I discovered this park in late summer and love to walk this is situated on the hill at one side you can see Crystal Palace towers and other side you can see a tall buildings of Canary Wharf and one side houses during walk you can discover many things different boundaries of park for different activities you also can see lines of mature trees might be planted over a century children play area is also amazing and you can find activities and attractions for all ages during walk or run you can touch the ground on side and and at top you can touch the sky since I started walking in this park I got lot of inspirations and that I converted to my poems I never had such type of thoughts in any other park for me it’s good place for poetics thoughts I think most of artist are sensitive to nature and scroungings where they catch ideas for their creative work I suggest those people to visit and walk in this park and feel the hunger of city how slowly and unknownley capturing the land of nature and removing all trees and bushes to convert high rise buildings to satisfy there greed It’s good an interesting park for sport lovers and children dog walkers I am also sharing some pictures taken on different times

A vast grassland park which relaxes you in an otherwise dense side of London. Definitely my favorite to get some perspective. There's La Delice cafè close by in case one wants to stop for a coffee. The park also has a number of benches which are dedicated to memories of loved ones who have passed away. I like to read the epitaphs mentioned on them. One of the benches, I find particularly interesting and comforting. It's near the Child's Play area, and dedicated to Freddy, who passed away at the tender age of 19. The young spirit is remembered as, "Freddy loved to dance on the Sunny side of Life".

Love Hilly Fields! The afternoon light can be pretty amazing. It has a great buzz with the outdoor exercise classes, basketball court, tennis courts, children's playground, and the cafe. And love view of Canary Wharf in the distance too.

Pure blue sky green hills every where nice and peaceful and private, no events in the park today. The fresh cool air and the grass was muddy in some parts so you couldn't walk through all of it so walk on the path will get you to the top of the hills that leads to the play areas plus exists to leave the park.

Love this park, there are now flower beds being started on Eastern Road side of the park. This park is very popular and used a lot by the community. It is well maintained and kept clean, volunteers regularly litter pick and dog owners are pretty good at picking up the dog mess. It hosts a park run on Saturday and a junior park run on Sunday.

Appropriately named park as it is hilly and has field like areas. Unfortunately, when I went, it was a bit misty, which spoilt the views, but I could see a little bit, and it looked like you would get good views on a clear day. It has a cafe, pathways, benches, sports area and playground. Quick tip if you are walking there from Ladywell station - following the cycle signs results in a less steep hill.

Can you believe the playground HAS NOT BEEN UPGRADED in OVER 20 YEARS. I'm not impressed 😕 Lewisham Borough should put a lido for the little ones. Not to mention there is METAL slides and on a HOT day it isn't usable for the children.

Beautiful park with plenty of open spaces. During summertime an ice cream from the car van is a must.

So the name is apt, and you should probably add windy to it as an exposed hill. This surprisingly large park is hidden between Lewisham and Brockley surrounded by nice residential areas and even has a school in the middle. The children’s play area is regularly busy but never crowded and next to tennis courts and generally just lovely views. There’s a cafe which is popular (expect to queue) and has a toilet on the back by the mid kitchen (pots, pans, etc). Although hilly, there is a large flat bit at the bottom that regularly gets used for ad-hoc sport. It’s also ace as a run-off area if there’s snow (you’ll need it!). Popular for yoga and athletics, it’s a nice place to come. Just bring something to stop the wind.

Great experience with a toddler. There were colouring pencils and suitable books to read. It was pouring. Also had baby chino and little vegan cakes. Amazing. Thank youx

I love this park so does my dog we did a big walk to come visit. It doesn’t have fence so not good for off lead if you’ve got a dog with bad recall or traffic awareness. A very special place and miss it being our regular place to walk. Easy to access 24hrs a day. Part of the three peaks walk of area. Best ice cream van in town up by the school and playground. The guys been there for 30 years and only 3.50 for a ice cream sundae!

The best park in Lewisham by far. You can really relax, and the view is sublime. Also, you can hire the tennis courts; there is a basketball court, and there are table tennis tables. The cafe is the best place to chill and enjoy the atmosphere.

A good place is a haven of connection, where bonds between people are cherished, and new friendships are nurtured. It's a destination that encourages us to engage with others, share stories, and build meaningful relationships that enrich our lives.

A good place is a sanctuary of transformation, where we can shed old beliefs and embrace new perspectives. It's a destination that encourages us to evolve, learn from our experiences, and blossom into the individuals we aspire to be.

Nice, quite big, park on a hill. It has a cricket field, some tennis courts, a good playground for children, an exercise area. No sound of cars, so it felt relaxing. No view of London (in summer time).

Dog and family friendly park. Great view from the top of the park. Can’t be a windy sometimes so it’s best to bring your jackets. There is a good play park on the top of the hill. Kids always enjoy a play there. Tennis court and adult outdoor equipment available. It’s free parking which is a bonus.

I've lived at the back of Hilly fields for over 36yeara.My 4 children (now grown) benfitted from the varied sports and environmental activities. Our grandson enjoys Saturdays futsal jam football session.5k run returned with many running for charity.cricjet is back and enjoyable to watch.cafe has been refurbished and is open.Basketball, tennis and children's play areas fully used. Bowls is very good with travelling teams taking on Sir Francie Drake players, always commenting how well the green is kept(Thanx Glendale).Hilly fields good for walking and dog walking.many yoga groups and good mixing of ages, gender ethnicity and abilities. Finally, the very good and successful Brockley society fair in June highlights all the good, creative works of local artists who, hold open days nearby to Hillyfields.

Brilliant space to have on your doorstep, with kids playground, cricket pitch, tennis courts and a cafe. Dont be fooled though, the 'stone circle' is not an ancient monument, its only about 20yrs old!
