From the photos and google page this place looks really nice and with a nice view. Unfortunately we were sat inside and were refused the option to sit outside and enjoy the stunning view (we are not from London). Many tables were available but apparently is drinks only. Staff? No comment at all. They were completely rude, and wanted to do everything possible to not accommodate you. They even made a joke if we wanted dessert, followed by “joking, the kitchen is now closed”. Food was okay although the service affected this as well. We had to follow up on our drinks order multiple of times. Definitely not worth a visit. No surprise these has a 3.9 rating at the moment but I expect this to drop further.

This place is so disappointing. It looks beautiful on the outside, stunning and huge. On the inside is dirty, it smells very bad. The service is ridiculous, I booked a week in advance asking for a table outside for my anniversary and they gave us a table inside between other tables. The music is so loud and is not possible to have a conversation. The food is the worst part. We paid almost £30 for an appetizer which was literally frozen and deep fried chicken and pork covered in sauces. The lobster was disappointing, didn't tastes like fresh as they say, completely covered in parsley and garlic. The shrimps were still dirty (the black part on the back, which is the intestine, was still there, I had to remove it). They served the lobster without the tool to open it, I had to ask for it. The waitresses were never around, I had to stand up and going chase them for everything we needed. We received our drinks at the end of the dinner, when it was too late. On the bill they charged a bottle of wine that we never had, I had to chase the Waitress to ask her to remove it. Everything was just so oily and didn't tastes fresh at all. I don't recommend it at all unfortunately, it's located in a wonderful place but the service and the food is a 0/10.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We Had a reservation for the other big easy branch. Nonetheless we could enter and could cancel the other reservation( despite it being peak time) Food was very good, prices are ok too. Would definitely recommend the brisket. Recommended place Would visit again.

Loved it here. The portions are very generous. We had googled photos before coming and had over ordered due to them not doing the food justice. I had a Caesar salad, which although nice, I believe was slightly over priced as it was just lettuce sauce and parmasan (I added fried shrimp for an extra £5 I believe) and expected more for the money or for it to look slightly better and then when my partners food came I was jealous. The service was okay though we were sat around for a while waiting for someone to come over to take an order etc. I would return still and it was a lovely setting and good food

What an absolutely ridiculous priced meal for mediocre food. Visited for a family members birthday and we will not be visiting again. £38.50 for 1.5lbs lobster, added picture for reference, this was no where near 1.5lbs. Just to also add this was definitely frozen. The lobster meat was Dry and rubbery when you could find any meat. the shell didn’t crack because it was so stale. £39 for steak and lobster, the half lobster you get is basically a prawn. The steak tasted pretty good but the size was again very small is comparison to other steak restaurants. I can’t believe how bad big easy has gone. We was all so disappointed it really did ruin the birthday.

Situated in a premium location, and right by the sky garden. The service on this occasion wasn't that great, and it wasn't even busy. a couple of my friends ordered the unlimited shrimps but service was slow to top them up. As for my dish, I ordered the bbq steak and mac and cheese. generous portions and flavoursome. Also got the big easy rum punch 😜 great place for friends and vibes. service could be better. food is good.

We love this place! We managed to walkin and make a reservation for 30mins later on a busy Saturday night and when we mentioned it was a combined birthday treat for my girls, the staff made us all feel very special indeed with live band birthday chorus the whole restaurant erupted into! Wonderful surprise! The cocktails and choices were vast unique to match the surf and turf cuisines offer. The sirloin, crab and lobster was all delicious. If I could do it all again, I'd only grimace at the bill unfortunately as this hurt.

Awesome place in the City for American style BBQ. Place had a nice ambience and they were playing a great mix of southern rock. The menu listed lunch specials for £10 and £5 to add on an app. Expected scaled down portions and received full blown plates of grub. I had the brisket and sausage sandwich and it was tasty and the brisket was very tender. The sausage was spicy and tasty. Came with fries and a small cup of slaw. All in all, a really well put together dish. My bro ordered the BBQ platter and came with a huge rib, chicken, sausage, beans and other stuff I forgot. Was really a Texas style and sized plate of down home cooking. Both plates came with a beer. Darned worth the price padre. If the visit wasn’t short, I’d would really be back 2 or 3 more times. Mama kicking good.

Ah, Big Easy Canary Wharf, where the festive spirit meets a carnivore's paradise! Visiting during the Christmas rush was like stepping into Santa's grotto, if Santa was a barbecue enthusiast. The place was buzzing with energy, packed tighter than a Christmas stocking. We arrived to find a queue snaking through the reception like a conga line that lost its rhythm. But oh, the food! It's a barbecue galore, a symphony of smoky flavours that could make a vegetarian reconsider. The live music added to the ambience, turning every bite into a rhythmic munch. Luckily, our private room was an oasis of calm in the lively storm that was the main restaurant area. Nestled in the heart of fun – surrounded by bars and excitement – the location is a winner. Though the prices might make your wallet a bit lighter, it's the perfect spot for a staff night out. Think of it as an investment in team morale! In summary, Big Easy is the place to be if you're after great food, a lively atmosphere, and don't mind queuing up for a bit of Christmas cheer!

My colleagues and I had an enjoyable team meal at Big Easy in Canary Wharf, taking advantage of their January promotion - the 'Taste-O-Rama' for £10 (usually ~£22). It included St Louis Pork Rib, Carolina Pulled Pork, and Bar.B.Q Chicken with generous servings of their coleslaw, baked beans, and cornbread. The chicken was good and made me feel the meal was off to a good start. The pulled pork impressed even further, though I found the pork rib a bit dry. This was easily improved with their house BBQ sauce, but I feel it shouldn't have been necessary to add this to enjoy it. Of the sides, the coleslaw was a standout, which I recommend having a serving of it with anything you order. The the chunky chips were certainly enjoyable too. The cornbread was dry however, and definitely not a highlight. I can't comment on the beans as I did not partake, being that I'm generally not an enjoyer of beans and peas. Big Easy's downfall that day was the level of service. Finding a waiter was difficult, and some requests took longer than expected. In particular, it took us around 10 minutes to receive a bottle of water, after having taken around the same amount of time to get a waiter's attention in the first place. Despite this, the overall experience was enjoyable, especially at £10. Even at the regular price, you'll likely find it worth it, though I hope the ribs aren't always as dry as the one served to me that day!

A very enjoyable evening. A warm embracing ambience stemming from just the right level of lighting and good music; there was a live set at one point in the evening which was very good. We enjoyed all our courses. My Fillet Steak, accompanied by chunky chips and pan-fried spinach was very good and the apple crumble, for dessert, was just delicious. It was presented in an unusual manner: the apple was topped with giant-sized crumble and a scoop of ice cream. Additionally , there was a thick, but smooth, serving of warm custard. To cleanse the palate this dish Included a small glass of bourbon. The staff were warm, friendly and efficient. The toilets were spacious and clean. Good, informal dining.

Stepping into The Big Easy at Canary Wharf was like entering the heart of the American South; the decor created an immersive experience. Despite reservations about service, I was pleasantly surprised – quick service, prompt delivery of drinks and food, even during a bustling evening. Opting for the Taste-o-Bud, a medley of pulled pork, a substantial pork rib, chicken leg, coleslaw, and beans, I found the pulled pork to be a standout, tender and bursting with flavor. While the rib was good, a bit more seasoning could have elevated it. My wife, on the other hand, found the chicken BBQ burger only average. Considering the generous portions and reasonable prices, The Big Easy is worth a visit. I'd rate it 4/5 for an overall enjoyable dining experience.

Nice big restaurant with warm welcome. Well organised reception. Staff were friendly. Food orders taken without delay. Food and drinks served quickly. Food was nice and hot. Good quality and well presented. Good selection of food for all palates. Good range of steaks, chicken, burgers and seafood etc. The atmosphere was good although the music was pretty loud. I like music but we all ended up with sore throats trying to speak loudly! We spent just over £50.00 per head for drink, main course and dessert.

Not my style but it was an interesting experience! If you’re into that American bar vibe, country music and big barbecued & salted food then I would highly recommend. We found the Texas brisket very heavily salted but enjoyed our burger and chunky chips.

I enjoyed the live music and the food but the potato skins were slightly overdone. We booked on the day, so we had to wait 45 minutes. Unfortunately, we still had to wait an extra 15 minutes after our reservation time. I would recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. The staff were friendly.

The food variety is really great and plentiful . The service is brilliant and their staff are friendly and I didn't have long to wait for the food either. The food was amazing too. Great flavour and the ribs and chicken breast were huge, and so juicy! N This restaurant definitely caters for large groups if you needed. B.Q-inspired home cooking, fresh East Coast lobster and live music as our original restaurant, but with a lot more room for celebrating. An easy-going local favourite, bringing the American Gulf coast to one of London's most famous locations in the heart of the theatre district.

Used to love this place but stopped eating seafood last year so now almost no options ☹️ One vegan main meal and a couple of vegetarian starters and sides (out of which we constructed a meal). It seems like such a missed opportunity to not offer at least some of the amazing meat replacement options (like Rudy’s vegan ribs) that are available now, done in the southern style. Veges and vegans would absolutely travel for that! Something to consider Big Easy Team 👌

Love this place. Really good seating and tables nicely spaced out. Very nice looking seating and rustic interior. We got the lobster Mac and cheese, grilled prawns and lobster roll. Everything was really good. Food and the ingredients were fresh. The only sad part was that the card machines weren’t working.

Me and a group of friends visited the Canary Wharf branch of Big Easy recently, and the food was great. They cater well for large groups, and also for allergies or dietary requirements. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. I was able to get a copy of the allergen matrix before we booked. They also serve a range of delicious cocktails. I’d recommend the lobster, and the chicken wings - the portion sizes were decent.

The food is always good here! We went for a colleagues birthday meal and everyone had the meat dishes although this time I tried the vegan burger with vegan bacon and cheese and wow since when did eating vegan food become so delicious?! If you want to cut back on meat but want that meaty taste, this is the place to go. They didn’t have many vegan options but this burger, I was super impressed with. The service could do better but this deserves 5 star simply for the food. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Great quality!

Yummy meal at Big Easy! The food was delicious but messy, they provide good quality wet wipes, but you may want to bring additional. The ribs were juicy and flavoursome and the lobster was sweet. They give you crackers to help crack into your lobster. Service could had been improved, the waitress was attentive but we weren’t even served water for the table until requested.

I came here on Wednesday and had a great experience. Limitless hog roast or wings with sides and a 2 pint stein of beer for only £25pp... Can't go wrong there! Food was delicious and our server Marco was really friendly and went the extra mile. Lots of choice on the menu of BBQ food, desserts and drinks and I can imagine on a busier evening the buzzing atmosphere and live music must make it even better. Will definitely be returning soon!

Came here for the bottomless brunch. You get unlimited smoked meats( the servings were huge, we didn’t really need seconds) and drinks. Good location I must say, and worth the price you pay.

Amazing food, enjoyed all meals especially the whole lobster. Would have given 5* but the food was warm/cold. Had it been hot it would have been a 10/10 experience for us. Drinks/cocktails were nice, needed a little sweetening/syrup which staff were happy to add. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Lovely atmosphere with live music and great views. Will definitely visit again .

We got the TasteORama BBQ platter and the Crabshack combo. The meat platter was great and had good portions for the price. The ribs and the BBQ sauce tasted amazing. However, the brisket add on we got was dry and not worth it. The seafood was good but wasn’t the freshest. It was very busy and the atmosphere was lively.

We had our Valentines dinner with Valentines set menu booked in advance. The hostess greeted us with smiles but there was no table allocated for our reservation. We had to go inside and find empty table and ask the staff to clean it for us . After unwelcoming resistance from the staff we finally had someone to take our order . The staff had no idea about the Valentines menu and had to ask one of the managers where to find it . The menu was basic , small stake and half small lobster with chip no other choice and 1 drink of red or white wine or beer and 1 dessert. The food was served on stages , first drinks then chips, then the main .We asked for well done but the stake was covered in blood. Waiting for the stake to be grilled was annoying and by the time it arrived back to us the lobster was already cold and kind of tasteless and we didn’t enjoy eating it . Disappointed in the main we were looking forward the dessert .We ordered chocolate fondue but actually was small chocolate brownie with cream sprayed on top and melted , no presentation in a big plate no desert spoons . Big disappointment with this meal. The red whine was like vinegar we returned, the white wine was with taste of a box , but we cud not be bothered returning it because the disappointment of the dishes had made us to want to leave this place. Not a Valentines atmosphere , no red roses on the tables nothing to suggest Valentines celebration, no mention from staff . It was the usual Wednesday night half empty restaurant for diner . We don’t recommend this place for dinner and differently not for a date night .

Food portion too small Service: one of the waiters pissed me off, food dropped on his hand while serving me and didn't bother changing the prawn just said, sorry and left. Atmosphere: American Texan music - not my music Views: Ur literally over the river, good for an expensive date.

This brings me great sadness that I’m writing this poor review. Party of 3 had 2 COLD, tasteless, portions of the boozy brunch home smoked BBQ. I’ve been going Big Easy for many years, I usually get “TASTE-O-RAMA!” So I know how it’s supposed to taste. I could never fault Big easy before yesterday. We even told the waiter about the cold food and he put it on his notes for the next one to come hot. This was ignored by the chief. Very disappointing as my friends have never been and I’m always raving about Big Easy. I’ll just not get the brunch. You cannot take away which makes me think, are you recyling the food? We only had 2 portions anyway. The second was small. The senior allowed me on this occasion. On the plus side the waiter was great. It was really busy, the drinks were flowing.

Amazing place for some American bbq comfort food - the food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails also tasted good (there are normal and slushy options). The staff were lovely and everything came on time. This place is slightly pricier than average but it is a treat that’s worth it once in a while. Would definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. A very calm restaurant with good atmosphere and live music! First time experiencing Big Easy and will definitely go back there. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout the meal! (A special THANK YOU to Fabio and Dipu!!!) Obrigada😁 The food was absolutely delicious! I had crabshack combo and a half lobster which was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Not to mention the pina colada cocktail I had was very rich and refreshing! I couldn’t leave without trying their salted caramel ice cream!🍨 I had such a wonderful time at Big Easy restaurant. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience with affordable food.

Great location and atmosphere in Big Easy. Wide selection of meat and fish with selection even for vegetarian/vegan. Liked every aspect of it and I couldn’t comment without mentioning the great live music. Worth a visit even just for a drink.

Wish the lobster was unlimited 😂Great place! Delicious food, great and friendly staff. Our main server Anna was amazing! There was another girl that we kept asking for bottle of Prosecco. We loved her, but forgot to ask her name. She was very nice and kind. Overall we cannot wait to come back for another special occasion. And do it all over again! So much laughter and so much good food. Our bellies were full for the next three full days! Highly recommend Big Easy, to come here with your friends to have a good time! Thank you to the entire staff and especially to Anna!

If it’s busy, and it normally is, then expect to have very slow service from start to finish. Even eating at 9.45 when it’s quieter, it’s still slow. No fault of the team, they are just understaffed for the amount of people they have to serve. The food is bang average, including the specialty stuff they serve such as ribs, wings, lobster. I’d avoid the mac and cheese as it’s flavourless. Avoid the battered shrimp as it comes with a thick layer of batter, so by the time you get to shrimp you mouth is already too far gone in the grease and breadcrumbs of the outer layers. The cocktails are good, it’s priced reasonably considering it’s location. Wouldn’t be going back anytime soon and don’t recommend going when it’s busy. I have been when it’s quiet and I think the food and service is much better then as a bit more care goes into the whole process. Thanks

Very nice and super spacious place. You can buy here like I did , half pint 🍺 to try some options. It’s not a cheap place however the atmosphere is brilliant 🤩 Totally worth going to if you are in the area. Really good for group meetings. When it comes to alcohol 🍺 menu is wide.

It’s fine. Visited for the second time yesterday. The main negative is that during ‘happy hour’ you have to go to the bar for drinks on offer, even if you’re eating at the time. If you’re going to offer a deal, don’t punish your customer for it by making them go to the bar in an empty restaurant whilst staff stand around and watch you! Food is mostly great, cornbread was dry. Brisket is amazing. Staff are friendly but they do all tend to stand in a big group and watch you when the venue is quiet. Off putting! I’d go back probably. Not cheap.

Went for the lunchtime meal and was seated and served within about 10 minutes of entering the restaurant. Been here multiple times and never had a bad experience. Most I could say is my second drink took a while to come but that could've just been the heat making it feel longer than it was. Definitely worth a visit if you like great food.

Very slow slow service . Even the staff looked p***ed off . Some tried to be polite and help others did not care . Only one and half hours to finish your drinks and 3 courses . The food was ok , but it looked like it had sat under the heat lamps too long , so was rather just warm or dry . The side portions were small and dull . We didn’t have cutlery on our table. Everything had to be asked for . Won’t rush back there on a weekend . Apparently it’s better during the week as it’s not so busy ……. Apparently! This was my birthday treat from my kids . Ruined our evening .but Loved being with my babies ❤️

Big Easy, big atmosphere and BIG portions!! The Yankees are here! And they brought only the best of their cuisine with them. BBQ! The whole place smells like a sweet, salty bbq dream. The aesthetic here could not be more American, with huge hardwood tables and caged lights hanging from the ceiling. It's so fun! We went on a Thursday afternoon in January so it wasn't busy at all. I can imagine it gets extremely busy in there during peak hours. The county music that plays just loud enough across the restaurant is great and had me line dancing my way to our table by a window. The food was unbelievable, in size and in flavour. I could hardly believe my eyes when I spotted Hush Puppies on the menu, IYKYK and they did not disappoint. I had the lobster Cali roll for my main and it was delicious. Added some chips so I could try their blue cheese sauce and wow. Now that's a blue cheese sauce! Very reasonable prices considering the portion sizes and where you are. Suffice it to say we didn't finish everything and they were more than happy to bring us boxes to wrap it all up to take home for later. Great food, great service, we will be back Big Easy. Thank you.

The host was a really nice black girl with glasses I didn't get her name but she was great. They have a diverse workforce, and could do with better signage to direct people to the restaurant on foot. The lunch express menu is worth it, I had the stuffed jalapeno peppers 8/10 were really nice I wish they were a bit smaller though instead were of 4 big ones 8 small ones. That came with nachos in a basket 0/10 they were dry and tasteless.the salsa it was paired with was ok 7/10 a bit watery & overpowered by the onions but nice. The sweet chili sauce 10/10 was the STAR of the show I had the smokehouse burger & chips, burger was 8/10 because the bun was a little burnt but it was tasty. Chunky chips were 9/10. I got a strawberry daiquiri slushy 3/10 I didn't like it and a bottle of coke 10/10 should have added lemon in the glass and asked if I wanted a straw. The service was quick and the server was really polite Francisco. The toilets were very clean but need better lighting
