I want to start with the good. I had my 40th birthday here, so we were a big group. We went for bottomless brunch and my food was delicious and the booze was flowing. However! Booking was very difficult! The only way to book is online, even if you phone and go through the automated system, it sends a link to book (for my group size anyway). It's an important event to me, and I wanted to speak to someone. Eventually I got someone to ring me, but even they stuck to email in the end. I was told that we had to preorder and at 13:15 (our booking was at 13:00) the food would start arriving. We could order extras or sides on the day if we wanted to, but they would take a bit longer than the food. On the day, food didn't start arriving until 13:40, and the last person eventually got their meal 14:30. I ordered the burger, which was delicious, but compared to the other dishes was not a lot of food (but was the same price). I was starving and asked to order (and pay) for more, but was told the kitchen was too busy. The person serving us (Jack) was very polite and friendly and kept the booze flowing, but he needed help from the kitchen and the other staff, and to us it felt as if he wasn't getting it. This has the potential to be great, but these issues need addressing.

What a great surprise ! We went back to the Breakfast Club Canary Wharf after a terrible experience. This time everything was so different. New staff , very welcoming and friendly. Quick service even if we waited way too long to get our coffees. The pub option is also a great idea. Even when the place gets very busy , it is still enough room between the tables to get a good privacy. The food is freshly made, the pancakes are delicious and the fresh juices are great. Well Done !

Good comfort breakfast food with subpar welcoming service Atmosphere 4/5 Location 3/5 Service 1/5 Greeting Promptness 3/5 Seating Promptness 0/5 Taking Food Order Promptness 2/5 Food Delivery Promptness 1/5 Food choices 4/5 Food Quality 3/5 Value 3/5 The Restaurant: The Breakfast Club is about a 2 minute walk from Canary Wharf train station and about a 5 minute walk from the Canary Wharf tube. It has outdoor seating, indoor ground floor seating (a few tables) and indoor 1st floor seating (larger area). The interior design is quirky. The vibe is friendly. The Service: Even though there were at least 3 tables to sit my family of 4 outside, the brunette hostess said we had to wait 30 minutes because they were full and took my phone number to text when seats were available. There was one family of 4 that came after us to the restaurant and just sat down at the tables outside without even talking to the hostess. She didn’t mind and took their food order. Another family group of 4 came in and asked if there were any seats available and the brunette looked outside and brought 2 tables together to seat them. I went up to her to remind her that we didn’t mind sitting outside either and she said sorry we still have to wait. Once we sat down 30 minutes later we got a nice waitress but it took her a while to get our order in. It also took a long time to get our food. The Food: There were many comfort breakfast food options. We had avocado toast (3/5), eggs Benedict (3/5), English breakfast (4/5), home style potatoes (4/5), sausage (3/5) and orange juice (4/5). Total per person cost was 27.54 pounds. Tips: If you see an open seat outside just sit down and the waitress will take your order and clean the table if it is dirty.

Yes to food, yes to cocktails, yes to staff and yes to entertainment! We’ve tried deluxe breakfast with rib eye steak and double cheese burger, juicy! Food was really nice, and pancakes are real American style, not some fluffy English version. Delicious cocktails, and staff so friendly that we spend few good hours eating, drinking and playing old school games on vending machine!

Went for a friends birthday and I’m so glad I did. We were seated quickly although it was at the lower back area where it’s a little bit run down looking and not super comfortable, but it was still nice. Waiter was attentive and friendly. They do let dogs in which is fine but the dog that was there was super loud - not the venues fault but nobody asked the owner to take the dog outside or get it to be quiet. We got the Nashville Benedict and the Chicken and Waffles. Food was perfect! Staff were super accommodating to some changes that we requested. Overall it was a delicious experience and I will be returning for sure.

I used to live and work in Canary Wharf, so upon visiting I had to stop by one of my favorite food spots. It did not disappoint! I ordered the Chicken and Gravy with a side of Waffle’s. It comes with two sides but because I love Chicken and Waffles I asked if both sides can be waffles. I usually don’t like gravy but at The Breakfast Club I smothered it all over my chicken. I ordered the kids pancakes for my son and he devoured it. The berries were fresh and the pancakes nice and fluffy. It came with ice cream, which was a nice touch. This location doesn’t make the Mac n Cheese like the one in Spitalfields but maybe that’s a good thing as I was already full and satisfied with what I ordered. The service was great. The young lady who served our table was really sweet and nice. She has a wonderful way with kids. So spoke to my son and even answered his questions. I wouldn’t describe it as a family restaurant due to signs about sex and drugs but my son didn’t notice that….I don’t think. It is a cheeky restaurant. At the time we visited there was limited seating as much of the dining area was closed and we could only sit in the main dining area or outside. Other than that it was great food and good experience.

Visited on a Sunday morning with two families, 4 kids under 5. I’m not sure we were very popular as we appeared to be the only table with children! However, the staff made sure we had a table big enough with space for the kids and catered for us well. Food came out reasonably quick despite the venue being very busy. Food was good quality and quite well priced in my view for Canary Wharf. Overall very pleased with our experience here. P.s. has a lift for easy access with prams etc.

My friend and I visited this for the first time and honestly we really enjoyed it. It’s quite busy and popular inside because it’s really good vibes. The service was good, food came really quickly. I personally really enjoyed the pancakes no complaints from me, it did what it needed to do! My friend was a little disappointed by the Bean Shakshouka, thought it could’ve had more flavour but overall we did enjoy our time here and we will be back trying more things on the menu!

Visited today for a late breakfast and enjoyed very much. Huge choice on menu and the atmosphere and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious too! We had eggs Benedict and the blueberry pancakes and we both found our dishes delicious. My only criticism is the food was not very hot which was a slight disappointment. The coffee was not hot either and not great value at £3.75 for a fairly small cup. Having said that I will definitely return and would recommend. Very very nice!

Not good. Went for breakfast and wanted to give Breakfast club another chance after going twice already with mediocre experience. Overall, food was bad, service was good. Food was lukewarm with full English and muffin was apparently chewy and warm which wasn't good. I think I've given the restaurant enough chances here... But how do you get biscuit dry levels of toast... It's toast for crying out loud.

Despite system errors throughout all the businesses of the building, the staff at The Breakfast Club adapted and excelled at customer service. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Our food was probably the best we've had this vacation.

Great service and good food at the Breakfast Club! We ordered the Veggie American pancakes, Disco Fries, Mac & cheese, and the cheeseburger - the best was definitely the Mac & cheese. Probably one of the best I’ve had. Overall, the service was spot on - the staff were very friendly, prompt, and had a sense of humour. The food was also very good. Mac & Cheese and the fries were definitely winners for us. Everything else was good, the only improvement would be on the veggie bacon which seemed to be this isn’t bacon bacon - it was a bit overdone. This was probably down to them being slightly understaffed in the kitchen, hardly an issue for the customer given the circumstances. Will have to come back and play the arcade games which are also complimentary. Overall, was a solid experience!

Fond memories of The Breakfast Club being amazing and this place although great just fell short of it. My main experience was in the hackney branch. Service was great, we were quickly seen. We picked upstairs, surprisingly they had a good layout compared to downstairs with their tiny tables. It was a little dark upstairs but manageble. Look at the pics where the lighting is a little strange! Food was lovely and tasted great, the chicken tasted amazing! The plate just felt there was something missing even though the portion size was good. Chips were extra. Menu was a little confusing. Not sure why don't offer their pre 12pm breakfast which is essentially the same as their lunch breakfast but with some bits like bacon/black pudding as extra. The full English looked and tasted nice. Not sure what's meant by "22 beans" but you get a small pot of beans. Juices are on the pricey side, small glass not worth it, large is normal size but costs £7. Overall good place to check out, definitely a great breakfast option. Not sure if I'll go for dinner here.

Really nice place and atmosphere. Staffs were nice and friendly and the customer service was decent. You’ll probably have to wait for a bit on weekends after 10:00 but they'll leave your number and send u a text when your table is ready. The food is the BEST!! Really enjoyed the pancakes. Strongly recommend it!

We had breakfast here last week and we liked it. Staff were nice and friendly and customer service was good. Food was good as well and it look like they have few new good food options. The only downside was that we had to wait quite long fir our food to arrive. We had berries pancakes which was delicious, eggs royal which was good but the muffin bread was a bit dry, french toast side which was good as well and mac and cheese which was really good. Kids enjoyed their chocolate shake which the staff kindly divide it to two cups as they don’t have kids portion, kids pancakes and chips. The sitting area is really nice and comfy.

Popular place we waited some time for a table. Once seated very friendly and courteous staff, extremely attentive to customers. Breakfast and drinks were great and on point can't fault it. We'll be back thank you so much Ashton and your lovely colleagues for taking good care of us all! 😊

Definitely coming back to go through the menu. The mains were massive, so much flavour. Wasn't a fan of the brioche french toast with nuts on top. Tasted weird. But definitely get involved. So much to choose on the main dish menu. It's located right under the big easy/sky garden. They've just opened a pub at the back. It's currently a hidden gem. Get in there before everyone else finds out. Parking is free on weekends for 3 hours in Canary Wharf if you spend over £10. Otherwise it's reasonable. Recommended.

As in the other branches, the pancakes there are simply amazing. If you aren't sure which ones to get, go for the sweet ones, with the cream on top. A great benefit is that they have early bird bookings even on Sunday, until 9:30. Book ahead, come early, come hungry. You won't be disappointed.

The place is just very authentic early eighties vibe. Formica tables, arcade games and subdued lighting. Our food was lovely the truffles mushroom egg benedict is outstanding. The sausage burger my daughter had, she said was amazing. I loved my rise and shine mimosa and my daughter loved her mixed fruit juice. Thank you to our waitress she was funny. Xx

We went for a brunch to the restaurant and were very lucky to get to sit at a table outside. I probably did not make the best choice for a meal but i ordered pancakes with eggs and a sauce but it was too strange combination for my taste. Overall i liked the place the view was nice , staff kind. I saw people waiting a lot to get it so maybe it is a popular place to go. Next time if i go i would order a good old burger :)

Amazing as always, I’ve always loved my breakfast with them at the old shop at soho I guess it’s under maintenance at the moment. Not a cafe, not a shop, not a branch, not a unit, not a restaurant. Just a caf. There was also a time they called them a hipster hangout but thankfully that was just a passing phase. They don’t profess to being cool, because they’re not. They make comfort food. They make warm fuzzy feeling in the pit of your stomach food. They make ‘is my gran in your kitchen?’ food. They make ‘3 star ethically sourced good for the planet’ food. Everyone is welcome. Me, your mum, my grandad, your uncle Albert, little Jonnie and all our best pals. Everyone is welcome. At one point they tried to save the world with varying degrees of success. But they’ll leave that to Greta as they feel she’s doing a much better job. They’ll stick to being a caf and supporting there local communities.

Tried the huevos rancheros, which was decent. The eggs were of fabulous quality. Service was a bit slow at times, but the overall brunch experience was quite pleasant.

This place has a captivating atmosphere coupled with wonderful service from the friendly staff, which is only eclipsed by the delicious food and the generous portion size! I dare not eat here too often as will no doubt have to expand my jeans size, but it’s a tempting trade off…

Went here for team brunch last week. The location is convenient, service and staff are good. I ordered a coffee and veggie spoon( veg version of English breakfast). It tasted okaish apart from the plantain which was very dry. This place didn’t live to the hype. The decor is quite old school.

Stopped in for breakfast on our first morning visiting London from America. We really enjoyed ourselves. The place has a complete 1970s vibe with the wood paneled walls, the vintage posters, and 70s music. The food was good greasy spoon style breakfast food. The coffee was excellent as well. We would recommend trying this place out.

A very popular restaurant in the canary wharf area. Use phone to order foods. Interestingly, no detailed descriptions are given so you don’t know exactly what American deluxe, for example, is about. It is busy so need to wait at least 20-30 minutes for the food. Overall good foods and good services. The only food I found too salty is the pork spare rib 😂

Hate to give the service 3 stars as the waiter was very good but it was so slow waited ages to be served then for drinks, my husband had to ask what was going on. They were busy and the waiter was great but just had to wait... There was also a really load noise that kept going off?! (No explanation) That was really annoying the food however was good the breakfast roll was great I did get hash browns instead of the home fries id ordered but by this point was starving so ate those, they were good.

Well that was quirky! We had a cookery class to attend and had 30 minutes to spare with a calling for coffee and hot chocolate. Wandered in to check they did hot chocolate (why wouldn't they!?). It was late afternoon with only a handful of people littering the upstairs and downstairs combined. We liked that 'empty' look although wonder how different it would have been pre-pandemic. I don't do coffee...long story...ask me someday. Wife had coffee and I took the hot chocolate. Full of praise. Very creamy even without the offered marshmallows....I don't do marshmallows....long story...as me sometime.

Pleasantly surprised. The berry pancakes with cream was great, not too much and not too little, while also not being overly sweet. The additional dish we had was also great - perfect mix of flavours! The oat flat white was also very good - something I admit, I did not expect! Lastly, the service was great from start to finish; attentive and prompt. I definitely recommend a visit!!

Great place for breakfast. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff. Wide selection of breakfasts. We ate here twice while spending a long weekend in London & will be back. It gets busy but they have a booking service where they text or let you know via an app that your table is ready. I ate the vegetarian breakfast which was tasty & the sausages were delicious

Greta service, server hurried up our order as we were catching the train. Sour dough, avocado and the egg was just done perfectly. The green juice was refreshing and highly recommend this on a summer morning. My friend had the burrito and coffee- exactly the same deliciousness was explained.

Cute place right off the Elizabeth line Canary Wharf tube station (take left off the top of the escalator it on your left a little bit down the walkway). Kind of funky place but very comfortable. We ate upstairs. Service was efficient and friendly. The smashed avocado and egg looked very good. I had the scrambled eggs on toast with home style potatoes. I thought they were tasty. I would like to come back and try the pancakes.
