This market is a hidden gem in London. It is small but the food is amazing. Do try Vietnamese Bánh Mì Nên and Gyoza Guys (especially Vietnamese gyoza) as they are so so tasty. We definitely come back again!

Besides everything else, London is known for its markets. Fridays to Sundays are the best days to visit them. Maltby is primarily food and beverages, but there are other locations with flea market (clothes, etc.) effect. included, such as Liverpool market. My favorite food choices at Maltby Market: Bangers (Food: The Everything Sandwich) and La Pepia: Venezuelan Arepas). I went in the morning and returned before they closed because I loved the food and environment (get there before 4pm as they start to close up early). There are free bathrooms, which is awesome; my partner stated they weren't the cleanest but appreciated that they are free and no lines. You can get food and beverages (alcoholic and non) from restaurants here at Maltby, even though the two places I mentioned are stalls outdoors. There are benches you can sit on, and some restaurants with store fronts will allow you in (or have a separate seating area) if you are also purchasing from them. Special thanks to those who allowed me to snap photos of their food, in addition to my own😊

The Ropewalk – Maltby Street Market. There are over 150 markets in London, including traditional street markets, street food markets that specialize in takeaway foods, specialist markets for goods such as books, flowers, antiques or clothes, and farmers' and specialist food markets. Maltby Street Market open at the weekend, although this market is not the most famous markets in London but it could be crowded especially summer time. Hints : ■Nearest underground stations: Bermondsey and London Bridge. ■8 min walk from Tower Bridge. ■You can find a toilet in this market. ■Good selection of foods and beverages. Please come and support The Ropewalk – Maltby Street Market. There are more to be discovered by you 😍

Wonderful atmosphere and great variety of food, places to drink and even a luxury homewares store and beautiful flower shop. Perfect place for weekend lunch perusing and the variety of food mixed with the many choices of breweries, wine bars and coffee shops makes it the perfect place for most of us

Small than Borough but very good. Several food stalls along with some indoor dining and wares in the old railway arches. One was open to bring in your street food and enjoy a glass of wine selected by a lovely and knowledgeable chap. Only open at weekends but great for a Sunday stoll down from London Bridge

A hidden gem. Maltby market showcases dozens of food options from around the globe including dishes from Brazil, Ethiopia and the sea. Great for a quick bite or drink. It can feel congested given many people walk to and from the ends of the market (about 100 meters long)

Not far away from Borough market, find it very lively market and definitely a gem place for wine! Lots of wine and tapas bar around- great place to chill on weekends with friends!

It's such a fun place with great restaurants and food stands. If you want the best burger in London, hit Bangers and an amazing expresso martini visit Vivs!

The cutest street market in London 💛 A very interesting selection of food stalls, including steaks, gyozas, arepas and some glorious greek stuffed peppers that were a winner for me 👌 Check out Poulet for its ambience and get a plant from the lovely flower shop, Igloo, just at the other end of the bar.

Used to be one of my favourite markets to go to on weekends but can’t believe it has been so long since we have been here - as there are so many places in London that we just don’t get time to try them all and we had overlooked this one for a few years. As soon as I approached the market the lovely aroma in the air hit me and the South American music playing added to the cool vibe. Many of the food stalls have changed but always a good selection of food & drink from around the world. Relatively unknown as compared with other markets but a must do when you’re in London Particularly enjoyed the cheese blanket from La Pepia and the chicken baguette from the Vietnamese Banh Mi Nen

Foods from around the world, there were so many options it was hard to choose what to eat. Picked up some local gin and pasties, you could poke around this market for hours just snacking and trying new things. The market is small which was surprising, great little hidden gem.

Nice, little market hidden in an alley alongside the railway arches. I recommend the Amen Ethiopian stall. Taylor’s has some interesting jams & preserves. The vegan bakery is not too shabby either. Downside is that there’s nowhere near enough space for all the visitors to sit & enjoy the food.

First visit and thoroughly enjoyed. This is a very small market but it has lots to offer. There is a great selection of food and drink. We tried Kamala and had the Kottu dish - this was superb and vegan friendly. We would definitely recommend Instagram - hungrybelly.blog

No wonder this is the best rated street food market in London. The food scene is the best here and the options will spoil you. Do try the Ethiopian stall and the Empanadas served at the end of the market. Also unmissable is the Sri Lankan kothu stall. There are toilets too and all of the food stalls yet no strong smell of the food.

Stunning market in a relatively quiet part of central London. Great date spot. We found a craft beer bar with a cute balcony overlooking the market which was an enjoyable scene. Plenty of great food vendors. Get involved.

Gorgeous little place! A bit spenny but so much variety and luxury things! Next time I'll have a few oysters and delicious pastries! We went to Malt which was a gorgeous little establishment!

My first visit to this street market but will come back again. It is rather small, but very cozy with great food, wine&beer options. I loved The Malt - they serve craft beer and let you bring in your food. My choice for my fisrt visit was Ethiopian and will return again to try South American options.

Warming up to this market. Wasn't a fan but the steak and chips guys and my bf convinced me. Try all the stalls and pick your favourite they may even remember your name. Araw ice-creams are pretty yum too. Oh and Poulet's roast chicken 😋
