Almost 7 months after my first visit, I can only describe myself as a new woman. This was my first venture into the world of complimentary medicine - to think I almost didnโ€™t go because of my own and other peopleโ€™s prejudices! But I did and as a result I no longer suffer the collection of ailments that had me practically retire from life. So if youโ€™re feeling at the end of your tether and the allopathic medicine has failed to help you thus far, please PLEASE give Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine a go. You'll be glad you did.

Maybe too many people still believe this is a homeopathy hospital. It isn't. It's been a hospital that focuses on the whole person, unlike conventional medicine, for a number of years. If you only want pills and potions, then it won't be for you. But if you want something to work with traditional treatment, that can aide recovery and better health please give this hospital a try. Treatments like mindfulness, hypnotherapy, the insomnia clinic to teach sleep hygiene are offered. It's not a perfect hospital and no hospital can be. But in my own experience I've been helped hugely by the staff here. It compliments conventional medicine, rather than replaces it.

Thank you to all the doctors and staff of the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine. It is wonderful to have this jewel in the crown of our NHS. A place where Complementary & Homeopathic Medicine is integrated alongside Conventional Medicine. I hope that your Hospital receives increased funding and that this model of care will be replicated across the NHS. As the largest public sector provider of Complementary Medicine in Europe, every citizen of the UK should be both proud and grateful to have such a Hospital on our doorstep.

Spend a day on their Day Care Ward for loads of much needed testing. Ramp entrance with wheelchair aid button, just incase the ramp was too steep for a wheelchair user. On entering the hospital I was politely greeted by a hospital worker of whom took my temperature, asked me some Covid-19 question and asked why I was attending today. After the check were done, another hospital worker was kind enough to show me where the lift was and told me whivh floor I needed for the Day Care Ward. On arrival to the Day Care Ward I was asked to sanitize my hands once again, temperature was checked, form was filled in prior to being taken by a staff member to a side room for some more indetaied questions were asked, observation done, then then plan of action regarding my day ahead was eadily explained before he made me a lovely cup of coffee. Every procedure I had done during my stay on the Day Care Ward & other area's of the hospital were conducted with care, consideration, friendliness, help & understand. All staff were friendly, polite, they made sure that I totally understood every step of all of my procedures and were happy to give them written consent for the Lumbar puncture procedure. The hospital was spotless in all the area's I attended, hand sanitiser was widely available and face masks had to be worn during my stray. I would Highly Recommend this hospital, Day Care Ward & other area's, where I needed other tests conducted. Thank you for making my day a very relaxed time especially due to having to undergo so many procedures.

Such an amazing hospital, and itโ€™s all on NHS, hard to believe! I have CFS/ME and when I move to London I asked for a referral to CFS clinic. I had been attending one where I lived before but RLHIM is thousand times better! Before, I was only advised on pacing, had sessions with OT every few months and two very poor sessions with a dietitian (that didnโ€™t really help as it was just general information). But here? Oh my, I wish I have moved to London sooner! I was seen by an actual doctor, who was thorough, kind and knowledgeable. The session was almost an hour, no rush. I was also offered multiple therapies to help me. So far I have talked to a dietician, and she was great, had very deep knowledge of nutrition, psychology and what is important, of CFS. I am very grateful to be able to access this level of care on NHS, especially after my not-so-good experiences in my previous clinic.

Allergy Assessment & Management . I was seen within an hour of my appointment .The Consultant checked my notes & my own research into a possible Allergy problem. The only let down was the reception didn't process my details & the hematology test has now been delayed . Due to the fact I was extremely hungry . The trip into town was a positive one. A great teaching hospital.

Wonderful experience at this kind and caring hospital. I have been in the Fibromyalgia clinic for three years and they are amazing. Dr. David O'Regan is one of the most kind, competent and caring consultants I have ever been treated by. Jane Bird who teaches Autogenics is a star. Tracy the nutritionist is so helpful. They are an asset to the NHS, so grateful.

Awful experience. At my appointment I disclosed historic domestic abuse, to which the consultant said 'huh why didn't you just leave- maybe go to family for a while'. She then laughed when I said I could not afford to heat my flat. I left in tears with details of a mindfulness website. Classist, ableist, victim shaming cr*p.

I had really good experience first with a caring podiatrist, who sadly left to go to Australia. Then I asked my GP to refer me to the Weight Loss Clinic and I saw Dr Gill Hyams on several occasions for CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy which worked well for me. Logical discussion about what I purchase, reducing portions, not worrying about โ€˜leaving foodโ€™ instead of thinking you โ€˜have to eat all on the plateโ€™. As we were brought up to think. My weight loss of 12.7% of my body weight, would have continued if only they had follow up. I would please beg the hospital to re start this fantastic service.

I had a Lumbar Puncture procedure (first time) and was looked after by Aldrich, Nicole, Phil and Paulo during the process. They were all wonderfully kind, attentive, caring and engaging! The information provided was informative, easy to understand and the whole procedure was exceedingly efficient! I was in and out with minimum fuss! My gratitude to the NHS and staff working hard during these times.

There was no way of contacting the RLHIM accupuncture department via the switchboard. Even the operator was unsure and tried her best to leave a message with them. I tried numerous times, was put on hold and eventually gave up. I was given 10 week's worth of appointments during worktime (same day and time) which was unmissable so totally inconvenient and no alternatives offered. Waited over a year for it too. Total waste of time.

I ended up at this disgrace of a hospital because of a mixup with my GP referral, but Iโ€™m glad it happened, as I wasnโ€™t aware of its existence. Masquerading as an โ€œNHS Hospitalโ€, although homeopathy has been defunded by the NHS, this hospital peddles remedies which have no basis in science. I truly feel sorry for the gullible who fall for this trap.

Wish there were more NHS hospitals / treatment centres like this. If you have an illness that can be treated here, would highly recommend it. And if you can't their pharmacy and library is open to all. At RLHIM they combine medicine with safe practice of complementary therapies and look at all aspects of a condition - environment, physical, mental. A truly special place.

While I only go to see a specific team of specialists (occupational therapist; physiotherapist; etc) to help me manage my chronic autoimmune condition, cfs/me. The RLHIM has always provided a kind and noble service of a high standard, in my experience, from the thankfully discreet reception to the approachable security. It has been my pleasure and privilege to interact with this space for educated recovery.

Bad Experience At This Hospital's Insomnia Clinic, I was referred here to see a sleep specialist and I was seen by Dr O'Regan a consultant in sleep medicine & psychiatry. Dr O'Regan was very arrogant and didn't even let me finish what I was saying and he didn't want to help me, he wouldn't prescribe any sleep medicine that can help with my insomnia. I felt stigmatized by him "Dr O'Regan" also he was rude and not listening to my concerns. He is the worst hospital consultant I have ever seen! They should change the name of this hospital to, Royal London Hospital For Incompetent Medicine. Don't Be Fooled By The Other Review About This Dr O'Regan He Is A Nasty Piece Of Work.

Absolutely terrible! I was referred to this "clinic" after long term anxiety and insomnia problems not solved by prescriptions from my GP or therapy. I found the consultant I talked to on the phone incredibly rude, he talked over me and was very condescending. After the phone consultation I discovered he had put my details forward for group zoom therapy despite me specifically saying not to and that I find online group therapy more harmful than helpful. They are also completely unwilling to prescribe medication that might help sleep disorders. I didn't realise it was a homeopathic "clinic" until googling it now and I am horrified I was referred to this sham of a fake medical institution. Stay away if you value evidence based medicine and being taken seriously.

The homeopathic hospital helped me so much I used to have menstrual problems with very irregular periods due to pcos I had to try a few different remedies here about 5 different ones before I found which one suited me and then increased the strength dose of it but it really worked and cured the problem I donโ€™t need to take any medication for it now. Before GP doctors gave nothing much for it only contraceptive pills with an attempt to regulate the cycle these did not help and instead I would get very severe painful cramps and the pill has many side effects too
