Love this place. Tiny, but very relaxing. I use the spa side generally, and the facilities are very pleasant, the saunas both smell very nice, the temperatures appropriate as well. Lighting very pleasant, and giving special feel.

i used to love this place however in the last few months i have noticed that it is full of children with their parents jumping and screaming. I dont think it is a place to play but for relaxation. I rather find another place to relax.

I've been a long time member but had to stop due to intense studies and after many months I've now rejoined. I understand there's new management. When I joined 2 out of the 3 treadmills were out of order and coming near the end of my first month they are still out of order. The chilled water machine outside the gym was also out of order but was subsequently fixed. After 4 days absence I returned to find the pool and jacuzzi out of use and I assume it was for maybe all or part of that 4 days I wasn't there. The pool remained out of use 2 further days that I attended although currently I don't know if and when it's back in use as I haven't been for 4 days again (will update). The day I forgot to bring my water bottle I found the water fountain at the pool was also not working as it was simply drizzling when you pressed the button. The sauna and steam room doors do not latch closed so 1. there's always a tiny gap letting out the heat and steam 2. the door occasionally bounces back open when someone tries to close it and walks away unaware so you can often find the sauna door wide open and had lost heat when you want to use it. It's a very easy fix that hasn't been addressed for years. Then the steam room thermostat setting is too low so you have large gaps of the steam room just being a room with no steam while you wait for the temperature to drop so far down for the thermostat to kick in and turn the steam on which then shuts off again very soon due to the setting anyway. Lastly, the latches for the shower doors in the (male) changing room seem to have broken off while I was away and it seems they've just accepted that's how they'll remain from now on. Not to mention the three shower cubicles go from high water pressure to low water pressure from right to left when all of them are in use (i.e. water pressure is not even). Most of these are easy fixes but the will and effort from management seems to be absent. Overall, there is a sense that effort is not being put in at this club and it's highly neglected. The place feels like it's in a state of disrepair and is allowed to remain that way. For a fitness club in a Crowne Plaza hotel these standards are low and I won't remain a member for long.

Pool, sauna and steam room are all rather tiny....but went there in the afternoon and only a couple of people there so it was nice and quiet and alright. Staffs are very friendly.

Nice and relaxing place to visit. Not too busy during the week. Half term might be more busy!

Used payasugym and the jacuzzi wasn’t working & pool was freezing. Maybe out this info online as it was quite a disappointment. No refund/discount offered either even though 1/2 the facilities essentially not usable.

The gym and swimming pool are decent for the membership fee. However, I find is so frustrating that they organise swimming lessons in the pool. The pool is pretty tiny as it is and people not partaking in a lesson are effectively crammed into one half. It’s a bit ridiculous given than people pay memebership to use the facilities and can’t do so properly because of private lessons. They don’t seem to advertise when these lessons are running so it’s luck of the draw!

A really nice health club. Reception was efficient and explained the facilities. It would be nice to have a chill out area that is warm with recliners etc but apart from that all perfect!

I was really disappointed by the swimming pool; changing rooms dirty and not nice. As for the gym, the equipment is old and there is no TV. It's not crowded though, but I guess the reasons are above. 3/5

I spoke to the receptionist before I arrived to get details. When I arrived I was then told a totally different price and that I had to download an app or go online to pay! I had come pretty far as they said it was £3.50 for the pool. (Not £9) The receptionists was was not at all accommodating. Saying I had to fill in a safety for which they only have online. It’s was all very annoying. When I was leaving the same receptionist wouldn’t give a man more than 1 small towel. He said “it’s the new policy” Awful especially for the cost.

When I start I thought it was ok but the gym equipment is getting so old and some of them they don't work properly. The swimming pool and changing area is very dirty. I used to like the place not anymore

Having booked a day pass in advance, we were turned away because the two person booking was under one booking name. No effort whatsoever was made by the staff to accommodate for this booking change, resulting in us having to leave the facility. Complete waste of money.
