👍👍 Beautiful Courtyard and a few shops. You may also just sit and observe the fun ambience of the Place and nurse a drink while doing so. Get out of your comfort zone and explore a little. You may meet and make a new friend/s. Lots to eat and very friendly feeling. Then take a walk by the River Thame... Beautiful Courtyard and a few shops. You may also just sit and observe the fun ambience of the Place and nurse a drink while doing so. Get out of your comfort zone and explore a little. You may meet and make a new friend/s. Lots to eat and very friendly feeling. Then take a walk by the River Thames where it is all happening. Great fun even if you are upon your own or call a friend and meet there. Just be uplifted in your spirit and do something different for you, bless

A lovely little area with some vintage shops. My son and I had a meal and drinks in Limin beach club with very friendly staff, there is real sand on the ground giving it a great holiday feel. The food was excellent, we had the Sea Bass and BBQ pork ribs. We will definitely be back for more.

I came here to shop specifically for the more unusual type of greetings cards from an artists' cooperative sales shop. There was a fun atmosphere going on, due to what seemed to be a men in swimming trunks competition going on. Music and laughter, in the heat of the day. The small, independent outlets on the Wharf were full of visitors, with a breeze coming in from the Thames by it. I was reluctant to leave, but had cards to post ASAP.

What a lovely place with loads of eateries and coffee. It's not cheap. Two beers were £14.90 but it's quality beer. Highly recommend the toasties served by a small vendor.

It's ok but looks a bit worn out and needs a splash of paint.

Beautiful square right on the Thames, full of quirky boutiques with unique and arty offerings. There are also a couple of restaurants. We ate at Gourmet Pizza.

What a lovely little shopping area. Lots of little independent shops. We could have spent hours looking around here. Such a great atmosphere and very friendly and welcoming people who run these little outlets. The seating area in the middle is very welcome too.

We liked the location for a little break and the small pop art stores and little things to eat.

We sat upstairs, outside (enclosed balcony). Food was OK. I had fish and chips, batter was dry. My friend had the burger and chips and she enjoyed it. Became drafty as the afternoon/evening wore on. We were left alone to chat and enjoy the views over the river. Would return probably to drink only.

A wonderful, hidden area with lots of bars and restaurants, and even a fruit and vegetable market. If you have been to Madrid it is like the Malasaña or Huertas area but with a little more London style. Some of the bars have a terrace directly on the river with spectacular views. Highly recommended visit.

Ate at Limin Restaurant, situated in a lovely area near the Thames. We sat outside as it was nice and hot. Service was good, food was amazing and our cocktail (sorrel daiquiris) was delicious. Definitely coming here again.

Lots of food and drink options, a little pricy and often busy with lots of visitors to London. But it’s a good accessible location close to many points of interest.

Awful microwaved food, so tough we couldn't cut it or get a fork in it. We complained which was handled very nicely but when the dish was represented, it was hardly any better. Very disappointing. Certainly will not eat there again.

We have gone, to eat, Mexican food, it is a nice quiet place, and the views are really good, towards the river. We spent about 30 pounds approximately. We ate two burritos, some nachos with meat and two drinks, quite good. In a restaurant they play live music

The South Bank is just the place to be on a weekend when you need a stroll. This is a great addition to the aesthetic.

Interesting selection of bars and food types with music and youngish crowd. Main markdown for me was the toilets which are totally unsuitable to service this venue with only 2 cunickes in the ladies and similar on men's side and had queuing outside both from early afternoon onwards at the weekend.

Nice place, small menu but that means the food is fresh. It's simple food but very tasty. Tried the Kentucky Spiced cocktail which is not my usual drink and it was very nice. Say outside Thames bankside facing St Paul's with a drink watching the sun go down. What's not to like?

Hidden gem, a small area with great bar Limin' which has its own beach area to stop and have a cocktail and snacks. Opposite is a small gift shop which sell hand decorated wine glasses. You must go to Joanne Plumb's knitwear shop. She designs and makes everything that she sells, all in lovely colours. There is also a restaurant at the entrance but I haven't eaten there but it was very busy and the food looked good.

Location is great, with nice indoor and outdoor seating. The chicken wings were so good highly recommend them. Reasonably priced and the toilets are clean which is really important to me.

Lots of different food and drink and little shacks and kiosks, bars and gift shops. Kind of carribean seaside town / the town from Jaws vibe. The toasted cheese sandwiches were great, as well as the burritos. Could have done with more staff on, long wait and they were run off their feet.

The area has a really good vibe and there are nice shops and restaurants. I was having a drink in the terrace of Limin beach club and it was very nice. The terrace was cover with sand and really makes me feel I was on the beach. The moctail was lovely and the music very beach style.

This cute little arty square was our favourite but now its tuned into noisy drunk party place. What a shame they have done to this place.

Looks better than the sum of its parts! Always pop in as it's lively but leave feeling empty and a bit cheated, as I never eat, drink or buy anything from here.

Wet day in London! Even so this part of the Thames was very busy! But most eating establishments were empty ,probably due to the prices being charged then service charges on top! The tourists can pay these crazy prices! Didn't enjoy this part of the bank and will not go again to get a coffee ect.

As of Jann2023 ....shows much promise but yet to fulfil it. Worth dropping in if passing on South Banks but not a destination. Could be full of quirky shops n a market but only a few retail outlets open... go but don't make special trip.

Whenever I am around the Embankment ...I head here for a slow stroll around Shops!! There is just something about this area I like ... very different from other Shops/Restaurants in area.

Gabriel's Wharf is one of those places where you can find unique and wonderful knick-knacks and handmade goods. The chocolate place is to kill for- certainly recommend you visit, especially when you have the chilli and chocolate in a drink, it's exquisite. Other unique finds include coloured pearls, bags shaped like buildings and wool and silk clothing.
