A field clinic in a run down third world country is better staffed than this place. If you have the option of any A&E in London, avoid this hospital by all means. It's understaffed, with A&E wait times of over 10hours. The lone on-call GP at the URGENT care reception is averaging one patient per 28mins. Yes, it's a saturday and there's only ONE Dr on call. You can die in the waiting area and no one will even notice. Would love to do a FOI on what the management in this hospital are being paid for doing such a horrendously disastrous job. Enough is enough! p.s. the board says waiting times of 6 hours because they're hoping out of the list of 25ppl, 13 ppl leave. When was the last time this hospital's statistics were audited?

I had my bloods done today in the walk in clinic. For the first time in my LIFE, I didn’t feel the needle enter my vain. Normally having injections are painful. But Lloyd in the blood clinic was amazing, I didn’t feel a thing. He is gentle and precise and quick. All who do bloods should be trained by Lloyd ….

Dangerous, patronising and complacent treatment in my case, along with extremely poor communication. Medic centred rather than patient centred. My experience was so bad that I've asked my urgent, life saving operation be transferred to another London hospital, despite the risk. I think that says it all. Just remember you have a legal right to be treated at a hospital of your choice and look at various rankings before you decide. King's performs badly by both international and UK standards. Choose carefully. I came in for an outpatient CT scan but was given a drug that led to me being admitted for a week. Of course I was met with denial. The doctors were more interested in covering their arses than compassionate treatment. Extremely poor.

Daughter has been in this hospital nearly 4 weeks. Communication is non existent. No urgency from anyone. On day of discharge we were kept waiting from 9 am until 8pm just to get the meds needed. And they have the gall to go on strike!! They deserve a pay cut not a pay rise.

An A&E department that is so slow, you would think that tortoises work here. It has not even been busy, only few people waiting. 6 people in front of me in the Q at the check in, so that already took an hour before even being seen by the receptionist, who was slow and unfriendly. For a simply thing, where in any other country, you could do to a GP, after 5mins you have what you need and you are done. After 9h here already, I still haven't been seen by a doctor and thought i write this to pass some time. Disgraceful

A properly run NHS hospital with a friendly clinical and administrative team. Was amused by the range of services they provide, the patient management system and other amenities. Has an excellent emergency team with specialists in each department.

This building has great doctors, but evil ones they let slide. There are articles of proof everywhere thar will never be forgotten. The second photo is hidden for respect for the victim's privacy.

The staff at this hospital was amazing. Resus and the women's ward floor 3 . Can't thank them enough for everything they did too look after my daughter. There care and bedside manner is wonderful. One of the nurses called Jess who is about too qualify was so friendly and caring, we hope and are sure she will pass. This is definitely a hospital that I would recommend. Thank you so much. 😊

Unless it's a life and death situation, DO NOT GO TO THE A&E OF THIS HOSPITAL. I felt down the stairs and broke my leg and, to start with, they didn't have any wheelchairs (I met another lovely girl who fractured her hip and was also told that they had no wheelchairs available at A&E). I waited for 5 hours to be seen by a nurse who told me the completely opposite to what the nurse that saw me the next time I was there said. I know somebody that works there at night and he's told me it literally looks abandoned and practitioners would Google the symptoms of the patients because they simply don't know and there's nobody else they can refer to. When I finally saw an orthopedic doctor 5 days later, oh well, wasn't I in for a treat! I told him that the metal bars in my sling were poking out and he told me that if I didn't want to wear it, that was my choice. I obviously said that it wasn't that at all and it may have been that this particular sling wasn't working properly and he told me that if I was worried the bars would dig in my flesh, I should know that no method was perfect, that casts present other issues as well and that it was normal it felt uncomfortable. He contradicted everything that I had been told at A&E and he said that they knew nothing and again, it was up to me who I wanted to listen to, them or him who was the specialist. It was probably the worst and most bizarre doctor's appointment I have ever had, he would even pull faces every time I asked or said something. It was pretty clear to me that he may have been battling with his own medical condition which is what's likely to make him have that type of behaviour, but if I had known before, I would have saved myself the countless hours that I waited in that hospital receiving barely any help.

I don't think I have ever met someone as beautiful, kind, pure and loving as Patience Omokaro. She has worked beyond a nurses role for my sick brother and seeing how she looked after him and treated him made us feel safe and assured that he is in good hands. My brother cannot communicate like other sick patients and is practically incapable of voluntary movement but Patience speaks and converses with him as if he is responding. She sings to him and even tells him jokes.

I cannot call it hospital. I have been referred to the gastroenterology more than a year ago and I have not been seen yet. My appointment has been canceled twice and the third one was booked with a registrar. I have been told that if I want to be seen by a consultant the next available appointment is in 1 year. This is not a health provider it’s a bad joke.

The hospital nurses , doctors and the staff take a good care of the patients there and make them feel cared for. The hospital is fully wheelchair/stroller accessible with accessible path , ramps , lifts and accessible toilets for all with even baby changing stations in them. We went there in the A&E pediatric department. There was a lot of waiting required due to many patients there and they are currently allowing only one parent or carer per child. They follow the COVID norms. There are toys and even sensory rooms available in case you need to wait. In general there can be a wait for 2-3 hours depending on number of patients. The reception staff and nurses are polite and treatment helped the child be better. Along with a pharmacy , they also have food and water vending machines in case you forgot to bring with multiple options for kids. Waiting times can sometimes be long specially with kids it can be frustrating but the service is good so its usually crowded.

My dad has had liver cancer for a long time. They have done scans revealing it was abnormal in the past, yet they never said it was emergency. He had all the side effects for 2 years, yet they ignored it. Only now they found out about it. Now they say it's too strong for surgery or any treatment, they say he does not have much time to live. Seems like they did this in purpose. They can't even do their research properly considering he had all the side effects before.

We had to go to King College Hospital. Considering this is a tough time for us, the hospital were fantastic. Every consultant showed emotion, care, humility and humour. My wife and I could not have asked for a better experience. Professor Kypros was amazing and so were his colleagues. Extremely kind. Grateful for the leadership in the procedure throughout and the kindness shown. Thank you!

My child was sick with 40 degrees fever and oral thrush and he was not seen by the doctor properly. No on consoled us when we complained for the sick child. They are very racist and they try to get rid of patients as fast as possible. When I cried to the nurse to check him properly she was not sympathetic at all and it looked like she was trying to get rid of patients as soon as possible. Extremely horrible doctors and bad service. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL 🏥 unless you are taking your last breath ☹️☹️☹️

Was admitted to A&E here a week ago with multiple broken bones and though there was a long wait (mainly the fault of patients going to A&E unnecessarily instead of calling 111…), all the staff were really friendly and kind, from porters to consultants. Had a follow up today and though it was super busy, both the doctor and the occupational therapist I saw took time to chat and have a laugh with me as well as explain simply and properly what they were doing/what the next steps are/etc. Even the lady in the plastering room remembered doing my cast last week even though she must have seen dozens and dozens of patients since then. The staff here are an asset to a very overstretched and underfunded NHS.

I need to constantly call them to remind them that I exist. Had to call them to remind them that I might have tumours and that I been waiting for an MRI appointment for three months and they said “Oh so sorry about that come next week”. Then now I’m chasing them to contact them about my results as I’ve taken the MRI a month and a half ago.

I do not normally post any reviews but I think this time I need to do it. Went to King's on A&E for a chest pain. First part of the journey was quite good managed to get an ECG in less than an hour. But then troubles started. We were about 30 people waiting and the queue was not moving. Asked a few time essentially to be told that they were short on people. Waiting kept increasing from 2 to 5 hours. We had even someone collapsing in the waiting area and had trouble to even find help for him. People were getting really angry and tense. Some people had waited for 6 hours. I really don't blame the staff working in NHS and trying their best but honestly having to wait 5-6 hours to see a doctor.... I ended up discharging myself with my ECG and asked a friend doctor to verify it for me. Never again will I go to Kings. I had better experience at Guy and St Thomas hospitals. Honestly avoid the emergency at Kings

It's not a good hospital now since covid came. It was one of my favourite hospital in entire London as two of my kids were born there. Now probably they got some staff freshly imported from different country. They can't even communicate with people properly. But there are some good nurses who we have to appreciate for their services. Soon UK will fall into a third world country.

I turned up having to drive over an hour to get my son tongue tie sorted. I arrive as per instructions and am not familiar with the area, this hospital had zero car parking facilities near where we went. Bear in mind I have a 5 week year old, his mum who's still recovering from an infection due to pregnancy and a stroller, bassinet and all his stuff. I'm carrying it all, no problem but no where to park. I cannot be driving around hoping to find somewhere to park when my appointment is due soon. So find myself parking in the permit only bays outside the building we had our appointment. Staff were great, very professional and brilliant but I think it's a disgrace Lambeth council or the hospital whoever it is, are preying on patients particularly those with new borns. The answer they have is get public transport, yeah right, dream on, not with all of this equipment. So I was there 3.5 hours of course I get a parking ticket I'm not paying them a penny, they can do one. I also would advise the hospital YOU should give your STAFF safe and priority parking spaces. You don't and that's appalling.

Very terrible from the receptionist, the nurse and the A&E. The wait time was stated to be over 8 hours. The waiting area had no self-distancing. People coughing and packed together in one room like sardines. I had to leave because the hospital was dirty, blood on the floor and felt uncomfortable due to hygiene standards. The nurse called Queefy called me and was extremely rude, before she knew my whereabouts she told me she was removing me from the list. I understand they’re understaffed but if you are not happy doing your job and cannot treat patients with care then leave! Find a new job. People are sick and possibly dying and we don’t deserve to be treated in such a way. This is not free medical care as we pay for this service in our taxes!

Took a while to get my surgical date but when I came into the hospital I was really pleasantly surprised. This was my first NHS surgical experience (being fortunate to have private healthcare for many years). The staff were outstanding at all levels. The surgical team were brilliant and I felt very well cared for. The ward was clean and I felt safe. To get that 5* rating the food and food service needs a little improvement. I was refused some toast post surgery by the ward catering staff and not offered any other hot drinks or biscuits during the afternoon. The nursing staff offered to make the toast but he was being a “jobs-worth”, this was a little disappointing. The food was tasty but the selection was a little “school dinners”. Overall, a very good surgical experience at Kings. Thank you NHS ❤️

Don’t go to the A&E it’s a joke they make you wait for 3+ hours. Just to see a doctor it’s not worth the hassle coming down and they don’t offer you any pain relief. Don’t come to the A&E Simple!!!!!!

This hospital is a joke. I had an appointment on 29th January 2024, they cancelled it to 23rd January. I travelled from eltham and took the day off work to be told that it has been cancelled till the 5th March. No letter, text or phone call. Well stick your appointment because I'm not coming. I've had enough of that hospital with there disappointments. I've be waiting a year and 3 months to get my shoulder sorted. A JOKE

I generally see this as a good hospital but I do believe measures should still be in place such as wearing a mask, covering mouths when coughing and sneezing. There are patients in A&E with blood on the clothes. This is how bacteria spreads more. A&E area needs more ventilation. People are washing their hands it's just all very unhygienic. Unfortunately I came in because I was having a severe asthma attack to be put on nebs for 2 minutes after staff took 20 minutes to look for the nebuliser. Why wasn't this in a reachable place ? After telling nurses and doctors I'm feeling dizzy and nauseaous to be put into the waiting area. Then moved to SDEC waiting area after 1 hour where I've been waiting for blood results for the past 4 hours. It's actually madness. I've had my children here and always rated thus placed highly but more does need to be done about waiting time. 8 hour wait is crazy.

Had treatment in A&E and was referred to the ACU for follow up a few days later. Staff nice and thorough with their treatment however they left me sitting in the waiting room 2 hours after being "discharged" at the Dr had told me I needed to wait. Not happy to say the least.

Had my first child here, I had a c section which went well! This was at the nightingale birth centre 4th floor.. Felt like everyone there was so lovely and attentive! Until I got moved to the William Gilliatt ward (3rd floor) there I felt like that was where they just drop you off and you’re forced to do everything yourself, due to COVID I understand my partner couldn’t be there but regardless, no one ever checks up on you except for when they have to do your blood pressure and what not, I have never felt so alone, I struggled because I didn’t know why my baby wouldn’t stop crying and felt like I had tried everything and they were no help. (Some of the nurses were nice) But even going up to the reception desk, everyone would walk past and not one person acknowledged me, this really ruined my experience. So disappointed!!!!!

they took me for back surgery with only one sign. It's been 4 months and I have pain in places that never hurt. My left leg didn't hurt at night before the surgery, but now it hurts day and night while sitting and walking. I wish I hadn't gone to that hospital that night. yes nurses are nice and helpful. but I can't say that for the doctors and the hospital. I am very sorry. now i have pain and i can't work. they don't care at all. How many more months can I last like this? I refer you to God.

Great nurses at this hospital who put a lot of time and effort into patients care. The food was pretty good for hospital food too. I was on three different wards and the lunch man on Charles Pokey was the most friendly. Volunteers help out in this hospital in A&E and on wards too with activities and food I noticed. I did find the cleanliness a little questionable at times on all three wards.

Amazing hospital and staff! If your problem is health critical then you are treated as a priority! If less so then you will have to wait. Often test have to be done and these take time. I have had excellent health care from Kings! If you go in expecting speedy service, then don't! It's not a private health provider - it's as it's said : Accident and Emergency!

My husband is still in this hospital. His case turned out to be serious when he was admitted. My husband didn’t take well the hours of waiting and many tests run on him. However, thanks to massive support from Dr. K. Quinn, who managed to convince my husband to do what’s best for him, and his amazing team, we got the answers and help. I was amazed how fantastic everyone was showing understanding, offering help, patience, giving a smile in a place where so much misery can be seen. MASSIVE THANK YOU - I hope it reaches those who had even a brief encounter with Harold C.

The worst experience of my life. 12-hour wait in A&E, was then told by the doctor he wouldn’t do any blood tests or check my cervix (“we don’t do that here”) yet didn’t bother referring me despite acknowledging I was vomiting and in severe pain, both indicators in my case that there’s something very wrong. Told me to call my GP on Monday. There was a woman with a broken leg who had been waiting for 9 hours; she was then told there was no injury doctor on that evening and everyone with an injury was told to go home. Absolutely insane. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. People were just crying and lying on the floor in pain. I got the impression nothing I’d said to staff was going in about my symptoms - bleeding was one of my main symptoms and they seemed to have forgotten to write it down. It was third world, there’s no other way to describe it. I’ve been in rammed A&Es before and had to wait hours, but always at the end of it I’ve been seen and had the right tests done. Thats what A&E‘s duty is- either treating or referring people who are sick. This A&E completely failed to either. Staff were rude and inattentive as well. This is what I imagine hell to be like. Please, please don’t come here, go to literally any other hospital even if it’s much further away. You could die in this waiting room and they wouldn’t notice

I got transferred from St Thomas’ to King’s College as I needed specialist care due to facial swelling. The doctor who assessed me and admitted me to the hospital was very gentle and patient, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease when my anxiety was over the roof. Every single member of staff I dealt with during my stay - all doctors, nurses, cleaners, the catering lady - were absolute ANGELS. Working in such a difficult environment and staying so calm and positive, taking care of everyone with a warm smile even when you don’t have enough beds at night doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for looking after me!

If i could rate this place lower i would trust me. I am tired, absolutely disgusted and perplexed at THE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service provided at King College's Hospital, a hospital famously know for being "The world leading innovation center", as described on their webpage. Plainly all lies in all honesty the only competent people are the ones who actually did years of education to become surgeons and even then they lack in just attending patients the rest of the nuisances and severe idiots there are posers in blue clothes with not even a pinch of intelligence. I would rather die than to make an appointment or even go here to get treated even if i had cancer and im not surprised others think the same. No wonder people in this country prefer to die than get an appointment, the clapping during quarentine was only to inflate their dastarly egos and coherce them into working longer hours. I despise this hospital with my very core.

Letter said appt was at 1400hrs for my elderly grandmother. Got to self check in, and the hospital changed the appt until 1545hrs with no reason. Then got told I might get seen quicker if they checked us in at reception, so got checked in, then got told to go to X-Ray. Over an hour wait in X-Ray with 10 people coming in after us but being seen beforehand. Wouldn’t mind if it was for me, but this is for someone in the late 80s who struggles a lot more than me with still over an hour train ride home.

The most wretched experience of my life. Awake for 24+ hours, waiting for 12+ to be taken seriously, stuck in uncomfortable chairs in the fluorescent lit rooms during the wee hours of night into morning while experiencing the most excruciating pain of my life and just being walked past and ignored by nurses. Constantly told “just a few more minutes” and then it was hours. Edit - I standby the fact I was left alone very often with little answers, but once I did finally get a bed my nurse was excellent and the doctors did make sure I got the procedure I needed and took very nice care of me. Getting out of the A&E took forever, but once I did my experience drastically changed.

A & E staff terrible, got knocked of my bike. They rolled their eyes and just was awful. Left me in A & E 10 hrs. Went back with a kidney infection a month later and it was even worse than before. I could not believe that a staff member in A & E was shouting at sick patient. Infront of everyone. Had to discharge myself. Only one staff member, Mary was excellent but her boss the one shouting openly at patients sent her away whilst she was helping me. Go to the doctors. You get treated better.

I had a planned, minor operation under general anaesthetic at the King's Day Surgery clinic. Receptionists, nurses and doctors were all friendly and highly professional. The standard of care was excellent and I didn't even have to wait long to go in. I'm sure they're all too busy to read Google Maps reviews but still, well done and thank you to everybody I met - this is the NHS at its best.

Blood test waiting turn system is a mess: Went for a blood test with an appointment, waited for half an hour, saw my name in the panel of upcoming patients to be attended but never called in, then it went out of the list. Waited another half an hour and after asking one staff member, my appointment information was gone from the waiting list. I had to ask another staff member who luckily attended me after a total of 1:30h waiting, when walk-in appointments would take about half an hour. The waiting turn system lost my data. It should be fixed as it makes the patients and staff's life more difficult on top of all the work they do.

It’s NHS so of course it can take a while to get an appointment, but every time I’ve been in the staff are so nice and friendly. They calm all nerves and are very professional and good at what they do. On site facilities could be better, the queue for the pharmacy and the small Costa for example. But for NHS I think they’re great.

I had to go to a and e yesterday and I can’t say thank you enough to all the lovely staff. They were really thorough and explained everything really well, despite having loads of patients to see and being really busy as ever. Also big thanks to the lovely Nurse in the Emergency Day Care bit who made everyone tea while we were waiting for results.

Impossible to talk to any department.. will get transferred from person to person for hours and no will hear you out.. they just cut you off like as if they can read your mind.. they’ve cancelled and messed up my son’s MRI 8 times now it’s been 18 months. One day I get a call from the Dr asking if I was going to come to the MRI… I wasn’t even informed.. a shambles from top to bottom in communication and care.. I appreciate the work done by the Drs and staff but the structure is messed up…. Only way to get them reply properly or action anything is by complaining to the PALS team.. hope no one in need or serious care is referred here as it will cause you unnecessary pain, anxiety, stress, delay, confusion.. and rest assured you will get no form of clear communication… management needs to sort this out and unite all coms systems.. should’ve hired me to do the job…

Jungle or circus? Being kept on the phone by a female robot for 15 minutes, then same robot tells you that there are no agents to take your call , and hangs up the phone with mocking 'good bye'. The hospital cancels appointments for fun, sending you letters with different dates. It is mind-blowing that these people get employed and earn s..t loads of money for not doing their jobs. 21st century Britain and its state public services! A jungle or circus, I can't decide.

I was always treated with respect. Nurses and Doctors are really great professionals, kind , friendly and very helpful . I go there regularly for more than 3 years and I never saw any incident with patients regarding the way they have been treated. They make you feel comfortable which helps a lot when u feel anxious or worried about your treatments.

A bit of a long wait but excellent staff. A&E. Had a lumbar procedure by someone who was not very well trained but then a Doctor called Christopher Baldwin did it again after gaining my trust. He did a Wonderful job. So I want to thank him. Had a consultant who had a terrible bedside manner, cold like an ice queen no empathy. The nurses on Guthrie ward were Wonderful. Another person who was soo lovely and caring was Candle. A lovely name for a lovely person, in A&E.

My experience of kings college hospital was a positive one. Never been to this hospital before. I had to go to the endoscopy unit and was very nervous about it. All the nurses were brilliant. Everything was explained to me and any worries I had were quickly dispelled. I have nothing but praise for them. I have another appointment next week at the golden jubilee unit and hopefully that will be a good experience too.

If you are told about an operation in this hospital, do not accept it. they crippled an acquaintance here when he was young. Now the pain never stops. Other doctors are of the opinion that a second surgery and a platinum may be needed. Involuntary forced operation first appears in this hospital. Mr. cristoforos syrris, run away immediately.

Dr. Cristoforos syrris. Because of a doctor's wrong operation, this doctor is your doctor, you have crippled a young person. What a pain to send a patient who comes to the emergency room home without doing anything in the same situation. It ranks 1st as the world's worst hospital. Very very Bad hospital.

Appreciate the healthcare workers but been here from 6pm after been brought in by ambulance. It is now 10 past midnight. Nothing to eat from breakfast. Nothing from the hospital. Standing in the corridor after x-ray - breathing laboured. Weak and getting weaker. Just asked for water - dehydrated It is now 4:11am and I'm non the wiser as to what is happening. Communication is non existent. Asking for an update. No one comes back to you. Terrible, awful,

Waiting times in A&E are incredibly long. Over years I waited minimum 4 hours with longest time of 10h just to be seen by the Dr. (and then another waiting time for tests etc e.g., bloods - another 4h wait for results). Overall you spend a day there regardless of reason, including severe abdominal pain and chest pain, for which 111 nurse told me I need to get to hospital immidiately: sort of no use to be rushed in ambulance only to wait 2h for hospital nurse triage and another 2h to be seen by dr. and that was the quickest time I got care there. The staff who treated me, I must say, was always nice and caring, Dr's and nurses were professional and busy on their feet, but it always feels like there is far to many parients. This shows that there is simply always! not enough staff for so many patients and that was the case even before covid. This must be managed better, more resources have to be committed to A&E as I have seen patients leaving after 5h and going to different hospitals (they told me) and I did it once myself too.

Planned dental surgery at Kings. It took a couple of months for the referral to be processed, most likely due to Covid. However it was worth the wait. I received an excellent professional service from all staff, receptionist, nurses and dentists. They took time to give clear explanations and throughout the procedure were really reassuring. I want to thank all staff for your kindness and professionalism. Kings are very fortunate to have such an excellent team

Good hospital depending on your doctor and department. It is a very big hospital and that obviously means more patients and more timing issues. So be prepared for long wait times. The hospital has good facilities with cafes and shops inside and good signage to get around. Staff can be rude but this mainly relates to receptionists and pre-assessment nurses.

I'd give it a no rating, but there not that option came in to remove a dressing from my surgical procedure which take take 2 minute to remove told had to wait 4:30 hours to be seen bearing in mind there were people waiting still for 6+ hours. They had no staff calling people and more and more people were waiting for a hospital and to be part of the NHS where money have been invested disgrace. The doctor and nurse need to roll their sleeves a d get to work not just sit in the staff bay behind a computer doing nothing

The worst hospital ever! I went to the hospital at A&E at 11.00am and waited there until 9:30pm and still the doctor did not see me. I hurt my finger nail on the car door and my nail turned Black and green and it has blood inside too. The nurse saw me and said the doctor will call me soon around 12pm and nurse said that the doctor will need to make a whole and take the blood out from the nail in order for it to get better. So i waited and waited until 12pm but there was no doctor calling me, then kept waiting until 9:30pm as my Finger is at so much pain. The nurse came and said all the doctors ar gone at 9:30pm only 1 doctor left and the receptionist went home too. The waiting will be long! How disgusting! In that way any patient can get their injuries in more critical position! I left at 9:30pm. I am very disappointed and unsatisfied with the NHS service.

I've constantly been waiting 4 years for my partner to get a date so she can have an operation. We've have 2 GPs trying to help by sending letters or calling them, but still we have no date. We've sent a letter of complaint to try and speed up the process because her symptoms are getting worse by the day, but even then we get told they don't think her condition is serious enough. We've constantly been told excuses like COVID, strikes, waiting lists, etc but my partner nevet gets any commucation. If you want my advice, DO NOT go with King's college hospital for a procedure as they do not care about their patient's wellbeing.

I went to King's college hospital accident and emergency. Was at the hospital for 14 hours. In pain. A doctor from the gynecology came and see me. She wanted to examine me but was in so much pain. She said I was rude to her and she sent me home in pain. Have to go back to King's college hospital again because of the pain am still in for 2weeks. The doctor refused to see me because she said I was rude. I was not rude to her. I told her am in pain and if my voice is loud am in pain and I am partly deft. Now am back at the hospital for 9 hours and no doctor. Still in pain.

If you really care about your health and life, DO NOT RELY ON NHS ! For the past 3 months I was suffering from neck and back pain. I was going from one gp/hospital to another, and all I was given, was parecetamol. I did not wait any much longer, I bought a ticket and went back to my country where in 2 days I already knew that I require an urgent spinal surgery ! Therefore guys, GET YOUR MONEY, buy tickets and go to Poland- Warsaw for example (yes we speak english as well in most private clinics) and save your health and life !

Hear me out … I get its Christmas so services are bound to be slow , possibly slower than usual. I went to A&E due to being Ill for over 4 days , explained everything I needed too . Had bloods done and a urine test and spent 6 hours waiting for a doctor to get back to me after getting an opinion from Gynae department and Reg Doc , just to be told “Im sorry there is nothing more we can do to help you” . Absolutely stumped … this is my third visit to an A&E (2 Different ones) just to be sent home in pain and unable to eat. But because I look well I must be fine, that should not be acceptable coming from medical professionals. Disappointed is an understatement. A Stool sample test should be standard procedure in an A&E which is something they do not do.

Though I've not had many good experiences at hospitals what I will say is I had an appointment gyno and Dr Ross and her team were amazing. It's the first time I had been given such great care but also given vital details about my body that I had never been told before. She and her team were dedicated. I almost cried. The lost star isn't to do with Dr Ross and her team, it was to do with the dismissive and rude receptionist that I spoke to about a week later. If it hadn't been for her I would have given 5 stars.

This left end colonnade, Tuscan columns and horizontal entablature, was craned off in large intact Portland stone drums & blocks 1999 -2000 along with the an entire pavilion alongside, and further within an arched over gym & clutter of temporary buildings. This site was cleared to allow the construction of Golden Jubilee Wing. The stone removal had to be carefully 'unbuilt' by stonemasons, strapped and lifted away to storage, safety paramount because alongside hospital patient/visitor/staff pedestrian traffic carried on. The twin colonnade is sited at the right hand end of the Hambledon Wing. A number of the stone gate posts were also shuffled about and rebuilt.

A long wait in Renal outpatients department to see a Dr/Renal Nurse. Then an even longer wait to have bloods take. The whole department was exceptionally busy. I was eventually sent to another blood department due to the wait & this had an even longer waiting time! My next appointment was for an ultrasound, the wait wasn't very long there & the staff were very friendly & helpful. The only downside was the lift didn't work & as I'm disabled & in a wheelchair, it made it difficult for me to deal with the narrow stairs.

Not pleased with A+E Majors at Denmark Hill. I have been calling for hours to get an update on my mum and the guy on the phone say they are very busy. A+E will ALWAYS be busy so that is not even an excuse. It’s unacceptable to be ignoring phone calls when at least one staff could have picked up, especially with the COVID situation. Not even a courtesy call to let me know that my mum was about to be transferred to another hospital.

One of the porters who was helping when I was admitted was very creepy, even the nurse who was tending to me said she didn't know why he was there. Outstanding hospital. Provides care for numerous specialist illness/surgeries as well as general care. All the staff are extremely professional, polite and caring. It is a major trauma centre for the air ambulance service. The hospital is very well served by public transport, the bus stops are all outside the hospital gate and Denmark Hill Station no more than a 5 minute walk. If you have this as an option where to get treatment I would personally definitely make this my choice.

I've been referred to the cardiac department for surgical intervention of my heart valve by cardiologist in PRUH since 1st of March there is no appointment letter from that department. I had to travel to the hospital and asked, I was given an excuse that the secretary of the surgeon is on holiday or has left. This is 1st of June...3month of living in fear of possible heart attack or major stroke is nothing to this cardiac department. The receptionist was happy to quickly get rid of me by saying she will call me in 20minute to let me whatever someone she was going to call would say, it has hours of waiting for call from her at least.

I wanted to take a moment to share appreciation for the Nightingale Birth Centre at Kings College Hospital. The staff were very helpful and very kind. I am grateful for their time and support!

Started off okay, Fast forward to the 4th evening I asked for my dinner to come half an hour later than normal time as I was not hungry I then asked for my ormorph straight after as my previous dose had worn off after ringing the bed button 5 times! All they said is we’re doing a change over (apparently this takes over 2 hours) And kept resetting the ring button 2hrs 20min passed and I finally got my ormorph after missing a complete dosage (taking every 2hrs) Now it has been over 2hrs 40mins since I had originally asked and I still have not received my dinner absolutely shocking I feel disgusted about the matter.

Cannot recommend or thank the Kings A&E department staff enough. After arriving with severe abdominal pain and having to have multiple tests and scans, every single person I interacted with was wonderful. Professional, clear, personable and compassionate. A credit to our NHS. Thank you.

The hospital requires improvements. Not a nice experience in A&E. Generally the departments of the hospital don’t seem organised. Kings has a lot of work to do to get to a good standard. The Care Commission confirms that.

No words are able to express my gratefulness enough. Your outstanding expertise saved my life and your great kindness warmed my soul. If someone doesn't know whether angels exist, I can tell you exactly where they are.

I have been admitted into Accident and Emergency overnight quite a few times, and the nurses have all been so kind to me. They are all so friendly and happy, and I always have a good experience with the nurses.

Impossible to park in suitable place to get the wheelchair ramp down and wheelchair out of the car. Building accessible bbut waiting area cramped and not wheelchair friendly. Appointment had been cancelled without notification. Second time this has happened. We have to drive almost 100 miles to get to King's. There are good people at King's but the administration and parking is hopeless.

Caring and kind staff, special thanks to the ACU nurses and health workers who were all kind, professional and kept the vibes positive. Had two painless and quick blood takes. Thank you!

Very poor at help desk. Given wrong direction, when I came back to her, she says she is covering and she doesn't know. Even if you cover, you need to know or if you dont know find someone else to help. People like this shouldnt work at the help desk of NHS. We pay tax for idiots like these. Luckily a volunteer lady, very helpful and brought me to the right place.

Honestly if I could give less stars then one I surely will matter fact they don’t even deserve one star imagine I am still waiting for over 5hrs+ and my wife was in pain but all they can do is tell her to sit down??? They are so useless they say they have loads of experience but some nurses here don’t even have a pitch of sense making someone who is ill sit in pain,Even one of the nurses said to me that I can’t help my wife and have to sit in the waiting room and that’s where I instantly refused and as I am writing this I am still waiting for them to attend to my wife and do at least something to help but instead they are are sitting on there laptops some of them are having jokes with there co workers instead of helping us what a horrible hospital!!

😠 The night nurses are terrible they treat you like a subhuman. Many patients go ignored and neglected and I can’t even imagine how many people die because of their negligence. Basic courtesies they could follow up on like blankets when patients are cold or even talking to you when you are having anxi...

😠 I have arrived to this hospital at 13:20 with high blood pressure 182/118, and been seen my nurse only at 14:50 just to check my BP, which was still high. The nurse said that it is not very high, whereas in other hospitals patients like me seen as soon as possible! Still waiting if doctor will want...

😠 Hana Chief Nurse of Recess department. Hana’s customer care was awful and I am inclined to believe to be racist. I had travelled far to deliver a bag containing essential items for my mother who was transferred to Royal London Hospital. After being sent to the wrong ward I eventually was redirected...

😠 If I could give them a zero I would. I am from the states and unfortunately, had an accident and needed emergency surgery. I was treated so poorly. I developed a rash from their pillow and it too 6 days to get medication for it. There was NEVER any follow up from ANYONE. I never saw the surgeon...

😠 Nothing short of disgusting. If I could give no stars then I would! Entered via a filthy main entrance covered in grime and cigarette ends - is it too much to ask that a major Hospital in our capital city at least looks clean and welcoming upon arrival? Perhaps spend some of the funds that paid for...
