Great location close to the Tower and Tower Bridge. Lovely for walks and to grab a snack or dinner in one of the many locations around. Especially during a sunny day perfect for a visit. From there I would advise follow the Thames Path East for some more great views. And with a bit of luck you should be able to find the Queens barge somewhere around the dock.

St Kathrines is one of London's premier marinas and is home to a number of different size sailing vessels. Situated a stones throw from The Tower of London, a walk around this marina is a delightful addition to The Thames Walk.

It is a beautiful hidden gem that not many people know about or wonder down this way, even though it is right next to some of the most famous London historical landmarks. I almost didn't want to write a review to let this little secret out. It is such a nice marina with lovely cafes and the most beautiful pub you have seen!

This is a real gem, hidden out of the way in London. I live near London and thought I knew if fairly well but a good friend of mine brought me here for a late night walk. It's such a lovely, calm place to walk around away from the traffic and the hustle and bustle of London. It's lovely looking at the boats (and dreaming) and strolling round the many restaurants that face out onto the marina. Very nice, will be back to try a few more food/drink places...i mean walk 😉

Love St katherines dock right by Tower Bridge and so relaxing in the heart of London. Lovely pub and eating places. Great river views and walks along Thames. Boats are to dream of.

Took a stroll around St Katherine Docks with the family on a beautiful summer’s day. First time at St Katharine Docks and it was very lovely and almost did not feel like you were in the middle of London because it was a marina with lots of boats, restaurants and cafés more. It is a short walk from Tower Bridge and is definitely worth venturing around this beautiful part of our wonderful city of London.

LOVE THIS PLACE. Was staying in the Tower Hotel and our room overlooked it. Amazing looking at night when lit-up. Restaurants and bars galore. Choices for everyone. Can't wait to get back there again.

Nice place to walk to, very close to Tower Bridge and Tower Gateway station. Nice mix of pub, restaurants and coffee shops around the area. The marina is nice though need to make the long way around as one of the bridges (important as it is a shortcut) is missing

Great place to visit and spend an evening. Numerous excellent restaurants and places to have a drink. Enjoyed a pizza in Zizzi Restaurant and a few beers in The Dickens Inn.

We stayed at a flat over looking St. Katharine Docks Marina. Gorgeous view, lots of places to dine. It was close to a lot of attractions which he happily walked to.

This is another hidden gem that I like to visit. Is a very pleasant place for a walk with a lot of eateries and coffee shops to suit everyone's taste buds. There are boat shows and other events during the year.

Cute little spot of tranquility. An oasis literally in the middle of the city. Very nice place for a walk or to even spend some time sitting on the benches and enjoying the harbour view.

Having walked along Thames, I am frankly ashamed that I never actually went further than Tower Bridge. The are are FAR less people. It is super peaceful. You almost do feel like you are in London and you also have amazing views along the way as you go East. You can easily reach Canary Wharf, there are shops and multiple local restaurants that are not as touristic or as full.

Great place which usually gets missed by tourists; walking distance from tower of London. The pedestrian pathways and bridges are quite nice and the views are great. A lot of eateries around the docks too! Definitely worth visiting!

Great place next to the tower bridge with lots of small restaurants and cafes around. There are some really nice boats at the dock to view. Good place to have a stroll and have dinner or lunch.

One of London's hidden beauties. I would strongly recommend it for people visiting, for example, Tower Bridge

It's one of my favourite spots in London, so quite even during rushhour times. Different choices of cafes and restaurants all with great view, within few minutes from London Bridge. I can imagine it would be amazing at night time with all lights and boats great for dates

Took a stroll around St Katherine Docks after a river boat tour. This is a part of London I have not really explored. It was very lovely and almost did not feel like you were in the middle of London because it was a marina with lots of boats, restaurants and cafés more akin to the South of France. It is a short walk from Tower Bridge and is definitely worth venturing around this beautiful part of our wonderful city of London.

Lovely picturesque marina, albeit reminds you of the difference between rich and poor in the City! Lots of places to eat, naturally, though they're a little pricey.

Great well managed marina, really enjoy every time we get a chance to go out thought the lock, the facilities are always clean and well maintained to a very high standard. The staff are helpful and love to chat about the river conditions and answer questions about tides and locking times.
