👍 Relatively basic gym given the location, compact but with pretty much all you need for a workout. I've never found it too be overly busy during the week days, even lunchtime wasn't too bad. I like the two spinning bikes with coaching screens in the basement. Sadly missing from most other gym group... This is a clean, modern gym with good facilities and friendly staff. The atmosphere is pleasant and patrons in the gym are friendly. It's a pleasant place to work out my only bug bear is it closes way too early at 10pm in the week and 5pm at the weekends, but apart from this it an excellent choice. Over the last couple of weeks, yes there has been problems with the showers; but I have been going since it opened and its a tad bit over the top to call this wonderful Gym a disgrace!

The air conditioners are incredibly dirty. Wondering how this is legal even. Very AC was like this - full of dirt from many years of use. It has obviously never been clean

I've been a member ever since this gym opened and it's the best gym in the area! Great staff and PTs, always there to help, which makes a great atmosphere. I love the fact I never have to wait for any of the equipment, there's always so much space, even when it's busy after work!

Located close to embankment tube stop and Charing Cross train station, its Affordable, has all the various work out sections of a gym. Classes are available. Self entry via pod with code. General average cleanliness with blue paper towels On floor and items misplaced at times. Little wiping down of seats/ benches but users. Negative: issues with over crowding after work Monday to Thursday 2.limited opening hours at the weekend:10am-5pm. 3 Water leaks in free weight area, above. cross trainer and lower ground where pec fly machine is. 4. some surfaces of equipment worn out and cracked so cuts into skin when using/ sat on. 5. Broken down treadmills which takes along time to fix.

Awful gym experience 99% of the time. Their idea of refurbishment is a spin studio with excessively loud music. Go to this gym if you enjoy your ears bleeding. When the spin class has finished they start a class in the studio and ramp up the music for 3 people in the class and a trainer that then hollers non stop. All of that in addition if youre lucky one of them will have a private client behind you. That means more shouting and talking so loudly that you cant even hear your own music to try and drown them out. I pay aswell you know. I overheard one of the trainers coaching a newbie telling him to shout loudly ro show confidence. I wouldnt pay to be barked and to hear your shrill voice in my face..the proof is always in the pudding. The better trainers are the ones with the same clients. They don't have to shout because theyre busy training their clients and teaching them. I want to train. I want to focus and concentrate. Once I asked a trainer to help me they couldnt hear what I was saying because of the loud music. I understand someone collapsed in recent months and they had to use the defib. I wonder how long it took them to see/hear or realise over the music and staff mucking about that someone needed help. I have been off with flu and today tried to get back into training. Such an assault on the senses. You cant run the treadmills face the class studio very off putting. Even the yoga class has someone barking instructions in addition to the club music. As a business youre trying to be a jack of all trades. You are not soul cycle and you are not new yorks dog pound. I overheard the manager who is a nice guy telling a member that they only wanted positive feedback as anything negative was normally someone disgruntled. If you dont listen to people that pay to come in here how as a business do you get better or be better than your competitors? Merry Christmas

Joined and left within few months. Classes are dire, in an awful ‘studio’ space. Some staff are amazing. One was ridiculously out of touch, pressure selling his PT service. And he kept making comments that were judgemental and he simply had no ability to listen to what I wanted to achieve. Put me off so much, made me very uncomfortable, for a 30 minute session he talked ‘at me’ for at least 20 of those minutes. I’ve not met a worse PT.

I've been a member since it opened and have always felt it is excellent value for money, especially for a Central London gym. Staff are always friendly and never pushy. Great gym with new equipment.

I've never complained about anything in the gym but at least hope you guys make sure you have tissues in the toilets I didn't realize until today what God's response was thanks to this man who handed me hope through the crack of the door

Great equipment and staff. And if you want a place to scroll on Instagram and YouTube for two hours, with an occasional set of exercise every five minutes so you never break a sweat, then you’ll be in great company.

Honestly iv been training at This gym on and off for 7years and I think they have never changed the sound track. It’s only down to the gym’s convenience I even still train here. Walking down the stairs literally drains the life out of me because the atmosphere is so boring. The front entrance smells like a rat has died somewhere. Plus there is one old man who walks around with basically see-through short shorts. The staff pay next to no attention to anything and there is one male staff member who spends most of his time giving dirty looks. If I could Give no stars I would

Good gym, though don't leave valuables in the lockers (or bring them at all). The lockers are easy to break in to as they are very flimsy (many of the locks are bent out of place as evidence of this). It's not nice to come back to you bag and find your wallet stolen and money taken.

Decent gym, prices are quite low, it's never as busy as a puregym! Lot's of staff on the premises, willing to help if needed. Equipment is standard, dumbbells, machines, treadmills, bikes, stretching area, classroom etc.

Great gym if you're doing cardio. The weights downstairs are quite crowded throughout the day, however, so you'll often need to wait to use the machine you want. There's no sauna or swimming pool but for the price you're paying, you get more than enough to do a solid workout

It's a decent gym, not too busy since reopening after covid. Generally cleam and tidy, but availability of tissue and spray for wipe diwms could be better - it's very rare to see people clean up after themselves now as old habits return, but a lack of cleaning products makes it harder for those of us who want to wipe down equipment to do so.

Your basic gym, no swimming pool or steam room, but lots of equipment and knowledgeable staff who are always around the help. Some equipment is a bit dated but it does what you need it to do. Has free weights area too.

I was a member of the Waterloo gym. My membership accidentally renewed for a second month even though I didn't mean this to happen because I'm moving places. When I noticed on the day of renewal and called the Gym Group they said they couldn't cancel and refund me. It's bad practice and poor customer service. I enjoyed the gym but doubt I'll ever use this company again after this experience.

Decent gym especially for the money but seems to have an even greater than average percentage of users who are too important to put their weights away. The staff only get involved if they're PTing.

I came here while on a work placement nearby. An excellent gym for the price, I came before work and barely had to wait for any free weights equipment, staff are very friendly, has got everything you need. The only reason i don't give it five stars is because half of it is in a basement and it gets incredibly hot, I am not sure if there is anything to do about ventilation..but hey you are working out to get sweaty anyway! Oh and the music is good!

Very poor management. Been member since 2018 as im local. Never seen such a poor management. I been robbed twice no help at all , i contacted management team for local discount as im manager in big company near by didn’t get any response. Today i went there and didn’t have hot water and apparently there is no hot water since beginning of last week. Really poor management! !!!

Something really strange about this place I can’t put my finger on- they seem to play really saddening unmotivating music to everyone (lots of dull rap and monotone music) and everyone seems to get no motivation from being in there. Lots of people just looking on their Instagram and the staff seem to like to just spend their time on their phone too. The music is a soul of a gym and it’s sad this place just doesn’t make use of all that incredible motivating high energy music out there. Maybe it’s the staff choice reflecting their boredom. But we go there needing to feel the gym motivation!!!

The doors automatically lock at 16:50 - and there's zero staff, causing myself and someone else's belongings to be locked inside. In trying to get back in I got a bad cut on my hand. The customer service number was not working. Shocking treatment of customers.

Gym is just fine,. Often untidy in the free weight area . Showers are often cold (now 3 weeks in a row). Air conditioning very cold in the lockers room. Price is great, but that does not come for free. Some high level personal trainers work here.

Went on a day pass after lunch. The pin I received in email didn’t work and the attendant didn’t seem amused. Very crowded and many weights were just scattered, which shows an accumulation of poor gym etiquette by members. It served its purpose but I will not be planning to come here again for the day.

It's expensive for what it is and the gym is in a state of disrepair. Many machines are broken at the same time, it's claustrophobic with little variety. The benches are excessively high and rounded making them difficult to use and potentially unsafe due to instability.

Has to be THE most UNmotivating de-energising gym. They play dull music that’s anything but positive or uplifting and everyone seems depressed and just hunched over their phone. TAKE YOUR HEADPHONES and try not to notice you have done four sets of five different exercises when the other guy is still on third set of one because he’s just scrolling on Instagram. I NEED to change my gym membership to somewhere else. Anywhere else. Can this place please stop playing rap and play upbeat motivating positive workout music?! It might help everyone. They do have good equipment though. A lot of the lockers are beaten and broken.
