    I am really impressed by the care shown by the medical team and usually the receptionists. However, today I was treated appallingly by one receptionist at this clinic. She asked if I booked online or by phone. I was confused and told her I booked after my last visit. She reiterated ‘online or by phone?’ Very brusquely. She then communicated to her colleagues and glaring at me growled ‘ First floor pink zone!’ I then asked her why she was so abrupt and unfriendly as I had been perfectly polite up to this point. She laughed towards the other receptionists saying she was ‘very kind’. Consequently I went to the nurse feeling very upset and explained to him what had happened in the ‘ Green Zone’. He told me I could fill in a comment form and post it in a box near his surgery. Before leaving I approached the unpleasant receptionist and told her I had made a complaint and that she was a very unkind person who left me feeling upset and tearful before my appointment. She really seemed unbothered and I told her she needed to behave in a kinder, more humane manner. The security approached and I walked out in disgust. Now I wish I had insisted on speaking to the manager at the Mortimer. I wonder if they will contact me and address this matter. Receptionists should receive clients in a friendly supportive manner and not actually treat them rudely and upset them before their treatment! 😡

    Have been using this clinic for years - amazing service ALWAYS, Friendly, professional and kind. From admin staff to doctors and especially the nurses. Thank you so much. There needs to more services in the NHS like this!!

    111 told me I could attend the clinic as a walk-in that day. When I got there they told me they had no record of it and that I needed an appointment. When I returned for the second day on appointment they failed to tell me I should hold my urine beforehand so I then had to make and return for a THIRD appointment. They treated me as though they didn't believe me and they didn't accept responsibility or apologize properly for their complete incompetence. There was no acknowledgement of the fact they cost me three half days of annual leave for a simple check-up. I'm an NHS employee and I would never treat a patient that way. Disgraceful service.

    Absolutely lovely place! Everyone I interacted with was really lovely, and super helpful. Unfortunately I can't seem to remember anyone's names. But the receptionist in the Pink zone was really lovely, as was the Doctor I saw and the lady who checked my bmi, blood pressure etc. They made me feel really comfortable and answered all the questions I had. Really great team, and a big big thank you for today! x

    I came to this clinic almost one year ago… I can say is one of the best clinics I’ve ever been in my life. The professionalism and human quality is amazing. I was happy to treat me there. Thank you so much!

    Sending this glowing review immediately after a great experience: I easily scheduled a contraceptive implant replacement via the clinic’s website (I got an appointment only 4 days from date of booking). Finding the location is easy via Google or Apple maps & the security staff confidently directed me upstairs, where I checked in with the kindest clerk. I completed one page of New Patient info in under 2 minutes, then did a quick diagnostics check on a brilliant machine in the waiting room, and finally sat to wait on queue in comfort. I was seen on time and Silvia B completed the most comfortable & reassuring implant replacement I could have imagined. My highest compliments to everyone who works here, and I hope this helps someone else find their next healthcare provider! Thank you.

    Incredibly kind, personable & friendly team of absolute professionals! My procedure was quick, easy & as painless as possible. And the staff were so supportive & empathetic at every stage whilst never patronising - they empowered me to make my own choices. I’d recommend this clinic to any friends or family in the future!

    Had a new coil put in today, never a pleasant thing, but the staff were wonderful. Really kind and supportive. I thoroughly recommend, plus i was able to get an appointment here when there were none available in north London for weeks and weeks.

    Possible the rudest person I've ever spoken to. The dermatologist reception seem to think they can speak to people like they're worthless. Absolute shambles no wonder everyone's going private.

    Absolutely amazing service, every single time I've been. The staff is incredibly professional and supportive. You can get an appointment really quickly. A couple of times I've been and they were running late with the appointments but I honestly don't blame them, with all the staff shortages that are going on in the UK. Also, considering you can get appointments often the same day, who cares if you have to wait a little longer to be seen one day. It's the best health service I've ever received in the UK.

    Doctor Catherine/Katie was amazing. I have a real fear of hospitals and blood tests but she made me feel very at ease and was super helpful and caring. A great clinic with no judgement or lack of services

    Couldn’t get through on the phone lines to make an appointment at 11:00. In the end I made an online appointment but when I arrived they said it’s the wrong type and I have to call to make another. A really complicated process across the board easier for me to go to a medical centre in another borough!

    Thank you so much to the wonderful team at the Margaret Pyke centre for looking after me during and after my coil fitting yesterday. The level of care I received was exceptional. Sexual Health in the UK is stretched beyond belief, and I truly hope this team gets the recognition it deserves.

    Took my Nan here for an appointment today, I asked at reception for directions to the dermatologist area & was answered in such a rude manner & then shouted at where is your mask… These two men one being African & the other foreign should not be working with the public if they can not learn basic manners.

    After spending 1h30m on the phone waiting to be answered, I decided to Walk In, and the lady at the reception is very unprofessional and rude, then other one come and step on her side, and makes things worse. NHS staff at Mortimer needs urgent a training to dealing with patient. Very disappointed

    Very poor service of making you wait for hours ............In this clinic usually they always make you wait more than an hour , I don’t see the point of book an appointment time and arriving 15 minuts before your appointment when they make you wait more than an hour and put people who arrived after you in front ! When you are going to talk to the reception they look upset and make you feel guilty that you are complaining for there mistake ! If you can change it for Dean street clinic ....there you will have excellent service and they will make you feel welcome ... some results come straight away and they will give you the treatment straight forward ! ( The staff of Mortimer should go to Dean street to learn how to treat people )

    When arriving here i had temperature checked and was asked to wear a face covering i told the guy upon entering that I was exempt and can not wear a face covering because of medical issues I went downstairs to then collect a prescription with my friend and she was told her wait would be around 30 minutes and her prescription should be ready after talking to front desk at the pharmacy part we was then told to take a seat and wait until her ticket number was called we sat quietly and patiently for around 10-15mins until i was confronted by one of the staff in the pharmacy section for not wearing a face covering i politely told her that I was exempt and for medical reasons I can not wear a face covering she then proceeded to tell me if I do not put a face covering on I would have to leave I then asked her so everyone has to wear a face mask even if their exempt she proceeded to tell me yes and that I shouldn’t have been allowed in the surgery without a face covering I felt utterly embarrassed and appalled at the way I was approached and spoken to infront of many other people and other stuff i felt discriminated against and felt like I was being singled out after going back and forth with one of the staff members she then proceeds to call security to remove me and security and 3 other staff members escorted me out of the building all for not wearing a face covering whilst being exempt as I said before I felt embarrassed discriminated against and felt picked on very shocking behaviour from our so called NHS staff if your EXEMPT from wearing face coverings please avoid as you will only be challenged for not wearing one

    Was not listened to. Went in to get an IUD fitted. Said before insertion I'd need a small speculum, was told they'd try it their way first and mine if I was in too much pain. Was in immediate agony and let them know. 20 mins and many attempts later I was told that they wouldn't be able to insert it, that they could have offered me an injection but didn't. Got home and bled a lot.

    The sexual health clinic was fantastic. I had a Nexplanon implant fitted here. Everyone was super friendly, professional and made me feel very comfortable. I was in the waiting room with another girl and the receptionist gave us biscuits, which really made my day. :)
