I had a really really BAD experience with this Hospital. No communication between each other. I did some consultation and some blood test and still I didnโ€™t get the results. The first day at the hospital they say that in 4 hours I will get my results and now itโ€™s passed few days and still no answer. I keep sending emails and no one reply to me. When they wanted to be paid they was really quick and when itโ€™s about the service they take all the time, The second day by mistake the hospital made a mistake and they change me for some services that Iโ€™ve never ask and never done so I had to go back to the hospital and wait until they fix the issue and honestly my health condition is not allowe me to do a lot of effort but they make me come and go to the hospital all the time. This is the last time . I will never choose this hospital again. Be really careful !!!!

Had spinal surgery in November and stayed for ten days. I cannot fault any aspect of The King Edward VII Hospital (Sister Agnes). Each and every member of staff, be they doctor, nurse, physio, caterer, housekeeper or porter was outstanding, professional and helpful in every respect. Old school values combined with the best and most up to date medical technology, intertwined with their military heritage and ethos provide the most caring and attentive environment in which to recover. An easy five star for what must simply be the best hospital in London.

I had surgery here to remove a metal plate and screws from my collarbone (after an ORIF the year prior in the USA) and that meant an overnight stay. I really canโ€™t fault this place at all. Itโ€™s like a 5 star hotel from the minute you enter. My surgeon was exceptional as were all members of staff I encountered during my stay. They went above and beyond the normal level of care and when youโ€™re already going through the stress of surgery, this really does help! The food menu was phenomenal, varied and everything was delicious. Just what you need after an operation. The rooms and hallways and everything I could see was spotless. I could have happily stayed another night! Thank you all for taking such good care of me!

Excellent stay and service. I had my ACL reconstructed and my Meniscus repaired. Top surgeon and anaesthetist. The overall hospital team were great, very personable, supportive and always on hand no matter what time. They welcomed my partner and settled her in my room whilst I came to. Both of us were very impressed. I would happily recommend. Thank you.

This is no criticism of the staff member concerned but the imaging centre requires more than one receptionist. As a result of AXA PPP taking more than 40 minutes to answer a call I was 15 minutes late for an appointment. I called and left a message on the imaging voicemail. I called and left a message with hospital reception - I was assured they would speak to her. Neither message got to her and in the fleeting moment I was there to be told I had missed my appointment she was pulled away by a patient. Then pulled away by a radiologist and only then had a moment to speak to me. She hadn't a clue what had happened. Rather than social media platitudes - of which there are many here - make sure your departments are properly staffed and processes and communications are effective.

Very unprofessional staff, with an uppity attitude. On two separate occasions, I have received substandard service, with the last being the worst. I sent my mother for a consultation with Dr. John Outhwaite for treatment of Arthritis. The consultant and secretary discussed and offered her the incorrect treatment. My mother was less than pleased, and did not wish to return to the clinic again. I called the secretary (Nadene Gray) to find out what had happened, who subsequently went on the offensive and stated my Mother and I were mistaken about the service offered. When arranging the consultation, I initially spoke with Nadene Gray about a referral from another clinic for this particular treatment, which she confirmed they offered, and we had a 10 minute call discussing the treatment further. When I later confronted her about this, she responded saying she had never mentioned the treatment to me (clearly lying to cover herself). Mistakes happen, and I never took issue with that, it could have been easily resolved. What really upset me was her immature persistence in lying, and pretending the conversation never happened. When I then contacted the clinic that referred me to King Edwards, they had advised me that Dr. John Outhwaite had been in contact with them and wished to no longer offer the treatment he was previously working with them on. My only regret was being short with Nadene, which I shouldn't have been, but was honestly infuriated at her attitude, and overall handling of the situation. My advise is to make sure you keep records of all discussions, and send confirmation emails following any phone conversation.

Mr Cathcart performed robotic laparoscopic prostatectomy on me at the end of November 2020. I had used a previous urologist who had ruined my prostate an there was no other option open to me. That person referred me to Mr Cathcart to carry out the procedure to put right the problem he had caused. Mr Cathcart is the most amazing consultant, his knowledge and confidence, together with kindness, proved to me he is the best in his field. He has a very efficient team, this procedure is cutting edge. If anyone has a prostate problem I would with my hand on my heart, have no hesitation in recommending him. Use the best and that is Mr Paul Cathcart.

Went to support a friend who had surgery and was in a day room. She seemed to spend a lot of time looking for staff as none seemed to come into the room. I was offered lunch and ordered a jacket potato with cheese for either ยฃ8 or ยฃ9 - and that is exactly what I got, nothing more and nothing less. No garnish, no salad, just a small potato sitting in the middle of the plate. Iโ€™m certainly not tempted to either be treated there or to eat there again!

Only hospital I am able to breathe in! Had life saving surgery and believe my full recovery is partly due to the outstanding care and promptness in seeing my consultant and any tests incurred. All the staff went out of their way to make an unpleasant experience into a life changing one as I now no longer fear my visits there. Thankyou.

Had knee surgery. Best hospital experience I've ever had. Impeccable service from all staff. Big thank you to nurses Jennifer and Emily, and my doctor Sean Curry. I hope I never need surgery again but if I do, I would do it here.

Professional, slick, well organised nursing - the rooms are outdated and old fashioned but the staff are adorable, kind and fun - lots of young nursing assistants who were all willing to help and chat and make me laugh . I am an old lady and had a painful hip replacement - but everyone cared for me with kindness and compassion . The medical attention is superb , I felt safe and cared for . The kitchen staff prepared anything on or off the menu - nothing was ever too much trouble, even the endless cups of tea throughout the night that I asked for - always brought in with a smile . Thank you .

I had an extremely bad experience at this hospital with the consultant who was unprofessional in how he treated and spoke to me. Had no regards to my situation and was very dismissive of my condition. The consultation was a lot of money but was not worth the treatment I received. I will be going elsewhere for my treatment.

Awful place to work. I took a temp job working in the radiology department and I wasn't even allowed a cup of water on my desk 'in case the Queen comes'. What a place. Never again. Glad it was just a temp job and just for the week.

I had a course of ten physiotherapy sessions to help with my pains. The first two were ok. The third time I was told the physiotherapist can't see me on my allocated time "because she has a genuine patient to treat" She wouldn't belive that she had given me the appointment and demanded to see proof. I shoved the appointment card which clearly portrayed that I was right. "Oh wow" was her response, as she sent me away without treatment. I was rescheduled and returned. This time the treatment was very rough, I had to have it paused because I couldnt take it any more. I was told she is unable to continue with my treatment. I cried - my two options were to carry on with the unbearable treatment or not to have any treatment at all. There was no offer of a bit more gentle touch. I left feedback to the hospital at the time, but never received any response. To be fair, I only dealt with one physiotherapist and the problem could be just her - not the whole department or hospital. Nevertheless, I would have expected to receive at least some sort of akwnowledgemet fron their side. I continued my treatment successfully somewhere else

I had a major gynae op resulting in a 3 night stay. The staff were attentive and absolutely lovely to communicate with. I had a chat with each individual I came in contact with as I could see they were working really hard to make sure my care was top notch. I appreciated everyone from my fabulous surgeon and anaesthetist through to all nursing and support staff. I was self funding after many years of NHS dismissal of my symptoms and this was the best possible use of my savings. Perfection is not possible in any situation but the care and service here was as close as I could expect, Highly recommend.

Lovely reception staff, lovely nurses and wonderfully professional consultant. Had to wait many hours for surgery without food or water but that sometimes cannot be helped, as surgery times vary so much patient to patient. Very clean with a nice waiting area too for relatives. Would recommend this hospital.

No respect when it comes to patient's name. My name was spelled incorrectly twice on the invoice. I called twice and explained. I then emailed the admin with the proper spelling and still she didn't bother to copy and paste correctly on the invoice with a capital letter. (and we are talking about a short part of the name with 4 letters only!) She might not think it's a big deal but if this is a culture of imprecision rooted in the management, I surely will not return to this hospital.

I visited for the first time yesterday to receive a template biopsy for my prostate cancer performed by the peerless Professor Emberton. The whole hospital experience was exemplary and better than any other private hospital I have visited. What particularly stands out are the exceptional organisation level, attention to every detail and the competent and friendly staff throughout. Highly recommended.

my dad stayed there and it is a bit like going into a hotel. Menu of food, coffee and water etc. Of course, as each room is private, the patient should always have an alarm on them in case they fall. Seems to cater for people who confuse going to hospital with staying in a 5 star resort. Hilarious visitors, one lady ran out of the lift as could not share it with me. Good for comedy sketch material.

I had high expectations of this hospital but was let down by a bad tempered nurse who turned what could have been a good experience into a very upsetting one. I also found the public rooms quite grubby and wasn't surprised to read recent reports of limited equipment and poor hygiene.

Excellent hospital with great teamwork and service. I had knee arthroscopic meniscectomy surgery to fix my torn meniscus. Superb surgeon and anaesthetist. The hospital staff was excellent; they were friendly, helpful, and constantly available when needed. The food they served was excellent. A big thank you to Mr. Marston and his team, the anaesthetist, nurses, physiotherapist, and everyone that supported me during my stay. Thank you very much for looking after me! God Bless.

Im having the help of a friend to write this review. The Arabic interpreter is not there at any time. I asked for him on so many occasions but he failed to turn up! The hospital might as well NOT have an interpreter. Its a tiny hospital and i dont believe there is much demand. Its pure laziness. i had appointments at much bigger hospitals where there was only one interpreter and they have always been there! I wish i could give a zero star for their non-existant "interpreting service". Will look for different clinics in future. There used to be a gent called Ahmed Ramadan and he was excellent at serving patients. Shame he is gone.

The hospital mistakenly emailed me the wrong time for appointment - as a consequence, I turned up at the time they told me and had to wait for more than an hour for my appointment. Shocking that this is the service I received. My experience with the doctor was very pleasant and professional however.

I was extremely disappointed with my last visit; the person who was performing the scan didnโ€™t read my medical history, which included allergies to some medications and substances he was going to use during the scan. He was adamant that no allergies were listed on my file. I asked him to double-check, and he returned and stated that he was wrong. REALLY?! The couldnโ€™t care-less staff attitude is just shocking.

I had and continue to receive a wonderful service. The surgeon Paul T explained the results, the next steps. His PA is prompt in responding to questions. The surgeon, PA and nursing staff are flexible, put me at ease. Never felt rushed. The facilities are what you would expect from an independent health provider. I cannot find fault with the staff as you walk off the street and the facilities.
