This is a really great leisure centre, lovely pool, great, friendly staff. Nice and clean on the whole. I haven't used the gym facilities yet but hope to do so in the future. Just a couple of minor points, would be great to have a swimsuit spinner machine to get the excess water out your swimsuit after swimming. Also annoying that you need a token for the locker each time. Nobody really carries cash on them anymore, and it would be great if the token could be reused each visit instead of having to pay every time. Other than that, great facility!

Good size leisure centre. The gym is always too hot, especially during summer, and even just after Covid they refused to turn it down which made it feel really unsafe. Similar to what other people have said changing rooms often very dirty / stink and a lot if the time the soap dispensers and hand gel dispensers are left empty. I definitely wouldn’t fancy showering there as would come out feeling disgusting. Good facility, could be managed a lot better

It's big and lots of facilities., but its difficult to use them frequently. Specially the Swimming pool are always shut for countless reason.. Even after 8pm.. Why dont they let the pool free after 8pm, so at least working class gym goer can use it. Bathrooms are stinks all the time,. Should use something to make it bearable.. In the Fitness suits, most of the the assistant are busy chatting up ladies gym users, no time for man.. Typical.. No Complain on that .. LOL Over all, its a 3 start.. It's understandable, they may also have cutback and we all know Newham council is not here to help people but take money out of our pocket.. Hope to see them improve the services, also if can reduce the cost of monthly charge, at least that much the people of this council deserve. I'll try to add some videos too..

There is car park but gates are closed, when you booking they do not mention about car park there is no parking place around leisure centre i could use the leisure centre, definitely not recommended.

Visited the centre for vaccinations, so cannot discuss it use for leisure. The centre is large and spacious. The place was clean and the staff were pleasant . The basketball hoops were standard size and in good condition. The centre near the town hall and located in the busy town centre. The facilities look decent and it is worth checking for its leisure elements.

Was dreading our weekly visit today with it being so hot! Every week its been hot in the sports hall due to the really poor design of the roof. There is no ventilation at all. It's 25° outside and I am willing to bet it was close to 40° inside. Its not safe. Newham council need to do immediate works in there to rectify the problem. Why oh why would you put 50% glass roof coverage with not opening panels for ventilation as a minimum?? Bonkers

Lots of thieves inside the gym and the manager wouldn't help to check the camera of the gym to find who steals the stuffs.. bad experience.

I started swimming lessons here around 3 months ago and it's been great. My teacher, April, was awesome - she's patient with us, kind, a great communicator and really supportive!

Little bit expensive for 2 hours session. Apart of this very clean location with 3 diferite steam rooms and one dry sauna. Large jacuzzi pool fitted with two powerfull waterfall.

Very nice with modern up to date facilities and equipments. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit with the family. Car parking on site is very limited 15 cars or so space only. Staff are friendly and professional too. Would recommend

Would have liked cubicals for privacy. Hairdryers not very good quality. Poor nice little small. Good lifeguards watchful attentive. Nice reception lady very helpful as had no cash to pay for locker, so maybe introduce non payment locker

Very good group sessions led by skilled trainers. Unfortuately facility is grubby. Yoga mats are very dirty.

Great to have a leisure centre with a dedicated women's gym section. The vibe in that room is awesome.

If you are planning to come for badminton here don't come and take membership here. They charge extra for 4pm to 8pm and give that area for other activities and people can book that court to continue 2-3 weeks Also. Then what is the point for charging the money from the members.

My sons phone got stolen from the locker and manager told my son its his fault, no compassion no help to look or anything. Won't be going there again, not safe.

Terrible ventilation system . I think it is not working.… Outside less hotter then inside the centre

It has good facilities compared to newham. Only problem with parking. It must have good parking space considering there are lots of spaces on campus they are not allowed to park in other spaces on campus if the small parking area is full. That's very bad management

Very limited parking spaces. Always busy counter staffs. Not that friendly. Badminton court is one of the best in London, but regular floor cleaning is required. Good size pool with a separate toddler pool.

I've always liked East Ham. Haven't been there for a long time. Nicely updated.

Great gym and a reasonable price. The have treadmills, cross trainers, cycling machines and a range of weight machines. Plus a ladies gym, badminton and a swimming pool.

Based on their gym membership... it's definitely overpriced and equipment is generally worn out. Particularly the free weights. There are sooo many dumbbells between 25-50kg (majority of which nobody touches so they're sparkling brand new condition) but some sets are even missing between 8-20kg. Not very inviting for beginners or average fitness levels. What gives this place a bit of a boost is the swimming and sports like martial arts which is nice for families. It also has a free crèche service if you sign up to a membership so thats a good bonus for those with small kids.

Female shower and wet changing room always stinks and is in desperate need of proper ventilation. There are ugly fat brown flies chilling on the tiles in the shower blocks. Doors are filthy. Place needs a thorough deep clean every week. Swimming pool is often dirty and the sessions can be of poor quality when they cut up the pool into loads of little sections to accommodate many people/groups/lessons etc. all happening at the same time. Facilities are poor but staff are okay hence two stars.

Nice place for leisure but be aware of theieves as a customers and take your belongs.
