My favourite place in London. The pool is always a gorgeous temperature, summer or winter, and every member of staff is super friendly and helpful. Facilities are amazing given the low entry fee. Great atmosphere in the lanes with very friendly swimmers. I am not sure why you would bother swimming anywhere else.

Great pool, busy, but the double lanes flowed well with everyone working at the right pace for where they put themselves. Good fresh water with little chlorine taste, much better to be outside in the fresh air even on a winters day while it’s windy and spitting with rain. Changing rooms are very clean and tidy, but the shower pressure is very low. £1 coin needed for the lockers, you get it back when you open it.

My first visit and what an amazing place this is. Greeted with a warm welcome by the lady on the desk, clean and modern changing rooms inside and out, warm showers and a spotlessly clean pool in beautiful surroundings. Enough room poolside to relax for a bit if you want to as well and even though I went on a hot day when it was busy, it never felt too crowded. It also showed a true cross-section of society and was clearly being used by locals, with people of all ages, genders and races, which was super refreshing and gave a wonderful vibe. Big shout out to the staff who made my first visit so wonderful. 🥰🌟

What a great way to spend an hour during a hot, sunny day! There are swimming lanes for all abilities and space to change, shower and dry off (*cough* sunbathe). Great value.

This place is the real deal. Such a fantastic setup for everyone - from newbies to social swimmers and triathletes alike. Been a real god send for so many through lockdown / covid times. Beautiful early Jan swim this morning - stunner! Worth knowing with 'Better' membership you can swim here as much as you like.

What a place! Still not sure how I've been swimming in London since 2017 and only just recently found out about this heated, outdoor treasure. Especially handy for winter outdoor swimmers who might need a break from 5c waters.....

Great location (on the fields). It’s a pool for people who actually come to swim. The lanes are separated for how advanced you are at swimming and unfortunately you can get stuck in lanes where you feel v rushed or are stuck behind people for a long time. It’s a good lido overall though

Not going to lie to everyone on here, but this is the best outdoor swimming pool ever! Been coming here for years and the staff are always nice & approachable. The booking system is great & if your a member you can book it via the better app, just make sure to be quick to book your spot during the summer heat wave, spaces go within heart beat. The lockers are £1 via coin there are changing rooms inside & outside along side 2 showers outside. Honestly recommend coming here I always have a great swim !!!

Great pool, clean facilities. Where to wear shoes and where not can get a bit confusing. Very busy, so pre-booking recommended

Great experience. A few minor quibbles. Wish people weren't permitted to sit on the edge of the entire length of the pool in the slowest lane with their legs in the water. I need to swim in this lane as not a strong swimmer. I have to take a break at the side during a length & can't when people are sitting here (I don't want to have to come very early or late to avoid this). Also, wish staff were more proactive in checking toilet paper supplies in the ladies'. There was no toilet paper in any of the cubicles.

I love the lido more than anything else in my area! The staff are kind, friendly and informative and they work hard to make the pool nice for the local community. There is also often food donations for local food banks. The people who come to swim are just as nice and I feel most part of the London Fields / Hackney community when I'm here.

Very nice pool with a retro flavor. Friendly staff. Facilities and water are clean. Only small issue is that a part of the swimming pool is not deep enough if you want to enjoy your swim properly.

Lovely, clean lido! Space for bikes outside, lovely park for picnic after, Broadway food market a must-visit for after. Hour slots so it’s not a lounge-about kinda pool but there is space if you want to sit on your towel etc. shout out to the swimming costume driers in the toilets - a revelation!

I have been to London Fields Lido for years. This pool is amazing and also the staff and the customers. Yesterday I lost a necklace which was very precious to me and all staff and customers helped me find it (turns out it fell off my neck in the pool!). Know that if you go swimming there, you’re in very very good hands in many aspects!

Love this place, being coming here twice a week for the last couple of months and it’s my favourite. Swimming outside is great, super clean and heated to a good amount, and so lovely to see the sky and the birds.

This park is beautiful, I was visiting my daughter who lives nearby. I live in Devon. The park was bustling with cyclists including families on bikes. Activities for children and families, such as I saw families excercising together, fun, not serious. Football, games, lessons. Great atmosphere. Coffee booth, with delicious pastries, soup etc. Lady selling was good fun. Love this place so much my 2 hours on a bench were interesting, and enjoyed every minute of my people watching here.

I feel so lucky to have this space in London. The pool and changing rooms are clean, and they have a great system to cope with the Covid restrictions. They have changing rooms and showers right next to the pool for ease of use.

Love love love swimming here! Staff really try hard to make a clean safe environment, doing their best to keep open in difficult times. It’s 50 meters, it’s outside so you get the sun rain sleet and if lucky snow. It’s like London’s beach with out the sand. And grate swim. Thanks

An excellent park. Have visited have been coming here at least once a week for about five years. Daughter plays football on Saturday mornings with Funn Club - we love it. The park also has a good playground, the lido (outdoor swimming pool), pull-up bars, two public toilets facilities, tennis courts. Many great shops, markets and restaurants nearby. It’s definitely a busy scene during the warmer months but that’s mostly in the afternoons/evenings. Earlier in the day, it’s a great place to bring the kids. Highly recommended.

Excellent. The automated gates only work around 10 mins before and after booking which is fine unless you’re stuck in a queue and have to wait even longer. The staff look stoned and wouldn’t rush for anyone. Otherwise the cafe is fab, the Scottish lady that runs it is brilliant. The lanes work well and well ordered.

In the hot weather like we had it was so good to be able to swim and cool down while enjoying the sun. This place is perfect for that. You can sit down and dry out in the sun. Pool is not too deep so my son was able to play and learn how to swim without being scared of the depth.

Easy place to sit and eat, spread your legs if you must but this synthetic textured grass, it’s green colour is more than over-washed. This area has always been available for the working class for the past twenty years, and that sector is the one that makes the most use of the space. Currently, it is the vast majority of 9 to 5 trolley mums, hockey dads and gay parents that have purchased all the flats around. This capital desire of the rich has taken local spaces from the community, that use these places regularly for socialising, and interacting. As for now, filled with upper class, it still isn’t clear from rat infestations and asbestos, so in a way, the poor elements from the 60’s still remain in the area, like a ghost or a mother in law…

One of my favorite places in London, I swim there twice a week. My only "but", more could be done about ensuring bike safety at their available bike parking space. Today my bicycle has been "ravaged", half of it has been stolen. This seems to be happening very often at their premises. I know this is a difficult one, it's a London epidemic really. A bold idea ... hiring security for the hours when is dark ?

Lovely location and gorgeous 50m outdoor pool. Really well organised for Covid distancing - and so nice that there was no aggro at all between swimmers - in fact it was much friendlier than I have found in the past. Fast and slow swimmers all accommodated within a four-lane system that everyone respected. Glorious on a sunny day.

  • 4/5 Matte 3 years ago on Google
New covid booking system is ridiculous. Impossible to get a booking at a reasonable time. Considering the Pool is outside and outside, changing areas could be used instead of indoor ones. This is the ridiculous world we’re living in now, I guess. **Imagine us all actually paying our better fees but we’re getting no access**.

The Lido is still open under tier 4 restrictions. It feels safe and well organise, with timed slots bookable through the app, a one-way system from the entrance to the pool and from the pool to the exit. Only the outside changing cubicles and outside warm showers are available.most sessions are can't swimming.it is particularly atmospheric at night, swimming under the stars with the steam rising off the water.

Open 24 hours. Excellent hang out spot with The Pub on The Park to have a beer on the decking overlooking The Fields. 2 children's Playgrounds. Tennis Courts. Swimming at The Lido for heated outdoor swiims. Basketball Court. Football and Cricket pitches Outdoor Table Tennis. Outdoor Gym. Wooded area. With the achingly cool and trendy Broadway Market at one end. Hip bars restaurants and coffee shops. Book shops. Fashion clothes shops. Organic Grocers. Barber shops Chemist's. It really is the place to meet up and have that all important time out in nature.

Too busy. New adjustments are confusing with which way to go,feel like they let more people in than they should and could've set up a more Covid friendly system of leaving items around than just on the floor. Changing rooms are often wet. Could do with cleaning more regularly.

Love this lido so much! Great to be able to swim outdoors in a heated pool, all year round. Booking system is very organised and capacity feels safe. Be warned you do need to book ahead or keep checking the app in case a cancellation frees up a spot.

Clean and well-organised. During the Covid-19 situation Lockers, showers and changing rooms are only available outside and there are four different lanes depending on your swimming peace (which are temporarily double width to allow social distancing while swimming). • 5/5 Nicholas F. 2 years ago on Google
A great park, and a much-needed green space in the urban sprawl of Hackney. It's long established, and if you look carefully, you can see history come to life - seek out the terrace of early Georgian town houses on the perimeter. This is a park that has it all, including some vibrant local pubs, a lido and a thriving street market, all on the boundary or within it. Wonder of wonders, it even has functioning toilets - newly renovated, they are yet another reason this place earns five stars!

  • 4/5 Jackson G. 2 years ago on Google
Great park though it suffers a fair bit from overuse. Still, best place to be an adult outside anywhere in or around Haggerston, Dalston, or the southern end of Hackney.

  • 4/5 Hassana 2 years ago on Google
It's a nice park, there's an out door heated pool (~6£ entry) and children's play ground. Lots of people walking and playing with dogs. on Saturdays you can go to Broadway market pick up some delicious food and then bring it to the field to eat.

  • 3/5 Jason T. 2 years ago on Google
Handy little park at the top of Broadway Market, when Victoria park is just too far away. Disproportionately high number of Street Lamps, so Wild Flower patch a welcome relief. Many different types of people sharing this space.

Great 50m outdoors pool! Mostly clean and the facilities are basics but in working order. No changing rooms atm due to Covid but you can use outside showers and cubicles. Would be better if the lane etiquette was respected by everyone but there's always a few Phelps wannabes... ;)

Nothing like a swim to take you out of yourself. It was busy at 10am on a Saturday, but then there were only three passes left when I booked the Thursday before. Limited shower facilities, due to refurb I think. The water soon warms up when you get moving and it's glorious in the morning sun.

  • 3/5 Zach D. 1 year ago on Google
The park was okay, mostly large lawns so not my favorite spot but if you are looking for a place to eat all that food from Broadway Market this is just fine. Of course if the weather is nice you might struggle to find a spot as it fills up fast.

Don't have no pics to show but next time I will.

Really great way to spend a summer day. Easy to book but accepting walk ins (at least in the morning). It gets pretty crowded but not unmanageable. You need to put your towel on the ground that is concrete but the pool is not overcrowded. Remember to take 1 pound for the lockers (retrievable). They have a cafe that serves coffee, drinks and food through the day. If you book morning you can stay practically the whole day. There is enough place decaded for both free swimming and the professional swimming. Highly recommend!

Great park/community facility with tennis courts, a cricket square, children's playground and one of the few remaining lidos (outdoor swimming pools) in London. Definitely worth a visit as is The Pub on The Park.

Fantastic park in a vibrant area. Lots of lovely shade, seating, running and cycling. There's a cafe, basketball/football court, a lido and a playground. Some great views of the park when the suns out between the trees. A peaceful spot in the middle of a fun and diverse community.

Green community spaces are my thing and it can be a good thing to be surrounded by local amenities. Picnics, swimming and a great opportunity for people watching. This area has been given a bad rep, not sure by who, locals or press. I must say, in 40 years I've never experienced it.

Lovely pool. Perfect for a sunny day. It gets busy so we prefer to come earlier. My daughter really enjoys it. Like the outdoor changing cubicles. Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. Good and reasonably priced snacks and drinks available from small kiosk.

I went here for first time today and it's really lovely. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful in explaining things and getting me started - thanks David! The pool is really great - beautiful to be able to swim and see trees. The changing facilities were small but really well designed so didn't feel squashed. The only thing that could be improved was the showers, you can't change the temperature, but that's a minor quibble given how fantastic this place is.

  • 5/5 Damian C. 3 months ago on Google New
I've swum in pools all over London, both indoors and outdoors, and I have to say that London Fields is right up there with the best. What you've got is a clean, spacious 50m pool with well sized lanes populated by people who really want to swim. Beyond this the changing rooms are clean and spacious. In fact the whole facility feels well looked after. Parking is a bit of a pain but there's plenty of space to park a bike and you can always walk. There's also a hole-in-the-wall cafe providing much needed post-swim refreshment. Quite simply if you enjoy swimming then you'll love London Fields. There's nothing quite like swimming in the open air, with the sun on your back, in water that isn't either freezing cold or full of eels. I just wish that I lived closer.
