A really amazing experience! We spent a couple of hours here, climbing up ladders, using the interactive screens and exploring all the rooms. Some rooms are a really tight fit you have to breath in! The volunteers were so helpful. It's best to go this time of year as there aren't many schools visiting and it's much cooler. I'll definitely be going again in the near future!

Amazing day trip with the family. Perfect place to go if you any interest in WW2 or Ships. Stunningly preserved and really well presented. Lots to see and do. Very interactive for big and little kids. Lots of atmosphere. Lots of ladders so you need to be fairly agile. Lovely day out. Takes about 2 hours. Nice picnic and cafe facilities. Very highly recommended. A must. PS - Pre booking is needed

It was such a lovely experience visiting HMS Belfast. The vessel is full of history and it's so interesting to explore all 9 decks. We were given audio handsets that explained the history of specific parts of the ship. The crew also gave a brilliant talk about how the ship operated - they were very knowledgeable. The onboard cafe was good and there was also a nice seating area out in the open where the pigeons keep you company! ☺️ The views of the river are lovely, especially on a summer's day. The gift shop was nice and the staff there were friendly and helpful.

If you're plotting a course through London's sea of attractions, make sure to anchor down at HMS Belfast. This historic warship, permanently moored on the River Thames near Tower Bridge, isn't just a sight to behold; it's a deep dive into Britain's naval history. With its prime location in the heart of London, HMS Belfast offers both an intriguing day out and a strategic spot from which to navigate the rest of the city's treasures. Boarding HMS Belfast, you're stepping into a time capsule. This Royal Navy cruiser played a pivotal role in World War II and beyond, and today serves as a living museum, inviting adventurers of all ages to explore its decks and delve into the life of sailors during some of the 20th century's most significant maritime moments. Here's a fascinating tidbit to pique your interest: HMS Belfast is the only surviving vessel of her type to have been active during the D-Day landings. Walking through her corridors, you're tracing the steps of heroes, surrounded by the echoes of history. It's an immersive experience that connects you to the past in a profound and personal way. The ship's location couldn't be better. Nestled between the iconic Tower Bridge and the historic Tower of London, HMS Belfast is a gem in London's crown of attractions. After exploring the ship, you can easily set sail to other nearby landmarks or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the South Bank, making it a perfect addition to any London itinerary. So, why not chart a course for HMS Belfast on your next London visit? It's an opportunity to engage with history hands-on, offering insights and stories that resonate long after you disembark. Whether you're a history buff, a maritime enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique London experience, HMS Belfast is sure to captivate. Drop it a like, drop it a visit, and dive into the adventure – it's an expedition worth every moment.

Missed visiting this on previous holidays, but this time around I finally got to see it. You can either have an audio guide or do a self guided tour and I opted for the latter. Despite having a map of the ship it was a little confusing at times as to how to access the various areas, which direction to follow and as a consequence I never made it to the engine rooms. You'll also have to descend and ascend a number of steep stairs if you want to access all areas, so if stairs aren't your thing you may want to forego visiting the ship. It's an amazingly well preserved ship, gives you a great appreciation of how the crew lived, what they had to endure and the various functional areas.

Been meaning to visit this for many years. It was well worth the wait. I suggest researching the history of the ship beforehand to get the most out of your visit. There are lots of steep steps, so be aware of this and your own physical abilities before buying a ticket. On a side note, we picked up an interesting snippet of info about why the forward guns are pointed where they are, but if I told you, I would have to kill you 🙂

Absolutely wonderful experience, extremely open and easily navigable, even for a warship, arrows and directions are clear yet there not being a set one way system allowing you to visit lower decks with ease, fabulous conditions excluding a dual-purpose 4inch cannon undergoing rust, however, it was pointed out to be undergoing renovation and it is understandable that a 87 year old or thereabouts warship will have some rusting. Wonderful to sit on the decks and just enjoy the breeze and great for taking photos, gift shop has not only memorabilia but also information on naval warships including those which mention Belfast in the Battle of the North Cape. I would absolutely recommend anyone who can go does go as it is a fabulous experience for all

We loved the trip to HMS Belfast! It was a really cool dip into history inside and on the old battleship. Really interactive with games, sounds and realistic view of what it was like to live on this ship. The rooms were interesting, climbing the ship to the different areas was cool and being on the deck of the ship was a cool experience. You can sit in the captain's chair, enter the gun area and have a good look at all the areas. The cafe was good. It have sandwiches, drinks and cakes. Not really a cooked place although they did heat up the baguettes. We went on the hottest day of the year (our fault 😅) and it was really good. The ship shielded the heat for a while. Though we did get a bit confused on where we were - maybe there should be a map every now and then to show where you currently are on the ship.

Better than most other London tourist attractions! Well worth the money and a few hours of your time. Almost the entire ship is accessible. Lots of ladders to climb and areas to explore. Surprisingly very little is roped off (except for some smaller staged rooms that are meant for viewing). Way down in the boiler and engine room was my favorite. Not too busy either (mid Wednesday).

Experience living history on this grand old war hero. It was a privilege to explore the decks, and see what it was like for the brave men and women who served aboard this great ship. It's a great work out too, nine decks to explore, lots of ladders, and hatches to go through. Good place to take children. A wonderful experience.

A suberb group experience that I would recommend. We visited as a group of 15+ and provided conservation voluntary work and polished the gallery to help maintain its pristine state. We also had a brilliant tour with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. I would recommend wearing suitable footwear to climb steep ladder steps and uneven decking. It's a great experience and a valuable insight into history. I do hope to return soon.

Amazing bit of history. If you have an interest in WW2 history or ships, this is a must see display. It’s very much as it was when service ended, so there are lots of steep narrow ladders required to go between decks. If you have mobility issues this probably isn’t one where you will be able to see everything

A unique experience and a lot to learn about. We really enjoyed it, and there were some kids activities. Was really good to know the ship history and see the different ship part. Enjoying going through the different levels and different rooms and discovering new things. Spend few hours in it. Staff were really nice and helpful.

Fantastic tour! We attended midweek and experienced no line ups or wait time. The staff were awesome in setting up our tour for success. The audio guide was interesting and we went at our own pace. The tour gave me a new level of appreciation for the people who serve to defend our freedoms.

A truly wonderful experience exploring the HMS Belfast, especially the upper decks where you can see the beauty of the river Thames and magnificent nearby structures. Lovely seating area and café. Toilets on site, friendly members of staff and a gift shop.

The ship was extremely interesting. You can really climb and go into all areas. There are informative signs everywhere and the staff on the ship have always offered you help for orientation or questions. Here you can learn a lot about the technology in such a ship and understand how it must have lived and worked there in the past. I can definitely recommend a visit and recommend planning several hours for exploring.

The reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars, in some parts of the boat signed are not clear where to go and I end up going in circles and missed some of the objectives. On the website I think should mention that you need like 3-4 hours to properly visit it. We entered at 14:30 , and had no time to visit it properly . Apart from that I fully recommend and definitely I will come back to see the missed parts.

Absolutely fantastic time on board HMS Belfast and the staff were awesome. You have to be fairly nimble to get around some parts of the ship but definitely worth seeing it all. Not exactly cheap to get in but you will be there a long time so worth every penny.

It was very interesting and for everyone who wants to know more about the history it's really a must . You have an audiobook but there are also volunteers who will take their time to explain things as well which I loved . Be sure to be mobile enough because some places on the ship are more difficult to access. Definitely take your time to see it all . We didn't buy tickets upfront and we were lucky to be there at 10 and to be able to get it . I would recommend to buy some upfront though because even at 10 it was already very busy.

I visited HMS Belfast for a work conference. The catering was good and we were then able to walk around all the decks and quarters. It was raining very hard and yet wasn't slippery. Fascinating history and a unique experience.

A great piece of our history, amazing to see and experience first hand. The whole setup is very well done and really does well in its presentation and delivering the history of the ship in a walk around approach. It's just a shame we did not preserve more of this Era of ship.

I visited HMS Belfast on Saturday. Once we got to the ticket office, the place looked quite nice however, in my opinion the ticket prices were a bit pricey. Once we walked over to the ship from the bridge, there were ticket checks. After we got through, you can pretty much go wherever you like within the ship. Most rooms are open for you to explore. There are also a lot of screens with narration to explain the history of the ship which was very good. I decided I wanted to go down and have a look at the engine and boiler room. The ladders were very steep and not very safe and it requires you to be slow and steady when going down. Once we got down, I immediately noticed all of the asbestos warning signs. While I was going through the rooms I got lost in the engine room.. Plus, there was a lack of signs indicating to an exit. After about 10 minutes of trying to get out, I eventually found an exit. Overall, I think it's quite a good place to visit but I'd recommend you be cautious when climbing up a ladder and also be careful when in the engine room and stay close together.

(Translated by Google) One of the essentials if you visit London. With the entrance, which as you know is free, they give you a small map with the route of the most popular paintings. It helps if you are short on time. Another good idea is to go on Friday, which is also open in the afternoon, and in my opinion after eating it is much calmer. My favorite is Velázquez. Maybe because the earth always pulls?

HMS Belfast is one of those things you should do once when in London. But it certainly isn't cheap (£22 for an adult, £11 for a child). It takes between 60 and 90 minutes to explore all the decks depending on whether you stop to read everything. There is a tea room on board too. Good for kids but a fair degree of climbing up and down ladders to note if anyone has mobility issues.

Amazing! You need at least one and a half hours to see most of what is accessible, so be prepared!! It’s a ship so there’s a lot (A Lot!) of going up and down narrow stairs. Some rooms/spaces have sounds of what it used to be, and some videos explaining things. Very helpful and polite staff. Thought it was a bit expensive, but it’s really worth it. There’s a cafeteria and restrooms. Definitely not a place for claustrophobics. Low ceilings, narrow corridors and passages, can get really hot. Please note that at the time of our visit the ticket office was cashless, so card etc only.

Took our titanic obsessed little man to London as part of his Christmas present. Unfortunately a trip underwater to visit the titanic wasn’t financially going to happen, so this was the next best thing. He absolutely loved it, as did I. So much to see and explore, unfortunately he was so excited about the bridge and captains seat, we didn’t make it to the lower decks. Well worth a visit, and fairly priced. Hours of exploring for the kids and amazing views of many London landmarks

I went here for the first time as it was a corporate event. I didn’t have access to the whole shipping but what I could see it was really cool. Kitchen, torpedos, infirmary room. Impressive to be inside of the ship that was the main one at the D day. Beautiful views from the Tower Bridge. Not sure if I would pay to go. But if you like this history it is something to go see.

I had waited a few years to get the chance to visit this historic vessel and it was worth it. After checking in with the friendly ticket desk staff we were offered an audio tour and then directed to the ship. Once on board we were greeted by one of the many volunteer guides who told you a little about the ship and how to get the best experience. Navigating the ship was a challenge for some due to its fairly steep ladders or steps between each floor but it was enjoyable to see the children enthralled at the adventure. The on board cafe took a little while but we were able to sit out on deck and enjoy a breather. Throughout the ship, many areas showed audio or film regarding each of its roles and duties. Well worth the visit and please be advised that it’s cheaper to become members and then book as this saves a lot of money. Above the ticket office is a small bar. This was a great vantage point to see the Tower Bridge being raised and lowered. Timings are published on the Tower Bridge website.

Visiting the HMS Belfast (part of the Imperial War Museum trust) is a must for the military history passionate and regular tourists alike, when in London. Purchasing tickets online guarantees a quick entry and less queuing than otherwise. The ship is kept in excellent condition and the work done on it to restore various pieces of equipment and decks is admirable. The visitors can explore most of the ship's decks, from the engine rooms to machine rooms, workshops, dispensary and med bay, canteen, store rooms, to the admiral's deck and radar/weapons control rooms and the main 6" battery turrets. Audio guides are also available and care must be taken when moving from one deck to the other as the stairs are quite narrow and the wrungs, slim. Kids seem to also really enjoy the light cruiser.

  • 5/5 Rob A. 4 years ago on Google
This is one of the best things to see in London, the excellent free audio tour leads you all over the ship, the history of life on board is amazing, the ship itself looks as though its battle ready still and could easily be sent out to war again, a definite must see and you can easily spend 2 to 3 hours if not more wandering around the decks, the engine and boiler rooms are a tight fit but a must see if you can get down the steep ladders, not ideal for really young children but the rest of the ship is, I'll definitely be back again in the future

This was the most thorough and well done vessel or similar exhibition I've seen. The overall experience was amazing especially considering their involvement in so many engagements of magnitude - from a ship perspective. But then the multimedia interactive experience both digital and analog were extremely thoughtful and well done!!

First, a warning. This is a real ship with real passageways and ladders. I doubt US lawyers would allow it. The ladders are steep, the hatchways can be very narrow, and some of the spaces are small and hard to squeeze through. Second, another warning. FOLLOW THE MAP IN ORDER! The words "No Entry" mean "Don't come this way." I had to wait five minutes for four terrified children and their parents to come down a long ladder which was an "up" ladder. Now to the review. Almost every part of the ship is open to the public and it is a fairly big ship. There are many decks and it is quite a workout, even for the fit. I'm a 61-year-old overweight man with bad knees, but still did the entire tour. You definitely need to take the free audio guide, which is informative. Also have the free map handy. You can't navigate the ship with it, but it has all the stations listed in order so you just follow the numbers. If you miss a number, you're going the wrong way. Backtrack and try again. This is not just an old ship from an important era. HMS Belfast served in the Arctic and was the second ship to open fire during the Normandy landings. For a nation that "ruled the waves," HMS Belfast is, unfortunately, one of only three WW2-era ships left. (The others are the submarine HMS Alliance in Gosport and HMS Cavalier, a destroyer in Chatham.) It has a small but decent cafe and is closest to the London Bridge Tube station.

What a wonderful way to experience what a naval ship in WWII was like. This is a light cruiser of almost 12,000 tons. Fast (32 + knots), very well armed equipped with two seaplanes that were launched by catapults. She was commissioned in 1939, damaged by a mine late in the year and was extensively repaired and recommissioned in 1942 and was involved in the D day landings. HMS Belfast had a long life and was involved in the Korean war, and spent several years in the "Far East", returning in 1963.

If you like a bit of history, you will enjoy this well-preserved, well presented, WWII great battleships. Like it that we can visit pretty much all the areas in the ship; it is more complex with steep ladders, narrow passage ways. Impressed with the ammu loadings for gun turrets, steam engine room, captain's bridge, crew living quaters.

Fantastic & intriguing what life was like on this ship during service times. We pre booked but arrived 1/2 late due to traffic ( even on an early Sunday morning)! No problems getting in . We spent nearly 2 hours there . My 16yo daughter loved the interactive games. It was very informative. We both enjoyed it . Next stop was The Shard which was close by. An enjoyable day. London Bridge is the nearest tube station then a 5 minutes walk.

Interesting, historical military ship. Lots to see and explore for a few hours for any intrepid adventurer. Interact with the exhibits and get a feel how life on board may have felt in the depths of the ships belly. Working telescope on deck was a great addition spying on the passing boats or sightseers across the river. Coffee shop on board wasn't great unfortunately. Cream tea's without any cream, then soup and bread without any bread, but you weren't told this until you had paid. Good for a quick drink or a snack. Nice gift shop with lots of quality items for anyone wanting a keepsake.

I visited with a 4 year old in august. On a positive side it wasn’t too busy and the ship was clean and relatively interesting. The staff friendly and well informed. Unfortunately thought it didn’t quite meet my expectations. Firstly there’s nothing really interactive, the dummies are all gone and the staff don’t wear sailor uniforms which is a strange break from the whole experience. The layout is also confusing. The flow through the ship is complicated leading to walking against people walking. If the put the dummies back, added some basic Interactive features like video games for kids or even things children could touch and play with I think it would be better. For the older crowd of 70+ it was clearly a highlight but as that generation fades the future of this gem is uncertain. Wasn’t worth the ticket price but was ok for 45 minutes.

Tickets booked in advance which I would recommend. Visited on a Sunday not long after opening and went straight in. It's a big ship with nine decks you can visit. There's lots of ladders and hatches so bear that in mind if you are visiting. There is a route round but we did get a bit lost at a few points. There were two guides on the day we visited who were very helpful

A very interesting place with lots of details about ships and how they operate. Besides the technology, HMS Belfast has a great history and a very interesting story to tell. Definitely worth a visit.

Arguably the most iconic among the warships used by the British navy. It's very well preserved. It's definitely a 'must-watch' for the lovers of history and warfare. Loved the tour. Thanks to the fantastic volunteers who are working tirelessly to keep the ship in a good state. The highlight of my trip was the interactive 'Morse code' session . My daughter even received a certificate for learning how to use Morse code.

If you like to see a ww2 engineering history you must visit HMS Belfast. I spent more time rounding around boiler rooms, engine room, turbines etc. You climb down few levels and you walk all around narrow walkways between valves, pipes, and all other mechanical infrastructure of the ship. The turbine shells are opened so you'll see the blades exposed. Overall it is a well kept museum that is definitely worth visiting.

Great monument to visit, a little expensive but worth it to look around once. A lot has been modernly restored but there are a lot of original pieces and looking at the artillery and listening to the descriptions of how they work is interesting. Definitely recommend.

A wonderful day out and really got a sense to what it would have been like to live on board. This museum is so well done with lots to see and do. Be prepared for a few ladders. Iwm membership proving to be such a great gift. Will be back.

HMS Belfast was a town class light cruiser at "WW2" and the only survivor of the fleet on D-DAY. and also went to Korean war after maintenance... is one of the landmarks that you have to visit in London.. Now it's working as a museum between London bridge and tower bridge and the entrance is £17 for adults and £12.50 for students... if you're a big guy mind your head and the ladders cause are quite small and short

Amazing tour of an old warship. They've preserved most of it in good form and the amazing wax figures are so realistic that they make you think they're actual sailors. The ship has many decks (floors) and each gives you a good idea of how the ships used to operate back in those days.

(Translated by Google) This cruiser is of the same type as the Edinburg cruiser. AND if "Belfast" is in the Thames, then the fate of "Edinburgh" is very interesting. April 28, 1942 he left the roadstead of the Vaenga River and went across the Kola Bay to England. On board, under the strictest secrecy, 5.5 tons - 465 gold bars weighing from 11 to 13 kilograms each were loaded. Even the crew members were unaware of the contents of 93 wooden boxes. Even then, the Soviet Union began to pay for goods and weapons supplied under Lend-Lease. He was not destined to bring the valuable commodity to the place of destination. On April 29, 1942, the convoy and cruiser were discovered by German aerial reconnaissance, and a couple of hours later the surfaced U-456 was at a convenient distance for a torpedo attack. Captain Max Teichert fired 3 torpedoes (2 hit the cruiser). The German destroyers of the "Arctic" group "German Sheman", Z-24 and Z-25, intervened and attacked the convoy and thwarted the towing of the cruiser back to the Kola Bay. During the four-hour battle, the Germans only managed to hit the Soviet transport "Tsiolkovsky" with two torpedoes. As a result of the battle, the Germans lost the Herman Sheman, but Edinburg received another torpedo. After assessing the situation, Rear Admiral Bonham-Carter ordered the cruiser's crew to abandon the ship and the destroyer Forsyth to torpedo its flagship. So 5.5 tons of gold turned out to be at the bottom.

Initially we didn't plan to visit here despite of has been seeing it from far. We truly be thankful we visited here on last day while wandering around for time we had to fly back home. It's educative, even to my mom (elderly) and my little daughter. It gave us the right feel of being in war ship. We went down (climbed up & down) even to the engine room until the level where we were informed under the water. Staffs are friendly.

Hi fellow commuters! I took my students here for a school outing. Upon arriving, we were greeted by four vending machines which we ransacked like rabid dogs, as we were feeling peckish and in need of a sweet treat. A superior staff member told us to leave immediately so i set my students upon them. Luckily my students only dished out minor injuries such as ruptured organs and fractured skulls and eviscerated spinal cords. We left with a skip in our step knowing we had accomplished something. Great day!

The National Gallery is a truly amazing place to be, specially for art lovers. Founded in 1824, it houses a collection of over 2,300 paintings dating from the mid-13th century to 1900. Admission to the gallery is completely free, which is not the case in other galleries situated in different European cities. The gallery is very well kept and you'll find all the original paintings of famous painters starting from 13th to 20th century like Duccio, Uccello, van Eyck, Lippi, Mantegna, Botticelli, Dürer, Memling, Bellini, Michelangelo, Raphael, Holbein, Bruegel, Bronzino, Titian, Veronese, Caravaggio, Rubens, Poussin, Van Dyck, Velázquez, Claude, Rembrandt, Cuyp, Vermeer, Canaletto, Goya, Turner, Constable, Ingres, Degas, Cézanne, Monet, and Van Gogh. Apart from the regular galleries, there are also exhibitions held often in this place, along with other events which you could attend if you're interested. Don't forget to visit the National Portrait Gallery too, which is located right by the side of the National Gallery, but often overlooked by the tourists.

Located centrally near Trafalgar Square tube station. One can reach this place with great ease. The entry to national gallery is free. It has a collection of tens of thousands of art works that are done by famous painters. Most of the paintings are very old and show the traditions of people of that time. They are really mesmerising. The paintings are kept thematically in various rooms, with proper lighting. Then there is a restaurant where one can buy a ☕ to make the stay more comfortable. An astonishing achievement to bring so many paintings by Artemisia Gentileschi together at one time, including some from private collections and others from across the world. Amongst those I have not come across before was her 1636-7 “Bathsheba bathing“, with David almost invisible away in the background a virtually amorphous dark lump on a balcony: all the colour; all the personality in Bathsheba and her maid servants, and the relationships between them. The staff were universally welcoming and friendly: not easy with the various requirements to wear face-nappies &cetera: these requirements are not of their making, and even though pointless they have to be enforced. A fabulous visit.

Had a very nice experience during the visit. Tickets can be bought online or at the info office. Before your visit pick up a map makes things way easier getting around the ship. Put aside around 2-3 hours to visit the ship. The staff can help you answer your questions and explain how the ships equipment functions and role of different people who worked on the ship. The ship is like a floating city housing everything you need. The personal who operated it was very skilled. On borad are toilets, a restaurant and interaction activities for children but also for adults😄. The open deck offers a nice view of River Thames and London. If coming with tube get of at London Bridge station. Nearby you can take river cruises, visit Tower Bridge or Tower of London. Restaurants couple of minutes walk.

Haven't visited HMS Belfast in (too) many years, and it was FAB to get back on board and explore her. Even with COVID precautions it is still possible to have a really good wander around all areas, bridge, cabins, turrets, engines etc. The interactive displays are great fun and the story of the ship is told through the voices of the crew(audio guide included in ticket), which made it feel much more alive and to imagine what it was like when she was a working ship. The history and story of the ship is long and distinguished and very well presented throughout. I've taken out an IWM membership, which includes unlimited entry to Belfast so I will visit again soon I am sure.

HMS Belfast is a unique window in to the workings of a real life WW2 warship. Many areas have unrestricted access to wander, explore and get a real sense of what life onboard was like for its crew. It is not suitable got people with mobility issues as access from deck to deck involves climbing some very steep ladders. The entrance fee is a little steep and the gift shop was reasonable.

Such a fascinating experience. There's plenty rooms to venture through, sometimes you'll have to jump through narrow spaces but that's what makes the experience so unique.

So as an ex-member of the Royal Navy, after Belfast was decommissioned 😀this was a bit of a let down - especially for the cost. £25 per adult seems really steep, with no veterans or Armed Forces discount. If we want to keep the memory alive of what the ship achieved, let's price it better - lots of other things competing for your hard earned cash - could do with some TLC and more areas opened up.

Absolutely fascinating! Enjoyed every minute we were there and would love to go back. Kids loved it too.

Amazing museum. I honestly admire how they manage to keep all the interior in good condition for 50 years. Definitely commendable and must see. :)

I don't know I shall call HMS Belfast a London landmark. But it is definitely worth your time to make a visit to this decommissioned battleship. It is moored on the south side of the river Thames right next to the Tower Bridge and opposite the Tower of London. I am not going to write here about the her history. You have to find out yourself by exploring 5 decks. I would advise to book ticket in advance. At the entrance they will scan the barcode from the email and you are free to go. There are toilets all around and cafe with selection of drinks and snacks. We spent on board around 2 and half hours, climbing up and down steep steps minding our head. There is a souvenir shop at the entrance. Not big, but we bought some fridge magnets and sweets.

Went there as a kid, and today was thrilled to bring my own kids to see the Belfast. Arguably, was better suited to my 11 year old son than to my teenage daughter... Great tour of the ship, with helpful explanations and examples of how life was on-board.

Had a great time looking around, took up to two hours to see it all. There's a lot of ladders so be aware that you need to be able to climb to see it all. But very interesting insight into a valuable ship that was a key player from ww2 till 1971.

I love it Over any museum in for maritime, this is the real thing, you can feel the narrow passages along the engine room. You can feel the responsibility on the compass deck. Piece of our history, we all ow a huge debt to people who serve on such warships during WWII. Surprisingly coffee at the end in Stocker cafe is not bad at all

It's fascinating wandering around this old warship. The areas are set up to give a realistic feeling of how it must have felt to live and work on her. Even just moving around is interesting as you have to watch your footing, mind your head if you're tall like me, and take care on the very steep ladders between floors. Really enjoyed it.

Great tour for marine fans. Reserve 2 hours to explore the ship properly and go with someone who is interested in naval history. Hustle through with small kids may not yield the right experience.

We pre booked and wasn't busy but was a Monday, friendly volunteers around and a nice welcome. Tour all well laid out, be need to ready for going down to the lower decks on the one way system which is great, but they can steep and narrow. Spent a good two hours, on a nice day to see the upper decks.

Second time been and gets even better. Very educational, especially that talk by the very good volunteer, (I forgot his name) about the Korean War and Belfast's involvement. Not for people who are very tall and people who are claustrophobic, especially if down in engine room.
