Beautiful view from Greenwich from the north side of the river from this beautiful and charming little park. Island Gardens holds the modern day view of Greenwich featured in Canaletto's famous 18th century painting, 'A View of Greenwich from the River'. Easily reachable from Greenwich by the foot tunnel under the river! There is a cafe and table for picnics!

Lovley small park on the Isle of Dogs with scenic views of the River Thames. A tunnel path allows you to traverse the River Thames to Greenwich. There is a nice cafe located in the gardens with bench tables to relax on. Plenty of grass to have a picnic on. Great for running, dog walking and letting kids have a run around. A real gem of a place that is worth a visit. 5 stars for cleanliness. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the best place to take a pictures of the Royal Naval and you have a decent view of Cutty Shark, Greenwich Garden and Canary Wharf. It is also the place from where you can walk under Tamis.

Clean. Next to park. You can go to Greenwich underwater foot tunnel from here in 5 minutes. You can walk to Canary Wharf in 30 minutes or by bus in 10 minutes.

My kids go wutain martial arts in Island Gardens and it's a beautiful place, the view is amazing. We live on the other side of the river and it's a convenient place as we only need to take the Greenwich foot tunnel. There is a nice Park next to the tunnel which is handy as my son can play while we are waiting for his siblings.

Lovely place to sit and chill, with a cup of coffee from stall just before the walkway entry. Will have a great view of Thames River and the Royal navy college, but Greenwich park too.

I did a great walk with my dog on a Sunday from island gardens down to east India dock. Pretty quiet for a weekend pandemic style, moments where the dog could be off the lead but also really good for an on lead walk. You only have to leave the river path 3 times. I found the map on the tfl website.

Amazing park. Green area nearby the busy area. That’s lovely to have a chance to unite with the nature in a huge city like London, feed animals, observe wild nature and just live your amazing life. I love London for places like this

This is a nice park. I went here while visiting London and was satisfied with my experience. This is a small park next to the Thames River with nice views of Greenwich. It has the entrance to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel. This is a grassy park with several trees to provide shade, but I couldn’t find a way to get to the Thames riverbank from here. Barbecuing isn’t allowed here. I gave this park five stars because it’s a nice green space with views of the Thames and Greenwich.

Island Gardens is a hidden gem in London. This park offers a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle, with stunning views of Canary Wharf across the river. The well-maintained greenery, peaceful walking paths, and benches make it a great spot for a leisurely stroll or a quiet picnic. It's especially beautiful during sunset. However, it can get crowded on weekends. Parking can be a challenge, so public transport is recommended. Overall, a picturesque urban oasis worth a visit.

Best place to enjoy your weekends. The place wakes up the Romeo and Juliet within you. Must visit if you are making a visit to Greenwich. Use the tunnel way to get here.

Always a pleasure to visit this small park, simply for the view across the Thames to Greenwich Naval College and Observatory. Described somewhere as on of the world's best views ? Entrance to the tunnel under the Thames is also here

I live in one of the high rise buildings and love the area of Island Gardens, it seems like the will be even some improvement happening soon with the opening of the cafe and public toilets. I love running and this area is always a place where I can rest, catch a breath and enjoy the views. it's always full of families, in the evening runners passing by, students and people walking their dogs. You can always hear people playing sports nearby, which is really cool :)

A lovely view in both the day and the Night. Stayed at an Airbnb near here and was a nice point to reflect on things after my 6th ever date finished and on the DLR back here. Also it's amazing to see foxes just walk around here at night and not be frightened of people by the road just outside the park. Also a nice way to get to walk under the Thames

This park is great. There's a really good view of canary wharf here! This park also connects to the Mudchute Park and Farm and right next to Island Gardens Tube station so extremely easy to get to. It's also close to the Greenwich foot tunnel that connects north london and south London so the park is very accessible where you're around East London.

An excellent place to enjoy time with fun people. I highly recommend visiting if you have friends with a terrace, river view and BBQ. After dark enjoy beat saber, great music selection and glitter.

Always a pleasure to come here , nice shades on most path on sunny days, ideal for a walk to Greenwich using the under river pedestrian tunnel , even if today was with a lift renovation problem... plenty of parking around here download the Ringo App and yiu are set , bit on the expensive side at £8p/h but cheaper than going all the way round paying the tunnel and maybe getting stuck in traffic.

Very nice and very clean area to sit down and view Greenwich across the river from and to watch the many boats go by. It's more peaceful on this side of the river than on the other side.

Gorgeous views of Greenwich and the city of London. Especially on hot days. It's a lovely place to go. You can picnic on the grass or relax on a bench. There's also a really nice cafe just footsteps away for all your food and drink cravings. With a farm also nearby giving you lots to do in this location.

By the river, with Greenwich on the other side as a beautiful sight. Quite place to be. There is a path along the Thames and you can cross the river through the tunnel
