What can I say? £7 for black out night at up the creek, one to remember for sure. Wanted to Tick comedy club off the bucket list and so glad we picked here! Fun for me and my friends, great comedy and an amazing atmosphere, would definitely recommend if you love comedy, also good drinks selection and nice clean toilets 🎭

I haven't been up the creek for a while and nearly walked past it! It has been redecorated and looks fantastic. We had a brilliant night, the acts were hilarious. Cant wait to go back

SO GOOD! Thursday nights is all about 'The Blackout' night. Basically means each act has 5 mins, quite literally the best idea as they have to be right off the mark. Most acts were brilliant and takes some guts to do this. In terms of the location it's right by the DLR Greenwich station but also only around the corner from Greenwich Overground station too. When walking in it's brilliantly set out. The bar is ace and a great choice of drinks all round. Had a look at the food menu and saw others trying various items too. Caters for all too! A good, affordable night for most. Great for a date night, go with friends or family too. There was a real mix which was nice to see also. Also if you dare, sit towards the front you could be picked to have one of the cards, which means if the act is rubbish you get the chance to vote them off stage. Solid A***** LDT x

Boys night out but the headline act killed the atmosphere! It was all going so well until the headline act came on, a Canadian lady. Didn't read the room and it fell flat. All the acts up to that point were really great and funny. End of night it turned into a nightclub but everyone had left! Maybe 25 people remained. We left too, which was a real shame. First came here 30 years ago, which is scary! Will come back, just an off night.

My friend and I arrived to the venue and was greeted by someone who was pleasant and helpful. He showed us where to go and where to get drinks. We went to our chairs and was happy with the temperature in the room. I thought it would be hot but the aircon kept us cool. We sat and laughed out heads off listening to the excellent comedian Mo Gilligan work out some new material. A great experience.

Seen several acts here and never been disappointed. Small, intimate space which affords for plenty of interaction with the audience. Food and drink available, both good and not overly expensive.

A brilliant night of comedy. Nice venue but drinks aren't the cheapest. We started off drinking in the Weatherspoons across the road before the comedy started to keep the cost down a bit. If drinks were more reasonably priced I'd probably be in there earlier and stay for the disco/club bit afterwards too. If you're richer than me though, it's a great venue. I definitely will return

Great night out. Would have had 5stars but the seats were very narrow and it was a squeeze per row. Also started late and very long intervals between just 20min per comedian (not including the host.) All in all a good night out.

Actually a great club, also the beers and pretty tasty with a decent selection. Staff super friendly too. One of the jokes was about Elon Musk, which I didn't appreciate but willing to overlook that as the rest were pretty funny.

Went on a Blackout Thursday where 15 comedians each have 5 mins to make or break it. After two minutes, they can be voted off and I was lucky to be one of 3 audience members that would raise a card to vote the act off. I enjoyed being part of the show in some respects and the quick fire comedy was fun. It was like speed dating for a comedian. The only improvement is that food should there could be quicker to make. I got halloumi fries but was waiting for a good 15 mins or so and got a handful portion so in my opinion, took too long to get.

Had a brilliant evening here! The line up was good- it's an intimate place with a very good vibe. Staff all seemed friendly from the door guys to the bar staff. Will definitely return!

Been 3 Fridays in a row. Two have literally been the best nights out, funniest comedians and the crowd were really up for it. But one evening the comedy was poor and the crowd was thin and annoying. Im not sure if others knew the comedy wouldn't be amazing hence the thin crowd. Either way I would highly recommend, and student tickets are £2. A great venue too.

Great venue and the Saturday night entertainment is brilliant. It has two bars that serve a good range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, has a large room for the acts to perform in which holds plenty of people. Some seating has small tables available too. After the Saturday entertainment they also host a night club/ bar with music and space to dance. Located across the road from the DLR and a short walk from Greenwich railway station it's easy to get to and from.

Still a great venue to unwind. Went to Up the Creek yesterday for the first time in decades. Just as much fun as I remember it.

Great night of comedy, washed down with a few pints from the on-site micro brewery. Both the beer and stand-up were very good. Will go again when next in the area.

Normally very good, too many large parties there on Saturday, who were more interested in talking amongst themselves than listening to the acts. The staff did try and keep order, and I think some people were asked to leave.... Guess it has something to do with the time of year....😇

I've driven past this comedy establishment for a good 2 years and never found the time to actually pay it a visit. Luckily, I have amazing friends who know me so well! Booked and paid for entry online to see up and coming comedians. (If it's your birthday month, you get 1 free entry. That's probably why my friends booked it, lol.) When you arrive, you will be greeted by some lovely hench men/ security/ Men In Black, with a clip board, as you have to be on the list to get it. Fancy! So, being a bunch of VIPs, we entered and had a paper bracelet put on our wrists and went to find our seats. The comedy act itself was pretty good for up and coming with a live audience to interact with. (Most of whom were 50+) I was pleased with what I saw and would be happy to pay to go again. Prices can be found online. When the act is finished, all the chairs are cleared from the middle of the floor, and a dj comes on to start the dancing for the night. Classic bangers and old school clubbing music. Again, I also enjoyed this part of the night too. The prices were okay. I got a small glass of coke and a pint of coke for under £5 and my friends who were drinking got a double and mixer for about £10. I don't think that's too bad considering I flatiron rates etc. The staff were lovely, and everyone I spoke to was nice, friendly and polite or funny and sarcastic, hahaha. There is a great atmosphere to this comedy club for any age group, 18 and above. They also sell food. Can't remember what it was called, chicken slov-something, maybe? Greek food. Anyway, it was the best thing I've ever had. It's was fresh, full of flavour and crunchy salad in a soft but firm flat bread with greek style fries loaded in it as well. I'd go back just for one of them. It was defo the size of an average 8-10yr olds head, so it's quite big for a wrap and under £15...bargain! They have a beef or veggie option in a wrap style or bowl. Great value for money. There is a seated and sheltered smoking area out front with plenty of cigarette bins around. Drinks are allowed outside while the comedy acts are on, but when the comedy is over and the dj comes on, no drinks are allowed outside. Toilets, speaking for the women, were well stocked and clean with plenty of space. All in all, it's a good night out with friends, for a laugh, or a cute date night, older gents stag do, whatever tickles your fancy. I would definitely recommend and would happily go again. P.S. If you've never been to a live comedy act before, you should know that talking to each other during the show will get you shushed by the security men aggressively as its the rudest thing you could do. It's taken very seriously, so remember to keep it quiet while the acts are on. I didn't realise that one of my friends didn't know this before going in lol

Attended the "Blackout" night on Thursday: what a great show. MC was great, the concept is really fun and some of these comedians are really talented. Proper comedy room, with a dedicated bar and restaurant.

It's been a while since I attended... And I made up part of the older 25% of clientele at the tender age of 40somethingabouthalfway. Bloody funny night and audience was excellent. Beer was not cheap but was good quality. A good night.
