Far, far too busy. I was a member of the Lavender Hill branch, which I preferred despite an older fit out- it suited me slightly better location wise, was larger and therefore less crowded at peak times (even prior to the recent membership consolidation) and was significantly better laid out, with proper walkways etc. Now that the members of two gyms have been condensed into this one (the smaller of the two), the gym is insanely busy. At peak times, you are literally stepping over people doing floorwork to get to the changing rooms because there is no separate pathway, and there have been times where there was not one single machine or bench available. I imagine they'll up the membership rates soon, but I don't think many will be keen to pay more for what is objectively a worse experience, regardless of which gym you belonged to originally.

Been moved to this gym after lavender hill closure. Way more people… and price increased because it’s “premium” : it would be a premium if facilities were all in order but it’s not the case. A third of the men showers are cold water only ; the steam room is working only for a couple of hours a day… the safety of people on the ground is not guaranteed because it’s too busy. So I don’t get why we are paying more for less…. But I guess this is the strategy : to decrease the number of people coming to the gym. The only solution for them is to get rid of members so don’t expect a nice customer service….

Fitness First closed the Lavender Hill branch without warning, without fair communication explaining the situation, and then abruptly doubled my membership charges as part of my 'upgrade' to the nearby Clapham Junction branch, to an unaffordable level. I am beyond disappointed. Having been a loyal and consistent member of the club for nearly a decade, training for a marathon in the space, taking full advantage of the classes, such loyalty evidently means nothing to the company. My appeal for a review of the new membership price, was was met with a shrug and 'well the club needs to pay for the refurbishment'. 'Head office' are an anonymous and uncontactable group of people. My membership was cancelled soon after, my history with the club over without comment. I was two weeks later called back to share 'feedback' as to why I cancelled (!?) and then lectured on a call, the staff member again in defence of Fitness First. Genuinely an unprofessional and badly handled situation.

I am shocked at how this is a running gym in terms of safety with overcrowding and chaos recently. It feels completely unsafe walking around the gym and using equipment in any space you can find. You are now queuing for any machine since they have refurbished and taken more cardio machines away however added more members here after closing the second gym nearby. The reviews below that are 5 star recently are obviously not true as anybody would walk in and experience the overcrowding and chaos at any point in the day as I have. This is not a reflection on the staff who work there, who are super friendly and trying to manage a gym above full capacity. Highly disappointed with fitness first recently.

Unfortunately have to echo the other reviews - far too busy now to be comfortably usable, hike in membership fees, and generally very difficult to communicate with FF management about membership changes (emails bounce back, unable to sort things out at front desk when we turned up in person, etc). Ended up paying for a month where we couldn’t use the gym due to the crowding. Staff on the floor are warm and friendly, but as a chain, FF could do much better. Have cancelled our membership and gone elsewhere.

Please reconsider joining this gym. Since I have joined they have closed Chancey Lane, Holburn and now Lavender Hill. Previously, the Clapham Junction gym was great especially after 9pm, but since the other gym has closed it is now busy at all times of the day. They've also adjusted their closing hours on weekends which is ridiculous. The refurbishment of the gym co-encided with the Lavender Hill branch closing which was never communicated, I feel for any new members that signed on as now the gym is busier than ever and has seen the Lavender Hill members probably transfer over at the cheaper rate. They've now closed off new memberships apparently but will see how this goes, I'll be looking at options to cancel the membership as it is far too busy and with all the other close gyms being gyms being shut down or in poor condition I do regret the membership. UPDATE: In addition to closing Lavender Hill, reducing opening hours on weekends they've since sent an email to increase fees by £13. This is after they've closed 3-4 gyms that were meant to be part of my accessible locations (close to work). I am meant to be on a corporate rate. I have sent an email to confirm but will be looking to cancel the membership subject to how this conversation goes. UPDATE 2: Although Lavender Hill Facility says temporarily closed this is not the case. The Google review site has FF staff stating that the Lavender Hill Facility is permanently closed. The gym is not unsustainable. UPDATE 3: Sent this email to membership services: Hi, Can someone please revert to me regarding several emails I have sent over the past week, since the gym reopened post refurbishment. 1. The closure of the Lavender Hill facility - this has never been communicated properly. Is it a permanent closure? On Google it says temporarily closed and one member at the gym said it could be permanent due to a rental dispute. If so, this has not been articulated. 2. If the Lavender Hill gym has closed, this will be the third gym I've seen closed that impacts me. As I work in Chancery Lane, I opted for Fitness First (FF) due to the ability to work out there. Within 2 months of signing up It was closed. 3. As the gym has closed, the gym has become exceptionally busy and with the layout changing there are no areas to lock bikes. Is there any plan to deal with this? 4. Members are now keeping lockers closed overnight so they can have a locker, I believe this was happening at Lavender Hill so now there are times when there are no lockers. 5. Gym hours - increasing access yet reducing opening hours on the weekend? How does this make sense? I often attended the gym from 7pm - 8pm. Can this be looked out. 6. Increase of fees - I am a corporate member who is entitled to a 20% discount, yet you want to increase the price of the standard membership by more than 20% yet I have less gyms available to use, less access and no bike parking? This does not make sense. With the above in mind what are the options to cancel contracts? You have materially changed the membership experience. Please respond to me as soon as possible as I need to look at options to move to another location.

You should be ashamed for moving all the Lavender Hill members to this overcrowded hell of a gym with very unfriendly staff and at the same time increasing our prices too. As soon as the local competition opens, goodbye Fitness First.

Echoing what others have already said- since the closure of the lavender hill branch, the gym has been almost unusable due to extremely high volumes of people. Such a safety risk too, people lifting heavy weights inches away from someone doing floor work etc. They say in their comments it’s just at “peak times” but I’ve gone on days off work at very “unpeak times” and it’s just as bad. Not the fault of the floor staff who have always been friendly and helpful, but management seriously need to reopen a second branch in Clapham J. And the fact membership prices have gone up for an objectively worse experience is ridiculous… after over a year of membership I am now looking elsewhere.

Extremely busy now the other local Fitness First has closed. The air conditioner has not worked for the past two years, and it's a sweat box in the middle of winter. Overcrowded and not enjoyable

Really disappointed how fitness first have treated their existing customers at Clapham Junction since the closing of the Lavender Hill gym. It’s so busy rendering the gym unusable- and there were no communications of these plans to the existing Clapham Junction members. They claim to have extended the hours to help with the ‘busier than usual’ use. However, they are actually reducing the closing time on the weekend from 20:00 to 18:00. I’d like to see how Fitness First plans to sort out the congestion other than driving existing members away. We don’t even know if this will be a temporary issue or not - but the fact they are taking our money is permanent.

As many other reviews have stated, this gym is awful and would highly recommend to avoid. It's constantly busy, can't get on any machines, machines are always broken, staff aren't even that friendly, I could go on... it's a shame there aren't many better alternatives locally.

Do not join this gym. I am appalled at the lack of communication from Fitness First, leaving members and staff in the dark. Closing the Lavender Hill location and then to go on describing Clapham Junction as "a little busier than normal" is farcical, they've combined members from two gyms into one. If you want to know how to push your members to other gyms, this is how you do it. Edit: In a bid to keep up their “high” ratings, fake profiles are now posting 5 star reviews. The con that this business is running is truly incredulous.

Love the classes (wish there were more) and staff are approachable and friendly. But it's way too busy and over crowded. Have to queue for a log while to use the treadmill, cross trainer etc which isn't pleasant after a long day. It's not pleasant for people already using the machines either. It's worse since the Lavender hill gym closed and unfortunately it looks like that has permanently closed. There are cheaper gyms available, it's not right that we are paying premium prices when we can't even get to the treadmill

I feel you can tell a lot about a gym from the way they treat bigger people. I’m very unfit, overweight and have some injuries. I have been terrified to join a gym, let alone get a personal trainer. I’ve joined gyms before and have been looked down upon in such a way that I would rather waste a years membership than go back. After injuries last year, going to the gym has taken a lot for me. The staff here could not have been more welcoming or friendly if they tried, and have helped me feel so much calmer. I had a free personal training session as part of my membership and saw Simon, who is so down to earth and encouraging. I decided to keep seeing him as I had a really good feeling. He took time to really learn about me and listens to me feeling demotivated. He’s taken time to really take things back to the basics and let me decide if something is too easy or hard and I’ve not once felt ashamed or embarrassed, he makes me feel like I can laugh at myself and brush it off when I feel awkward or like I’m going to fall flat on my face. For years I’ve been in a rut with losing weight and battling my food addiction and I finally feel like this could be a turning point.

A truly awful gym. So busy you cannot move. Bordering on dangerous. Barely any cardio equipment, several of the machines they do have are broken. Forget using the weights unless you want to wait three people deep for everything and be asked “how many sets you have left” every time you do actually use something. I literally had someone push in front of me today to get onto a treadmill I waited 15 minutes for, which almost resulted in a heated argument when the other person informed me “there’s no line here, whoever gets on first gets it”. Oh, also they’ve just jacked up the prices. Seriously? So if you want to overpay and not work out this is the place to be. What a joke. Avoid if you have any other option.

There's nothing PLATINUM about this gym. Should be downgraded instead. Worst experience first time at this FitnessFirst gym... If you are planning to work out, NEVER try to come between 6:00 pm to 9:00pm. Free Weights are all over the floor. "health and safety" don't know what that means at this place. Instead your personal belongings are a health and safety hazard here! God bless and Good luck with your PLATINUM membership.

Terrible service. I downloaded a pass with the full intention to join as I am looking for a new gym and it's so close to where I live. Kabir who I am assuming is the duty manager, "on this occasion" was going to let me in but because I didn't book with 24hrs notice normally he wouldn't. It wasnt the fact that you need to book in advance that I can understand, having worked for a gym before. It was the passive aggressive tone as if he was really going out of his way to allow me in. He wouldn't stop going on about it to the point it made me feel very awkward and put me off spending another minute in there. Safe to say I walked out and will never return.

1 star instead of 0. A big disappointment from all perspectives. Bad customer service, overcrowded, bad management. Also you cannot trust the customer service, as they translate the terms and conditions on your own way. 1 month cancellation policy does not exist as described in the terms. If I could give 0 stars, I would do it.

Terrible services. I have joined this gym last November and asked for a 6-month membership. They gave me a 1-year instead. After complaining and let them know that in the form I initially filled in I signed for a 6-month membership, they said they will change it. As you can imagine, that never happened. After reading more reviews I have realised that this was an accidental mistake but the company's policy. Once you register for less than a 12-month membership they take the initiative to register you with the membership most profitable to them. Anyway, when I am trying to contact the manager he never returns my call and my emails and at the end of the day no-one is available to sort out the problem. In addition, even though they are legally obliged to save the hard copy forms that you fill in when you join the gym, they told me that they do not keep them. Apparently, this is not the case, since the sells team keeps those forms, that is the form that the client signed at the end of the day. I am still trying to contact them in order to send me those hard copy forms. Anyway, not an environment you can trust. I would give less than a star, but I wouldn't be able to post this feedback otherwise.

Very average facilities, over-priced for what it is. Cleaning is very spotty and hygiene levels in the locker and spa are none existent! Getting a contract is a very bad idea, they make cancelling impossible and intentionally drag it on to make you pay for more months.

I have signed up to this gym in September 2018. Went at every hour for over a year without any problem. Around the 20th September 2019 I decide to bring a guest with me and i get told my subscription is off peak only and get denied entrance at the gym: if I wanted to, I would have had to pay £18.00 extra per month from the following month. It all sounds very strange to me but I agree to start paying the extra fee from October 2019. I get told that, because it clearly it's fault of whoever signed me up in the beginning, I wouldn't have had to pay any extra for September 2019. Since then, every single time I enter the gym I get stopped by whoever is at the reception desk and get denied access to the gym because apparently, according to the system, I didn't pay £10.76. I have to spend 10 minutes of my time EVERY SINGLE TIME to explain staff what happened and eventually I get told it's ok for me to go in and they will make a note for others to know so that the inconvenience won't happen again. Sadly, it never happened. Today, after more than 20 times i have asked for a note to be made to not be stopped every single bloody time I enter the gym and treated like a thief for somebody else's mistake I decided to pay £10 extra. This whole experience made me feel very uncomfortable, I have been treated and questioned like a scammer every single time i was trying to enter the gym for somebody's else mistake.

I've only given a 1 star because the Receptionist was accommodating! I returned to this gym hoping they would have changed for the better - how wrong was I ! Know that you must leave the studio if a PT trainer has booked the studio for a 1-2-1 PT session (and don't be fooled to think the member has paid out for the entire studio, it's simply a rule whereby trainers can book out the studio if they wish to carry out 1-2-1 training, and a rule which only apples to this this particular branch!) I've been to plenty of other Fitness First branches and never have I experienced such a 'snooty hierarchical attitude' who are extremely unaccommodating to their members. Clearly this attitude problem is driven from the branch manager who lives in denial with lack of both customer service and human connection. Avoid at all costs!

Have to say this gym has gone completely downhill. As all have said, extremely busy beyond what the club can safely provide. Definitely a health and safety concern due to overcrowding. It's a premium price and most of the equipment is old now. Shower, toilet and sauna facilities are dirty. Staff are nice but expect to not get on anything unless you come at 5.30am. As a member I have to say I definitely won't be renewing my membership. Should never have closed the lavender hill FF round the corner.

I’m starting to feel sorry for the staff and the entire team working there. Most of the members are rude, unapologetic and annoying. They leave their trash around the gym. You can’t leave a machine to refill the water bottle because someone will take your place despite you leave the phone there. Those people claim themselves against wars and then are not able to coexist peacefully in the same gym. A lot of them are just there for haunting and for opposite gender validation. The business should start some sort of selection because it’s becoming a zoo and training along with monkeys is not a nice experience. The very sad thing is those people should be the one well educated considering the location. I hope they don’t reproduce.

Poor management, it is a good location but they don't look well after the equipment, the women drinking fountain has been broken from two years ago minimum, the mats are old, when you do yoga or any class are very slippery, some showers are in bad condition, every Christmas and summer time they cancel the studio classes for two or three weeks to save money bu you have to pay whole month, when you try to speak to someone there is nobody around to help you about your questions, the staff don't know anything, I am an actual member, I have been there for nearly six years, I still love to go there because of the people, we are like a community of friends, very important to me, but very disappointed about the administration.

What a big mistake I made joining this gym. My 24hr gym has more choice of equipment and does classes for under half the price. Half of the it s at the Streatham branch are broken. Steam room is not hot enough at the Clapham junction branch. I talk to some of the staff about this stuff and they agreed with me that the gym was poor and lack of investment from management. Apparently all the managers care about is the numbers according to staff. Should have joined Virgin instead.

Please be aware when joining this gym that they will intentionally hide from you the fact that they will charge your direct debit even after you leave and call it a ‘notice’ period charge whereas notices are applicable if you terminate early ( they without your consent will sign you up for continuous payment despite giving in clear writing otherwise ). I have sufficient evidence if anyone needs to see. Despite ample evidence being provided, they have proven that one off payments are more important than customer retention. The team at the gym themselves were okay. Kabir, Matt etc. the people themselves nothing to blame because they’re just doing their jobs. They too will be clients tomorrow at some place and no one should be subjected to these malpractices. The gym’s policy is in my humble opinion a case of concealment of information we have rights to as a customer. Certainly join if you want, but it should be an informed decision. All the best.

Fitness First in Clapham Junction is a great gym. Staff are friendly, helpful, and will do what they can for members. The facilities are well equipped and the space is an ideal location for locals and commuters. Yes, it can get busy, but understandably, that's down to the popularity and the obvious peak times people want to train. The energy is high and classes are on point. I know there's been a bit of clash with Lavender Hill having just closed, but I'm not giving up on a good thing; this is my gym, and I'm here to stay!

I’ve been a member since moving to London and have enjoyed the classes as well as the gym floor. There’s a generally positive vibe with the PTs and gym stuff being always nice and approachable. The recent makeover has brought in some new squats rack which are absolutely fabulous. I’ve also started PT sessions with Paige a couple of months ago and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the work we’re doing together and the results I’ve already achieved.

This gym is very nice; the classes are really good, especially spin class with Izabella. There is plenty of equipment for a variety of types of workouts and people are generally friendly, it’s clean, the locker room and showers are spacious. The downside is that it’s extremely crowded and very difficult to even find a place to stand on the floor at some times of the day and it’s fairly expensive. There are broken showers in the women’s locker room (no hot water) that have been broken for months. Even with all of that I really like it here.

Was searching for a gym in the local area went to a few and been a member of many establishments in the past. Hands down the best experience the sales team made me feel very comfortable and took their time showed me both the clubs in Clapham junction so I can make the right choice. Both clubs are great the Clapham junction station club has everything one needs from good weights area lots of classes and even a spa area. Been a member for 3 months now best choice ever. Getting better results than ever before staff are always at hand to offer advice and support. Even did a gym floor class recently first ever one again instructor was amazing supported throughout the class and was pushed the whole way. If your looking for a gym go visit the club.

I had just gone here to check it out for the first time as it's near my house. There were 2 guys manning the front desk and one of them was called Mike/Michael and he was absolutely brilliant! I had already used parts of the gym, its clean enough and plenty of space and equipment to get in a good workout. By the time I was leaving Mike wished me a good night and his friendly demeanor made me ask about joining up fees. He went through it with me so I understood everything and saw I was a genuine person with genuine interests. Because of Mike this gym will have a new member.

Staff in Clapham Junction and Lavender Hill are amazing. Always in a good mood. Gym has all necessary facilities. It was a great year of being a member👌🏻Sadly now leaving to another chain as I’ve moved away

I love this place, has everything you need including steam and sauna. Friendly members and the most amazing staff! The staff are so professional, friendly and helpful. Cilu is always on had cleaning or painting or repairing to make sure everything is ship shape, some very good PT's to train you, all under one roof. 10 years or being a member and hopefully many more.

I have been training at FF CJS for over 7 years now and absolutely love everything about the gym! Perfect location, friendly staff, a variety of classes to choose from and all the best equipment with a sauna & steam room too!

I've been a member at this gym for the most part of 20 years, and I can quite honestly say that Silu is the first person to take so much pride in the place where she works! She is keeping the gym tip-top and even up a ladder cleaning the aircon units, which has never been done in 20 years (that I've witnessed). Silu is such an asset to that gym, and they are very lucky to have her! My only teeny gripe is that the gym equipment could do with some updating/refreshing...its still the same stuff in there after many years. Now, if only there was a gym rule that stops people from sitting on the equipment for ages while typing on their mobile phones...then it would be a 6 Star Review! :)

This has been my gym for 5 years now and I'm still very excited to come in everyday and train because you can't replicate this atmosphere anywhere else.

Really nice gym, very clean and has such a great atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Especial shout out to Jordan - I had a PT session with Jordan after not going to the gym in a long time due to lockdowns etc. Jordan really helped ease my anxiety and is an excellent instructor. I've always struggled with deadlifts and in this session I was able to do them! Highly recommend if you're looking for a PT. Really glad I signed up to this gym!

The gym is great and so much to offer. The team are so friendly and clearly well managed as the place is clean, organised, great trainers and so much to offer. The easy of the app makes getting a class booked easier than ever and incredibly good value for money. Recommend this place.

Lovely staff, the main reason I come here, more than just to show off. Great atmosphere kept. Enough weights available to go around at busy times. Lots of Cardio machines around. Changing room temp could be a bit warmer but all is well. Nice big windows and skylight. Fast answers on the phone. Always a lovely smile to be met with upon entry.

Really Good, Clean, Tidy & Safe Gym to train in Very easy to find and in a great location. All the staff and management were very helpful on arrival and assisted me with all my questions and needs. Great facilities with a very nice Sauna and steam room which was a added bonus. Would highly recommend.

Great gym with friendly staff that are always happy and willing to help. Environment is really good to train in. Also such a diverse mix of classes, where the staff and instructors really get involved and create a great environment for group exercise.

It ain't the biggest gym but the quality of the space is great and the staff is lovely!! Especial shout out to Kamil who helped me the other day when I popped in and made me feel at home plus he gave me some really useful tips. Great gym so make sure to visit!

This had been the 1st time that I have ever been to a gym. The staff were extremely helpful explaining how everything works and giving me tips to make sure I was getting the most out of my exercise while also not injuring myself. I did a boot camp with Emily. I really enjoyed the circuit exercises while being encouraged to get outside my comfort zone. I highly recommend this gym.

Great gym with ample equipment and fitness machines. Facilities are always kept very clean and staff are extremely helpful/welcoming. Charlie's classes are challenging, enjoyable and taught thoroughly & effectively. I would recommend any member try them out!

Great club, good variety of classes. Nice vibe and all the equipment you need! Love Izabellas Spin classes and the Fitness Manager, Charlie’s classes too. Newly refurbished sauna helps at the end of a long day. Very happy. High recommended.

Brilliant gym with top quality equipment. The staff are always brilliant and go above and beyond. Did my first class back since this Christmas break today and Dylan really brought the energy with the rush class! Couldn’t ask for more from classes that come with the membership! Brilliant stuff, merry Christmas to the FF family!

The club have a wide range of equipment and lots of space for me to do my exercises. The staff are friendly too as they have made me have a good experience within the industry. I also enjoy the classes as it helps me achieve my target goals. I will highly recommend this gym👍🏾

Great location. Quality gym. Good vibe/music and great friendly helpful staff. Many thanks to the team - Jono, Charlie, Christian and Kabir for helping me get settled in the gym. I love coming and doing the classes and challenges you put on. I would highly recommend after searching through a lot of gyms in the area. 10/10.

I hadn't been to gym for 5 years but I wanted to make a positive change in my lifestyle. Was met by Kabir who was fantastic explained everything to me and guided me through the process. Fantastic service from him. Also highly recommend Liam who is a fantastic PT. He took time to understand my goals and then set up a plan that would help me achieve them. Starting up slow building up my confidence. Nice gym, great staff! Motivated to make positive changes.

Started using this branch regularly a year or so ago and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. Most important thing for me personally is an atmosphere that allows me to consistently put in good workouts. Staff are very pleasant and helpful which goes a long way in setting the tone and atmosphere of the gym!

Great time, spacious with lots of equipment. Quite clean and tidy. Friendly mixed group of staff that are quite helpful and provide best training. The place is generally well maintained. Amazing intense studio classes every day. Worth the money!

Best gym in SW London. All of the trainers and staff are so friendly and welcoming! Everyone is there to cheer you on and give you some help if you need it! It doesn’t feel like a commercial gym with the community in there. I started to come just for PT sessions (S/O to Diego - he’s the best!) but decided to switch gyms there full time because the vibes are so good. I’ve made loads of friends there and can’t recommend it enough! Thanks guys :)

I've been coming to this gym for 3 months and I truly love the atmosphere. Gym floor and equipment looks clean and the staff are very friendly and supportive. They offer a wide range of classes that are challenging and fun and the instructors are motivating and knowledgeable. Whatever your fitness goals are, this gym will help you reach them. Highly recommended! :)

Very friendly staff and knowledgeable staff. A decent variety of equipment but only 1 of each type. Maybe this is normal for London? The gym app is really good and has pre set workouts which is fun and keeps things fresh.

Easily my favourite Fitness First branch! It has everything you need across one compact floor. Superb during off peak times. Machines and free weights placed systematically which allows for efficient training sessions. Plenty of classes available if that’s for you. Can recommend Yoga with Elena, fantastic class! The team is amazing and everyone is always ready to help :) Great atmosphere!

I really like the classes and the energy of the fitness instructors. Very nice people working there. If you forgot your own towel you can ask for one at reception if you want to use the sauna and steam room 😍😍

Highly recommend Fitness first Clapham (Lavender hill). Staff are friendly and helpful. Facility is well equipped and clean. I like how this place is on 3 floors and doesn't feel cramped and busy. I had Mickey as my personal trainer and he was knowledgable and fantastic, he gave me the confidence to I needed.

Simply the best gym ever. Friendly staff, new equipment, amazing trainers, great range of classes, lots of lockers, free towel use, cooling airdriers, water fountains and even a sauna and steam room. The best value gym in the area by some distance vs Milo and F45. Sign up now!

It’s fine - not bad, not outstanding. Certainly not the best FF but also not the worst. Many reviews below are confusing the two FF’s that are 250m apart, but this one is far better than the other. Not sure how anyone has managed to give either a 5* or 1*. The gym is way too overcrowded, even since the refurb. AC doesn’t work - so it’s been pretty horrible through the summer but it’s a solid gym outside of that.

This gym is fantastic! Impeccable facilities, top-notch equipment, and motivating trainers make workouts enjoyable. The welcoming atmosphere and variety of classes cater to all fitness levels. A definite go-to for anyone seeking a fulfilling fitness journey!

The spacious industrial warehouse feel is a real luxury in an urban setting plus it has astonishing natural light as a bonus. All on one floor so easy to navigate and with the new refurb it has enough squat racks for the whole South West London. Been loving this gym for over 10 years...

This gym has such a premium price for such a budget gym. I've definitely been scammed by this gym. It's a lot smaller than any other gym I've been to, theres an overabundance of people every time I come here which is disgusting, a very little amount of machines, no regards to safety for gym goers, no regard for personal space. It's a very modern looking gym, but that doesn't mean its any good. Such a shame that I signed up to a years contract and I'm disgusted.

The gym has a serious issue with overviewing and it is not impossible to get on any machine without a queue. The price is still high considering the influx of members and the company do not seem to actually be doing anything about this issue other than responding to reviews with the same generic response. Nothing is being done about this so I will be cancelling my membership and going elsewhere. I would strongly advise to not start a membership with this gym.

Good gym, but ridiculously busy. Found out they reduced evening hours - which is making things worse. To actually have a good gym experience- need to make sure to be there 6am weekdays and 7am weekends, otherwise it’s impossible to even walk. Sometimes sauna and steam room do not work, but looks like get fixed, staff is very nice though.

90% of people use earphones to listen to their own podcasts or music, yet the awful club music blares throughout the gym. Come on! Even the spa area which should be meditative has this terrible noise. Rules for sauna and steam room should be compulsory shower prior to entry - normal in any decent gym. After 3 years membership, significant decline in standards and cleanliness.Disappointing. Positives: new equipment is good and some of the staff are great.

Amazing vibe in Clapham Junction, yes, It has been a bit busy lately but overall any great gym is busy, that shows a lot of people enjoy coming here otherwise would be working out elsewhere. I've been a member here for years and honestly the club never looked any better is always cleaned I can fairly say this club is at its peaks. The new squats rack after the refurbishment are an absolute banger I simply love them. Every day seems to arrive a new piece of equipment, the staff is been very helpful giving options to have different workout and boosting the classes, couldn't ask for any better gym.
