This was a waste of time and money and I do not recommend The London Clinic. I had an initial consultation for £300 where I was asked to get some previous test results so we could arrange the correct tests. I provided the previous test results and despite chasing them up several times about arranging the following tests nobody ever got back in touch with me. They took my money for an initial consultation then stopped helping me even though I'm trying to pay for more services. Such an odd way to conduct business.

Easily the worst clinic I have had to deal with. Their admin is absolutely terrible and for a hospital that’s on the high side, this should not be the case. My family member had a procedure done at this clinic and the process has been so tedious from the start to finish. To start off with, they have poor communication between their departments. My dad missed his pre-op call twice because they couldn’t get his contact number right. Additionally, because of their poor communication between each other, there has not been transparency with the financial side of things. We were told that we had been overcharged for a procedure and a refund would take place if they did not use the required materials. Fast forward after surgery, despite materials not being used, they are beating around the bush with regards to justifying the amount that was paid in. I also had an issue with the pharmacy where we paid for medication, they told me to come back and collect it afterwards but by the time the medication was ready, my dad had been taken off the prescription. After I told them this, they said they will credit the amount to the file on record and I can request a refund. Now, a week later, they claim that the amount on my account is £0 and acting completely confused. If you are using this hospital, and not paying through insurance, make sure you ask for every amount to be accounted for and stay on it with chasing them up. The financial side aside, I will most definitely say I have had a better experience at private wards at government hospitals. Even down to the experience with staff. It feels more like a corporate body as opposed to a hospital that’s there to care for patients. Incredibly fast paced to ensure higher profit margins…If you have an alternative to the London Clinic, you should take that up.

I am under the care of two consultants one neuro surgeon one pain consultant and both of these men, are the best at what they do. True professionalism with a duty of care for the outcome of treatment that goes well beyond other hospitals. The nursing team. Latest being on level 2 at 22 Devonshire Place were the best team I have ever had looking after me. They went beyond any expectations to ensure your comfort and care. I was there for 3 days for my latest treatment and I cannot fathom how this hospital does not have 5 star reviews all the way. To give credit and I hope they don't mind but Maria, Romy, Lisa, Janet and the rest of the team you are a shining example to your profession. I have been in many hospitals in the last 8 years and have had many nurses and by far The London Clinic outshone any of these other hospitals by a long shot in every aspect of their care. If you are considering treatment at this hospital I would have no hesitation in recommending. The staff were a testament to the hospital and you would feel safe under their care and knowledgeable you were receiving the best care.

I had major surgery at the London Clinic and I cannot rate my consultant and the nursing team high enough. My initial stay was only planned for 2 nights but due to complications I had to remain at the hospital 6 days 5 nights. As much as I wanted to go home and start my recovery Tameka, Tanya and Lucida the senior nurses took such good care of me the care was fantastic, they are a big credit to the team. The Health Care Assistant's were also fantastic, caring, friendly, polite - everything you need to start recovering from major surgery. The only draw back for me was my wife stayed at the same hospital in 2021 and the food and food service was much better than my stay, this has taken a step back. Overall I would highly recommend London Clinic for any surgery as the medical team there are the best.

I’ve been to The London Clinic a few times over the last three years and usually the service is good with friendly, professional medical staff. However I agree that their administration is lacking which has been very frustrating for me this year. I’ve recently had an allergy consultation for an IgE blood test, but the results have been pending for four weeks now and no update from the clinic whatsoever which is negligent when patients desperately need insights. Even the NHS would be faster. I then directly called the Pathology a week ago to ask for a status update but they wouldn’t even tell me whether or not my results are available even though I’m the patient. Unsurprisingly their back office has already charged my insurer for the whole test weeks ago.

I had a bad experience overall. Not a 1 star. But below average so I think 2 is fair, as I met some nice nurses and health care staff. My issue is with management mainly and not the staff. I had knee keyhole surgery. Reasons: - No email communication before or after appointments AND (honestly) surgery - I didn’t see the surgeon after surgery. So I didn’t know why they found with my keyhole surgery and what they did. - I didn’t know what to do post operation. A nurse spoke to be informally about what I might be able to do while I was just out of surgery (quite high on opioids and sleepy from the anaesthetic) - There seems to be such a communication divide between all of the departments. - I strongly recommend investing in a good IT automated system. For the benefit of staff and patients. This should be a standard these days. Ps. I do hope I haven’t damaged my knee post surgery. Thank God for YouTube and Google - my post operation care.

I wanted to give zero star but have select one star otherwise it wouldn’t allow me submit my review Absolutely disappointed. I had an appointment with one of the doctor and provided me a form to book an MRI scan. I went to the MRI scan department and handed over the form to the receptionist. The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. Didn’t even greet or asked why I’m here. I had to approach her and ask for help. When I handed over the form, she just took it and said someone will call that afternoon to book the appointment. It’s been a month now and still didn’t get the call for booking. Today I called them what is happening and the advisor on the phone is he cannot find any information or the form on the system and asked me to get another copy……

I usually prefer to write positive reviews, but sadly, that's not the case with the London Clinic. I went for an MRI (via Med Neo) on the 1st of February. It's 10 February, and I still have no results. They have also not reached out to me to tell me what is the reason that it's taking them so long. I'm completely clueless! So, I called the clinic on Thursday, 8 February. The lady on the phone told me they would try to send the results to my GP by the end of the day. They didn't, and I also didn't hear from them ever since. Furthermore, my appointment on the 1st of February was at 16:30. Only almost 2 hours later, the MRI actually took place. They did send an email beforehand (one hour), saying that their clinic was running behind for half an hour. In reality, it was much longer and very inconvenient for my work, as I had to take more time off. Never thought I would get ripped off by a medical clinic.. If you want fast and professional service by a private clinic, don't go here. PS: The girls at the desk were very nice, though.

Avoid their GP services at all costs. I needed an emergency GP at the weekend in December. I was told I wouldn't be charged the fee until the doctor had attended but that wasn't the case and my card was immediately charged £150. They could not find me a doctor so the whole thing was a complete waste of time. I have requested a refund on multiple occasions and never had a reply to my emails and obviously no refund... very frustrating when you trust companies like this when you need medical attention. Avoid.

The number that admissions team call you from does not accept calls. I've spent 1 hour trying to reschedule my radiology appointment over the past two days. I kept getting getting passed around one switchboard to the next, given the wrong telephone number, etc. The receptionists for other admissions departments, instead of being helpful are quite rude. I've been transfered several times in a row by switchboard operators without letting me finish my sentence - only then to be told I've come through to the wrong department - again and again. Absolute shambles. Read the reviews below. Avoid and go elsewhere.

Excellent medical service. From the entrance to the exit. The medical, nursing, assistants and technicians are very professional and ethical when performing the breast ultrasound and mammography. They explain to the patient what they are doing, which makes the patient feel confident and stress-free. I would recommend this place to perform this type of exam that every woman should always do. Thank you so much!!!

As an inpatient I had honestly some of the best physios I’ve ever had. Sadly I have suffered historically with poor quality physio however not the London clinic team, post surgery as an inpatient Helen and James got me up on my feet and re-assured in myself faster than I expected! They set me up in the best possible way and truly invested their time in my care! Cannot rate them highly enough so much so I’m continuing my treatment now post surgery with their outpatient team rather than any other team. I’m looking forward to the recovery.

Had a brain MRI with the hospital same day appointment. Online they advertise cutting edge technology and that they care about patient experiences, be aware, I can testify that they do not. The cost for an old MRI scanner was 4 times higher than what a regional private hospital is offering for the a more advanced scan of higher resolution. They will book you in, take a payment and send you round before you know what's happening. My experience was then to have an older MRI scanner that caused legitimately painful deep vibrations as some sequences occurred, while not being properly checked on between sequences. I have had other brain MRi's at another private hospital and an NHS hospital, they were not painful like this and did not have such intense vibrations that felt like the brain was being rattled in a horrible way. I became worried it was going to cause an injury it was that intense. The scan was almost continuous and did not stop to ask me if I was okay between sequences. On top of it all I had room spinning vertigo the night after the scan, not a symptom I have suffered previously. It has left me anxious about the experience and even questioning the accuracy of the scan. Even the experience of the hospital was poor, the department smelling of vomit as I walked down towards the MRI reception past what I think were endoscopy rooms. Just an all round bad experience and wouldn't advise anybody to go to the hospital. I decided to get a second opinion elsewhere straight afterwards because of the experience and if it could have been harmful to my head. Additionally, due to not having confidence in the images taken and also because a lower quality scan was used for a high resolution purpose. Of course, this is all extra cost to me too. I have approached the London Clinic for a refund of my original scan cost as I have no use of the images, I was mis-lead, I experienced unnecessary pain and left disappointed and anxious. Their response has been to just repeat my complaint to me and offer to resolve absolutely nothing. I will be taking it further. So for those reading, take away the following message, avoid this hospital as they offer second rate services at daylight robbery prices. If you then raise a complaint it has to be sent by post like it is still the 20th century, you will later receive a reply that offers no resolution other than sorry no refunds. The hospital is ran as a strict business with patient experience not at the forefront of anything they do. There are plenty of alternative hospitals in London and the wider UK, I can vouch that this is the worst hospital out of 5 hospitals I have attended in my life. This review is intended to help patients make an informed decision based on my own personal patient experience, nothing more.

Such a disappointing experience for my daughter. Heartless Anesthetist asked my daughter about payment for his services minutes before her anesthetic, followed by post recovery care from a rude bank nurse who told my daughter she couldn't possibly be in severe pain, among other things. The other nurses were excellent. We had such high expectations of good quality care and kind staff, but there is no consistency. Our feedback (received by the hospital 28/03) has still not been responded to by Johannes, 3 months and waiting...So disappointing.

The clinic has no online services and bookings are extremely difficult to do. All the work is done with telephones and paper mail and it takes a lot of time. The different units of the clinic are not doing any cooperation and they are delegating that to the customer. The (paying) customer should run along to Devonshire place anD visit plenty of different receptions to get any treatment or service. If you are in pain, please visit more modern clinic.

I have seen people right this before but I really wish I could give ‘no stars’. I cant tell you how awful my experience was with the London Clinic/ Mr watts. I went in for an allergy consultation and a skinprick test. The hospital charged my insurance company £1,500 for use of equipment for my skinprick and blood test with zero transparency. I immediately noticed that fee was too high and spent the next 3 weeks trying to get somebody to listen. One man I spoke to in finance could not have been less helpful or more rude. He had no view of their treatment prices and simply stated that this was the costs they had ‘decided to charge’. For three weeks they dismissed my questions about the pricing and refused to review. They even started screening my calls. After weeks of attempting every avenue available to me, somebody finally bothered to review my invoice. Sure enough, I was correct and they had overcharged me (considerably). The whole experience was infuriating and painful and the detail above is a fraction of the back and forth that took place. There are hidden costs with zero transparency and nobody at the Watts clinic could provide any insight into why the London Clinic was charging such an inflated amount. I will never be using this hospital again and I urge you to avoid at all costs. Complete crooks

Worst experience at Hemeatalogy clinic . John Gribben is negligent. Radiologists, pathologists at this clinic are terrible. Reports can not be trusted. There should be investigation conducted how this private hospital continues to make severe life threatening condition be missed at all levels. Most of the consultants i have seen at London clinic are terrible . It is best to avoid London Clinic if you value your life. I will have all my pathalogy and radiolgy reviewed at top cancer hospital like Mayo or John Hopkins.

Expensive and inefficient clinic. Imagining department is not helpful, as well as the overall staff. Doesn’t worth the money spent. Feels like a public hospital. For the size of the bill, you are better off somewhere else. There are much better clinics/private hospitals around Marybone. Avoid this clinic - you do a favour for yourself.

£250 for a video consultation? I understand the practitioners here must be very well experienced and of premium level, which is the exact reason I approached this clinic, for premium service. However £250 to get in the door? Some places simply have no common sense.

I was treated at London Haematology at the London Clinic. If one has to go through a rough period with their health, the London Clinic is the place you'd want to be. The staff is caring and both I and other patients I spoke to there feel that this Clinic makes the patients feel special and looked after. It also benefits from a number of high caliber doctors such as Prof John Gribben & others. Thank you for providing excellent healthcare!

Absolutely a joke to say the least as arranging appointments through them was time consuming and also unprofessional as had to chase numerous time and deluge the consultant advising and agreeing with me what scans were required and the had to chase for my appointment to be booked and advise his secretary what scans we need to do. Had to chase for results more than 4 times and then was told to accommodate the consultant by moving my appointment a day earlier which I did and loved my arrangements around and then I received no call and no contact from them. Originally al appointment was the day after so assumed maybe I would get the call then but to no surprise nothing. Have chased again for a copy of my results and no contact by the consultant Mr Manish Chand whatsoever which is unprofessional to say the least. The concern comes, if they cannot get the basics right why would anyone want that person to operate on them. Total joke

on 23 August I came for a consultation for a pain in my right hand that had lasted for over a month. my GP treated me with hypobrufen which gave no results. to have a request to do an ultrasound I signed up to the oneline doctor who paid almost 50 pounds to be told to go to the rheumatologist. having already lost days of work and knowing that my GP fired me with hypobrufen I opted for a private consultation at this clinic. The specialist prescribed Voltarol and a brace bought at the pharmacy for me and did not prescribe any ultrasound. I followed her instructions without getting any improvement. Staying at home has given me the stress and depression that I face every day of my life. the pain did not diminish and neither did the discomfort. I had to run to the emergency room where for the development of the inflammation they prescribed me 30 mg per day of cortisone and anti-inflammatory suppositories for 5 days and gave me an appropriate brace without spending a cent. I work and pay my taxes. That said, I find it really shameful and foolish to take such sums to have a voltarol that I have been using for weeks already. Really disgusted.

Save your money and go somewhere else The London Clinic are worse then the NHS. The reception staff are miserable and the majority of the nursing staff are incompetent and uncaring. Some of the worst bunch of nurses I have come across, including the Sister, they don’t know what they are doing or have any basic nursing skills. They make mistakes, which is the last thing you want from a nurse that’s supposed to be looking after you and they don’t seem to understand the meaning of care. Whoever is in charge of the incompetent nursing staff needs to do much better. Urgent basic training is needed. You can even hear them gossipping about patients from outside your room. The nurses are more interested in gossiping about their patients then actually helping them, they are totally unprofessional. The catering staff are friendly enough, probably more helpful then the nursing staff. The food is average, it looks good but tastes bland. The whole company are extremely unorganised with no compassion. There main priority is money and not the safety and well-being of the patient. The costs are not upfront. They quote you one price then add all these extra charges on. Not worth the money. You don’t get what you pay for. Don’t expect luxury it is below average. If you can get your treatment from somewhere else then do that as you will regret getting it here.

The worst experience you can possibly imagine. Piss poor service, and then send you chaser letters 2 years after you appointment for an administration fee you have already paid, threaten to pass onto a debt collector yet fail to respond to emails and or phone calls.

When I first contacted the London Clinic to book an ENT consultant, they made it very clear over the phone, that the consultation would cost around £250.00, but they never mentioned the clinic's own fee of £159.00, or any other hidden fee. Therefore I was very surprised when I found myself paying the clinic and the consultant a total amount of £534.00, that was more than double what was initially quoted. When I called back the Clinic for explanations they passed me on to 5 different departments, before I managed to get hold of someone that very kindly spelt out what the issue was. My personal experience with this clinic was hell. I'm not impressed with the structure and it's lack of communication with patients.

Overall, I received wonderful care at the London Clinic, from the surgical and nursing teams to the physios and the supporting staff. I felt very well looked after post surgery and was treated with respect and kindness. Thanks to my physio, Sara Gacu, I regained full mobility in my arm very quickly. The reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars was because it took too long to get my pain level under control in recovery, due to the unavailability of an anaesthetist to approve an increased dose of morphine. After this initial issue however, the care I received was excellent, including follow up by the nursing team when I returned home. Big thanks in particular, to my surgeon Mr. Rubin, who has done an fantastic job - am very happy with the result he has achieved. And finally, to Cecil, for all his hard work behind the scenes to make things happen.

I can not have hoped for better Physio! She treats me with respect, always has smile and brings great energy and vibe so it makes the session better. I am very happy with the progress and that we are on track to get me recovered in time for summer. Really recommend it for anyone wanting treatment especially from Fiona or the other employees. An amazing place where you feel really cared for . I was seen by Dr Dan Plev and the senior nurse Amanda Davison just after Christmas. . Amanda went out of her way to assist me to reassure me as my initial consultant was away. In no time I was arranged next day MRI and a consultation with Mr Plev despite half the hospital was closed during the holidays . Mr Plev was great , he went in length explaining absolutely everything I needed to know , he even gave me specific exercises program You guys were great . Thank you !

Shockingly poor service. Despite the obvious disarray when booking a skinprick test, we went forward with it as the doctor is apparently very good. In the end we were twice mis-informed about the costs, so it cost £300 more than we expected. Then we were further overcharged by more than £100, which they have now passed to debt collectors. I strongly advise everyone to use another provider.

Excellent from start to finish, on all matters! I had a surgery at this hospital and spent 2 nights on the 5th floor ward - the service was impeccable and the doctors and nurses were fantastic, attentive, caring, trustworthy! They explained everything to me, at every step of the journey, listened to my preferences as well. Special mention to nurses Martina, Charity, Lucia, Sara, Michael, Dennis and Cherize who got me through the first night after the operation (the hardest night) and took care of me in the most professional, kind and reassuring way! The food was amazing too, diverse menu and tasty options (the lobster bisque was excellent)! The staff and facilities at The London Clinic made my whole experience smooth - the pharmacist and physiotherapist were also on the ward and the nurses were the best I could ever wish for! I wholeheartedly recommend this hospital! (everything was covered by my insurance and admin was sorted out quickly)

Great clinic with fantastic consultants. Would HIGHLY recommend Mr Deepu Sethi. By far the nicest, most patient and knowledgable doctor I’ve ever came across. Astoundingly poor experience - avoid. Nobody deserves to be treated this way when they are sick, or indeed at any other time. Due to have surgery on Monday morning, only to get a call from The London Clinic late afternoon on the preceding Friday inaccurately claiming my insurer had declined to cover the procedure entirely and requesting a deposit of £4,000. After realising their error the hospital then backtracked and said I “only” owe £1,000 for a private prescription… actually… £2,000… to be paid before admission in 48h. I am truly speechless it’s considered acceptable to demand spurious and exorbitant additional fees at such a late stage with absolutely no breakdown of the charges provided to me or my consultant. I now have no idea whether my procedure will go ahead, and naturally there is nobody at the hospital either me or my consultant can speak with until… oh yes, Monday. Despite previously having positive experiences with nursing staff during other procedures, I would advise avoiding this place at all costs. Go to a different hospital.

The catering service was exceptional. Thank you.

Appalling. The doctor I initially saw was fantastic but since the first appointment, the administration has been so poor. Rude staff on the phones, no appointments unless you a £300 call out fee, despite the referring doctor saying the appointment was 'urgent'. I would advise not wasting your money on this clinic.

I arrived for my first consultation with Mr Waterhouse for my lower face lift surgery. Mr Waterhouse explained everything about the procedure in great detail and answered all my questions. Mr Waterhouse made me feel very safe in his hands and I felt very happy to proceed with my surgery with no fear ,needless to say I am delighted with my results and had my post op this week and could not thank Mr Waterhouse enough for his kindness and for his expertise and incredible skill. I also must not forget to mention his wonderful secretary Karen Burns who was always so helpful. I went in to the clinic for my procedure on the 4th October and I must congratulate you on your wonderful team at the clinic , who were so kind, caring and professional. Just a great experience. Thank you Ms Mawhinney

Very long resolution time for basic consultation. Initial consultation was mid November, heard nothing about follow up tests until I kept chasing until end of December. I had diagnostic tests done first week of January (the experience itself was positive) — I’ve been chasing for results and follow-up consultation but still nothing a month and a half later.

I would like to thank the exceptional care received by the nursing and admin staff at the london clinic. My uncle was a inpatient at a NHS hospital for over a week after a fall, with surgery required. After the appalling level of care and lack of decision making from the nurses and consultants in the NHS hospital we decided to go private and was recommended The London Clinic and orthopaedic consultant Professor Heidari. Prof and his team swiftly arranged a consultation and admission to The London Clinic. The high level of care from the day of admission to the day of discharge was impressive. We would like to thank the physio’s and nurses who took care of my uncle during his 10 day stay. Professor Heidari understood my uncle’s problems and pain during his stay and the treatment received pre op and post op was outstanding. We would highly recommend The London Clinic and Professor Heidari.

Following a bike accident, I had to have a full hip replacement. Mr Paul Culpan was the excellent consultant who operated me. Because of the coronavirus situation, face to face physio was not an option but I was offered video sessions with Caroline Jones. Initially, I was not sure how useful they were going to be but was pleasantly surprised. Caroline really helped me progress very quickly by setting up a series of exercises which were emailed to me after every session. I am very grateful for Caroline's help and can't recommend her highly enough.

I had hip surgery at the London Clinic 6 months ago under Mr Bankes, followed by an initial course of hydrotherapy then ongoing physiotherapy since. All of my treatment as both an inpatient and outpatient has been excellent, and my recovery has been as smooth as can be expected as a result. As someone who did a lot of exercise previously, I am particularly grateful to Danny in the physio department who has been great during the recovery period. He has been very professional and thorough throughout, and listened to my concerns, so has geared my recovery back to an appropriate level of fitness. I would highly recommend the London Clinic, and especially the physio department.

I had an operation to remove kidney stones and, as a paraplegic, I was not looking forward to the experience. However all staff, from the lovely young man who cleaned the room spotlessly, the very kind nursing assistants, super experienced nursing staff and the amazing Mr Jonathan Glass, my surgeon, it was a very pleasant experience indeed all told! So friendly, empathetic, professional but always taking time to reassure, I can’t wait to get my second kidney sorted! The room was really wonderful, almost like a hotel, with twinkly ceilings even! Absolutely First Class!! Thanks all, see you in January!

#physiotherapy. I had physio with Frederico Febbraro following a very painful knee operation. I had to build my muscles up from scratch and could never have managed without his help. I had had an injury for years and so my knee and muscles needed serious help to get back to normal. Thanks to Frederico, 16 months later I am back doing great workouts at the gym which also include a bit of running - but that is still a work in progress! Thank you for your patience Frederico and all you have done to help me feel almost normal again!

Rochelle and her team have been superb throughout my course of treatment. The care and attention to detail has been second to none - having had surgery on my shoulder back in Sept 2019, I was naturally anxious as to how the recovery would go. But step by step, they have looked after me. Whilst at times challenging, and it still is, almost 10 months later, I feel confident and supported by a team of specialists that clearly put patient welfare at the top of their list. Thank you Rochelle, and to all the others in the team, who have put me back together! :)

I have just returned home a few days ago following my hip replacement. I am very happy with the care I received across the board. My surgeon Professor Alister Hart was exceptional and very communicative. All the staff are very caring and thorough with their care. I was particularly impressed with the Physiotherapy staff, all of whom were very professional and knowledgeable. I met many of the staff: Sara, Davide, Alex and Matthew (to name a few) all of whom were very good communicating with each other, as they were familiar with my stages of rehabilitation. I received a lot of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy (which was excellent) Everyone was so caring and above all, thorough with their care. The HCA staff were very well trained and kind. Going above and beyond and always with a smile. My nurses Ileana was an angel and seemed like a mind reader. She seemed to know what I needed before I even asked! Nurse Adriana was amazing and superb. I recommend this hospital without hesitation.

Seemed a lovely hospital until looked closer, a room that was supposed to have been cleaned was dirty and disgusting, pubes over the floor and toilet (picture evidence sent off with complaint) . Dirty in corners of room. Staff extremely rude.

The nurses and doctors are amazing, you cannot fault the care you receive on the ward. Unfortunately the front of house staff are not as organised or empathetic. Today I left the hospital after a major operation but the roads were all closed, therefore the person picking me up couldn’t get to the hospital doors. The front of staff knew the roads were closed but had not accommodated for how patients would safely leave the premises. The front of staff just kept their heads down and said, well the roads are closed. I finally was given a wheelchair and was wheeled out the building, down Marylebone Road and into Harley Street. I had been previously told that the porters would take me to the Harley Street entrance (via the building itself as the building does have an entrance here), but then I was told them at that exit was closed off and they wouldn’t open it. Of course the front of house team cannot control when the roads are closed, but surely they would have a plan in place when it is... ??

Back again to the wonderful physiotherapy dept. at The London Clinic. I have recently had to come back for further pysio for a new issue with my shoulders and lower back. I started having spasms in the upper part of my back and general pain in my lower back. I was wonderfully treated by a lovely physiotherapist called Deepa in the past and asked to see her again for this new ailment. As before Deepa was went through each if my issues one by one and explained what could be the cause of each one. She then told me what I needed to do at home in regards to exercises and posture. During the clinic appointments, Deepa then started tackling each issue individually. It's been around 2 months now and a debilitating pain that would come and go on my upper back and shoulder is now almost gone and I have almost stopped very strong regular painkillers. We are now working on my lower back and I know Deepa will sort it out with her patient and knowledgable sessions. I have been undergoing chemotherapy for some time and have had various side effects as a result. Among them I have developed neuropathy. My oncologist suggested that I try acupuncture which has helped in some patients. I started treatment with Deepa a few months ago at the London Clinic. I found such an improvement, which was just amazing. We then moved onto other aspects which were affecting my quality of life. Anxiety, joint pains, stress pains in the neck and shoulders. Slowly but surely things started to improve. Deepa is just wonderful. Makes you feel at ease, ask about any other emotional or mental issues that are of concern, gets an over all idea of the physical and mental mind frame then starts the treatment. I think not only for 'healthy' patients but also those going through chemo, this can be a wonderful support mechanism.

I have been attending the London Clinic since I had shoulder surgery in December 2019. I have been blown away by the attentiveness and professionalism with which my shoulder has been dealt with by Rochelle every week. As the injury heals and is confronted with new hurdles every week the method required to treat it needs pinpoint accuracy to finetune specific exercises to strengthen for going back to work, returning to sport and in improving the general balance of my shoulders. I am an Architect so the stresses hit exactly at the point where I need a huge amount of stability in my joint for drawing technically and by hand, so the stakes are high. I have been dealing with this issue for a number of years and have always plateaued I felt in part due to too general physio advice but feel really confident that I'll get there with the work I'm putting in with Rochelle. Thank you for all your hard work! Ciarán

I was admitted to TLC on 13th January 2020, surgery on 14th and discharged on 22nd. At the pre-admittance assessment I was informed by the physiotherapist Sara Galli about breathing exercises to keep my lings functioning and clear when I would be lying down for extended periods and hardly moving. In addition the types of physio exercises that I would be using once in recovery and thereafter were explained to me. These steps were followed up when I had returned to my room after surgery and from then one daily, even twice a day with other members of the physio team. The upshot was that I recovered quickly and was walking around the floor in 3 or 4 days post-op and then using the stairs for 4 lights and finally taking a walk outside round the block of Devonshire Place and Harley Street. When I left the clinic I was in great shape to go home and progressively pick up my normal activities. Thanks to Sara and the physio team for their professionalism and for the (usually) gentle encouragement with the exercises and perseverance.

I've had an excellent experience with physiotherapy at the London Clinic. Owing to a surgery earlier in the year, I am in the midst of physio for my hand and arm and my therapist Rochelle Francois has been fantastic throughout the process, both in terms of getting the results (I've already seen a lot of progress) and offering encouragement and support. The exercises are all specific to the functions that were impacted by the surgery and she's always explained why something is needed and how it helps in the recovery, as well as answering all my (many) questions and cheering me on. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience with virtual Physio. I had problems with my knees and only had 4 weeks to get in shape for a big hiking trip. I was also not in London, so all my sessions were virtual. Physio Daniel Bainton put an exercise plan together, demonstrated it all online and coached me through the 4 week preparation phase. I'm very happy with the treatment I have received at the London Clinic by Fiona Parka and Deepa Morar. Fiona has helped me through rehab, showing me many exercises with both weight bearing and resistance bands to build strength. At the start of each session, she does a strength test to track process. She is extremely knowledgable and explains everything in great detail. She is very friendly and genuinely cares about you and your recovery. Fiona referred me to see Deepa for acupuncture to help with pain and healing. This was my first acupuncture experience, so naturally a little nervous. Deepa made me feel very comfortable, explained everything she was doing and I quickly felt in very good hands. She also gave me a massage at the end of the acupuncture which helped release further tension in my back/neck and relax my muscles. She's also extremely knowledgable, sharing her wisdom with me and suggesting lots of things I can do by myself to help with my recovery. I've had 3 sessions now and can say it really does work. The pain relief is incredible and the relaxing feeling afterwards. Deepa also cares about you and is very invested in your recovery.

I was recently treated with acupuncture by Deepa Morar and had a very positive experience. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer just over a year ago and have been on treatment to lower my testosterone levels to control the spread. It has worked fantastically well so far, but like so many men in my position, I have had some hot flushes. To my surprise I was offered acupuncture to control these, and was referred to Deepa who saw me on three occasions. Each time, she treated me with great skill and understanding and even went the extra mile to provide me with acupuncture and massage for my persistent low back pain. She's a remarkable therapist and I recommend her very highly.

Extremly disappointed. I had Covid 19 antibodies test, and told results are usually back within 72 hours. It is now past that time, so I called the clinic and I was told they(lab) doesn't t work on Saturdays and was asked to call back on Monday. It would not be upset if they were super busy and cant keep up with the demand. But this isn't the case, as my family members did get their results. So they just forgotten mine. I'm angry as this interferes with my plan for which I needed to know if I had antibodies. So if you need a test, go for smaller clinics that have better customer service and care about every patient, even if they just one off customers.

I had an arm injury recently. Thankfully, my arm wasn't broken, but there was damage. The direction of my treatment was set by Dr. Rajeev Sharma (he is an orthopedic surgeon) and then developed by Dr. Daniel Bainton (he is a physiotherapist). It has been very professional. I mostly met with Dr. Bainton as he developed the course of my treatment for the arm: exercise, shockwave therapy, advice on food supplements. Mr. Bainton paid specific attention to my desire to get back to practicing my favorite physical activities, which has been particularly rewarding for me. I was particularly impressed by the attentiveness of Mr. Bainton and the overall very good service at the clinic during the course of this particular treatment.

The London Clinic really is the best hospital in the UK. The care is truly excellent. I recently stayed for 5 days which was so difficult as no visitors were allowed due to Covid. The nurses made everything so much better. They are such a caring, loving team. I was looked after by Charles, Olga, Ewa and Lucia to name a few. The most amazing part of my stay was down to Paul O'Brien, the head chef and his team. I have food intolerances and was so worried about lack of choice especially as family couldn't bring anything in. Well I needn't have worried at all. Omg the meals he prepared for me were proper top class restaurant standard. I looked forward to something different every meal time. So lovely. Thank you to Paul, Eunice and Alec. Even the cleaners and kitchen staff are great at this hospital. Polite and friendly. Thanks so much to all at the London Clinic. It really was a great stay during such difficult times and after a painful operation.

I received great care there, but I wished the self-pay pricing was more transparent. I also wished they were easier to reach over the phone to discuss cases, but they always seem to be in a rush.

Fantastic care with experienced practitioner. I have suffered with chronic back and joint pain for many years. Over the five sessions of acupuncture I’ve had I have benefited immensely. Deepa is very knowledgeable and caring, going out of the way to accommodate my needs. Since beginning the sessions I have found that my energy levels have gone up significantly and my pain is much more manageable. She has made it possible for me to get on with my day to day life without pain medication. I would recommend her to anyone who is in a similar situation.

Marta De Oliveira is absolutely fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and very professional and also a really lovely person. I felt I was in great hands from the very start. Marta was also really helpful with the suggestions she provided me with and you can really tell she genuinely cares about her patients' progress and helping them get better. I really cannot recommend her enough.

Where on earth do I start? The whole ordeal has been a nightmare. Firstly, the secretaries can't even get me a diagnostics appointment within the hospital. I can honestly get a scan done at my local NHS hospital compared to the time it took to find me a slot within the london clinic. Then the front of house staff are either absent or there and cannot be bothered to provide a basic level of good customer service. Forget about trying to get through to them via their appointments line, the patient advisor merely passes you over to the relevant overworked secretary to book the appointment. The place is a merry-go-round. AVOID. I recently visited the Cleveland Hospital near Buckingham Palace- much better service!

Spent 3+ hours for consultation and ultrasound. my time was wasted on waiting for people jumping the queue and creating a CR-ROM (but never receive it! i was told that the machine was not working after waited for 30mins). Email them at the same time when I posted this review, but they only replied to my review and still have no reply to my complaint.

I was referred to TLC for physio due to calcified tendinitis in my shoulder and my therapist Rochelle has been amazing. I had extremely limited mobility with my right shoulder when we started and 5 sessions in, my progress is huge with around 95% mobility. Rochelle is extremely kind, attentive and patient. She really listens to me and knows how to identify the precise areas in need of improvement so that therapies are very targeted, leading to week on week improvements. Rochelle spends plenty of time talking and listening to me, the exercises she has assigned have massively improved my recovery, she clearly cares a lot about her patients and I feel very lucky to have had my sessions with her. Would 100% recommend!

I saw Deepa, who was patient, understanding and thorough. She was concerned to address not just the condition I was referred to her for, but also my general physical, mental and emotional well-being. I have greatly benefited from my sessions with her and would highly recommend her.

The doctor I saw was really kind and helpful—he told me the diagnosis and explained what he knew and the knowledge gap that needed to be filled with further examination. The receptionists and examination practitioners are all very helpful and friendly as well. Overall, the experience at this clinic was very positive and made me feel safe.

I have had a wonderful day here, in the care of the most competent, diligent & caring members of staff. I traveled many floors, interacted with, was directed, greeted, reassured, tested, assessed & thoroughly cared for by the most wonderful team I could have imagined. Thank you!!! Each & everyone of you at the London Clinic, contribute to a beautifully clean, fantastically well organised hub of outstanding care & service.

I was referred to The London Clinic by my Specialist Simon Jennings, who in turn had been recommended to me by my insurance company AXA PP I have to say that the whole process of assessing my injury and establishing a prognosis with Mr Jennings and the subsequent half knee replacement operation on Monday has been exceptional Special mention MUST also go to the nursing and physio team at The London Clinic who go above and beyond and due to their constant care, i am walking home at around 2pm today Whilst unfortunately i have had to have several operations in the past at varying hospitals, nothing has come close to the experience that I have had here The pre assessment meetings with both the nursing and physio team were extremely helpful and helped to quash any concerns i had and the whole process thereafter has been seamless I cannot thank everyone enough who have a genuine desire to do their very best all the time

This clinic was the most disorganised experience I’ve ever had to deal with. When I called up to try and find contact details for my consultant, they were unable to provide me with them. I waited over a week for a response to an email to my consultant, and when I chased to follow up I was given a number for a pa, who then answered and said she no longer works for them. It’s just astonishing to me that a) you don’t have the contact details for all the consultants, and b) that this is the level of communication and organisation you think is acceptable. I’m shocked at the service I received.

I have been staying at the London Clinic for the past 4 weeks and have to give 5*s to Chef Paul and his team. They really go over and beyond for patients, and have helped me so much in my recovery. They cater for different food requirements, and alter the menu depending on your treatment eg. Mucositis after chemotherapy, or a dairy intolerance. The team really care for patients like their own family, and it does not feel like hospital food, with so many different options that are nutritious!

Was here nearly 5 years ago and was looked after so well then that it was a given I'd come back here when my leukaemia returned The quality, professionalism and bedside manner of all the staff from the cleaners to the consultants is exceptional What I think sets it apart is that an atmosphere has been created that has the patients wellbeing at the forefront. This is seen in the provision of good sized comfortable rooms (which are excellently soundproofed), a wide choice of really well prepared food and staff in all departments who go the extra mile to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible - it really is more like a 5 star hotel than a hospital. Maria in the catering team is a classic example - instead of just bringing my food in and leaving it we usually have a quick chat and she's always happy to discuss menu choices / provide ideas especially when I'm particularly unwell. She does this in such a caring, empathetic way that my stay is the best it can be

An amazing facility, I've had the privilege of being referred to Adrian Wilson for a very complex knee Injury. After not being able to move properly for nearly a year, I'm now 17 weeks post op able to walk properly, cycle and carryout rehab exercises without much pain. This might seem like a long recovery but I'm over the moon with what Adrian has been able to achieve and will be forever grateful for his kindness and expertise. Thank you Charmaine Wall

I came to the Clinic following an unexpected suspected Bell's Palsy. Deepa Morar, one of the Senior Physiotherapists at the London Clinic, has been absolutely fantastic! She's shown authentic care for me and has been very supportive throughout my recovery. She was very knowledgeable and cared for me holistically. I couldn't have asked for more! Deepa also has a Masters in Acupuncture which has proven to be really helpful for my recovery. I would definitely recommend Deepa and the London Clinic Team!

Would do less if I could. Booked me in for a major, invasive surgery and misled me on the size of a lump in my breast. After a professional second opinion was informed the surgery was unnecessary. Kept me completely in the dark on results and took so long to answer and schedule anything. Be prepared to chase for very serious diagnosis and be treated less than human. Weeks of anguish and anxiety. The secretary were the most unhelpful and unsympathetic staff I have ever dealt with. Must be said the nurses are friendly, professional and kind. The rooms are clean and the receptionist was attentive. Would be extremely concerned to ever have a family member go near here.

I had one week here, my stay was absolutely as good as it could have been. Post surgery I was given the best fresh ginger tea and freshly made chicken consomme which I still genuinely dream about. It really did make an enormous difference to recovery and should not be underestimated. All the care was first class with a great emphasis on recovery. There were so many opportunities to mention if things were not right, I am surprised to read some of the negative reviews. Physio was great, pain management great and surgical team all kind and thoughtful. I would definitely choose to go there again should I need to. Many thanks to all. Best wishes

The physio team at the London Clinic were brilliant, explaining pre- and post- op care. Huge thanks to Ben for his support and guidance. I have no doubt I will be back to full health soon thanks to his advice.

Please Avoid the London Clinic!!! My Father had endoscopy 2years ago. It was more expensive than the other clinics but I thought I will get better service. We were asked to pay all the amount before leaving hospital which we did and got our receipt after few month I received a letter with extra charges. I called them and I was told that it was a mistake and it will be fixed. 6 month later I received the same letter! I called again and was assured that this will be taken to the manager and will be sorted. 6 month later I received the same letter! I emailed them with my complaint. They didn’t reply or even call back! A year later I received the same letter. Each time I called I got different messages form a different staff. I called yesterday to give a chance before going public hoping the issue can be resolved but the staff just directed me to put my complain in writing which I already did a year ago! I will make an update if this gets resolved.

In London for the same surgery, my father and his friend Mr Nielsen faced an extensive wait back home, with 326 patients ahead of them. They choose St Mary's Hospital and The London Clinic. My father Opting for the latter, and have selected the highly reputable Dr. Ian Jinkins and Hospital for his medical care.

I had a large operation on my leg last week and now back home, very grateful to the whole Team at The London Clinic. I'd go as far as to say the experience was very pleasant (notwithstanding the leg operation!). The surgical staff - amazing. Nursing and ward staff - amazing Physio staff - amazing Service staff - amazing Amanda and her Team on the 6th floor - so kind and helpful. Zuzana, Rochelle, Carina, Silvia, I could go on - professional and very kind. Physio Team in Helen, Ben and Jess, all so good. Helen literally had me on my feet in no time and was brilliant company, all the while. Ben is a gent and pre op, settled lots of nerves - great bloke. John and Stephen and Konstantinos, kept the amazing food and drink, in rich supply. I highly recommend treatment here to anyone reading, at The London Clinic. Brilliant place.

The admin and finance side is appalling and the lack of professionalism is astounding. The lack of professional courtesy has left me with a very bad experience and it affects the overall stay experience. I've spent hours on the phone to both your respective departments and AXA Health online which I should not have to do. There has been no time where I have been any less than polite and pragmatic to your staff but you still have not dealt with this at all despite being told it's been dealt with. I am £4000 missing and want it back immediately. The experience has left me wishing I had never had to have been in the hospital and I hope never to return. You should be ashamed of the way you treat patients as a money-making commodity. If I ran my business like you administrate the hospital I would have no clients and no/ business.
