Took friends here for lunch. The place is conveniently located a few minutes walk to South Bank and London Eye. Leake Street tunnel is just to the back of the eatery. It’s one of the places reasonably priced especially the lunch deals and next to some famous sightseeing areas. It always has a lively atmosphere. There are tables outside and spacious canteen setting inside, cosy and casual. I had the pork goulasz (pork stew) lunch deal that comes with a drink and a trip to the salad bar. Pork was very tender and tasty, great paired with mashed potato. The beef cheeks was very tender in a rich sauce. Pierogi was tasty and quite filling so the lunch portion with salad was enough. I definitely recommend trying the flavoured vodkas if you are a drinker. Just don’t leave there legless! Service was friendly and efficient as always. We enjoyed a lovely lunch.

Really great food here. First time eating at a Polish restaurant, and it was a really good experience. Thanks to Zuza for serving us, explaining a couple of the dishes and being really positive with us. The dumplings are awesome both boiled and fried. The choice of drinks is really fun. Would happily go again.

I went here in January and was nearly blown away by how good it was. Yesterday I went back, it was fine but certain things weren't quite as good. The food didn't taste as fresh and came minutes after ordering. Drinks had gone up a lot and I understand its hard for restaurants but I hope they will continue to be value for money. I will still come here as o consider it the best restaurant in the area.

Nice place with different vibes than your usual restaurants. When we got there, the hosts were friendly and informed us we would have to wait to be seated. We did wait but less than expected and we were seated in a nice table. The food was good and the staff was friendly and eager to help. Now for the drawbacks: The biggest one was that the kitchen was really short staffed so we waited approximately 45 minutes for our food to be served. Another one is the prices, for three people with one drink each, a main and a side to share, we paid 96 pounds (!). I must admit it was a bit too much even for London. I highly recommend it, but visit them on a quiet day so you can enjoy everything in the right time and also not a very cold day, as the seating area is not very well heated due to the nature of the space (it used to be a tunnel).

If you like good Polish food, you will be very disappointed. I had the lunch offer for 10 pounds and chose the Placki with Gulasch and a Żywiec. The portion was very small, but I think for 10 pounds that's ok. However, the Placki were very hard and the Gulasch was a lot lighter than usual and I think it was pork although on the menu it is declared as beef. You can also chose a salad which was quite good. When I was finished with my food, nobody came for 30 minutes (although there were only a few guests in the restaurant) and had to pay at the counter. The ambiente is quite nice.

We were here today for the first time since they moved from E&C, which was quite some time ago. The food is good but portions are much smaller and prices are way higher than we expected. 10 pirogies for 10 quid is definitely an overkill. Plus, the service takes quite some time with piping hot food sitting and waiting on the counter while the waiter chit chats with other staff. Felt quite overlooked despite the place being almost empty.

Situated in a warehouse / railway arches type of venue. We were looking for somewhere to eat and came across this place. We decided to try the food. Really tasty wholesome food. We had braised ox cheeks with carrot salad and pork goulash with sauerkraut. Good service, reasonable prices. I would definitely visit again.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff are super friendly and energetic. It's a great place to go with a big group, especially if you want drinks along with the meal. Lots of choices of beer and vodka. The seating area is not cozy, it could be made a bit more comfortable, but it does have a unique casual vibe.

Traditional polish dishes cooked the way I remember from the family house. Crispy and dense potato cakes/plyndze were my first choice - love it with sugar but this time served saute still delicious. Smoky and milky rich cheese oscypek as a appetizer brought back mountain trips memories, sauer cabbage soup/kapuśniak was just prefect for a cold and rainy day served with absolutely amazing bread slice (had to order more of this bread, only bread lovers and polish people would understand the obsession ;)) Fried dumplings/pierogi are signature dish of polish cuisine - must have option from the menu! Ox cheeks were so delicate and soft, falling apart in a meaty, rich gravy. Served obviously with mashed potatoes. Absolutely amazing and delicious food. The service quick and very friendly. Waitress helpfull with dish choice. Interesting atmosphere of the restaurant - kind of a military camp style but very comfortable. As a pole I can highly recommend this place to everyone.

(Translated by Google) We visited restaurants today for the first time. Delicious food, the ordered dumplings were delivered from the kitchen in a short time. However, a few handling considerations, hence the downside. Despite the practically empty premises, no interest from the staff. After eating dumplings, we waited for the bill for about 20 minutes, resigned we had to go and pay when we left. Ordered drink never reached the table, cola - which was added to the bill at the end with an additional service charge. EDIT ::: the owner contacted us with a request to contact us by e-mail to clarify the situation and propose vouchers for the next visit as an apology. Apparently, however, it was only an answer "to the show" as we never got a reply from Mamuski. (Original) Odwiedziliśmy restauracje dzisiaj po raz pierwszy. Jedzenie pyszne, zamówione pierogi w krótkim czasie zostały wydane z kuchni. Jednak kilka uwag do obsługi, stąd ocena w dół.

I enjoyed the food, despite it being a bit heavy for my diet 😂 but this is typical polish i guess, nice and hearty with sour cream potatoes and onions! I really liked my potato pancakes, they were delicious. The mushroom sauce could’ve been a bit more seasoned, but it was still enjoyable. The pierogis were nice, although the goat cheese one was a bit too strong for my taste. But I liked them still overall. The only negative thing is that we had to order everything ourselves to the bar and pay service fee when there wasn’t much service… and the noise is really loud, with the live music in the background we could barely hear ourselves talking… which was a shame but we still enjoyed the food overall.

I enjoyed ordering Pierogi! Yummy. Mind you, the menu has some awesome polish dishes. My second visit and I introduced my friends who very much enjoyed it. They also have some great specials on certain days. Friendly service was greatly appreciated.

Zuza was very attentive! She recommended dishes that were amazing and made sure we got what we wanted. I asked her to surprise me with a drink and she served me a 'peachtini' which she invented herself. Come and try, it was light and refreshing like I asked for!

Nice environment, big space so there was plenty of seats on a Sunday night. The food is decent, although on the pricey side at about 12-15 per main. Service was not the best, had to wait a while for waiters to come by, and only 1 waiter was serving guests. Overall an average experience

Dined in twice. First time was great, food taste reminds me of my mums cooking which is a rare thing to get. Second time was also great except mix up with the food we’ve ordered & one rude server that even did not serve us prior to bringing the extra portion of dumplings to our table. (I wasn’t charged for the extra portion, so kudos to a more experienced server!) I would also double check the receipt next time as dining for two (first time) came nearly to a price of three of us the second time. Not sure where the discrepancies came up; knowing what we all had. Overall, enjoy the vibe and home cooking that taste really good!

Very good environment, awesome food taste, great attention and affordable prices. It goes a little pricey but you will enjoy the food, beer, cider and music for sure. Also, be aware that tips are usually included in the bill (+12%) if you do not ask for the opposite (quite unfair not to ask in advance).

We got their Schabowy Breaded Pork Loin with the cinderella mocktail. The drink was really good! Perfect level of sweetness and the different juices that went in it went really well together. The pork loin was also nicely done--the breading was super thin and crispy and well seasoned. The dish came with the unlimited salad bar which was just ok. The selection was extremely small (like maybe 3-4 things to choose from) and the flavors were mediocre.

I can't recommend this place enough. The staff was brilliant. Will serve you in either Polish or English with no issues. There was plenty of space to sit, tables had enough room for the food, drinks and a phone. Food presentation was fantastic! The taste and texture was just like your mum would make (assuming she knows how to cook). Please, always start your visit with "Polish coffee".

Such tasty food, lovely service and good value, and it was the first place we ate out in, since March 2020, so that tells you something in itself. When we went, it wasn't crowded, so we felt reasonably safe. I'll definitely be going back! Will Mamuska end up as a substantial nationwide chain, the Polish Nandos? I suspect so, but if it does, I hope it keeps to the simple and highly effective recipe of good food, friendly service and good value.

The best for Polish food in the entire Greater London area. I've been living here for years, worked in the hospitality industry for 3 and I haven't heard of any other Polish place in London than Mamuśka! It's genuine Polish food and drinks, everything completely in the vibe of a standard Polish pub. If you have them, leave your posh standards at the door, it's more of a gastropub than a restaurant. But a perfect gastropub at that!

Had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Mamuska Polish Restaurant in London! The Polish cuisine here is truly wonderful, offering an authenticity that’s hard to find anywhere else outside of Poland. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was impeccable. A special shoutout to Patryk, who was fantastic throughout my visit. His recommendations were spot on, that were both traditional and bursting with flavors. It’s rare to find such a gem that pays homage to Polish culinary traditions with such passion and excellence. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. I swear, this is probably the best Polish restaurant outside of Poland. Highly recommend to anyone looking to explore Polish cuisine at its finest!

Had potatoe pancakes with goulash. The portion was decent and the taste overall was OK but it's a pork goulash which was a bit disappointing as I prefer beef. Pancakes were tasty and well seasoned. They had a nice crunch on the edges even after being covered with goulash which means they were fried to order and not reheated. The goulash itself was a bit lumpy. Not sure what they thickened it with. The salad buffet is awesome. Loved the gherkins and grated beetroot. My only complaint is that I had to go to the counter to ask for someone to take our order and pay after even with the restaurant being almost empty - there was a group of 4 sitting behind us. Having said that, the staff are very pleasant. I will come back to try some dumplings and will update my review.

As a self appointed connoisseur of Polish delicacies I am very happy to report that this restaurant is the best place I've found (other than my wife's kitchen) to eat Polish food outside of Poland! Food wise it's got very much a bar mleczny (milk bar) vibe but there's elements of karczma in there too. The food is not fine dining, nor does it try to be, so if that's what you're after this place likely isn't for you. That said, it's good hearty homecooked Polish food, the stuff that would have no doubt throughout history fuelled their winged hussars as they marched to victory in battle! It's babcia's kitchen, and its great! Atmosphere wise it's odd, but I like it. Hard to make an archway feel like home, but they've pulled off something else, and it works. Think Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lair with colour changing LEDs! Service wise, great, my only niggle would be that on two visits my second round of drinks were forgotten about and they needed to be reminded. That said, both times it was busy, very busy, and I didn't need to wait. On that note, I think I know why it's busy! Must have side dish? Smalec, every time!

First time having Polish food in London, and what a great place to start! The food was exceptional; me and my partner shared a starter together, the bread and smalec, which was delicious. We had a the Schabowy dish as our main, and fill us up it did. Great portions, with great quality. For dessert, we shared a Szarlotka cake, and it was a great treat. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice, and relatively lively. The amount of space in the restaurant was also great, and the decor that went with it also stood out. The service overall was a great experience, as the waiters were kind all throughout, and spoke the language of the restaurant's theme, Polish. One con of the restaurant that could be noted was the price, but everything else compensated this. Overall, me and my partner had an amazing time. Highly recommended, for those escaping the heavy rains of London, as it did today!

I can not recommend this restaurant! First thing that happened was that I received an email on my reservation with other email addresses in cc - meaning they shared my personal data! Second, when I came there, the toilet and facilities were super dirty. Third, they served meat although my order was vegan! After that, I needed to wait for another 20 minutes although there were just 4 other guests who were already served. Not to mention that everything they serve, they serve in PLASTIC BOXES! Never again 👎

Amazing food, very nice location and venue (tricky parking but that's London so no surprises here). Some staff could do with a bit more training and commitment. But in general great place to have date, dinner with friends or just grab and taste some original Polish cuisine.

I was disappointed in this in the end.more pricy than you should expect at a place that works on Basics. The potatoes plinkski were really good and kept their form but the sauce was tasteless and cold towards the end. The salad bar had a tray of canned veg that contrasted poorly with the great carrot slaw and tsatiki. Watch out for the service charge and a friendly hello when you arrive r wouldn't go amiss.

I absolutely adore this place. I've gone solo and also used it as an events space for work (pic included of the setup.) The staff is brilliant and friendly. The space is open and comfortable and also child friendly! I went for a kids birthday party several years ago and they set up a play pen for the kids. And finally the food...oof how I dream of their pirogis. Meat, veggie, vegan - all incredibly delicious. They live in my head rent free. Do yourself a service and go check them out.

Waited a long time to be served and in the mean time tried to use the app but it was too buggy to use. When we were eventually served (after getting up and going to staff for attention) it was in a rude manner. On the plus side the food was great.

I've not yet been to Poland, but most of the staff I met were from there. The food was great! We got the meal for two and couldn't finish it (and we can pack it away if we let ourselves). Great atmosphere, frienldy staff. Reasonably priced. We are first time visitors to London and do not regret our meal here! We will definitely return if we pass through London again.

Took my friends to celebrate my birthday there. We ordered variety of food, and I have to say that this was my first ever polish restaurant that I was fully enjoying my food. They have there as well many of drinks to choose from as well as tasty desserts. We were happy from the service too.
