Awesome spot, super unassuming. The owner, Pietro greeted us with high fives and forehead kisses when we walked in as if long friends ☺️ We also got a tour of his favourite collection rooms of treasures from around the globe and got to see his wedding pics. The guy has some passion for life and music that radiates energy into the rest of the patrons at the pub, everyone is smiling and having a great time. Great pint of Guinness and food was insane. Try the Norma and the breaded anchovies 😙👌🏻 Also live music was great! Will be returning next time I'm in UK ❤️

Bf told me this is his favourite pub in England. Finally had a chance to visit this place with him and I must say, it's pretty good. Welcoming owner who immediately warm-heartedly greets you with "welcome home" (on the way out of the pub, I notice the sign at the entrance that also reads "welcome home"). Nice atmosphere and great lighting. The eclectic decor is a feast for your eyes. Staff got one of our orders wrong but that's ok, we all make mistakes sometimes. Didn't have to wait long for our actual main to arrive. Hope to visit this place again when they have the live band playing.

Came here early on a Sunday with the aim of having a few beers, didn't really know what to expect. The vibe is so good here - so many interesting objects filling up the space, each with a story to tell. The owner, Pietro, was around and ended up giving me and my friends a tour - he is so gregarious and welcoming. We sampled three of the dessert dishes, which were all delicious; I would recommend their home made cannoli, which was quite possibly the best I've ever had. Pietro's wife (Paola, I think?) was also very warm and friendly, asking how everything was. Other staff were great too. I definitely want to come back to try their pizzas and listen to some jazz! So good that there are places like this still in London, where so many pubs are quite soul-less and corporate. Would 100% recommend a visit!

Wonderful place and delicious food! The owner is super welcoming and the staff is really friendly. We had delicious pasta and pizza followed with a fantastic homemade tiramisù that brought me right back to Italy. Beautiful place and beautiful people. Can’t wait to come back next time we’ll be in London!

Gorgeous pub with amazing wine selection. The icing on the cake was the prices and the mention of vivimos ratings which helps to narrow the options. Mr Andrea was lovely and chatted with us through the options. Their food options were grand and would recommend this pub for food or desserts. They have big screens for matches which is a plus too

This place is a great little find for Italian food, you will always get a warm greeting from the owner or from the family. The main theme for this venue is good hearty food that will fill you up, menu is varied and the drinks menu is extensive. We always end up getting too much food but food is tasty and good value. Sadly, I have had to edit this review after going back today. The menu has been adjusted and all the previous main dishes that had some gluten free options have now gone. Sad to see as this was the main reason we went. If they could bring back those options we will be back. Update to owners q: did ask about the change on the menu and was told all the options were tagged gluten free that could be adjusted. Only 1/2 dishes were shown as being ones that could be made gluten free compared to the very wide options. Even rechecked the menu from your qr code and it showed the same. Glad to hear the full menu is back and hopefully see all the menu options back.

The atmosphere is excellent. This is great family pub, the people who are running this pub are really really helpful, nice. This place is crowded, full of energy, good music and typical Italian food. Italy in the middle of Greenwich.

This pub does excellent Italian food at very reasonable prices. The owners are very friendly although their English is not great and they sometimes get confused with the order. Atmosphere is lovely and they have a pleasant jazz band on a Sunday afternoon.

Very good food-in our case the meat and cheese board and a stuffed calamari. I had their craft beer of the month, which I loved and promptly forgot the name of, and my wife had one of her favorite single malt whiskies. It also calls itself a museum pub, which in this case means full of entertaining bric-a-brac like porcelain rhinoceros and a gigantic rhino head over our table. Good food, great beer selection, good service. Near to.Greenwich Observatory and the Maritime Museum, but a little out of the way. Found it with Google maps.

Proper Italian food menu served in a restaurant with a very characteristic decorated, the waiters are very nice and always happy to help, even they recommend the best dishes and proper Sicilian food! The ambiance is nice and always is full so you need to book in advance just in case.

Hands-down THE BEST dining experience I have EVER had in the entire UK. We were greeted at the door by the owner himself, who looked us in the eye and said “welcome home”. The food was to die for. Incredibly authentic and very fresh. Every member of the team was very attentive and we were treated as if we were family! The entire pub is full top to bottom with treasures from around the world. It’s a giant curio cabinet! Most busy restaurants seem to make you feel like a burden, but THIS place truly made us feel welcome in every way even though it was slam packed with people. I will 100% be going out of my way to return to this establishment in the future. I can’t sing it’s praises enough!

We stop by for a quick break from the rain and have a bite and a drink. This seems the most popular pub for the locals (especially the Italians) very busy on a Saturday afternoon but we managed to squeeze in without booking (lucky us) thanks for the very welcoming staff. The service is good even when it’s being super busy which is rare in London.

This is definitely my favorite pub in Greenwich! The owners and the staff are really kind and friendly. Their menu is totally Italian with a high food quality. Me and my friends we had pizzas and pastas as a main last night, and some “fritti misti” and a cheese and meat board as a starter, all of us were completely satisfied. They also have a variety of drinks, beers, Italian wines and cocktails. A pearl in Greenwich!

Wow! If you want to stay in a place where you're welcomed like family the moment you walk through the door, then look no further! The owners are both an absolute delight. Friendly, wonderful and welcoming doesn't even come close! Delicious food and lovely drinks brought to us by attentive staff really made our visit special. If we're ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to pop in!

Lived in Greenwich for many years and never knew about this gem - a friend told me about it and it is the greatest pub I’ve been to! Have been going regularly for a few months now - the owners are wonderful, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, amazing food and the wine is cheap but very good.

Wonderful Pub very close to Greenwich Park. Ambiance is great, very typical to any pub in UK. Staff is very friendly and nice. We tried their pizza and tiramisu, it was super delicious. I really loved the pizza and it was freshly prepared with wonderful flavours. Don’t miss this place if you are around Greenwich. There was slight delay in service at the beginning that’s why I deducted 1 star but 💯for food. It was worth the money and yeah prices are reasonable too.

Delicious marinara pizza. The dough was crispy and the marinara sauce was fresh. Toppings were perfect and not too much. Ricotta cake for dessert was out of the world. Smooth and creamy, perfectly baked and I expected a more intense lemon flavour but what I got instead was a more hazelnut flavour which I liked even more.

Fantastic food and service. The pub is like a museum. Met the owner on the way out seems like such a lovely gentleman. You can just tell he’s a cool dude and passionate about his place. The carbonara was the best I’ve ever had! Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to visit again. 10/10

Wonderful place in Greenwich! Pizzas were great and authentic, Italian host and the staff generally were all amazing. Atmosphere in the pub is very cosy and friendly. There was a nice live band performance too on Sunday afternoon. Loved it!

A very quirky style pub. A lot of stuff making no sense. Probably what makes it funny and interested. It was our first tine here, just stopped for a quick drink. But called my attention that the menu is italian. The pizzas were looking very nice. Definitely planning to come there to eat.

We stayed in the pub and had dinner. The owners must be the most hospitable welcoming charming publicans in all of England. The decor is eclectic colourful and cool, the staff wonderful and the food is really tasty and good value. We started with the Bruschetta of brie honey and anchovy… surprisingly tasty! A great night was spent here and I would recommend it to all my family and friends.

Absolutely wonderful place - always a warm and welcoming atmosphere from Pietro and Paola. Plus the food is delicious! Had my recent birthday here and despite being heaving (the mark of a popular venue!), they made it special and personal. Thank you, Paula (as Pietro wasn't well that day) xxx

Not your average pub. Worth going just to see the place. Really good pizza with thin crusty base (if that's what you like, as I do). Also affordable prices... It's a new favourite!

I would like to be more enthusiastic. In the past, pizzas great, and worth the long wait for them to emerge from the kitchen. Last Saturday with overseas guests, we traipsed up Royal Hill -- we arrived 1pm and the bar wasn't even fully open. Who ever heard of that? It did open shortly after, but we had reserved a table at 1pm for drinks and dinner. The food was ordered, but only at 13.45 as the small number of "serving" staff did not seem particularly interested in serving anything. The pizzas took 45 minutes to come, which was frankly ridiculous. No-one really cared (except the customers) and to be frank they were a tad underwhelming to taste, though boy were we hungry. £116 for 5 people. Overall, a disappointment on the day, and we will find other better pubs in and around Greenwich. A pity, as its "Cabinet of Curiosities" vibe was good, though maybe should not have extended to the staff running it.

Really lovely place. Great food, excellent Italian dishes. Atmosphere is lively. And the staff could not be friendlier. Just an all round great vibe. (Tip: ask for the couch when booking, it's worth it).

Do not miss this gem !!! Amazing Italian food. Wonderful warm host/owner. Brilliant atmosphere. Everything we had was so tasty and beautifully presented. It's casual AND family friendly. Bustling but not terribly loud. VERY reasonable for the delightful food. I highly recommend a stop. We'll be back to try more menu options.

A gem of a find on Royal Hill, maybe 5 mins walk from the touristy centre of Greenwich - very popular with locals, for good reason. Welcoming and homely atmosphere with fantastic Italian dishes in a quirky, fun pub setting. Generous portions too and fantastic value. Highly recommended.

First time in. The pub has such cozy and warm environment, that makes you feel like home on arrival. The owner is very friendly and speaks to everyone, on arrival and departure. Food was excellent and the entire team was very kind. Totally recommend 👌 looking foward to go back 😄

The place is a must! Good food and extremely friendly people working there! The owner makes you feel as you are one of his old good friend. All the staff are also great and makes this place even more special. Impossible not to enjoy the place.

Dropped in on this pub ad-lib + on the advice of T.A. What a place! Still seeing the Rhino😳 Happy engaging staff + Two favourite beers on tap Timothy Taylor "Landlord" + Gamma Ray. Excellent food. Shared mussels to start (+ the suggested & delivered extra bread. Thank you sir!) Pizza's for mains (plenty of other beauties on the menu to choose from) thoughtfully created recipes on the finest baked thin crust. DELICIOUS!! 😋 All this was supplemented by a background of cool jazz + some Billy Holiday & Otis etc.🎶🎷 Thought l'd died & gone to heaven! Never stop looking for something new! I've been a pub manager for over a decade. Having very recently called time l nearly asked this fella for a room & a job ha! Congratulations! Thank you for creating such a fine, fine house🙏

This pub is local to us and have been curious to visit due to its high rating. Very friendly owner and great atmosphere. We had a very lovely meal here. Enjoyed particularly the capers pizza and canollis! Sad they didn't have the black ink pasta but maybe its not in season. Definitely will come back🥰

My favourite pub in Greenwich. The Italian food they serve is delicious (I dream of their lasagne) but the people are the best. Huge love for Paola who welcomed 30 of us upstairs one Thursday. You won't find a more interesting pub to look at either - packed with museum items they've collected over the years.

This is our third time visiting this pub and as usual the service and food was excellent. The owner of this establishment is always very welcoming to the customers. I highly recommend anyone in the area to go. I had the Parma ham and rocket pizza and the chocolate calzone.
