Another beautiful day at Telegraph Hill Upper Park Amazing views across the city and and a a perfect place to sit, relax and take it all in at the heart of the city. Lovely green area too and don't forget to check out Telegraph Hill Lower Park too for a real treat. 🌳🌱🌷☀

Love this park! Beautiful views, immaculate tennis courts. Pizza place near by which apparently has amazing pizza, but I am yet to try that :)

One of the best parks in S.E London. Amazing views, good vibes in the summer & top pizza. Only downside is that there aren’t any loos.

As I strolled through the park's meandering pathways, I was greeted by a friendly golden retriever. The dog approached me with wagging tail and an inviting demeanour, eager to make a new acquaintance. Despite the language barrier, I managed to have a brief conversation with the dog, learning about its favourite toys and shops. Golden retriever playing fetch at Telegraph Hill Upper Park The dog's ability to communicate with me using one-word answers was truly remarkable. It demonstrated a level of intelligence and understanding that I found both fascinating and heartwarming. Our conversation, though brief, was a testament to the special bond that can exist between humans and animals. Beyond the delightful encounter with the golden retriever, Telegraph Hill Upper Park offers a variety of recreational opportunities. Its well-maintained lawns are ideal for picnics and sunbathing, while its children's play area provides a safe and engaging space for little ones to enjoy. Overall, my visit to Telegraph Hill Upper Park was an unforgettable experience. The park's serene atmosphere, breathtaking views, and the unexpected encounter with a friendly golden retriever made it a truly special place. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the city and a chance to connect with nature and its furry inhabitants.

Great spot for NYE fireworks! Clear view of most of central London and especially London Eye. It gets really packed and most spots are full around 11pm so you may want to grab a hot drink and get there sooner. Close to public transport such as bus stops and 20 minute walk to Lewisham station

Great for arts and crafts, different selection each week. Very good over December and November for Christmas gifts from. Permanent meat and vegetable stalls.

A good place is a canvas of colors, where the beauty of nature and human creativity intertwine. It's a destination that mesmerizes with vibrant landscapes, artistic street murals, and the kaleidoscope of cultures that enrich the atmosphere.

It was a great place to meet up with friends and relatives especially when the restaurants and pubs were closed. But nowadays I have been a witness of many events of anti-social behaviour of young people. I am afraid that this green spot will turn into a tip if youngsters continue to behave like this. Would not visit it with children any more!

A good place is a sanctuary of growth, where we can turn adversity into opportunity and setbacks into stepping stones. It's a destination that nurtures our resilience, fosters personal development, and empowers us to rise above challenges.

Lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of New Cross Road up Telegraph Hill for spectacular views over London and also worth visiting Nunhead cemetery at the top of the hill

Went to the Christmas fair today for the under 5's playgroup. Had a lovely time with toys, books and cakes available to buy. Hot drinks were available, very reasonably priced. Brilliant face painter. Crafting activities and play areas. Even a visit to see Father Christmas. All to raise funds for this wonderful facility.

Wonderful view of the city. Be careful during periods of drought, the soil cracks and it's easy to get stuck in the holes in the ground

Sloping, maintained grassed area with benches, pathways and tennis courts. Reasonable views northwards towards central Battersea/London and beyond but the interrupted vista impaired by the tree line. This be no panorama. Early 19th.Century strategic location as a commanding elevation for deployment of a Semaphore signal relay station. It’s brief existence and demise inevitable with the advent of railways and Morse. No remnants remain. A bounty of dogs to be found here taking the air, at time of writing, still free.

Amazing views over the city of London to be shared with lots of other members of the public enjoying the sight while sipping a sundowner. Two tennis courts as well, although not in pristine condition.

I'm very fond of this park as during lock down I did a lot of training here. It's kept well and relatively clean. There are groups of kids who don't clean up after themselves, and sometimes the staff isn't all that bothered by cleaning, but there are volunteers who clean it too. There is an occasional smell of weed, from both cleaning staff and the users of the park. Overall though, a great view of London and some lovely shade trees to sit under.
