Lovely little reservoir with paths all around the lakes

Great fishery it's a shame that many of the swims are in a state with unsafe banks and overgrown vegetation I am disabled not in a wheelchair but not to steady on my feet the first thing I done today was feel over on the rather steep bank not a good start but things like that happen from time to time It would be nice if a bit more work was done on a lot of the swim as anglers pay good money to fish here I do realise that this a nature reserve but come on

Had some good trout out over the years when I lived in the Wood Green area The123 bus door too door The staff where helpful My two best rainbow trout were over7lb and 8lb back in the day Plus lost a very big Perch in the copper mill stream.

I brought my son and his friends here for a day of fishing.Greg in the office was brilliant and so helpful on the phone the day before and when we arrived he ran me through the requirements and gave us loads of great advice. The reservoirs are beautiful, my son really enjoyed the day, thank you to the team for maintaining such lovely fishing areas and to Greg for being so helpful and kind.

Nice place

Amazing for a Sunday walk and then stopping in the pub across the road. Definitely take in the view from.the top of the old mill and the view from.the visitors centre on your way in.

so good as a rainbow trout fly fishing venue accessible by public transport, that I am now a season ticket holder. best fished September throug till mid summer do take a long handled landing net.

Perfect place for a walk or a run. Clean air, quiet, great to take an hour long holiday from the city!

Amazing place with unique view to reservoirs which is surroundend by a fence and thus beautifully clean.

I used to love coming to the South side reservoirs. I don't bother anymore after they have put metal barriers. You can't see the reservoir anymore which was the main reason for going there. Walking along on a concrete path with walkers , joggers and cyclists in close proximity is not safe in all senses. The cafe which used to be so busy must be suffering due to reduction in business.
