👍 Lovely quiet spot for reflection and to smell the flowers. Dogs are asked to be kept on leads so it’s a nice serene space. People often mention water,

It has been many years since I properly walked around Victoria Park and I must say it is stunning. I was here for a half marathon event but made time to walk around afterwards to take in the atmosphere. There are families here for the open space and boating lake and cafe and then there are runners, bikers and those that are here for a stroll. Absolutely loved it on a beautiful Sunday morning.

Part of Victoria Park but in its own enclosure. Hardly used but well laid out and well kept garden with plenty of benches. Has a nicely designed water feature which attracts a lot of birds, however this appears to be turned off in the winter. Worth a visit if you are in the park.

Nice quiet spot in Victoria Park. Tower Hamlets gardeners do a brilliant job of maintaining the flower borders. Many people come to admire the gardens: I just enjoy sitting there, and appreciating the surroundings

Once such a pleasure. Regret that the water runnel and fountain no longer function. Part of the National Lottery restoration of the Park. Attracted a lot of bird activity, especially in summer. No longer sadly. The autumn hazel hedge , however, has looked stunning in the sun. Please restore the water feature in 2021.

Beautiful peaceful place. Lots of stunning flowers and benches to sit and relax on. Small water foundation feature is very pretty.

A lovely small herbaceous garden which was surprisingly well maintained. Unfortunately the water fetcher wasn't working when I visited. There are a few benches to sit and relax on.

I've always loved this place...and I see from a recent post there's water ... at last. I can't believe it. It seems like years since it was filled with water. So lovely to see. Thank you Sam for your post.
