Chisenhale Gallery is a non-profit contemporary art gallery based in London's East End. The organisation focuses on a programme of commissioned exhibitions, events, performances, and talks. Chisenhale Gallery produces four solo exhibitions each year. Interesting art video...Thao Nguyen Phan exhibition. Five stars for the video... First time here...a little disappointed, would have preferred to see more art works around the walls, there was too much empty space for such a big gallery hall. I do understand that Covid maybe was responsible for this choice of minimal art, but if directed properly with floor markings, I am sure another artist could have exhibited along side to have made it more worthwhile....There are so many LOCAL and non- professional artists around, surely more work can be added to show some inclusiveness and community diversity... Just an idea... Good Covid procedures in place...we booked our timed tickets beforehand.

Fantastic gallery. Great environment, I have been on such great meeting with the artist Lawrence Abu Hamdan. Absolutely great conversation which has been run by Stuart Comer Intellectual level of the conversation on a very high standards. Exhibition itself very honest, very true, very intelligent. We need more places like this on a map of our city full of commercial art galleries full of "hung it above sofa" art

Posting photos, but only as this was the last day of the exhibition. A small space, but this was done really well. Free and nice staff!

Bohemian, quirky. This gem is to be found in an old Spitfire propellor factory in a well-heeled street in Bow. At the cutting edge of below-the-fold contemporary art. Well connected to its neighbourhood, with works having reflected and examined neighbouring Victoria Park.

👍👍 I attended the Saturday Whisky School, and it was O for Owesome. The School gives you a tour and overview of the process, but the highlight is the chance to taste some of the ELLC range and come up with a custom blend to take home. Ryan was a superb host who knew his stuff, but also tailored the exp...
