It was a nice family time, which we spent on Sheerness beach. After 3 months of quarantine, it was our first visit to beach. This beach is stoney beach. It has a nice walking track. Though shops were closes (I believe only McDonald's Drive thru was open).

Bit of a random beach. Some sandy patches. Lots of pebbles. When tide goes out there’s mud. Quite windswept beaches with open skies. There’s some interesting beach combing opportunities with sea glass and amber and the occasional shark tooth.

Located on the Isle of Sheppey. The surrounding area is quiet and a little abandoned looking. There is a huge wall blocking the beach from the neighbouring homes to prevent the sea getting in. Unlike a lot of beaches where you are instantly memorised by the smell of the sea and the awe inspiring blue as you arrive, it is not there in Sheerness. The beach is pebbly with some sand underneath and the sea is inviting. It is a great place to chill and take it all in. It is a local beach so overcrowding is unlikely to occur. If you live in the South East of London, it is less than an hour to get to (giving traffic conditions). There is not a whole lot to do in the beach area but I think it is enough, especially if your little one enjoys it.

Major major plastic pollution every meter of this long beach. Some locals are clearly attempting to clean what they can evidenced by the piles of debre collected and left by the council bins. However it is clear that the problem is on a scale that only the government and local council can deal with.

I've been using it for years because it's closest to me. A beach like a beach. Stones and that's it. Often warm water. Located in a charming town.

Tesco next to it, with not many people walking along the beach in the evening

The Isle of Sheppey is a beautiful place to stay and explore. It has a wonderful coastline with plenty of sandy beaches and stunning views. There are also plenty of activities to do, such as visiting the historic Sheerness Beech, which has a lovely cafe and a wonderful view of the sea. The area is also home to some great wildlife, such as seals and seabirds, which can be spotted from the beach. Overall, the Isle of Sheppey is a great place to visit and explore, and the Sheerness Beech is a great place to take in the stunning views and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. I recently visited the Isle of Sheppey for a weekend getaway and I had the pleasure of staying in Sheerness Beech. It was a lovely spot with great views and a pleasant atmosphere. The beach was clean and the sand was soft and inviting. There were plenty of activities to do, including swimming, kayaking, and building sandcastles. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Sheerness Beech and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable beach getaway.

Pebble beach, step access only, lots of shells, shallow, the tide comes in quickly, sun sets behind docking cranes to west in August, shops nearby. Good for kids, dogs.

Contrary to one review, this is NOT the nudist beach, that is the other end of the Isle of Sheppey. It is pretty much all pebbles, not sand (as one reviewer claimed) Mud at low tide. Fine to swim. Great places to watch shipping

Well, It's not a sandy beach but full of rocks and shell. Not much crowded, if anyone wish to enjoy calm and quiet walk, this is the place.

AN AREA I FREQUENT often, I like that it is simple, quick access from either sitting borne, the M2 and A249, personally it is ideal for my workouts as I do taichi and general fitness on the promanede. The seafront is pebbles and loads of space for running for miles in both direction, local amenities are parallel to the coast line with pubs x 2 stores and a Mcdonald sited in a nice spot between a playground area for toddlers, teens and juniors, climbing frame and sand pit. Family have grass area to keep watch on the kids

Sheerness beach is quiet but rocky and pebbles beach. The beach promenade 8s clean and you can enjoy a walk. And that's all about it. Dangerous to go in water as the pebbles are sharp. Dogs are NOT allowed on the beach.

Beautiful beach with very long promenade that can be a great walk all the way from the Napoleonic garrison fort to the beach huts of minster, great for dog walkers cyclists and family fun. I'd recommend a midway detour into Barton's point coastal park for a bite to eat or light refreshments along your journey.

The beach is very rocky, no toilets, eating only in the city, I do not recommend it for relaxing with children, walking only with dogs or relaxing on a bike!

Probably nice if you live in the area, but you would be wasting your time if you wanted to travel here with the family, there is nothing to do, and area is very run down. Leysdown beach is 15mins away and has much much more to offer.
