This hotel is pure luxury. If you really want to be pampered to the extreme then this is the place for you. From the front lobby to the elegant lifts and plush corridors this place oozes decadence and finery. We were offered the turn down service which I thought would be just a case of plumping up the already soft pillows and rolling back the duvet, far from it. Certain very elegant lamps were turned off and others left on, slippers placed by the bed on a very cute mat and fresh water on the bedside tables. Curtains were drawn and classic fm was playing very softly on the radio. I'm not sure how just a few tiny details could create such a relaxed and calming ambiance to a room but it did. I took a dip in the heated pool on the third floor at around 7pm and had the whole place to myself. I truly felt like a king. All the staff we came into contact with were polite, helpful and kind and housekeeping is nothing like I have seen before. They pay attention to the tiniest details in the room and make everything look just right everytime they clean. You definitely pay a price for all this but life is short and this is one place you have to stay in at least once.

Wow what a beautiful experience! We visited the American Bar after our show in the West end. We were made to feel so special by the staff and enjoyed some delicious cocktails and listened to the excellent pianist. What a treat!

We went to celebrate my daughter's birthday and have afternoon tea. My words can not do just to the incredible time we had. The Thames Foyer, where we were seated, looks magnificent. Our tabe was ready when we arrived, and what made the experience even more memorable is the live piano music. You enter a place that is timeless. The service was beyond expectations. The menu offers something for even the most discriminate customer. It is a culinary experience. The food was presented beautifully, the flavors were well combined. All the senses of my palate were pleased. The presentation was great. Thomas, the young man who served us, was attentive to make sure that our tea was hot and our cups were filled as needed. It was like living a great symphony, of which you just couldn't wait to see what was next.

Spent three wonderful nights here for a special birthday. Hotel, service and staff are excellent. There were a few little issues, but hats off to Valentin who rectified these very generously. It’s not always about what goes wrong, it’s often more to do with how those issues are handled, and Valentin on behalf of the fabulous Savoy showed just what a top class hotel this is. Highly recommended.

We stayed this hotel to make memories before the birth of our first baby. Now that our stay is over, we strongly hope to stay this hotel again after our child is born! The best experience I have ever had! Staffs are attentive and friendly, and food is delicious. I always have a hard time eating out because of my dietary restrictions during pregnancy, but the hotel took excellent care of me and I was able to relax and enjoy my meal. Everything is perfect.

It's absolutely fabulous. Everything was so lovely. My granddaughter at 10 years of age loved it. She was even asked prior to our visit via email to me what sandwiches she would like. Everyone was so attentive, kind, and friendly. We will go back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

There's 5 star service....and then there's the Savoy London 5 star service. Check in with Daniel was awesome, as Accor member he arranged an amazing upgraded room and gave us the tour of the hotel. Tomas delivered looked after our luggage, and then remember our names over the 5 day stay. He checked in with us, gave us great recommendations of things to see and places to dine, and he said that the Savoy Concierge service was unbeatable. I decided to test the Concierge staff and asked for theatre tickets, for a sold out show, that opened the night before. Did they come through? Sure did! We watched from the Stalls third row! The team also made us a reservation for after the show at the "American Bar" for dinner. Isaac looked after us, great food...and we met celebrities who had a quick meal after their show. Isaac also remembered what our likes were two days later! On our last night, we walk into our Suite, and the team had setup snacks and beverages for our last night! Absolutely incredible experience.

Never in my life have I had such an experience, from the entrance the welcome and greeting. The decor is world class the most amazing surroundings. My wife and I went for afternoon tea, for our wedding anniversary. The staff are attentive and nothing was too much for them. The range of teas available amazing. The cakes, sandwiches and scones all the best o have ever had. They had a pianist who played songs from memory. We asked her to play out wedding song and lucky she knew it. I would go back tomorrow if I could. Excellent experience.

I visited the Spa recently and had the Savoy Signature massage. This is the best massage I’ve ever had! Ellen was absolutely amazing. She explained everything she was going to do and I felt the most relaxed I have ever felt. She is an asset to the Savoy. The whole experience was amazing. The lovely gentleman at the reception was really friendly and even offered to book a restaurant for me that I wanted to visit after. Faultless service. I will definitely be back.

I went exclusively for the Afternoon Tea inside the hotel. I wasn't a guest. But they treated me very well. The servers are so kind and knowledgeable. The food is phenomenal. The tea was refreshing and so well made. The desserts were delicious as well. It was a bit expensive but if you're treating yourself, I would go.

Of course is what you expect from an old friend. It been there for years and entertained everyone from royalty to stars to a lad from Manchester. "Old money" style. Classic, warm and charming a great look at the past and present in opulence. Has the world's first elevator. 1893 I think... called the moving room. Charming. Location is great. Out the back entrance and your feet are wet in the Thames. Front door gets you on the busy strand... its like a magic trick. 10 out 10

My partner and I enjoyed a 3 night stay in December as part of my 70th birthday present from him. We stayed in a Deluxe King Room. The room was beautifully furnished & well appointed and all the staff were friendly & welcoming. The quality and choice at breakfast was excellent. The Savoy Hotel is very special and it feels as if you have stepped into another world. We loved our stay, we couldn't fault anything. We expected an superb stay but it went over and above our expectations. Thank you to the Savoy and all the staff. We can't wait to come back.

Had a wonderful experience and drinks flowed like a refreshing spring! Charlie, the bar man, knew his onions perfectly and twas a pleasure to listen to him give a good account of the American bar's history and even more exciting was his knowledge of the drinks/cocktails/whiskies being served. And the olives... yummy! The food was of exceptional quality and the experience was simply top-of-the-range.... as can be expected from the Savoy.

What can I say? In a single word - Faultless! But this hotel 🏨 deserves so much more. The concierge staff outside the entrance are cheerful, friendly and super efficient, taking your suitcase from you and delivering to your room, worry free. The reception area is calm and tranquillity itself. Daniella gave us a tour of everything and escorted us to our room. Super very comfortable bedroom and bathroom with every amenity you can possibly need. Whilst we popped out in the afternoon a member of staff left a little birthday πŸŽ‚ cake for Sally in our room ready for our return. Now that is what you call attention to detail! Breakfast is another understated event of perfection. Whilst ordering I briefly asked for lean bacon πŸ₯“ whilst Sally didn't, so she had 2 different bacon cuts, streaky and best smoked back, but I was served extra smoked back bacon rashers all trimmed of rind and fat. Poached eggs were perfection, as was the best Cumberland Sausage I have ever tasted. Wonderful! Fresh fruit, Freshly Squeezed Orange 🍊 Juice, and super smooth Coffee β˜• makes the whole experience impeccably faultless! πŸ‘Œ you really can see why The Savoy Hotel 🏨 is one of, if not the best hotel in the world! 🌎

What can you say about The Savoy? Superb establishment... I attended a private evening function and the service and food was impeccable... Three course meal was excellent - salmon starter, fabulous Beef Wellington main course and a delightful meringue dish to finish before ending with coffee and chocolates... All in all, wonderful experience and the staff were all delightful once again... nothing was too much!

We visited for a celebration afternoon tea for my wife's birthday. Excellent in all aspects - professional, friendly and efficient staff, served by a very nice waitress who's menu knowledge was excellent and she was always on hand without being intrusive. Quality and presentation of food and beverages excellent. On entry, was made to feel welcomed by the welcoming staff, nothing was too much trouble. For such quality, not over priced either. Not our first visit and certainly will not be our last!

Incredible from start to finish! I was staying with my friend for her 40th birthday. What an amazing surprise on checking in to be told we were upgraded to the Savoy Suite! What a treat! The staff cannot do enough for you, and the extra touches are so appreciated, including Kaspar the cat and some Yorkshire Tea! Our butler was fantastic, and the whole weekend was like a dream! No wonder they are one of the best hotels in the world. Outstanding!

My husband, 10mo old son, and I had an amazing afternoon tea here. We celebrated our anniversary here and it was well worth it! The staff were very attentive and were so sweet to our little boy. The attention to detail and ambiance at this place is unmatched! By far the best tea time we’ve experienced! Highly recommended!

The concierge here was AMAZING. They helped plan my entire week in London. The attention to detail is great. Overall the hotel puts a big emphasis on keeping the originality so some of the spaces can be a little small, starting with the elevators. If you like vintage London this place is for you!.

There for afternoon tea. A wonderful experience. I would highly recommend it. The atmosphere and ambience were wonderful. A pianist plays in the background. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. I have been to quite a few hotels offering afternoon tea and this would be rated amongst one of the best.

Had a late lunch here with two friends in their new Riverside restaurant. As you would expect service and food were first class. Menu was mainly fish but did have a couple of choices for the meat eaters. Superb wine and drinks menu. Only the best at the Savoy. Service was immaculate. Friendly and extremely professional. Next visit will be for afternoon tea! Can't wait to return.

For many years the Savoy has been a bit of a home away from for me. Although deeply saddened by the closing of Simpsons 'next door' my wife and I still 'pop in' to the Savoy Theatre now and then and I'm sure when the mood takes we will be only too happy to visit Mr Ramsey's establishment 'on the corner' and no doubt we will find out where the 'Beef Wellington Chefs ' went!

I am very lucky to have a work Christmas part here every year. It is a wonderful place. The look and feel is very special. The reception at Christmas is fantastic, they always put on a great show. The team who work there are very professional and courteous without being too over the top or stuffy. Rooms are nicely finished off and have all the amenities that you would expect.

What can I say...the afternoon tea was fabulous. Great experience, wonderful surroundings. Our waiter Jack was attentive. Only criticism is that initially only one of us wanted the champagne tea, but then another decided part way to have a glass too, however they were charged for the Tea plus a full price glass at Β£21. Well worth a visit!!

Popped in to see their festive display and the staff were so welcoming… although we were not guests we weren’t treated as though we were outsiders. Very polite staff and will be looking to book a room here to stay and treat myself.

Writing this update after being invited back by the Savoy for them to show that the experience of the previous visit was unusual. Have to say that this was leagues better. We had the Valentine's afternoon tea. The sandwiches were of a much much higher standard. They were more varied, and felt fresher made. The desserts were better too, shown by the fact we ate all but one! I have to say the staff were more attentive, engaging, and simply more professional. I hope that this wasn't from a bias to impress. I've changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars for this. It would never be 5 because of the previous experience, and because I'm hard to please. Previous review, because it's important to have context: Went for afternoon tea and wasn't that impressed. Putting aside the mix-up around the sandwiches, the vegetarian option just wasn't that great. There was a tofu-olive one (I think) that made my mouth dry. And the rest were unimaginative. The cakes were pretty poor, with only the fruit cake being any good. There are better afternoon teas, even for the atmosphere, elsewhere in London.

Returned today after a stay at the savoy hotel London The total experience was fabulous .From the moment we arrived to the moment we left was truly outstanding. Tony remembered us by name from our previous visit last year . After being shown to our suite the personal messages and cakes welcoming us were so special and appreciated. The little things mean so much . The suite was amazing every possible comfort you could wish for .I can not thank all the staff enough , I know they had full occupancy at the hotel but the service was exceptional . The food was superb , and nothing was too much trouble .Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to all the staff . Cant wait to visit again and be part of the Savoy family once again .

It's a long time since I have had afternoon tea and, this proved to be a great experience to re-live the pleasure of doing so. The festive afternoon tea was delicious and did not disappoint! The setting was breathtaking; the service was impeccable and the people who looked after us were welcoming, warm and professional throughout, right down to the cloakroom assistants. Nothing seemed too much trouble! Special thanks goes to Savanna and Naomi for making the occasion so special and taking care of us throughout.

What's not to like. Decadence at its best. But, so, so special. We had cocktails. Everyone should visit at least once in their life. Be prepared for the cost. This sort of opulence doesn't come cheap. But so worth it!!

It was a pleasure to stay at the historic Savoy hotel in London. The service was unbelievable and the rooms are in spectacular condition for the age of the hotel. Sharon was extremely welcoming and very helpful upon arrival. We had a small issue the first night and Elena the guest relations manager was quick to resolve the issue to our satisfaction. The Beef Wellington at the grill is worth travelling to London for. Breakfast's was also world class. Look forward to coming back again in the future.

Outstanding 7 course dining experience at the Chef's table today 😍 Food amazing & faultless! All courses superb! The main duck course, including garnish, was divine! 😍 The hardwork and dedication seen in the kitchen was admirable, especially that of the young Chef on Garnish (Tommy I believe his name was) ticket after ticket, checking each item dished. Our waiter, who was Head waiter George, was the best waiter we have ever had. So professional, welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for a memorable experience! All staff encountered welcoming, friendly and professional. Sadly my husband and I had to leave before desert etc due to childcare but the rest of our party remained and remarked all served after was outstanding - the best desert they have had! Head chef was lovely and gave us our deserts to take home. Can't wait to eat them! The hotel itself was stunning, with intricate decor and foliage 😍Thank you for a wonderful afternoon of dining we aim to return soon! Ps: your Sunday dinners looked amazing!

What a lovely place to have afternoon tea. The setting was wonderful with lots of character and history of The Savoy Hotel. The service was fantastic, the selection of teas were fabulous, there were so many to choose from. The staff were on hand for advice and help us choose the teas that suited our food. Some of us had a a glass of champagne which tasted fantastic. All the food was freshly made and tasted amazing. The sandwiches and cakes delicious. We came home stuffed with little packages to bring home as we couldn't finish all the cakes.

We stayed at the Savoy for 3 nights as a celebration for my Husband's milestone Birthday and I have to say, it was incredible! From the moment you step inside, you are made to feel so very special. Our room was fantastic! (King), it was immaculate and cleaned and freshened up twice daily. The breakfast was exceptional and the service beyond amazing! We ate at the Savoy Grill which was outstanding and we sampled the American Bar which was fabulous! Will we go back? Yes absolutely, I think it'll be a yearly adventure for us. Just amazing! Hats off the Staff at this hotel, they're all amazing and courteous at all times. They are a credit to the hotel.

I enjoyed the ambiance - the trees, the decor and how cute&neat everything was. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room had 2 patios where we got the best pictures from. Also, the beach is right outside the property where we got complimentary beach chairs and an umbrella where waiters came up to get our order. I am always seeking tropical vibes while on vacation and Savoy did just that! highly recommended.

We just went to the American Bar. The welcome at the entrance was outstanding and we were taken to our seats at the bar. The barman was friendly and knowledgeable, not over chatty and gave good service. We had two cocktails each and all tasted delicious and looked great in their individual glasses. Not overpriced and a good place to meet up. The only downside is the decor and atmosphere just lacks something. There is a better American Bar not far from here and it ticks all the boxes.

Off the charts fabulous. Cannot recommend highly enough. Tremendous food, great service and lovely details in the room - eg toys, books and bathrobes for the kids. These are the things that differentiate 5 star hotels. There was a mix up with our babysitter one night and Patrick on the front desk did everything he could to resolve it. And Sean and team just bring a lovely, welcoming personality to the ambience, engaging with our young daughters with such authenticity, they will remember it forever. Wonderful, you can’t stay anywhere else.

We went to savoy grill. The food was amazing. The staff were so helpful but be warned rd. Β£8.50 for 10 carrot slices and Β£23 for gin is very steep. Would recommend the food and experience but be warned there are hidden costs that you should be prepared for. Important question is would I go again My answer is 100% yes

I had an excellent afternoon tea! Everything was incredibly tasty and good quality. The service was impeccable. Of course it's high level from the point of view of price but definitely worth the unforgettable experience. The Thames foyer where the tea is served is amazing and was even more beautiful because of the Christmas decorations.

Absolutely gorgeous tea room! Beautiful interior. The sandwiches and cakes were delightful (although, we couldn't finish all the cakes, they did pack it up for us in a lovely little box and bag). Had the Jasmine tea... Amazing! And the tea room was just gorgeous with a live piano player too, just to make it more relaxed! Only thing that was wrong was we were assigned two new members of staff who were very slow (hence the 4 stars) otherwise perfect!

This hotel was overall very nice with great dining and food options at all times. However in a four person room there was only one washroom to share. The door also had no lock and made a very loud creaking noise when being closed or opened. For the price of the hotel it seems odd that only one washroom was provided.

Had a tremendous experience at the Savoy. It is a ridiculous amount of money to pay for a hotel, in my personal opinion, I do not think it is entirely worth it. The service, check-in, check out and general staff were all on hand to help with every need, but nothing that you wouldn’t get at other hotels. When you enter, it is absolutely heaving with people, even to the point that as a resident, it is quite tough to grab a drink in one of the bars due to the popularity. The rooms were extremely clean, well laid out, but some small issues were that the bath was tiny, the robe and the slippers provided were too small. Overall the rooms weren’t what I’d expect for the amount of money that you pay.

This was a lovely experience, courtesy of a friend that gave this to us as a wedding gift. The 1920s decor and surroundings were beautiful and the staff very friendly. We dined at the Savoy Grill - the lunch menu is limited but they were flexible and changed some of the ingredients. The menu changes regularly so it might be worth seeing what's on the menu before booking - I certainly will if I go again.

At Savoy theatre to see musical Pretty Woman which is based on the film. This has received mixed reviews, however we enjoyed the songs acting and storylines used. Kept many of the key moments of the film and original soundtrack was wonderfully sung. The audience were in the theatre for a Friday night of fun, songs and enjoyment, they were fairly raucous and lubricated but this added to the atmosphere and all who stayed were on their feet and singing along with the finale...Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison

We ate at the Savoy Grill where the environment was beautiful and the food was incredible (I can highly recommend the oysters) but what made it really special was the staff - they couldn't have been more attentive and friendly. After dining we retired to the cocktail bar which was stunning and again, the staff were fantastic. It is the perfect location for a special occasion.
