👍👍 Very cosy pub, great location. I had few pints very good and fresh. Staff very kind and lovely atmosphere and design. The pub is still around works so you can’t really see the sign but they will finish the works hopefully at some point Overall a great experience, which I wholeheartedly recommend.

    Warm and friendly atmosphere. If you are looking for a genuine pub in London this is the place to go. People/staff will welcome you in the family (French review 😉)

    Walk-ins avoid!!! I’m sure you can have a nice time if you book but walk ins get put in a corner, have to wait an hour for some drinks and you want to leave before they even arrive. Avoid if there are other options. If everywhere else is full it’s worth a try...

    Only in there for an hour but forgotten how good a proper old East End Pub was!!! Hopefully be back, born about a mile or so from there!!!

    What a pleasure to find there are still good old fashioned East End pubs in existence. We were welcomed and felt part of the family. The staff were great and the food terrific. All at very reasonable prices.

    Very slow service waited 49 minutes and still no drinks, plastic cups when they did arrive and uncovered seating . Very disappointed
