates but only few has car access . Must do if you are in this part of the town . Good for a run and breakfast too

I'm so lucky to be staying in Chiswick, just around the corner from this gorgeous park. Although it's winter, the 65 acre parks is abundant with wildlife and greenery. It's also very cool to see hundreds of parakeets in the trees. Like other parks in the UK, this one is all about walking the dogs. (I wonder if the dogs know how lucky they are.) The trees and landscape is breathtaking. Also saw an original drawing of Chiswick at the V & A. By the way, fellow tourists, "it's pronounced Chisick, love."

Good all round mix for dog walking. I do the entire boundry in approximately 40minutes but im a fast walker. Nice for a stroll. Can get some cracking pics especially when it snows. Nice cafe, bit pricey but expected, although the icecreams are huge.

The walled garden is lovely. The audio guide is especially good, quite different from the house guide. Instead a slow, poetic, walk with suggestions for listening and seeing

Gem of a place just off the A4 in Chiswick. Glorious grounds and house. Lots of space with plenty of birds. Parakeets gulls and ducks. Caught the sunset as well, just fabulous. Coffee also available from a kiosk.

Such a beautiful park. I can't believe that after living for 13 years in West London and never been here. Pretty, really well looked after, with houses, monuments, bridge, water, playground and anything you can imagine in a place you just want to stroll and enjoy. We cycled there but you can just walk, or run, and sit down and enjoy the views.

This historic and beautiful gardens has been my local park for years, the Duck Pond Market visits here once a month, various festivals & shows frequent here, the cafe is great and Chiswick House is a museum. Come with your dogs and kids, explore the ground, watch a cricket match, have a picnic, or just chill and people watch.

Over the years this place has got better and better. I first came here probably about 42 years ago and I haven’t stopped coming. There’s only two places I keep going to, this being one of them and Royal botanical Gardens, Kew is the other one. I have so many memories, especially climbing on the really old tree (250 years old) that’s near the house. There is a cafe here and I have to say it’s not expensive and I’ve never had a horrible meal there. If your in the area please please please pop in and have a walk around and help your local parks, I promise you you won’t regret it.

An amazing building showcasing 18th century British architecture. Elaborate ceilings, wonderful blue velvet and red velvet rooms, it was essentially a West London home for displaying art collections. Very sad that the main wings didn't survive. Walled garden entry is ticketed, though the main grounds are free to access. Really enjoyed the cafe, food was well cooked with tasty pizzas, burgers etc. Lots of seating available. Parking has to be paid using paybyphone app only, so download and register before you go to save time on arrival.

You can visit the gardens for free but you have to pay to see inside the house. You can't take photos inside. Pre booking in advance is advised which you can do on there web site. Restrooms and a cafe are available in the gardens.

One of the best green space in London... It's suitable for walking, dog sitting or having a picnic. Also it's kid and family friendly.

Beautiful grounds. So sensible to securely fence off the water and birds so dogs can freely roam. Lovely architecture. What a gem for Chiswick residents to enjoy.

Absolutely beautiful park, with well maintained parts as well as totally wild. Great for families, as there's playground, cafe and restroom facilities. Duck pond, museum, farmers market over the weekend - what not to love 💕 one of my favourites in London ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stunning interior design details within the house. Be inspired by their amazing conservatory, flower and vegetable garden. They even have their own "Buggington hotel" for bugs. Walk around the grounds, the lake, the cricket pitch and the classic bridge. Try and find the elephant hedge(pic below) in ode to Sadie the elephant who once roamed the gardens.

The house is amazing! So much history! The gardens are pretty fantastic as well, it’s so relaxing. The only problem I have is that it is quite far to get to if you do not live in the local area.

I went for a quick stroll on bank holiday Monday. It wasn't very busy but there was a fair few family with children and dog walkers around. I would recommend visiting if you live locally or visiting West London. Lots of paths and a river running through.

Small place with a lot of history. You have to book tickets before entering now. Quite expensive for such a small place I don't think is really worth buying tickets for but if you are an English Heritage member than it's alright. The most dissapointing thing is that you can't take photos indoors. Very wierd decision.

I highly recommend visiting the gardens. I came to see the house and gardens, but unfortunately there was an event happening at the house the day I came, so it was closed to the public. The gardens are generously equipped with benches to sit. The grounds are in immaculate condition and the statuary, lake and plantings are really pretty. The house, which dates from the early 18th century, is delightful and the gardens (designed by Kent) are in the best tradition of English landscaped gardens.

Beautiful garden, spacious, different little garden or places to enjoy the view and nature. The kitchen garden was not open unfortunately. The cafe has a variety of food, a bit pricey but worth it to try. The staff were friendly and helpful. The toilet looked fine. There is also a playground for children. Lovely place to visit!
