Not sure if I would visit again anymore due to owners journaled involvement with the European situation. Lunch set menu which only is £22. The service was spectacular with us being attended to a dozen times and ensuring our glass never dropped below half way. The food was 8/10 but the service sold me - thank you Francisca

Attended here with group of friends for a dinner date at Novikov for the Asian cuisine. We hit the minimum spend of £80 per person but service from manager was horrible at the end when we were paying the bill to which I have made a complaint. Would I recommend to others? Yes for food but no for the service. Would I revisit again? No due to service. I’ve complained via email but no response after multiple emails. Poor customer service and engagement for a luxury restaurant. Management needs to improve Quality of food was excellent and expensive but it’s a luxury restaurant in Mayfair so you get what you paid for. We ordered starters of calamari, prawns and dumplings. Mains consisted of sweet and sour chicken on the wok, Singapore noodles, duck and lamb cutlets with broccoli on side. Portion sizes small but left you feeling satisfied and not that feeling of where you over eat.

We have been to this amazing place a few times and have tried the lounge, the Italian and Asian restaurants. And all of them are amazing. There are fresh vegetables, pastas, and seafood in front of the kitchen and you can see the cooks. The calamari is one of the best I’ve had. They have a few dishes with truffle and all truffle dishes taste amazing. The service is also great. Staffs are super friendly and polite.

I appreciate the fine dining experience; the cuisine was truly delicious, and the atmosphere exuded elegance. However, I found it to be somewhat pricey in comparison to other similar fine dining establishments, and the service was a bit slow.

Food was exquisite, lovely atmosphere and fairly friendly staff. The wagyu tacos in particular were superb! Wish the staff were slightly more attentive to our needs, we were sat off to the side so it was slightly harder to get their attention. Overall, 4/5 stars

I had two vastly different experiences at Novikov, one at the Asian and one at the Italian. The Asian side was great all around, very good food, attentive service, etc. But my experience on the Italian side was totally different. While the food was fine, the service was terrible...practically non-existent. They screwed up my reservation, telling me to wait in the bar area while the table was finishing, and after 25 minutes without anyone checking back in with me, I went back to the hostess desk, and she told me my party was already seated. Well, I was a party of one and clearly hadn't been seated. Then the server had to flagged down for drink order and for food order after lengthy waits for both. I would be fine if there was even an ounce of apology, but it was as if they didn't care. Same thing happened for dessert, and no one ever checked in to see how food was the entire dinner. Shockingly terrible service for a place like this.

Went to Novikov for my friends birthday and overall, I would have to give the evening a 8/10. Decided to dine at the Asian side of the restaurant so we made a reservation in advance. Staff were friendly upon check-in and we were immediately seated at our table. They also serve halal food which are all highlighted on the menu! Our waiter was super nice, who instantly offered us a drink while we decided on the mains. He took his time to explain some of the dishes and engaged in friendly conversations with us. Made us feel extremely welcomed so service for the night was 10/10. Ordered chicken tacos and chicken dim sum for starters and lamb cutlets for the main course. All dishes were super tasty, honestly can’t complain about it but on the pricey side for sure so an 8/10. It was definitely packed out for the night so better to book in advance and the music might have been a bit too loud but nevertheless, a pleasant experience!

Lovely restaurant with great service. We dined at the Asian restaurant. The food was nice, but overall I would say that I’ve eaten similar dishes which tasted much nicer at my local East Asian restaurant. I don’t think the food matched the price point, except for the limited edition cigar dessert.

Dined in the Italian restaurant for a special birthday. Definitely not cheap and the tables were too close together but otherwise everything is perfect. Service was great, food delicious, portions generous. The candle in our desert and singing from the staff was a super nice touch too.

For me they have the best food and the best service (most of the time 😅) Tonight was a bit slow as we showed up on time but had to wait almost 20 minutes to be seated. But other than that I had an amazing time. And I understand how something’s places can be packed and pressuring for the staff, so that’s why I wont drop down to 4 stars. I highly recommend the Asian restaurant 🙏🏼

Dined in the Asian side of the restaurant - The restaurant decor is nice and has an intimate feel to it. The presentation of food ingredients is also nice seeing all the colours of seafood and vegetables. The staff are helpful and always wizzing around. The food was nice and the portion sizes are very much decent👍🏼 although the egg fried rice was not nice tasting. I would be interested to try the Italian side of the restaurant to see the taste of the dishes there are like.

Probably the best Japanese cuisine experience I've ever had. Food was exceptionally nice. Really enjoyed everything especially the sushi, mocktails, steak and desserts. Customer service was very good also, staff were very friendly and respectful. They are polite and check up on you regularly. Food is halal and meat quality is good, very delicious. The sushi tasted amazing, looked and tasted like a lot of effort was made to make these. Regarding price, it was quite pricey, our bill for 2 came out quite expensive. I'd definitely return for a special occasion only, but it is definitely worth it.

The food was very good especially the duck salad. We had a mixture of lots of different dishes which we shared before 4 of us. The king crab leg was very overpriced so wouldn’t bother with that again! The service was also very good. It’s not cheap and there is a minimum spend per person.

Easily accessible by road and rail. This review is for Novikov Asian. Allegedly they have a strict dress code but maybe this is only enforced in the evening, I went for a late lunch and although I dressed up, I saw many diners in dirty trainers and jeans. The staff at the door had a bit of attitude and were a bit brusque but the staff at the table were lovely. Cocktails were very nice, both virgin and alcoholic were well presented and beautifully balanced. The food is a triumph! Delicious fresh seafood, seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. The vegetable Singapore Noodles were the best I've ever had. The star of the show for me was the Piña Colada cheesecake, I'd go back for that alone, every element was glorious from the tiny cubes of Malibu coconut jelly to the tart, exotic, fruity centre which complimented the creamy cheesecake. The biscuit base was crunchy and harmonised with all the other textures on the plate. Yes it is a wee bit on the pricey side but well worth it.

On arriving it felt very busy even going through a turnstile door. We put our coats in the cloakroom and the guy here was so friendly, this really is where the experience ended. We were shown to our table and the only way of explaining the area is that it was a huge food hall with as many tables as they could fit. We may as well have been in Bluewater Shopping Centre food Hall. The waiter was friendly enough and we ordered drinks and food and everything arrived quickly which was great. I know it can't be helped but 4 gangster looking guys all in casual sports wear were seated on the table next to us. They were all around 18 years old and just sat there tapping away on their mobiles and not even talking to each other. It clearly says what the dress code is at the time of booking and the staff should be more vigilant. The food was amazing but the whole experience of being there was just ruined by overcrowding . I can't even remember if there was music. I just know I will not be going back. I would rather spend the same money and go to a 5 star hotel and use their restaurant as the service would be more personable and the food just as good. I may just go back to the cloakroom and see the guy there again, he was such a character. This place needs to try harder in making sure the overall experience is superb.

Lovely restaurant to visit, both the Asian and Italian in Mayfair London. My favourite is the Italian with excellent service and the food is always taste great, well prepared and cooked. The Asian second as the taste of the dishes changes sometimes. Highly recommend both the Novikov Asian and Italian for a late night dinner or for a lunch.

They had a display of all the vegetables and fish; the colours were amazing. The restaurant is beautiful inside - there are trees in big plant pots, sky lights and candle chandeliers. Getting the set lunch menu meant it was really quiet when we went - I believe it gets quite busy in the evenings. Also Drake was dining in the private dining room next to us! I would’ve given this place 5/5 for the food but when the service is so bad you just can’t seem to enjoy the food. The ladies at the entrance were very sweet and showed us to the table. Our first server was nice who helped us with the first these dishes however when it was time for us to order the main dishes the server changed and it was this huge Italian guy who was being very rude from cleaning the table rudely to taking away the menu without asking us. I’d prefer eating at a kebab shop with a humble server for 200 pounds than to be served by such men. Pathetic.

Novikov is one of the well known fine dining Russian restaurants in London .. where all famous people meet together, The restaurant has two sections: The Asian section is kind of a dark place that serve noodles or sushi but and a lot of people prefer it over the other section. The Italian section is well lighted and decorated.. we had our dinner here started by the restaurant appetizer with some locally baked bread served with something similar like aubergine sauce and we ordered the truffle pizza and was delicious with a crab pasta but it’s looked like Tuna Pasta Also for drinks they have a variety of fresh juices alongside with soft drinks and we ordered a fresh pineapple 🍍 juice and it has a refreshing taste 🤤

It is a luxurious restaurant divided into two dining rooms. The Asian side cooking and the Italian side cooking. I had dinner in the Italian side and I enjoyed all the courses very much. It's like being in a restaurant in Rome or Milan. All the products are fresh, "Italian" and delicious. All the staff are very professional. It's necessary to go elegantly dressed, because you risk not entering. Prices are high but in the heart of London the reverse is impossible...

Amazing place to dine, nice location, and beautifully decorated. The live roses on each table uplifting and make you feel soecial :-) , .......but a bit too noisy and busy ..very difficult to talk to people around the table . We went for Italian menus.... very well presented. Would definitely recommend

If anyone is telling you Novikov is the best Asian cuisine they’ve had - they’re trying to mask the pain with the price they paid! Unfortunately I took a video of the majority of the food so I don’t have many pics. Wagyu tacos - awful Prawn tempura + avocado sushi- very nice Chicken (with black bean sauce) - average Egg fried rice - very average The vibes are nice, the settings are nice, but the food was painful. The sushi was fantastic, the rest was poor.

One of the most amazing dinners I have had in London so far. Chef Luca is exceptional, combination of flavours make you dream, freshness of ingredients is notable in every dish. Professional and attentive service, vibrant atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back and also trying Italian side of the venue!

3 people for dinner on a Monday night at > £300 pp, you expect stellar service (esp as about 2/3 occupancy), and stellar food. Service was average at best although arrogant at times. It was fast though, and sommelier was very good and knowledgeable . Some of the food was well above average, some absolutely average. This place now certainly running on the fumes of its past, and having eaten here many times before with much superior service end food I can only assume an inferior change of management or new poor leadership from a novice floor manager… Shame

They are generous and filling, couldn't be more happier! open kitchen with fresh ingredients 🦞 what more could you ask? As I left novikov one of the staff that work the door insulted me. I've never felt so disrespected somewhere where I've paid good money to be at. Disgusting behaviour from the staff they have 0 respect. Do not go if you dont want to be treated like garbage. Then one of the staff had the audacity to start recording me when I was making a complaint. Horrible people!!!

Fantastic food, exceptional quality and excellent presentation. There's a good amount of variety in the menu too. The only thing that was a let down was the service - it just wasn't up to standard on the level of personal service you expect from restaurants at this level, when you're paying this much.

To be honest I had mixed emotions about this restaurant which I visited this week. The food was ok I’d definitely recommend trying the sushis here and the small plate tacos are delicious! However, the service was below average; don’t get me wrong the food came very quick and was all hot but there was no sense of privacy on a Tuesday night there were two couples basically arm to arm with us on the tables beside so as the website stated ‘tables will be separated due to covid’ did not mean a thing. The waitresses themselves were very blunt and maybe we just went on the wrong day but It was a nice experience I’d just never go again.

I went to Novikov for my birthday. It is a luxurious restaurant which divided into two dining rooms, the Asian side and the Italian side. I went to the Asian side. Food was ok, nothing special, portions were pretty small. Quite a few dishes were halal. The service was amazing, especially the attention to detail. Our waiter ‘Lorenzo’ was fabulous, his service was amazing (his singing skills pretty good as well). I would definitely recommend Novikov but be prepared to pay the price.

Really good customer service, food amazing, menu a little confusing. Definitely worth going. However when trying to book the reservation the staff are not friendly or helpful one lady was actually rude. But once I actually arrived I had the best experience.

I was greeted and shown to our table quickly when we entered the restaurant. There was a nice vibe in there. The waiters were pleasant and knew the menu well. We ordered and didn't have to wait long to be served. The quality and presentation was fantastic. The food tasted great and we really enjoyed our meal. The only criticism would be that it was a little overpriced even if it is Mayfair. However, I would return.

It’s not that special… we went Novikov on Thursday at 8pm and the vibe was good. Our server was super friendly and the service was fast, as well as the starters and even main! We had the chicken tacos which I loved! The prawn money bags were 50/50, I just didn’t like the texture but the spice and flavour was perfect. We also got the California roll which was horrible…! He enjoyed his lamb chops, and I didn’t really enjoy the duck salad. The cocktail zombie was quite nice and strong. Overall the experience was nice, however I wouldn’t go back and I don’t think it’s worth it for me personally. It was also upsetting to see those live crabs in those small tanks outside.

Went for the Italian lunch. Rather nice interior. The food was nothing special but portions were rather large. The staff were rather attentive to adapting to our needs.

The service was amazing; the staff were attentive and helpful, recommending dishes, they were knowledgeable about the menu. Take their advice! The menu itself was long and complicated, a mish mash of Asian food - some dishes stood out, and others felt over seasoned or too elaborate and contrived. The wagu beef was expensive but not memorable, juicy but lacking in flavour. It was a swing and a miss. The king crab claws natural flavour was barely perceptible under the wasabi cream and almost thermidore like topping. With something so delicate, a light hand is required and this was a slap. I enjoyed the King crab sushi with caviar - my first and favourite dish. It promised so much... yet the meal fizzled and failed to impress in the main. Other stars were undoubtedly the spicy edamame, prawn spring rolls and tofu rolls with a delicious crispy finish. The duck and pancakes were unusual - a very fine crispy skin perfectly flat (like a science experiment), with the cold duck meat finely sliced beneath it. I wanted to love it (and understand people do) but it was technically proficient rather than tasty which sadly misses the point. It was a good meal and an enjoyable evening but I wasn't wowed and I wanted to be for the price! It was technically brilliant not delicious! I think they need to work on their kerbside experience - large bouncers guard the door, blocking the path somewhat and giving the impression that a bunch of undesirables were beyond the revolving door! Coat check took longer than expected and the needless hanging around at the desk - whilst staff whizzed past with trays of food and drink - felt disorganised. This needs to be reconsidered. I have no idea why they sell produce in the Asian restaurant? Quirky but as its also along the main thoroughfare of the Asian side of the restaurant, people rush by and accidents will undoubtedly happen... I saw two near misses.

This restaurant has earned the title of my ultimate favourite. Honestly, I understand why it's considered a success story. Every aspect, from the warm greetings at the entrance to the fond farewells, contributed to a flawless experience. The quality of the Asian cuisine stands out as the best, complemented by delicious desserts. Management of this restaurant needs to be given awards ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

NOVIKOV ITALIAN 15/12/20 Made reservation in advance and was shown to our table quickly with a smile and greetings from most of the staff. Glamorous setting with flowers on the table for show which were quickly removed as we sat down (4 people). Already looked at the menu before hand and was very happy with the brushetta anti pasti which. Crunchy bread and fresh tomatoes our table servant was kind and swift. Making good wine recommendations.Lovely cocktail also on recommendation. Was also very happy with our ribeye steak which came out medium rare and complimented nicely with the delicious caramelized onions. Moving on to i might have to say one of the best desserts I have had the Profiterolls were a delicious mix of the crunchy nut on the side with 3 relaxed soft textured filled profiterolls ONE TO TRY! amazing. Coming on to our coffees I heard our sommelier talking to our it must have been the floor manager that we had been there for a long time and that we should start moving a long quicker. Had to say something but did not get an apology. It was a busy night but when your spending more than half a grand on 4 people i think we should be allowed to take our time, Another thing with the service was I did not feel as if I was eating at the restaurant walking through to go to the bathroom. The table servers would walk past infront of you not say anything and generally did not get the curtesy that one would expect. Lovely food overall but i felt It was not so much of a boutique style restaurant but more of a "new money" glitzy show off restaurant. Still something special with some letdowns.

The atmosphere is glitzy and epitomises London Mayfair. Thursday nights are the best. Don't go there to save a penny. Noisy, glamorous and fun. Service is efficient and fast. Do not expect a warm service though.

Came a few years ago and had a faultless meal. However, the portions have got smaller and the taste was quite bland on our mains. Also, the chicken in blackbean sauce has changed which was a favourite last time and no longer tastes like a chicken and blackbean sauce should. They also coat the chicken for it in a batter and it totally ruins the dish. I would only come back for the smaller plates and dim sum. Was also shocked that thay can charge £45 for a beef stir fry and the portion was pathetic. It's shocking.

It’s a nice restaurant and some dish were lovely such as their range of sushi. However, the chicken and black bean sauce just tasted standard. The seating in the restaurant seems a bit cramped. The cocktails were nothing special for the price they charge them at. Service was good.

This is why I used to come to Novikov... you had a wide range of vegetarian options and the most amazing dumpling I had ever tasted. You've removed most vegetarian options from your menu leaving me with just fried vegetables, simple sushi and Singapore noodles to eat. I'm genuinely sad..

Very nice place, me and my husband went to the Italian side and we loved everything! The orange juice 😍 the food and the malibu cheesecake was to die for! The staff were really nice especially the Italian gentleman! Overall we will definitely come back!

The team were very welcoming and cognisant that we had a child The ambience was very warm and classy, yet had a vibe to it. The transparent kitchen and seafoods bar on display gave it an exotic Asian vibe We ordered the chicken steamed buns, rich shrimp tempura and spicy tuna sushi rolls to begin with. The buns were light and well seasoned inside, tempura as crisp as glass, the sushi was average and tuna could have been tad more spicy. The mains we had wagyu sirloin and sweeter and sour chicken. The main event, the Wagyu had to be returned as it was cold. The replacement was just slightly warm but at that point we just wanted to eat. The sides became lukewarm waiting for the Wagyu. This was very disappointing and I hope the manager takes this on board. The chicken and egg fried rice was surprisingly good and moreish The total bill came to £254. Was it worth it? Perhaps not, seeing as £95 dish was underwhelming and had to be sent back. Overall 7/10

Expensive, but worth the money. Food was exceptionally tasty & the staff went above and beyond to ensure out birthday outing was celebrated properly. We dined in the Italian restaurant and boy did it feel like Italy! Thank you to Mircas, our server, who made the stay a delight.

Very good experience, visited here my first time and was impressed, only dropped a star as service was a bit longer than usual, would recommend and return when in the area again.

All the dishes tasted fantastic. We’ll season and good portion especially when eating late. The hosts were quirky and made us feel very comfortable! The truffle chips were absolutely amazing! We had so much fun!

Now, where do I start, absolutely wonderful experience dining at Novikov. The restaurant has an Italian themed area, Pan Asian and Bar/lounge. We opted for the Italian and were immediately greeted by the hostess who kindly showed us to the table. They are very meticulous on ensuring complete satisfaction from taking coats and answering questions going above and beyond. What’s also v.important to note, there are a large variety of dishes that are HALAL and clearly marked in the menu, the waiters are happy to reconfirm with the kitchen. I tried the Salmon Tartare, risotto, corn fed chicken and panne cotta for dessert, could not fault any of the dishes other than asking if the portions could have been a little larger. It’s not entirely cheap to be put it nicely and perhaps-reserved to special occasions only. Will next time try the Asian style theme!

During lockdown they were operating a take away service. I place my order and when it came to payment they still charged me for service!? What service exactly? It was about. £15 service charge which I will be asking to be refunded. Major crooks!
