In the end of the market. A cozy and quiet place with quality coffee. No matter drink it there or taking away, Monmouth coffee can bring a memorable taster for a day. It is a pity that they sell some coffee beans there not all of them.

Monmouth coffee is my favourite and it is the best coffee in London and by far. For many years now, I have regularly been buying my ground coffee and enjoying it at home. I have tried all the varieties that they offer and have settled on the Espresso Blend . As for the freshest coffee, it can be found at the Bermondsey Branch and equally their service is outstanding and by far better than anywhere else. Borough Market's comes second and my least favourite is Covent Garden's although it is the closest to where I live. Most unfortunately, the manager there is very unprofessional and also not a nice character. She always wants to push for selling the old coffee she has, at times it was 9-10 days since it has been roasted, and justifies it by saying: "I want to shift my stock" rather than being professional and selling what the customer wishes to buy and is paying for. It is not cheap. 1 kg is for £30. She is stubbornly dim and couldn't cope with a logical argument so instead she blamed one of her staff who was totally innocent. I stopped going there and now make the trip all the way to Bermondsey to buy what I want. Highly recommended! The customer service, at their HQ, is very good. All over is great and everyone is, too, bar from Covent Garden's manager.

The best coffee and very helpful staff when choosing beans, even when they're busy serving drinks.

I regularly get Monmouth coffee but hadn't been to this branch before. The coffee is excellent as always and this branch has a very calm, chill atmosphere. It's less of a cafe vibe but for take away coffee and beans it's perfect - I didn't have to queue and the service was lovely.

Friendly quiet place to stop when cycling around London on a Saturday. There’s also an ice creamery next door in case I bring my kid. Outdoor space only.

Monmouth Coffee's roasting facility resides at Spa Terminus in Bermondsey, where they ingeniously converted five arches into spaces for roasting, tasting, and offices. It's open to the public at the weekend. Pop along if you want to buy beans to grind at home. You can also buy a coffee and croissants. They don't have any inside seating but you can perch your coffee on a shelf outside. You'll also find a bench near one of the industrial park entrances. Spa Terminus is a collection of food and beverage suppliers who usually sell to the trade but open their doors to the public, mostly on Saturday mornings. It's a great place to pick up Neal's Yard Cheeses and other delicious things to eat and drink.

The best coffee and almond croissant I have had. Honestly impressed. I had visited the place prepandemic and was curious how it is doing. Well they did not disappoint. Same delicious coffee and tasty breakfast. Service was polite and their zero waste policy is awesome!

Best coffee that we have been trying so far. We become regular buyers for our monthly coffee grind at home. The quality of the coffee is one of the best in London and around the world. We can always smell the coffee in our bag after purchase, which just makes us happier! The price is also reasonable, so we will buy our daily coffee here.

We love going to Monmouth coffee with our toddler. We love the coffee and pastries, buy our coffee beans to take home and there’s a great space to run around and play.

£17.60 for two coffees with the cup charge. The coffee’s good, but not that good. Inconvenient to return

BRING YOUR OWN FRIKKIN’ CUP! As if when we travel we bring our own?! Ludicrous. Apply a takeaway cup tax like the plastic bag in Tesco. Actually go and get a coffee from Tesco as it’s probably nicer. £5 for a loan cup to drink outside…. Lol. Just lol. Oh, 2 days to refund back to the card 😂🤣 Monmouth should start a circus as they really are running one already with this show

Very good coffee, no seating space. Great place to buy some coffee beans home. If you wanna have a cuppa it is recommended to bring your own mug, otherwise you will need to pay extra for a takeaway cup (refundable on return).

Monmouth know their coffee! I’ve tried a lot, from a lot of different places, but their espresso wholebean blend is one of my all-time favourites. They have some very special single-origin coffees too. It isn’t cheap — good coffee never is, wherever you get it — but these guys source ethically, direct from the farmer, and pay good prices to the farmer, but it is very good value considering the quality you’re getting. 5/5 for product and service. Knocking a star off, however, because the last time I wanted a coffee to drink on the way home, I was politely informed that paper cups were no longer available and thus I would have to either bring my own cup or buy one for £5! I left with just my coffee beans. I was disappointed as their baristas make far better coffee than I can! I understand the rationale for this, but maybe some environmentally-friendly paper cups could be sourced?

A special treat. Somehow their coffee has different consistency, some sort of extra depth 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 Highly recommend!

Fantastic staff, great coffee to takeaway, bringing your own cup works out well too. Only place i drink filter. Also the only place i now get beans. They seem to be more flavoursome than elsewhere.

I was out of decaff and was forced to rely on Monmouth Coffee's decaff from a local outlet... It cost me £11. Not only was I horrified at the price, when I got home and used it in my filter it had no flavour at all and tasted old like it had been roasted a long long time ago.. I can't believe this is the best they can do for decaff. Next time I go shopping I will be purchasing multiple packs of my favourite decaff, rich in flavour, from a supermarket at just £3.99 - which appears to be a steal at the price.

One of, maybe even *the*, premium artisan craft sourcer and roaster of some of the very best coffee beans in the UK. Monmouth have possibly the biggest brand awareness amongst craft coffee roasters. Throughout the UK you will find many cafes that have a strong coffee offering promoting that they have Monmouth beans. So what is this Monmouth HQ outlet like? It is effectively just a hole in the wall (railway arches) from which you can always buy the latest roasted beans, with a range of about a couple dozen coffees, including some decaf, and some roasted from espresso. Service is almost friendly, and from knowledgeable and passionate staff. At popular times, you may experience quite a wait, since scooping and bagging and sometimes grinding beans takes time. You can pick up a flyer which describes the current coffees and their flavour notes whilst you wait. You can also get take-out coffee here, and potentially sit in a little park nearby to enjoy it, or maybe combine it with an ice cream from ice cream union, right next door more or less.

I get my coffee here every week or so and it's honestly great. Besides the range of choice when it comes to beans, the staff are always nice, helpful and passionate about coffe. Truly a joy to shop at!

I love this place, any of their branches is a guarantee of high quality coffee. I been in their three locations in London and always the staff is amazingly good with their service and knowledge of the coffee they are offering, either, the coffee beens or drinks. Plus, I guarantee you, it would be a great cup of coffee. I have nothing but praised and admiration for the brand, management and more than everything, their staff.

I’ve been purchasing domestic ground espresso from Monmouth for my Sage machine at home, ordered multiple times though out the year with no issues and then most recently the grind was much too small for me to use. I emailed through to the team to explain, tried some troubleshooting but was unable to use the bag that was sent. The team kindly sent our replacements of different grind sizes with next day delivery for me to try so that I can put notes on my orders going forwards so I don’t run into the same problem again. All correspondence has been so quick, I’ve been looked after as a customer and cannot fault the service I’ve received. And the coffee is really tasty!
