I have now taken two tours with The English Bus (Oxford/Cotswolds/Stratford and Kent/Canterbury /Dover). Both tours were outstanding. The service The English Bus provides is a step above anything you would get with another tour company. My two guides (Johny and Chris) were both so great. Both of them were incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and funny. Chris went out of his way to make sure everyone got back to their hotels safely and conveniently at the end of a long day. I wish I could personally thank both of them again and again for such an amazing time on both of the trips I took with them. They are also a family-run business which puts them even closer to my heart. They truly put everything they have in to these tours and you would be hard-pressed to find anyone as good and certainly will not find a better tour company in London. 10/10 wild recommend them to anyone looking to escape London for a day and explore more of what England has to offer.

We absolutely enjoyed our tour to Stonehenge, Bath, and the Cotswolds with the English Bus. Our guide Andy was entertaining and knowledgeable, and was able to provide quite a bit of commentary about London as we were exiting the city. A perfect day in the English countryside, made even better by a wonderful company and a great guide. We are already making plans to return, and the English Bus will definitely be part of our plans!

We had an incredible day with The English Bus going to Stonehenge and Bath. Our driver and tour guide Johny was awesome and hilarious! We saw and learned so many things on the tour. He basically talked the entire time we were in the bus and constantly pointed out interesting things. He was very friendly and engaging with everyone in the bus and was full of k-nowledge about everything we saw. Being in such a small bus was great; the bus was able to go places that larger buses can't and it was much more personal than a larger bus would've been. We felt that we had enough time at the different locations and the secret place was great as well. It's been a couple of weeks since we did the tour, but we still find ourselves regularly quoting Johny or talking about something we learned or saw that day. Highly recommended! A++

This was my first time in London and the UK and I just had the best experience with the English Bus. My tour guide, Lilly, was so enthusiastic and genuinely cared about the people on the tour and wanted to get to know each and every one of us. We did Stonehenge, Bath and Cotswolds in one day and Lilly did so well making sure that we saw everything we wanted to see and that none of us got lost along the way. I highly recommend this family owed tour company and Lilly and cannot thank them enough for making it such a pleasant experience. :)

June 15th, my husband and I had the immense fortune and pleasure to be on tour with The English Bus in the company of a few other families. It was a very cute bus, very clean, and super comfortable. Best of all was our beautiful guide and driver Lilly who took us to Bath, Stonehenge and a "secret" place! Lilly was very friendly, considerate, humorous, and knowledgeable. She made each of us (I certainly did) feel welcome and seen. I loved how she told us histories of places (some were lores, I think) we passed by with just the right amount of levity injected to make the whole company roll with laughter. She was always reminding us of where the washrooms (toilet in the UK) were at every stop, inquiring if we needed to have a washroom break, and letting us know many times where to meet up again at the end of the stop before letting us go off on our own. It's been almost two weeks, but every time I view our photos, I am filled with the warmth and enjoyment that day brought to our vacation in London. I hope we get Lilly the next time we drop by for another out of town foray. Love that gal!

What luck! I was one of three people on this tour to Oxford, Stratford Upon Avon and the Cotswolds. Andy our guide was engaging, knowledgeable and gave us such a unique and personal experience that I would have loved to have gone on more tours with The English Bus if they were available. Chris at the home office was also very responsive to all of my questions. A very professional tour company with small comfortable vans that get you on the back roads the large buses cannot. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

The English Bus provided the most affordable tour we could find, the best itinerary, the best pick-up spots, and a very witty and friendly tour guide. The pick-up times were at a very reasonable time, 8:45 or 9:10 AM, compared to some of the other tours that pick up way too early for tourists adjusting to jet lag. They planned a very well curated itinerary of Stratford-upon-Avon, the Cotswolds, and Oxford, three incredible spots. Our tour guide, Andy Sawyer, right off the bat was funny, accommodating, and so enjoyable to chat with and spend time around. He gave very comprehensive commentary, describing everything we were seeing outside, and included tons fo quirky and funny stories along the way, which we LOVED. Great entertainment, wittiness, and interesting history. Andy has a true talent for socializing and storytelling. One of the best tour guides I have ever met. The bus was clean, comfortable, with USB charging ports, AC, and a reading light, and a nice quaint size. I really enjoyed all the spots we got to see. It's a good experience if you prefer driving through and seeing the most sights possible rather than staying in one place and walking around for hours. We got a lot of sight seeing in. If I were to do it again I would bring my own lunch and snacks because there wasn't enough time to get a sit-down meal, and honestly, the food options in the Cotswolds and Stratford were terrible (unless you can eat sausage rolls and scones all day). There were great food options in Oxford, but you had to be hasty because you'll want to spend most your time seeing the university and city and not miss the meet-up time! Overall, I loved the experience, and Andy really brought the whole tour to life. The booking was easy, they had next-day availability which was AMAZING, website was well-done and easy to navigate, and communications were clear and comprehensive. Thank you The English Bus for an amazing day!!

My girlfriend and I were visiting England from New York City, and we took this great tour from London to Stonehenge. It was a beautiful way to spend the day. Right away we were in good hands with our tour guide, Andy. He met us right where they said they'd be and, just as importantly, our guide, Andy, WAS ON TIME! The drive through the English country side was beautiful and Andy had a lot of great information and details to point out. It was very easy for the group to interact with him as he answered our questions along the way. The stop at the "Secret Place" was stupendous. We enjoyed taking the very small country roads. Going to Bath was very historic. We had time to get lunch on our own and do sightseeing. We joined up with Andy as he took us on a well explained walking tour. And then there was Stonehenge. Wow !!!! That is all I can say. We had been wanting to see this place for so long. Time was given to walk around and take in the spirituality and our thoughts of Stonehenge. During the day, there were stops to use the Loo, which was highly appreciated.

This is the second time we used The English Bus company. We had as our guides Chris and Andy. You could not of asked for a more professional team. They use the smaller 15 passenger bus for their tours. DON'T be herded on other huge busses. The busses go where others can't, and they don't give the kind of personal experience like we received. We took the Stonehenge, Bath, and "Secret Place" tour. Book your tour with this company - you can't go wrong !!

AMAZING tour of Stonehenge, Bath and the ‘Secret Place’. If you are looking for a great way to see these sites, this company is the way to go. We were in London for the Laver Cup and had a free day so we decided to do some sightseeing. We had a GREAT day. The group size was perfect. We were very lucky to have Chris, who happens to be the owner of the company, as our guide. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. The ‘Secret Place’ was a real BONUS. Couldn’t have asked for more. I highly recommend the English Bus Company. We will definitely take another tour with them.

Philip (the bus) was very comfortable and offered good viewing of the English countryside and villages. Tony (the driver and guide) was a pleasant conversationalist that had many interesting facts and stories about the places we went and saw. He was also most helpful and knowledgeable about getting around both the destinations and London on our return. Well worth the price and if I visit again may well do another of the day tour options.

Had a great tour of Stonehenge and Bath (and a secret place) with the super friendly Lilly! She was very knowledgeable and shared history and facts along our drive. Loved that the tour was only 16 people. Would highly recommend booking the English Bus Company.

Whoop Whoop. Cost a tad bit more than the other companies, but we'll with it. Andy was our tour guide and my gosh he had a funny line and story about everything. My high school teens couldn't stop talking about our tour last night after we finished. Amazing time.

We had such a great time on our trip to Stonehenge, Bath, and the secret place. Loved the small group vs. larger bus tours. Lucy was a great guide. She was knowledgeable, funny, and went out of her way to make our day special. Highly recommended!

5 star tour! I'm so glad I was able to book the Stonehenge, Bath and a secret Location tour. Cara and Johny greeted us at the London Eye pick up, prompt and ready to go! Cara was our tour guide and she was fabulous! She made sure our little group was comfy and at ease all day. As we left London, she gave a brief explanation of the areas we were passing, providing a little background on their origins, plus some recommendations on places to visit. As we approached Stonehenge, we noticed it was getting pretty windy and as we arrived, we realized that the site was closed due to the aggressive winds. I was bummed, thinking we would just head on to Bath, but no! Cara and Johny worked their magic and took us to a "back" route and managed to get us right at the fenced area, with no other people in sight! They told us that we all paid to see Stonehenge and that's what they would provide for us today. We walked alongside sheep and had breathtaking views of Stonhenge on the start on the first day of Winter Solstice. Johny spoke about Stonehenge and provided wonderful information about this wonder. Once our time was up, we moved on to Bath and our secret location. Throughout the tour Johny and Cara went above and beyond to make the trip memorable. They mingled with everyone as a group and one on one, and they remembered our names for the whole day, just from reading our names on the attendance roster in the morning! Bath was amazing! busy, but amazing and our secret location was awesome! We made it back to London around 8ish nighttime and Cara dropped us off or our nearest tube station, which was nice so we wouldn't have to make a long journey from our initial pickup. If you're in London for a few days and can spare a day, book with The English bus! you will enjoy it so much!

We did the Stonehenge, Bath, and a secret place tour and it was fantastic! One of the best tours we’ve been on, and that is all thanks to Cara. She gave so much unique and interesting information to us all day long. We got stuck in traffic and she immediately turned around and took us a different route so we wouldn’t lose any time. She was even so kind to give us recommendations for things to do and places to eat in London. The sites visited were incredible. It was nice to have a small group and a guide to provide so much knowledge and be so enthusiastic. I highly recommend this tour and this company!

We took the Stonehenge, Castle Combe, and Bath tour. Andy was great and provided wonderful commentary throughout the whole trip (London through Bath) which was much appreciated. I do wish we had a little more time in Bath to explore, but all in all it was well worth the trip and I would highly recommend this touring company.
