Fantastic mosque. Went through difficult times over the years. Still standing strong. They provide all types of services from evening Islamic classes to funeral service. Gets really busy during Friday afternoon prayer. No on site parking. Very old building which is very expensive to maintain and I can say they have done very well to maintain it to very high standards. Please do donate generously. May Allah swt accept our donations and forgive all our past sins. May this mosque be standing very strong for many years to come. Ameen.

Great clean mosque tucked away off brick lane. Has plenty of space for women via separate entrance and their own wudu facilities. Fantastic for our sisters who work in the city and do not have space at their work to pray. Women’s entrance takes you down a set stairs into the basement so plenty of privacy. The prayer room has an LCD screen which links into the imam when praying in jammat.

Sisters/ Womens entrance is well signed. We popped in for asr and maghreb prayer (not jammat) and were able to access the space without issue alhamdullilah. The prayer space is well maintained and really nice; as is the remainder of the areas and stairs down to the sisters area. Ample wudhu space and very clean. Two toilets also available quite clean but sisters should be mindful to clean after themselves and maintain a nice space. I saw there is security camera when entering which is reassuring to know it will be safe. There are hooks for garments, shoe racks, books/quran, fans available. It does get quite warm down there. A water cooler or tap to refill bottles would be amazing addition. This prayer space does seem to be a hidden gem, I asked my cousins who are from the area and they were not aware this mosque had a sisters space - I discovered it via the 'muslimah app'. The space is indeed the basement area I liked that this makes it secluded but sisters we should mind our words when leaving reviews- I've travelled from quite far and am not familiar with this mosque and nearly didn't attend due to the very harsh reviews left before, this prayer space was almost made to sound like a dungeon! I understand maybe the space is smaller than wed like but alhamdullilah for the space, since attending mosque is not obligatory by the mercy of our lord for sisters I can understand why the majority of the space for the time being is for the brothers. InshaAllah in the future the sisters area can expand.

A sedate and sober Grade II Listed (1743) former church, then synagogue and currently a Mosque. This building upheld as go-to exemplar for religious tolerance/ immigration discourse by the burgeoning local Heritage Industry. An intricate tubular stainless steel minaret-like sculpture (2009) now dominates the streetscape. The sundial set on the triangular pediment above Fournier Street remains the focus here. An active community.

The mosque has good facilities and lots of room for the large amount of people attending during Jummuah prayers. It's really good to point out that this masjid splits the talk to ensure that a portion of the talk is in English. Mosque is located close to other shops that sell delicious treats which you could easily pick up on your way back to the office.

The people who run this mosque are really backward minded. They are racist to their own kinds and furthermore discriminate people with disability. They are more concerned about people donating so they can pocket it. Avoid this mosque at all costs.

Visited the mosque during my work related trip. The mosque is in a busy street packed with halal restaurant and shops. I prayed maghrib there so it wasn’t very busy however I can see it will be overcrowded very easily for jummah prayers. The main hall was nice and clean.

I use come here when I was younger and it was a lot nice. But with renovations and work done, it seems like it hasn't been maintained properly. The wudu area is dirty, and needs a good clean. Eg the dryer has hair and lots of dust around it. There's never someone in the reception - which is properly due to low demand. But a huge positive, this place is open all day. Unlike other mosque which only opens for certain prayer times. I guess its probably run, eg no volunteers to help out. I hope it improves I use this mosque a lot and would be a shame if it doesn't last.

Very happy with how the masjid is trying to improve and cater for the youth and sisters. The sisters facilities are much better than last year. The special summer course was also a huge success.

Spacious prayer hall. They had fans on during the heat of thev2022 summer and it was largely effective to keep the place cool. Ablution area is clear and spacious.

Walking through the east end there’s a feeling of darkness enveloping one. Then you see the mosque and upon entering there’s a feeing of peace like and oasis of calm, protecting and welcoming. The mosque inside is airy and light with huge windows.

Upon approaching Brick Lane Mosque Funeral Services to organise our mother’s funeral, the reception we received was very comforting. They took care of everything. They held our hands and guided us through everything from beginning to end. They were caring, comforting and gave us strength. We couldn’t have managed without them. The ceremony was simple, peaceful and beautiful. Alhamdullillah we give thanks to Allah for bringing us to these people. We are truly grateful for all their help and guidance. Thank you ❤️

The women section Is a bit further down from the men’s, the sign is on the wall outside. And it’s very warm but there are fans, it was surprisingly big.

Assalamu'allaikum, I am extremely grateful that there is a mosque in Brick Lane for sisters to use. However, I do think the prayer room for the sisters could be made a little more welcoming. Going downstairs through a nice wudu area before entering the prayer room is unusual but OK. Seeing the mosque online after my visit, I feel disappointed that sisters are deprived from using upstairs main mosque area. I feel made unwelcome after seeing downstairs prayer room with no screen for prayer times etc as they have upstairs. Plus sight, the wudu area and toilet were clean. Definitely room for improvement.

The mosque is very clean with a ladies prayer section in the basement. The water is heated for wudhu and the bathrooms are also clean.

Such a beautiful religious place for muslims in the heart of London. One of the most busiest and popular place is Whitechapel and this mosque is situated there.

I was surprised by the interior of the mosque. Beautifully designed mosque. Facilities for worshippers were spot on. Jazak Allah for the people who build this beautiful mosque and maintaining it. It will be very expensive to maintain the character, this shows how much people are generous towards the house of Allah.

They took care of my fathers body here and felt like they did a good job. They also let us see him for as long as we wanted.
