Fun place, always full of friendly people. Laid back atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, good (and reasonably priced) beers, tasty pies. Wonderful, friendly bar staff to boot! Went down for a BMW evening and had a laugh!

Intimate and original venue. Good selection of drinks at the bar, including kombucha for something a bit different. Tasty pies including a vegan option. The true host of the place is the cat called Ghost

First time here, Dom was my favourite server ive ever had. such a kind person with such a great sense of humour. please give this guy a raise!!!!! love him, will be coming back xxxx

Interesting venue with start up comedy and music. Coke can tinnies are about 3.50. Pies and similar food is sold at the bar.

Checked this place out last night following a recommendation. I live very nearby and thought I knew the area well, but I'd always missed Matchstick Piehouse - and have really been missing out too! I went for the quiz with a couple of friends, and had such a great time. They have a small, but perfectly curated drinks menu - their beers and cider are all from Lewisham - and they do veggie and vegan pies with mash and gravy. The quizmaster was very entertaining, and the quiz itself was a bit challenging but not ridiculously so. On Mondays they do cabaret, the quiz on Tuesday, and live music or theatre the rest of the week. I'll be sure to return from all of these activities, and you should too!

First time here last night for the folk night, absolute dream of place! everyone was lovely, beauitufl atmosphere, cheap good beer! Will 100 percent be back!

Went to see a circus show there by 'Collectif and then'..awesome show, beautiful little venue, super chill atmosphere, great books in the toilet, tasty beer and friendly staff! What more could you want?

Good vibes, cheap pints

Great venue, watched a play there, great use of limited space. The local cider was good and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the visit and the play and the cider.

Attended a great Jazz Jam session here, basic amenities but the people care and it’s all about the music. Really affordable tickets, local brews supplied in bottles or cans, and an interesting double height space, great place to meet friends.
